Saya pengguna Kaspersky Internet Security 7, awalnya saya bingung karena key-nya di blacklist.Setelah lumayan lama browsing, akhirnya saya temukan cara yang jitu.Langkah nya adalah :

1. Install Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS)
2. Masukan key yang paling lama masa aktifnya
3. Restart Komputer
4. Jalankan Kaspersky Internet Security
5. Klik Setting
6. Klik Service => hapus centang pada Enable Self-Defense (un-check)
7. Keluar dari KIS dengan cara klik kanan pilih exit pada Taskbar Icon KIS [yang berada di pojok kanan bawah].
8. Download Patch
9. Copy Patch yang telah diekstrak [biasanya di C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0]
10. Buka Patch. (double click)
11. Tekan tombol Clean pada program Patch KIS tersebut (Kaspersky jangan dalam keadaan aktif)
12. Lalu klik Patch Kaspersky Internet Security
13. Exit
14. Kemudian nyalakan kembali Kaspersky Internet Security, lalu centang kembali Self Defence
15. Sekarang KIS anda aman dari blacklist
16. Lakukan update
17. Supaya update lebih cepat, hindari jam sibuk. (Lebih cepat malam hari/sesudah subuh/hari libur)
18. Enjoy it…………..

Meski Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 sudah keluar, tapi saya rasa masih banyak sekali yang menggunakan Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7 sebagai antivirus kepercayaan di PC atau notebooknya.

Update antivirus memang bukan kegiatan yang menyenangkan, apalagi bagi mereka yang tidak mempunyai koneksi internet sendiri,  sungguh hal yang sangat merepotkan, mereka harus men-download dulu file update-nya, baru kemudian dijalankan di antivirusnya. Beda dengan yang mempunyai koneksi internet sendiri, mereka bisa jauh lebih mudah meng-update antivirusnya, bahkan bisa juga di set secara otomatis.

Posting ini hanya bagi mereka yang belum tau cara mengupdate Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7 secara offline.

1. Download file cumul, weekly dan daily di sini
2. Jika semuanya sudah dilakukan, ekstrak ketiga file tadi ke dalam satu folder secara berurutan dimulai dari cumul, weekly lalu daily. Pada saat mengekstrak, jika ada peringatan yang muncul, klik “yes to all”.
3. Klik kanan ikon Kaspersky di pojok kanan bawah, klik setting, klik bagian update, pada run mode pilih manual, lalu klik setting.
4. Buang centang pada Kaspersky Lab’s update servers, lalu klik add.  Pilih folder yang berisi hasil ekstrak cumul. weekly, dan daily tadi lalu klik ok. Klik ok lagi kemudian klik apply lalu ok.
5. Langkah selanjutnya klik kanan ikon Kaspersky lalu pilih update.

Jika berhasil maka akan muncul konfirmasi “Update Completed”. Jika license key yang digunakan sudah di blacklist, maka Kaspersky akan memberitahu Anda kalau key yang digunakan sudah di blacklist.  Solusinya? Gantilah key Anda dengan yang baru dengan cara meng-klik menu activation kemudian install key.

You can’t image how embarrassed I am in actually forgetting my Kaspersky Internet Security 7 password. You can’t just un-install the application and re-install it like with many other anti-virus applications as it will also ask for this same password again. This is a good idea for most people, but there are going to be times where people have either forgot their password or have bought a second hand computer with the software already installed.

I fell into the “Oh my god, I have forgotten my password again” criteria. I looked on the internet with a heavy heart as I read that you couldn’t just un-install the software and I was starting to think the only way I would recover my password (not really recover) was to format the hard drive and re-install everything. You cannot believe how much I was groaning inside with the thought of doing this yet again. Don’t get me wrong, installing windows is really straight forward to other operating systems, but it just not something you want to do on your Sunday afternoon when you are suppose to be taking it easy!

After much searching I managed to put together a work around that worked for Version 7:

* Disconnect your PC from the Internet or alternatively switch the router off.
* Reboot into “Safe Mode” by pressing F8 at the start.
* Once loaded to the desktop, navigate to ‘C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0′ folder.
* Rename the file ‘avp.exe’ to ‘temp.exe’
* Restart the PC and let it boot as normal.
* Run the renamed file ‘temp.exe’
* Open the main application window and click on the settings link.
* From left hand side select the ‘Services’ option.
* Remove the tick from both the ‘Enable Self Defence’ and ‘Enable Password Protection’ Options
* Click on the OK button.

You’ll notice that Kaspersky didn’t prompt you for your password, which leaves you now free to create a new one.

* Close the window and then Exit from the program (right click in the taskbar).
* Go back to the ‘C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0′ folder and rename ‘temp.exe’ back to ‘avp.exe’
* Run ‘avp.exe’ by clicking on it.
* Click on the settings link and then into ‘Services’.
* Tick both the ‘Enable Self Defence’ and ‘Enable Password Protection’ options.
* In the box next to the ‘Enable Password Protection’ option, go to ‘Settings’
* Enter a new Password and confirm it by entering again.
* Click OK button
* Reboot the PC and connect back onto the internet.

Now please write down your passwords in a little booklet and store in a safe place!

Vean, tengo el  NOD32 portable pero debido a la gran competencia, NOD32-Kaspersky [que si uno es mejor, que si es el otro, que si uno encuentra virus que el otro no..] por eso, es mejor prevenir que lamentar.. No?

Por eso subiré los 2 antivirus, y asi se pueden tener como un backup o seguridad máxima de que su computador está libre de virus.. [Ya les digo el porque el titulo del post.. ]. Como muchos saben [o deberian saber..] el termino Portable, se utiliza cuando se puede llevar de un lugar a otro, como por ejemplo en una memoria usb [pendrive], o cd.. Ahi es que nace el nombre del post porque con la opción que les estoy dando, ya no será portable.. [Me explico?]

NOD32 Portable! O no.. Este viene con sus instrucciones y todo.. cualquier duda, me dicen..

No necesitan instalar nada.. Solo Iniciar y a analizar se ha dicho..

Ya tenéis disponible en los servidores de Kaspersky Labs, la nueva versión, Kaspersky 7, de su antivirus y su suite de seguridad, que incluye antivirus, firewall y antispyware.

Kaspersky reconocido como uno de los mejores antivirus (y puedo afirmarlo), ya está ultimando la nueva versión de su antivirus, que de momento está en fase Beta de prueba y disponible para todo el que quiera descargarla, con sus correspondientes keys o liecncias.

Entre las novedades, su mejorado interface gráfico, que ya se le ve completamente optimizado para Windows Vista, mayor capacidad de detección (su heurística es la mejor que he probado) y mayor velocidad de análisis, algo que siempre le ha perjudicado frente a otros antivirus más ligeros como puede ser NOD32.

De momento la versión beta solo está disponible en inglés. francés, alemán y ruso, así que nos tocará esperar hasta la versión final para disfrutarlo en español.
