The room was literally buzzing, and heavy metal music played in the background of HorseShoe Tattoo Parlor as first-year Jack Ellenberger climbed into the chair and under the needle.

He did not seem at all apprehensive.

“I’ve seen a lot of my friends get them,” Ellenberger said. “That’s why I’m not too nervous. I know it’s going to hurt, but I think I can handle it.”

Dr. Lomonaco commented on the increasing commercialism of tattoo and body art, saying, “They were supposed to be underground, now they’ve become mainstream. It’s a multimillion dollar industry.”
Tattoos seem to have become a kind of fashion statement, popularized by celebrities and popular tattoo designers like Ed Hardy and Kat Von D.

“The body is a site of consumerism. Just like we buy a pair of shoes, now we buy this kind of permanent decoration,” said Lomonaco.

Sophomore Melissa Boyce’s tattoo is the result of around 10 sessions, 1 1/2 to 3 hours long each, with tattoo artist Joe King at Bleed Blue Tattoo and Piercing.

Boyce’s tattoo is located on her upper left thigh and features an “Alice in Wonderland” theme.

“I really liked ‘Alice in Wonderland’ when I was a kid. I felt like I ascribed to it a little because I was rather imaginative as a child. I would basically go off into my own little ‘Wonderland’ in school,” said Boyce.

Boyce cautions that getting a tattoo is not for everyone and urges those interested in getting tattooed to research and talk to different artists. She calls it a very personal experience.

“Find somebody that you’re comfortable with, and whose art you really like, and just work with them,” said Boyce.

Boyce spent the long sessions talking to the artist, reading, doing homework and people watching. She even fell asleep during one of the sessions.

Boyce also plans to get a full sleeve tattoo – one that reaches from her wrist to her shoulder – sometime in the future that is themed around “Little Red Riding Hood.”

Caldwell also advises those looking to get tattoos to do their research.

“That’s one of the most important things in getting a tattoo. Make sure the person knows how to do it.”

“I would imagine that the average Transy student gets the drive-by tattoo,” said Lomonaco, referring to the kind of “spring break tattoo” that isn’t planned before hand. “I’d say about 25 percent of the students I’ve talked to about their tattoos regret getting them.”

Lomonaco warned that laser removal of tattoos isn’t very effective.

“I always try to advise against getting the names of boyfriends or girlfriends,” she added.

Ellenberger was pretty pleased with his own tattoo and said, “Oh, my God, it’s awesome. She’s a great artist. I have a lot of respect.”

This is the second installment of my Body Mod posts…

Just a few days ago, I established with EB’s readership my interest in body modification—namely tattooing—in my aptly-titled post, “To Tattoo or Not to Tattoo: That is the Question.”

In response to this research-rich post, one of my readers, A, suggested I channel my inner rebel and just get inked already. Besides, A wrote, getting inked is “commonplace today” and getting tattooed would make me seem “more badass by consequence.”

Rather than deter me from the prospect of getting tattooed, A’s insights made me feel more confident visualizing myself getting a tattoo not to mention dosed on the idea of being badass—especially the type of badass that comes from taking control over your own mind and your own life through body art.

Likely to be my new mantra: Know thyself and get inked.

Plus, A further wrote, “Everyone will want to see [your tattoo],” which got me thinking…

Sure, self expression is undeniably bad ass, but what if I end up getting a tattoo for all the wrong reasons instead of all the right ones?

Now, don’t get me wrong; tattoos should be displayed, loud and proud. But, what if they lack substance? What if a tattoo holds no personal value to its canvass—the person who’s inked with it?

To answer this question, I turned to my most accessible source of displayed—dare I say flaunted—tattoos.

That’s right: Celebrity skin.

Hollywood has always been about glamour, but ever since Elvis Presley graced its land, Hollywood has been about Rock & Roll too. I suggest that ever since rock stars were getting tattooed, so was the Hollywood celebrity.

Let us begin then with L.A. Ink’s Kat Von D. Here’s a chick who’s equal parts glamour and Rock & Roll. She’s totally badass—in all the right ways and for all the right reasons. She’s a talented artist, a strong woman, a fearless spirit, and a confident thinker who runs a tattoo parlor out of Hollywood itself.

Kat is intimidating at best—not simply because she has so much body art but because she displays that art so well…and so proudly. I buy it. I believe it. She’s real.

Kat Von D’s ink is who she is—not who she wants to be.

While Hollywood has always been about glamour, it has also been about façades too. The latest trends are usually spotted early-on in Hollywood. Functionality is often of little or no regard there, especially when it comes to what’s donned on the (real and proverbial) red carpet…and especially when image is of the utmost importance. Yet, the line between image and façade is easily crossed. I guess even glamour has a dark side.

Megan Fox, for example, is all glamour. It appears that, for Ms. Fox, image is the key to her overwhelming level of celebrity. Fox is the Hollywood of today’s sex icon (a trend of the Hollywood of yesteryear that she pays homage to with another one of her tattoos, pictured to the left). She presents herself on the red carpet through strong, visual mediums—her various tattoos included. 

Ms. Fox knows better than anyone that tattoos—as well as other forms of self expression—can speak for the person who presents them. Take Fox’s tattoo across her right shoulder blade for example. It reads, “We will all laugh at gilded butterflies.” Yet, the origin of the quote may surprise its readers.

It’s from King Lear—a play by William Shakespeare…  Huh? 

No offense, but a literary quote on the skin of today’s most sexy and stunning Hollywood starlet is just, well, unexpected. Fox’s tattoo’s origin stands in stark contrast with the imagery associations she brilliantly uses to present (and perhaps even create) her celebrity self with.

Yet, rather than let my surprise turn into disbelief, I’ve developed a heightened curiosity about Fox.

Fox has taken the power of imagery association and used it to its full potential—not only to create a starlet caricature of her self but to entice her audience with a sense of mystery as well…without crossing the line between image and façade.

Another celebrity skin literary quote tattoo can be found curved across the sultry shoulders of Evan Rachel Wood.

A classic beauty, Wood’s porcelain skin and delicate features create a romantic look… and her now-past relationship with Rocker Marilyn Manson gives this actress a sense of mystery (and no doubt her audience a sense of curiosity about her).

 What’s even better, though, is Wood’s ink.

Her upper-back tattoo quotes an Edgar Allen Poe poem of a similar title:

“All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.”

Indeed it is.

Wood’s body art serves as a voice for not only her own celebrity

but a voice for the today’s Hollywood celebrity and a warning against misperceptions and misconceptions alike. 

Speaking of both, another example of inked celebrity skin is that of Colin Farrell, a guy whose looks would make me want to believe most anything he told me.

This arguably notorious Hollywood playboy claims he’s just an Irish boy at heart. “I’m just myself,” he says, “I stick by my guns and I treat people the way I think they should be treated, regardless of their status. And I just have a laugh.”

Perhaps even Farrell’s bad boy image is misleading at best:

“I’m not macho about things […] I shit myself every time I go to the dentist.”

Farrell has a few tattoos, including a pretty hefty Tahitian tribal design on his upper right arm

and a good old “Carpe Diem” quote inked on his left inner forearm; (Shh…) the Cross tattooed below it was inked-in

to cover up a later added “…with my girl” tattoo.

So, don’t let all those badass Colin Farrell pictures—especially the ones with cigarettes and/or beer bottles—fool you.

“It’s not that I’m stupid,” he says in his defense, ”I just don’t think sometimes.”

Besides, with a face (and heart) like his, why would you have to?  

Kat Von D celebrity profile

Jeg hader tatoveringer af et godt ord! Kan ikke fordrage dem. Hverken på mænd og da slet, slet ikke på piger. Jeg synes, det er skamfering af noget, der er perfekt som det er. Og at se tatoveringer på en ung pige, kan måske gå an, men hvor smart er det lige, når man når en vis alder – det gælder så iøvrigt også mænd. Og så vil jeg så foretrække uden til enhver alder, men det er noget helt andet.

En der bestemt ikke kan sige at være diskret i sine tatoveringer, er Kat von D fra L.A. Ink, som jeg ikke ser selvfølgelig, men jeg jo dårligt kan undgå trailere for.

For mig tydeligt, at Kat under alle tegneserierne, er en smuk pige, men man kan jo ikke se hende for tatoveringer. Nej, jeg kan ikke lide det og kommer heller aldrig til det og synes faktisk det er skammeligt, at promoverer det i den grad, som det bliver for tiden. Men et er sikkert, er man først skamferet i den grad er det ihvertfald for sent at fortryde. Gad vide om danske mænd virkelig synes, det er sexet og pænt med sådan en tatoveret dame – nogen gør jo nok, men jeg kender da heldigvis også mange, er i den grad gerne er fri!

Okay, so I’m hearing all the news from over the weekend about this guy. The basic story is, Jeremy Swan now holds the Guinness World Record for the number of tattoos done in 24 hours. The long story is, should we care? Yes, it’s kind of cool, and every artist wants to be the best at something in particular- but should we care about how fast a tattoo artist can bust out a tattoo, or should we care about its quality? Should we give awards for speed, or artistic merit? Can you measure artistic merit?

Keeping things short, here’s what I’ve already written on the matter for TATTOO TV:

Swan Stops At Nothing For a Record <Via Tattoo.TV>

Today, my wife, myself and twin daughters all decided on adopting a homeless cat. He already comes with a name… Del. Del has only one eye, the other is shut closed. He is currently living in a shelter and is in great health. The shelter he is in now rescued him from a “kill” shelter. The poor guy has also been de-clawed, yet that is alright, Del will be our house cat. Yup, Del will be able to have full reign of the house,  (within reason of course). Being a four year old cat, he probably has some stories to tell… if he could only talk. We pick up Del on Sunday, November 15th. Del is a silver tiger, with white and gray stripes. (No, he is not a real tiger). I and my family cannot wait to get this dude, he will fit right in for sure.

Over my lifetime, I have owned five different cats, they were all unique. So, I do know what to expect from having a cat around the house… the only adjustment is to identify and know Del’s personality, his likes and dislikes. Sure, it will take a short time to have Del really blend in with our home and we are really looking forward to having him. We all went out this afternoon to purchase the necessities of making Del’s life with us comfortable. Del needed a break in his life… he is going to experience it on Sunday. Now, with a cat arriving into a household that loves Heavy Metal Music, I could not help myself from compiling a list of Heavy Metal and Hard Rock bands, songs and album titles that reference cat or any association to a cat. Yeah, it’s a list… but trust me, it’s a kick:

KITTIE - This all female Heavy Metal Band just happens to be… my favorite all female Heavy Metal Band. (Girlschool is my second favorite all female Heavy Metal band, in case you were wondering). Morgan Lander, (guitar & lead vocals) and her sister Mercedes Lander, (drums), can do no wrong by me. Kittie’s new studio album, In The Black, was released on September 15, 2009.

The Motor City Madman, aka, Ted Nugent, (who belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by the way), has the coolest catalog of albums that are for me, timeless. Cat Scratch Fever from 1977, is definitely one of my favorites.

I like Aerosmith. Especially 1970’s Aerosmith. Still, at the end of the Metal day, I cannot turn away from any Aerosmith album that has been created. I can’t help it, that is just the way it is. Yeah, I will listen to Aerosmith ballads too and I am no fan of ballads. Aerosmith’s album from 1997, Nine Lives, makes this list. Hey, say what you want… but this album went double platinum.

Alright, alright already… I know that the Stray Cats are not Heavy Metal or even close to being a Hard Rock Band. However, I have always been receptive to their Rock and Roll since day one. Back in the ’80’s, well, I had a very large poster of the Stray Cats on my bedroom wall… right between AC/DC and Judas Priest… honestly. Brian Setzer is just a brilliant guitarist, in my Metal opinion. The Stray Cats… Rock.

What would this cat list be without – Look What The Cat Dragged In by Poison?

Nashville Pussy. Now, that is one heavy hitting, no holes barred band if there ever was one. Hey, they are referring to a cat with this bands name, aren’t they?

Tygers of Pan Tang. O.k., so they spell tiger differently, who gives a crap. It actually looks better spelt that way. Now, this is a Heavy Metal blast from the past, plus these guys are still around. Animal Instinct was released on May 19, 2008. Tygers of Pan Tang have had their lineup changes over the decades… how many Heavy Metal Bands haven’t? I admire this bands perseverance and their pretty good at what they do too.

Kat Von D. I know, she is not a musician… still, she has created some damn great Heavy Metal tattoos, on a truck load of Heavy Metal players. Kat Von D knows her Heavy Metal too, she lives it. Plus… watching L.A. Ink is light years more better, fun and informative than watching Larry King Live. I am steadfast about that… it is the truth. As a bonus, Kat Von D is better to look at than Larry King any night.

Well, that is about it for this cat list. I could go on and on here… what would be the point? Enough is enough I say. This list has been long enough, heck, it takes time to compile such a list. I certainly hope all who visited and put up with the list portion had a good time. I will update on Metal Odyssey just how our new family cat – Del, adjusts to his new life with us. I make that Metal promise.

Sorry for my lack of blogging, I’ve been really busy suffering from bad hayfever and heat exhaustion(Melbourne’s been hit with an Spring heatwave). But I’m happy to report I’m  a little bit better now;  hayfever is persistent and heat exhaustion can be avoided from staying out of the heat and keeping hydrated. Which for me means staying indoors as much as possible, so I started some sewing projects!

Alright- I got some major beef (or sheep, wtf-ever) with Ugg these days. WHAT ARE THEY DOING? I get it- They blew up on the scene: every tater tot, preteen tw@t, and their mothers were slamming their feet through a Sheep’s asshole and pulled it inside out until it’s fur magically went on the inside. And we loved the socially acceptable excuse to look semi-sloppy but ‘SO in’ at the same time. Who needs Manolo’s, Carrie, we got these ass kicking* Uggs!

Maybe the planets aligned in some cosmic weird force, or the apocalypse is coming, but whatever the reason, Uggs quickly became part of what I know as the dumpy uniform.. You know, the uggs, leggings, and a sweatshirt? It screams, “I’m comfortable AND I don’t give a shit!”

Well, here you go girls- here’s a reason to party in your sorority houses across the nation: NEW Hideous Uggs that NOW have “fashionable” finishes to make you feel like you put that extra something into getting ready!

Now, is it just me or does it look like Kat Von D sexually assaulted a sheep and Ugg took an opportunity of a lifetime to make these into a pair of ‘fashionable’ boots? Perfect for the next hipster chick with braces who is DyInG to be YoU-NiQue!  What teen would say no?!

Todas elas apostam, na maioria das vezes, em um estilo pin up de ser, isto é, uma maquiagem com toque superfeminino e divertido que dá uma cara retrô ao look moderninho que essas artistas adotam. Mas para quem pensa que é difícil arriscar nesse visual, se engana. Inspirado nas mulheres sensuais que fizeram sucesso entre os anos 30 e 50, esse tipo de maquiagem requer, necessariamente, um batom vermelho, delineador, cílios postiços e blush. Quer tentar? Confira as dicas de quem entende do assunto.

Reedição contemporânea

Para o cabeleireiro e maquiador do salão Werner Icaraí 2, Felipe Rafael, o estilo pin up é bem quente. Ele ensina como fazer a maquiagem das primeiras estrelas dos musicais em Technicolor, mas com uma reedição contemporânea. O resultado é altamente sedutor.

“Aplique base e pó no rosto para deixar a pele uniforme e, depois, passe o delineador puxando o traço nos cantos externos dos olhos, estilo gatinho”, ensina.

Em seguida, o profissional passa máscara para cílios diversas vezes, para dar volume na região. Quem preferir, pode utilizar cílios postiços, que garante um resultado melhor do que as diversas aplicações do produto. As sobrancelhas, por sua vez, também são bem marcadas. A pele deve estar limpa para a aplicação da base que deve ser em pouca quantidade. Os corretivos devem ser utilizados para cobrir as imperfeições. O pó pode ser bem claro, só para tirar o brilho e o blush em tons leves.

“Para os olhos, aconselho a usar delineadores bem escuros, cílios postiços com bastante rímel e corrigir a sobrancelha com um pouco de sombra para ficar mais natural. A boca deve ser mais desenhada e com batons bem fortes”, aponta.

Destaque – No caso do cabeleireiro e maquiador Marcio Lira, que possui um salão do mesmo nome, o indicado é passar uma base no tom da pele e em seguida cuidar dos olhos.

“Aplique uma sombra preta e depois faça uma linha com delineador preto na borda da pálpebra. Nos cílios, um aplique para valorizar ainda mais”, comenta.

Para finalizar uma pin up diferente, na boca um tom perolado neutro e, para finalizar, um blush de cor terra.

I will make this quick as a) I had a spinning class tonight and b) Helen’s twisted my arm to re-join Twitter and I’m trying to acquaint myself with how it works!

Any hoo…I came home to find a package waiting for me.  I couldn’t think what it could be since I haven’t bought anything online.  Well I opened the jiffy bag and to my absolute delight, some little delights from fellow blogger Nicole (http://nivipa.blogspot.com/) spilled out: a tube of Smash Box Photo Finish foundation primer that I’ve been dying to get my mitts on and a palette of eyeshadows from Kat Von D.  *screams*  Thank you, Nicole!  You’re a star and I hope you receive my package soon.  I really don’t want customs intervening on that one!

Nicole was sweet enough to throw in a Kit Kit bar that I shall resist till after my next spinning class.

Smash Box have recently announced they will be selling their products in department store Debenhams in the UK but the Kat Von D stuff is only supplied by Sephora which was shut down in the UK a few years ago.  Boo hoo hoo!  By the way Helen tells me how envious she is of the Kat Von D make-up.  She tells me Kat is the girlfriend of Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue.

Right, that’s enough babbling from me.  I will be trying the primer and the eyeshadows this weekend and hopefully I will show you the results!

For the past few years I have a deeply respect for Tattoo Artists now a days, this people can make skin look beautiful with their art. I knew about Kat Von D a couple of years ago when a friend of mine had Kat in her my space, at that time when I saw her pictures and her art in her own body made by other famous tattoo artists I was amazed on her own and unique beauty. Kat Von D had grown as an artist and I think she is the most beautiful female tattoo artist in the world, not only she is pretty but her work is amazing. Kat Von D (born as Katherine Von Drachenberg on March 8, 1982 in Monterrey, Mexico) is an Mexican tattoo artist and television personality. She is best known for her work as a featured tattoo artist on the TLC reality television show Miami Ink. A subsequent TLC series starring Von D, LA Ink, premiered August 7, 2007 in the United States and November 11, 2007 in the UK.

Von D was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to Argentine parents of Spanish and German descent. She moved to Los Angeles at age 4 and grew up in the Inland Empire in Southern California. She credits the prominent Latino culture of Los Angeles as being a major influence in her art and style. She quit school when she was 14 and decided she wanted to be a tattoo artist. Kat has been tattooing since she was 16. Von D was asked to work at Miami Ink when Darren Brass had broken his arm. She had a falling out with Ami James which led to her leaving Miami Ink. She has said that she hasn’t talked to any of the members of Miami Ink since her departure.

Following this she got her own show LA Ink, on which she gained the Guiness World Record of most tattoos given by a single person in 24 hours, with a total of 400. She has a book compiling her artworks and tattoos, which was released in January 2009, called “High Voltage Tattoo” with a foreword by Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx. The book traces Von D’s career as an artist, from early childhood influences to recent work, along with examples of what inspires her, information about the show and her shop, her sketches, and personal tattoos. In a January 2009 interview on Anytime with Bob Kushell, Von D said about the book: “It’s not an autobiography, you know, ’cause I’m too young to do that. But this is just kind of like a picture driven outline of my career as an artist. So, you see everything from my drawings when I was six to tattoos that have never before been seen.” She was one of the contributors to Carrie Borzillo-Vrenna’s book Cherry Bomb in which she gave tips on tattooing.

Von D owns her own make-up line on Sephora, and is the creator of the Musink festival. She married fellow tattoo artist Oliver Peck in 2003, but divorced in 2007. Isnt it funny how things come in threes?
OMG John Mayer on ROVE! He is such a babe!
I havent wrote a post in a few days.
So On friday night i went to southland with Emma and we got asian for dinner and shopped. Then when i got home I watched Mean girls, which is actually one of the best movies!
Then on saturday, I made pancakes and watched Veronica Mars then I had a date with rick. We saw the final destination. It was pretty good, very scary though.
On Saturday night It was Halloween and I dressed up as Kat Von D:) Lizs party was very good! I had a lovely time:)
Today I woke up at 1:30pm and then watched more of Veronica Mars, Im just a lil obsessed with it:)

Well tomorrow is a day off so im taking photos for photography with kirsten. Im so tired, so yay getting to sleep in:)
This might be a short one, because i wanna watch Veronica mars again!

Kat Von D (born as Katherine Von Drachenberg on March 8, 1982 in Monterrey, Mexico) is an American tattoo artist and television personality. She is best known for her work as a featured tattoo artist on the TLC reality television show Miami Ink. A subsequent TLC series starring Von D, LA Ink, premiered August 7, 2007 in the United States and November 11, 2007 in the UK.

Von D was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to Argentine parents of Spanish and German descent. She moved to Los Angeles at age 4 and grew up in the Inland Empire in Southern California. She credits the prominent Latino culture of Los Angeles as being a major influence in her art and style

Von D owns her own make-up line on Sephora, and is the creator of the Musink festival.

Sinds enige tijd heeft tattoo artist Kat von D haar eigen make-up lijn bij beautyketen Sephora, de lijn bestaat uit stoere rockchick producten, precies wat helemaal bij Kat von D past. Ik was nieuwsgierig wat er zoal te krijgen is -degene die mij kennen die weten dat ik een huge fan ben van Kat von D – en ik vond een heel bijzonder product: Tattoo concealer.

De tattoo concealer is -hoe kan het ook anders- te gebruiken om je tattoos te camoufleren. Heel handig voor als je opvallende tattoos hebt die je om 1 of andere manier moet verbergen -voor een baan etc, sjeik diner met hoge bazen etc- en met deze concealer kun je ze makkelijk verbergen.

Persoonlijk zou ik nooit dit product gebruiken – ik heb zelf een tattoo rond mijn navel, en zeer binnekort gaat er een 2e aan zitten komen!- omdat ik vind dat je een tattoo niet voor niets hebt. En zolang jij er trots op bent vind ik niet dat je hem dan moet verbergen voor je baan of voor een sjeik diner etc. Ik zou deze concealer alleen gebruiken als ik uitgekeken zou zijn op mijn tattoo’s – en dat is weer iets waarvan ik weet dat dat nooit zal gebeuren – dan is deze concealer een goedkope manier om je tattoo te verbergen. De concealer is te koop bij Sephora voor $ 25,-. Er is tevens een speciale Tattoo Concealer kwast verkrijgbaar en die kost $ 19,-. Wat vind jij ervan?

Além de tatuadora pró e de apresentar um programa sobre isso (tatoos) a Kat Von D tem uma linha inteirinha só de makes criadas por ela (que são bem legais por sinal)

Olhando bem pra ela, você pode até achar que a linha de maquiagem só tem cores mega escuras e nada “usável” no dia a dia, mas não é bem assim não. Tem para todos os gostos, não só para mulheres com tatuagem de estrelinhas na cara(do qual eu adoooooro), mas para mulheres sem tatuagens de estrelinhas na cara também! (ufa!! rsrs)

Além da make ser incrível as embalagens são bem rock and roll. Os desenhos estampados nas caixinhas são inspirados em umas das tatuagens que a Kat Von D mais gosta. (no caso, em uma das 79 tatoos que ela tem no corpo!! Mentiraaaa, não sei quantas tatuagens ela tem..rsrs)

Kat Von D is one of my personal muses. I have always respected and admired women who are not afraid to express thier femininity in non-traditional ways, women who are not afraid to express themselves aesthetically no matter how “off” society might label thier choices. Not only is she gorgeous but she is a BRILLIANT tattoo artist. If you watch LA Ink you know what’s up. On another note, this season was WACK, too much drama not enough coolness. Daisy Marc Jacobs is now available in the convenience of an eau de toilette rollerball, available exclusively at Sephora for $20. The hit 2007 perfume by Marc Jacobs has seen many stages as a result of its success. Last spring I posted about Daisy eau de parfum Silver Edition, which is now available. Now Daisy can travel with you in this compact roll-on, like many new fragrances at Sephora. The last two celebrity fragrances I’ve posted about, Kat Von D and Kim Kardashian (due in 2010), are both being sold in rollerballs at Sephora.

Is it really worth paying a lot more for the convenience of a rollerball though? At Sephora, the Daisy 1.7 oz Eau de Toilette Spray is $57. That’s $33.53 per ounce. The Daisy 0.24 oz Eau de Toilette Rollerball is $20. That’s $83.33 per ounce! Don’t get me wrong, I think the rollerball is a great idea, and very convenient. You have to admit though that it’s a little shocking when you put the cost into perspective.

Ieri, ca deobicei m-am uitat la L.A. ink. O parte a fost super, apoi m-am cam ingrozit si mai departe eram cam speriata. De ce ?? Ei bine Kat von D s-a inbolnavit. Din cate am auzit ea mereu era sigura pe ea si isi cunostea corpul si nu prea isi facea griji, pentru ca nu avea de ce. Dupa cum este si titlul: If you think positive you will resolve everything. Pentru cei car nu stiu ce inseamna… Daca gandesti pozitiv poti rezolva totul. Ma rog…in general. Si ea era foarte, foarte speriata si nu-i plac spitalele. Cui ii place?! Deci totul s-a rezolvat, deocamdata. Trebuie sa ne uitam si azi ca sa vedem ce se mai intampla cu Kat von D si ceilalti.

Am reusit sa filmez ce se intaplat cu Kat. Am filmat sfarsitul de la episoad. Scopul filmarii a fost sa vedeti si voi ce se intampla cu Kat cand este vorba de o boala si am taiat niste parti din episod. Ca daca nu as fi sters v-as fi aratat si reclamele si o parte in care Bob (tipul care a inlocuit-o pe Kat cand ea era la spita), a tatuat-o pe o tipa care ma cam inerva.

Ei bine, va rog, vizionati filmarea ca mai luat mult sa o editez, o ora si apoi urmeaza datele personale, alui Katherine. (Kat) !!

Si acum sa vb. despre emisiunea mea preferata L.A. ink. L.A. ink este    o  emisiune unde Kat von D si partenerii ei, fac niste tatuaje superbe. Eu o ador pe Kat von D, este chiar cool. Chair si eu as vrea sa imi fac tatuaje, dar tata nu mar lasa in vecii vecilor, nici la 20 de ani. Daca vreti si voi sa vizionati L. A. ink, este pe canalul Discovery Travel & Livin, la ora 9 si 17 minute, nu stiu sigur, dar eu pornesc televizorul la si 14 minute. Ceilalti partenerii alui Kat von D sunt: Corey Miller, Pixie, Hannah Aitchison si Kim Saigh. Si acum cateva zile Kat von D a doborat un record mondial: 400 de tatuaje in 24 de ore. Saraca, mainile ii erau unflate, rosii si abea isi mai tinea ochii deschisi.
