After a couple of weeks off, believe me, we were not resting on our laurels, Sue and I are returning to our podcasts with a vengeance this weekend!

This Saturday we’ll be sharing our chat with the amazing and delightful Catherine Mary Stewart and Lance Guest for our Last Starfighter podcast. This was sheer delight for us, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Then coming down the pipe we are joined by the friendly and exuberant talent agent and producer Ryan Goldhar, who is working with our good friend Jeremy LaLonde on Sex After Kids. You won’t believe the news he brings to me and Sue!

Also on deck are interviews with the brilliant writer and co-creator of the hit show Bomb Girls, Michael MacLennan.

But wait there’s more… We’re planning on chatting with the adorable Katie Boland, and perhaps some of the artists and directors from the Hot Docs film festival we’re covering, and of course, catching up with our friends on Lost Girl, Bomb Girls, Sex After Kids, and anyone else we can get our hands on…

If we could give you a wish list, I know that a revisit with Kate Hewlett would be on there, her brother David, the entire cast of Haven, the lovely Jewel Staite (who will be in Toronto, we’re just trying to track her down… if we can) would all be on there.

And honestly… who else knows who Sue and I will come across??

Stay tuned…

Sex After Kids, the new indie film from our good friend Jeremy LaLonde is closing in on it’s budget goal of $50,000!

BUT!!! There’s still time to donate, or add to the donations you’ve already given! And as Jeremy is quick to point out… they aren’t just asking for your hard-earned money, you get perks to go with it!

Once the 14th of April rolls around those perks will no longer be available! And these are some pretty sweet extras, you can get a credit in the film, you can be an executive producer, you can get Skype chats with the cast, autographed DVDs and posters, a wine tasting, an invite to the cast and crew screening!

Like I said pretty sweet!

Now, I realize that maybe some people can’t afford to donate, no matter how much they would like to, I totally understand the strapped pocket-book. But if you can’t donate, maybe someone you know can, so please share this link, share the love, get involved as you can.

Sue and I are so excited to see the cameras roll on this film, and we’re working on chatting to the cast as well, some of whom we’ve had the opportunity to chat with before, and are looking forward to doing so again.

Writer-director JEREMY LALONDE is raising money via crowd-funding platform IndieGOGO to make SEX AFT

Writer-director JEREMY LALONDE is raising money via crowd-funding platform IndieGOGO to make SEX AFTER KIDS, his second feature film. It features an amazing ensemble cast of some of Canada’s best acting talent (KATE HEWLETT, ENNIS ESMER, KRISTIN BOOTH, CHRISTINE HORNE, DAVID TOMPA, among many others), and is being produced by JENNIFER LIAO.

Jeremy (right) on set.

We asked him some probing questions about the new movie, crowd-funding, and the life of an independent film-maker.

So. What’s Sex After Kids about?

Outside of the obvious, it’s really about how having children changes you as a person and your relationships with others.

Where did the inspiration come from?

I have a three year old and a three month old, and as you can imagine, my wife and I don’t quite get the alone time that we used to. I’m a fan of ensemble films and I’ve been looking for a strong concept for one for awhile, and this one literally slapped me in the face off the cover of a parenting magazine, and I couldn’t believe it when I realized that no one (that I’m aware of) had really tackled this issue up front. The stories came together pretty quickly after that.

Give us the tagline…

An edgy ensemble comedy about what happens when you’re too tired, uninterested, or annoyed to seduce the person you love, loathe, or haven’t even met yet.

What’s your movie’s comparable?

Young People Fucking meets Love Actually.

The great indie film-maker’s dilemma: Why IndieGOGO over Kickstarter?

We had a big debate over this, actually. By and large they are the same. Kickstarter known more widely, I think. And they each have slightly different features. The biggest reason was probably that Kickstarter requires an American bank account whereas IndieGoGo doesn’t. Also IndieGoGo doesn’t have an all-or-nothing policy when it comes to the funds. If you don’t raise your total amount you still get what you raised (minus 9% if you don’t raise your full amount – they knock it down to 4% commission if you do – so it’s pretty important to raise all your money!)

Where’s the money going?

Every penny is going onto the screen. Some have asked what we’ll do if we don’t raise our entire budget. Truth is that the budget we’ve selected covers everything from pre-production to post. So if need be we can apply to other places for the remainder of the funding, but I’m hoping to avoid that. Ideally this will be an artist owned project outright. The money will go from everything from paying our actors to sending the film to festivals. Because we’ve been open about how much we’re raising I think I plan to keep an open dialogue about how much money we spend on everything. I know when I was starting out that’s something I always wondered.

What’s the secret to low budget film-making?

Writing within your limitations. Don’t write a big chase sequence or something that requires extravagant locations, props, or costumes. Write something that people are going to want to see, and something that actors will want to do. Hire crew that’s passionate and needs opportunities to take their craft to the next level. And ideally connect with people who can help you in different aspects. Low budget film-making is about favours. And be realistic about what you can achieve.

So you wrote the film with your budget in mind? You have a pretty big -and great- cast for your budget…

Yep. I planned to do this the way that Edward Burns has been making movies recently. When I first pitched it to my producer Jennifer Liao I was a little more extreme even – I said that we could probably do it for $10K, but thankfully she talked some sense into me and I know now that it wouldn’t have worked. The reality is that we’re making a film for the budget that most people spend before lunch on their first day of production. $50K is the minimum we need, and if we can raise more that’ll just afford us to do more with it, apply to more festivals, etc… But my rules were simple for writing, I had to keep the locations to a minimum as well as the shooting days for each character. All of the cast is working for TIP scale, which is a special low rate that you can get. I’m very fortunate to have the cast that we have and I’m excited to work with them. Some are returning from my last film, some I’ve worked with in other capacities, and some it’s my first go round.

And what about you? Have you done anything we might have seen?

I made a film called THE UNTITLED WORK OF PAUL SHEPARD that was in the theatres last October. You can find reviews for it on National Post and other major papers in Canada. It’s still on SuperChannel and should be on Netflix and iTunes in the near future, and we’re preparing a DVD that you can purchase (although you can purchase the DVD in a media package connected to our Sex After Kids IndieGoGo campaign (and those will be autographed!). I work mainly as an editor and my last few projects were Wipeout Canada and Princess. I’ll be working on the second season of You Gotta Eat Here shortly, while shooting Sex After Kids at the same time.

The pages that really get me excited about the film so far are the cast pages, there’s a succinct rundown on every member of the cast listed on the brilliant poster to the left, which had me saying, “That’s where I know them from!”

The other one that got me really excited was the contacts and links page, because our site is listed! We can’t help it, Sue and I tend to geek out over stuff like that.

Please keep talking the film up, donate what you can. If you can’t donate, spread the word, get the knowledge that this movie is coming out there, and let’s make it as big as we can!

Here’s a look at the teaser trailer that Jeremy LaLonde and his cast put together for his new film. Looks awesome! I’m really looking forward to this one!

If you listened to our podcast yesterday, and if you haven’t do yourself a favor and do it, you know that our favorite Canadian film maker is at it again! And this time, he’s got an even bigger cast, though equally as amazing! (and yes, we are going to do our best to interview as many of them as we can!)

Wow.

This was a great podcast! We got to catch up with our dear friend, Jeremy LaLonde, the director of The Untitled Work of Paul Shepard.

We met up, shared some small talk, and then he gave us the scoop on his new film. If you missed Paul Shepard, you are not going to want to miss this one.

The story sounds great, the cast is amazing, and we already know the writing will be amazing, cause we’ve seen Paul Shepard.

The film brings in a lot of fan favorites, and you know what… you can be involved!

That’s right! I’ll let Jeremy explain in the podcast, but it’s a great idea, and should be a lot of fun.

We are very happy to welcome The Return of Jeremy LaLonde. and are looking forward to…

“If you build it…”

It’s no secret that Tim and I consider ourselves to be almost unbelievably lucky in the interviews we’re been able to do for our podcast in the months it’s been since we started this whole journey to adventure. What started out as just us, sitting down as friends and chatting about the things we enjoy, quickly turned into something far more the moment director Jeremy LaLonde agreed to meet with us. To say we were nervous but excited would be an understatement on both counts. He ended up being as supportive of our little venture as we have become about his career, and Tim and I are both honoured and pleased to count him now as more of a friend than simply a (now) recurring podcast guest.

Since that first night, it’s been our surprised joy to have had the opportunity to speak with such an amazing variety of incredible and talented guests – people we never could have dreamed would actually agree to talk to us. Seriously, there have been some weeks where it’s been just ridiculous, and I’ve wondered how I’m ever going to get through all of things we’ve managed to line up, AND work my full time day job at the same time! But somehow it all keeps coming together, and every time we think we’re about to hit a lull, something else awesome comes up and we’re right back into it again!

I think it’s safe to say that we’ve both been overwhelmed and thrilled with how well each interview has gone, too. Tim and I both strive to foster a more casual environment for ourselves and our guests, and we try to make our time together more like a conversation than an interview, really. I personally have loved speaking with everyone we’ve been able to wrangle thus far, and even when I haven’t been feeling my best, it’s always been really fun. I’ve been learning a lot, too – about the film/TV industry, about the people themselves, and – occasionally – about myself. Those are the podcasts that tend to stand out most for me, I think. Sometimes I find myself so engaged by our guests that I forget about everything else and just exist in that period of time. That’s when the experience stays with me long after we part ways or hang up the phone. It’s like sometimes I actually feel that something really special is happening, long before I can begin to articulate it.

“…people will come.”

Field of Dreams is one of my favourite movies of all time. No matter how many times I see it, I never fail to revisit all of the feelings I had watching it the first time. I’ve even been to the actual field in Iowa where it was shot. One theme of the film is that you should do what you love, and it’s possible that there really is something to that. Turns out our Little Blog That Could is taking off, too – steadily growing from week to week and from month to month – even as Tim and I work to expand our own wings to encompass more and more of the things we are passionate about. The idea that anyone – strangers especially – would want to read about or listen to us prattle on about the things we love seemed absolutely silly back in October when we first started this project. But we were fuelled by a need that wasn’t being met by any other sites we were familiar with, so we decided to just do it ourselves and see how it went. In these few short months, we’ve FAR exceeded any expectations we may have had going in. I don’t think either of us imagined that we’d be talking to the people responsible for creating our favourite shows and movies, nor that the world could actually be so small. And we’re still just getting started.

I believe it was after having the rare honour to speak with Meg Tilly (I was on an emotional mess of a rollercoaster for a bit from that one!) that a friend asked me who would be my ultimate interview. I could choose only one male and one female, but other than that, the sky was the limit. In my wildest dreams, who would I most like to have as a guest on our podcast? No criteria for the choice, either – just that there could be only one of each. Like The Highlander, only not.

My guy was pretty easy, actually. No one saw it coming, either, but probably because I based my criteria largely on the fact that I’ve had a schoolgirl crush on him since I was five years old, and I know that even now, the idea of meeting him in person – let alone getting to talk to him – sort of reduces me to a giddy mess.

Rick Schroder has always been my boy, it seems. The blond hair, big blue eyes, freckles and dimples – I was in sandbox-love from the first moment I saw him in some Disney holiday special on TV after he’d been in The Last Flight of Noah’s Ark. After that, his picture literally covered my bedrooms walls while I was growing up. When I got a little older, I realized he and I would make some pretty beautiful babies, too. He went on to marry a beautiful girl (Canadian, too – so close!), and they’ve had a brood of beautiful kiddos of their own, so I can’t fault him for any of that, really!

And really, I think that – once I got over my initial ridiculousness – we’d end up having a really good conversation for our interview. I think we’d get along really well, and I’d end up feeling pretty casual and comfortable with him. So that’s why I chose him. I’ve followed his career, his personal life, and we’re so close in age that, even though our lives are completely different, I believe we’d connect on some basic common ground. I think it’d be really fun. After I was done being a grade school fool about it, of course.

My girl – choosing her is not so easy. At all. Most of the people I would love to interview – Madonna, Carol Burnett, Carrie Fisher, Jodie Foster, Emma Thompson – the list goes on and on, yet I have a feeling most of them would either hate me, or at the very least, not enjoy any of my contributions to the interview at all. Maybe I just feel insecure because I admire them so much, and I’d really want them to like me. Or not be annoyed by me, at least. I’m not sure I’d be able to generate as casual an atmosphere in an interview with anyone like that, because I would be expecting far too much of myself going in. The people who have really been easily wonderful and open and fun to interview thus far have almost caught me off-guard with how genuine they are, and I’ve found myself sharing in the conversation more than I would usually, even with actual friends. Jeremy LaLonde, Meg Tilly, Kate Hewlett and the delightful duo Anthony Grani/Mary Krohnert have all been very charming and disarming in their ways, and I feel like I could talk to all of them pretty much forever. With bathroom breaks and such, naturally.

So, really, I am not sure who my ultimate female interviewee would be. If I could go back in time, I would love the chance to sit down with Marilyn Monroe for awhile. I’d love to whisk her away from prying eyes, and hopefully make both of us so comfortable that I’d end up getting to talk to the Norma Jeane part of her, instead of the public icon she’d created. I’ve felt connected to her for most of my life, really. I’ve even been to her crypt to pay my respects, and to tell her I was here.

She died almost exactly a decade before I was born, but a huge part of me truly believes we’d be able to connect on a lot of things, if some DeLorean-flux-capacitorized, time-warp, wormhole-like event would just give us the chance.

Hey, could I still record that on my iPhone?

THE POP GROUP is thrilled to announce that we’re launching our new endeavor with a concert / fundraiser on MARCH 16th at The Arts & Letters Club, a beautiful old literary club in downtown Toronto that has a bar that specializes in beers. Things are still in the early stages planning-wise, but we’ve so far confirmed the musical participation of WILL CURRIE & THE COUNTRY FRENCH, MURRAY FOSTER, and CHRISTOPHER STANTON & KATE HEWLETT.

The fundraiser aspect is in support of the web series we are in the process of producing. We have shot a promo for the show and will be shooting the full project in the spring and summer for a fall release.

Tickets are $25 each, and include entrance to the show and hors d’oeurves, which will be served throughout the evening. It starts around 7.

Check back for frequent updates!

Use the button below to purchase your tickets. It says “DONATE” because the “BUY NOW” button is only able to be hosted on .org’s, which seems really backwards to us.

If all goes well, you will be asked the amount of your donation… Tickets are $25 each, so enter $25 for one, $50 for two, and on and on. Keep your print-out and bring it to the door to confirm payment. (Tickets will not be mailed out but held at the door.)

I do hope they get picked up for a second series, and not only because Sue and I really want to interview them again, (a big round table discussion would be brilliant!!) and organize a set visit. No, it’s a wonderful series that I am glad to have seen, and done our part to promote and share it with anyone who will listen.

But for now, I thought Sue and I would share a couple of the blogs we like to check out and frequent…

First, as you’ll hear in next week’s podcast, Sue found Meg Tilly’s blog, and it’s incredible open, honest, and wonderfully written. She tells about her life, happenings, thoughts, and some recipes that need to be tried out!
You can find it here – MegTilly

Kate Hewlett has a wonderfully fun blog as well, and if you aren’t following her on Twitter, do it, cause she’s very funny! She has admitted that she doesn’t update it as often as she would like, but maybe we can convince her to start up again Though she does have lots on the go, so you may have to forgive her…

Find Kate – here

Our good friend Ryan McNeil has his own fantastic blog about film over here , we’re looking forward to doing a cross-over podcast with him at some point in the future! He’s as passionate about film as Sue and I, so it should be a lot of fun!

We were delighted to find out that one of our first guests Jeremy Lalonde has his own blog as well which, like ours, talks about whatever pop culture item he’s looking at at the moment, books, film, television… He’s our kind of guy, and we’re trying to find a way to hang out with him more often, so if you see him…

Check out his blog here

And our own, Sue Maynard has her author’s blog over here though she admits that with so much on the go lately, she hasn’t had time to write there as much as she would like.

So lots to read, but hopefully you’ll find time to come back and visit with us!

Sue and I have wanted to talk with her, since we started doing our podcasts! And she said YES!

So we got to sit down with Kate, and after realizing how naturally funny she is, our interview started to slide right off the rails. We laughed A LOT! This may not necessarily be our best interview ever, but oh man, did we have a lot of fun!!

She is SO much fun!

If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend checking out our earlier post of Kate and David with their Assassidate episode – pure HILARITY! We’ve already started quoting lines from it.

So, if you’re ready for a laugh, or more, grab a cuppa, and settle in to listen to Kate Hewlett!.

Yes, we got to sit down and chat with Kate Hewlett the other night, and she is just as awesome and hilarious in person as you would expect. In fact I can confidently say that our interview slid right off the rails, and ended up with us simply chatting and laughing, and laughing and so much more laughing… stay tuned for it!
But one of the things Kate told us, is that she and David are developing projects for them to work together, because as everyone who has seem them in Stargate: Atlantis or at a convention know they are a hoot!

David has just posted the first ep for one of their ideas (I’ve watched it 5 times already)… ENJOY!!

I feel kind of bad giving my first Canadian film review in a long time a crappy rating, but it is what it is. I had rented A Dog’s Breakfast based on a few rave reviews. There is a fair amount of love out there for this film. I suppose your enjoyment of this film would really depend on your sense of humour. When a film is advertised as “black comedy” I immediately expect dark and twisted. But black comedies sadly aren’t always dark and twisted. Some are silly and slapstickish and feature people falling down and getting hit in the nuts. A Dog’s Breakfast fits this category. Don’t get me wrong; I like a little slapstick now and again. There are a few comedian’s who can pull slapstick off beautifully, but mostly I like my humour like I like my horror movies; Rated R. Apparently there is an audience for this film, it’s just not me.

Awkward man-child Patrick lives with his dog Mars in his dead parents house. His sister Marilyn is coming to stay with him and she is bringing a surprise. The surprise is Fiancée Ryan who is the star of a Science Fiction TV series. Jealous Patrick immediately takes a disliking to Ryan and no matter what Ryan tries to do to win Patrick over he shoots it down. After Ryan has an accidental fall putting up Christmas lights Patrick decides to hide the body thinking his sister would surely blame him for his death. But the body keeps showing up in the darnedest places making it increasingly difficult for Patrick to keep his secret and his sanity.

Had I known A Dog’s Breakfast was going to be fun for the whole family, I probably would have bailed. I was under the impression this was going to be somewhat horror-comedy. It’s not, this one is straight-up comedy. Patrick devises plans to get rid of Ryan throughout the film both before and after he dies which end up with him injured in one way or another. He bumps into things, falls down, gets hit in the face, leg and balls, etc. Sigh. This got tired fast. Sister Marilyn and Fiancée Ryan are the “straight-man/woman” of the film. Marilyn is accustom to her brothers strange behavior and takes it with a grain of salt. Good natured Ryan tries his best to please his daft, and soon to be brother in law. Why either would care what Patrick thought was a mystery to me. There is no nudity, sex, violence, swearing or jokes involving bodily fluids, which might come as a relief to some viewers. There are some that actually appreciate when a comedy doesn’t resort to the lowest common denominator; I’m not one of them. If you are a sucker for pratfalls, cheesy sound effects and PG-rated comedy, this might become one of your favourite new films. To each his own I guess. The only aspect of the film that gave me a chuckle involved Ryan. Ryan has brought the entire first season of his show along with him and the cheesy clips of his Sci-Fi series were kind of amusing. On the winning side, there is a fun twist at the end, although I wouldn’t say it is a huge surprise, but it does work okay. The film isn’t completely unoriginal and does have a certain amount of cleverness about it, but long and short, this is a comedy that just didn’t make me laugh.

A Dog’s Breakfast is definitely working with a limited budget but at least David Hewlett who wrote, directs and stars keeps things simple. The entire film takes place in one location. If you are familiar with Hewlett you probably already know he was a regular on Stargate Atlantis, so he knows a little something about mocking Sci-Fi shows. That probably explains why it was one of the more entertaining aspects of the film. The slapstick comes courtesy of Hewlett who plays Patrick. I found him a little too stiff to pull it off, although he does seem to loosen up a bit as the film moves along. The sister and brother relationship in the film works pretty well. I don’t want to give too much credit here, as these two are actually brother and sister in real life. Regardless, I thought Kate Hewlett did a pretty good job. Personally I thought the best performance came from Paul McGillion who plays Ryan. He was the most entertaining character in the film and seemed the most comfortable with his role. Actually, scratch that. The best performance in the film came from Mars the Dog, played by Mars. He was a good boy and deserved at least two biscuits. There’s nothing to discuss in regards to effects, as there weren’t any, but the film doesn’t look too bad. It does have that made for TV feel about it, but I’m not going to hold that against it.

A Dog’s Breakfast is far too good-natured and buoyant for my taste. I would go so far as to say this is a “cute” comedy. Depending on your taste, this will either be hilarious or not. This isn’t an awful movie, but it is awfully light-hearted for a dark comedy. Most importantly, it’s a comedy that didn’t make me laugh. I didn’t fail it because it was not without a few clever moments, even if it didn’t make me laugh. I can see that some might be more amused than I was. Rent at your own risk…not recommended.

Dungeon Rating: 2.5/5

Directed By: David Hewlett

Starring: David Hewlett, Kate Hewlett, Paul McGillion, Christopher Judge, Rachel Luttrell, Amanda Byram, Michael Lenic, Mars the Dog

One of the new Canadian plays that I am certain that you will be hearing much buzz and acclaim for in the future is called Wide Awake Hearts, written by Brendan Gall, which I had the privilege of hearing read as part of Tarragon Theatre’s Play Reading Week which is running until Saturday, November 28th, 2009 (all readings directed by Richard Rose except The Attic Sequel, directed by Alisa Palmer).
I heard much praise for Gall’s play Alias Godot which premiered at the Tarragon Theatre over a year ago, I was mesmerized by his portrayal of Rudi in Hannah Moscovitch’s play East of Berlin (a role he is currently reprising at the Manitoba Theatre Centre’s Tom Hendry Theatre Warehouse until December 5th, 2009), and I saw him improvise brilliantly in Flighty Club Foot, a play not written by Neil LaBute, with Naomi Snieckus and Kayla Lorette. I have reached the obvious conclusion: Brendan Gall is unbelievably and incredibly multitalented.
But, back to Wide Awake Hearts; from its very first lines, a magnificently well constructed monologue with derisive insights into the power play among child actors on a movie set, I was entirely captivated and pulled into the world of this play. Gall writes incredibly sharp dialogue and his characters; a screenwriter, two film actors and a film editor, are continually engaged in a battle of the wits perfectly suited to Hollywood where set ups are being constantly fed, and are always matched with the most satisfying of punch lines. The story is layered in a beautiful and artful way, which often leaves the audience wondering whether the events and conversations they are seeing are “real” or part of the world of the movie they are all creating. This raises the issue of art versus reality, and, in a world where everyone play acts and constructs roles for themselves and others, how can we tell if what our heart feels or what our brain thinks is actually real? What struck me most about Gall’s writing was his use of the element of surprise. So often, I found that the intentions and locations of the characters were entirely different from what I had assumed or expected. This added a richness and uniqueness to the story which I really enjoyed.
I know that there is a long road with many twists and turns between a reading of this kind and an Opening Night Reception, but it would please me immensely if the four actors who lent their talents to first giving these characters life were available to bring them to the stage. I saw four beautiful performances last night. Kate Hewlett was equally fierce and vulnerable, as her acrid wit only mostly covered her character’s tender heart. Jonathan Goad gave a very subtle reading so that the audience, along with the three other characters, continually searched for a hint of his character’s motivations, and the truth buried beneath his self-depreciating movie lines. Caroline Cave was beautifully compelling in a similar mysterious and obviously tormented role. I found that Aaron Abrams was especially perfect in his role and was beautifully well suited to Gall’s dialogue. He set the standard for the reading exceptionally high, and Cave, Goad and Hewlett all rose to the challenge.
It is a special experience to take part in the reading of a new play, and to be among the first to laugh or to cry, and to be swept away by the characters and the story someone has poured his talent and his time into creating. It is one that I would recommend to anyone, and I think that it is wonderful for Tarragon Theatre (30 Bridgeman Avenue) to open itself up and allow the public such a unique experience. There are readings happening there all week: you should check them out- they are free!

hi it has been a while but i am good i am now going to complain and moan like normal.

Stargate Atlantis

the 5th season has just started over here in the UK we are only 3 episodes in but i am at episode 6 as the show is on you-tube and now the US is on episode 8 so i will now have to wait till the DVD box set is out to watch this season but not only that i now have found out that this is to be the last 20 episodes of the series witch in my opinion is a shame as there is a lot more that could have been done to save the show, for example: have sky one on virgin media and then the show would have had more viewers and then if the show was allowed to run to the 10th episode over here in the UK then the viewing numbers would have been adequate to save the show.

now i have to look forward to the new series Stargate Universe and the prospect of stargate Atlantis and stargate SG1 films witch should keep the franchise alive for years to come if there best case scenario is achieved of 2 SG1 and 2 Atlantis films a year.

speaking of Stargate SG1 last weak i bought myself StargateContinuum and this is one of the best films i have seen this year with the exception of A Dog’s Breakfast this has not yet been released over here in the UK but i have watched it on-line and it is funny well the humor is only sold by the cast witch is almoast all actors from stargate’s SG1 and Atlantis. it was written and Directed by the talented David Hewlett who also plays the part of the character Patrick.

the other actors from Stargate are:

Kate Hewlett – Marilyn

Paul McGillion – Ryan / Colt / Detective Morse

Christopher Judge – Chris

Rachel Luttrel – Ratcha

this film also stars Mars the dog who is the dog of David Hewlett.

i have no idea when this film is out but it should be soon so that i can enjoy this film without having to wait for it to buffer on the computer.

i go back to college on Tuesday and i have been so board that these last 9 Weeks have been so slow i have had nothing to do but now i have my mountain bike working a bit i now don’t have to worry about paying for transport to college so that makes things a bit cheaper but Tuesday i had to go to my aunts on my bike and the route that i took was about 8 1/2 miles so i have been in a bit of pain but it is getting better.

i have been listening to quite a lot of music over the last couple of months and it has been nice as i have not relay had the time with college and i wont have the time when i go back but i still has been good to listen.

till next time stay safe.
