I am very excited about the new musical ‘Nine’ that is set to open Nationwide December 25th. 

The life is about a director Guido Contini (Daniel Day Lewis) who deals with his Career and the various women in his life: Mother (Sophia Loren), Whore from his childhood (Fergie), Wife (Marion Cotillard), Mistress (Penelope Cruz), American Journalist (Kate Hudson), his confidant  and his Film’s Muse (Nicole Kidman). 

I’m digging the clip!

In the past, there have been many December blockbuster hits including the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy. This December seems to be the month of potential blockbuster hits with Academy Award winning directors behind them. Plenty of promotion has gone into James Cameron’s latest film “Avatar” which is an action/fantasy film starring Sam Worthington (“Terminator Salvation”). Clint Eastwood’s latest film “Invictus” has some Oscar buzz to it and it stars Matt Damon and Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman. Peter Jackson directs the screen adaptation of “The Lovely Bones” which has also garnered some Oscar buzz and it is definitely one of my top picks to see this December.

Rob Marshall (“Chicago”) brings “Nine” from stage to screen with an all-star cast including Academy Award Winners Marion Cotillard, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Academy Award nominee Kate Hudson. Another film that has Oscar buzz surrounding it is “Up in the Air” starring Academy Award Winner George Clooney. Before Robert Downey Jr. reprises his Iron Man role this summer, he first tackles on the role of “Sherlock Holmes”, which looks fun and action packed. Robert De Niro, Drew Barrymore, Sam Rockwell, and Kate Beckinsale star in “Everybody’s Fine” which is probably the only film that takes place during the Holiday season. In terms of family films, there’s “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel”.

My spotlight picks of the month are “The Last Station” and “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus”. “The Last Station” is a historical drama based on author Leo Tolstoy’s life and the cast is top notch. The film stars Christopher Plummer (“The Sound of Music”), James McAvoy (“Atonement”), and Academy Award winner Helen Mirren (“The Queen”). “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” is Heath Ledger’s (“The Dark Knight”) final film and looks to be quite a show. 《Avatar》《阿凡达》

观众对于《Avatar》的期待已经日渐涨高。詹姆士 卡梅隆过去辉煌的作品表（终结者，泰坦尼克号，异形），《Avatar》精彩的预告片，关于史上最高电影budget的八卦和迷雾。等等等等，有关《Avatar》的新闻在上映临近的时候，成指数级增长中。究竟电影本身，能不能担待得起如此的前期风声，我心里还是有些打鼓。但是是好是坏，都要到银幕上一见分晓。十二月十八日，《Avatar》不见不散。（到时候我回中国了，所以其实到1月份才看得到）

在今年的圣诞档期电影中，说起来只有Avatar一部，给我不折不扣“大片”的感觉。值得一提的是一干实力演员，在圣诞期间也纷纷推出作品。阵容不可小觑。

首推《Nine》

我一直在想《Nine》和费里尼的《八部半》，不知道有没有联系。还是一句话，看过才知道。
关于一个导演，在他生活中诸多女人和创作的苦闷，灵感的漩涡里周旋的故事。亮点在于这个导演的扮演者是丹尼尔 戴刘易斯Daniel Day-Lewis，而那些“女人们”，则包括尼可基德曼Nicole Kidman，佩内洛普克鲁兹Penélope Cruz，凯特哈德森Kate Hudson，马里昂 寇提拉德Marion Cotillard，朱迪 丹奇 Judi Dench，索菲亚 罗兰Sophia Loren。甚至连黑眼豆豆的女主唱 Fergie，都在里面表演了一把。看到这个卡司，有没有被震住？要知道除了Kate Hudson以外，其他每一位主演都有至少一尊奥斯卡金人在手。就连Kate Hudson，也在22岁的时候就拿到过奥斯卡最佳女配角的提名。如此高奥斯卡密度的电影，可以说是前无古人。预告片也极为惊艳，一瞅就是瞄着奥斯卡去的。是为今年期待之二。

期待之三
《The Road》

根据畅销书改编，后世界末日题材。男主角维格 蒙坦森Viggo Mortensen（指环王，暴力史）。我没法描述为什么这部片子是如何吸引我。但是如果你看过预告片的话，就会感觉这是一部故事，拍摄，表演，都极为扎实的片子。沉甸甸的很有分量。我想我会至少读读那本书。

期待之四
《Broken Embraces》

阿尔莫多瓦Pedro Almodóvar再次启用佩内洛普克鲁兹Penélope Cruz。我是从《关于我母亲的一切》《对她说》之后，开始爱上这位西班牙导演几乎每一部作品的。他的故事总有些奇异，有些边缘。取材非常宽泛，总变性人到斗牛士，从小店主到名演员。无论他讲述的是平凡抑或扭曲的人生，你总是无法忘记那一个个小人物对生活的热情和乐观，和命运周旋的小小机智与幽默。如此得怪异，却又爱得如此充沛。笑中带泪，也许可以他是我们这个年代的卓别林。所以他的新片，一定不能错过。

期待之五
《It‘s Complicated》

梅里尔斯特里普的爱情喜剧。她从来也不是经典的爱情喜剧女主角。到老了，反而总是俏皮得可爱。假日里看这样轻松的片子，总不会错的。

期待之六
《A Single Man》

预告片很怪异，很艺术，无法辨识剧情。。。我觉得不会让人失望

期待之七
《Sherlock Holmes》

应该说这部电影无甚惊喜，剧情桥段都十分老套。可是有小罗伯特 唐尼Robert Downey Jr.在撑着场子呢。如钢铁侠那般，俗至谷底的美国英雄片，有他挑逗观众，都显得趣味盎然了。更何况福尔摩斯这样经典的侦探片，还有悬疑故事来提味呢。
唯一可惜的是一代美男裘德 洛Jude Law，江河日下了。

SINOPSE

Emma, interpretada por  Anne Hathaway [Alice in Wonderland (2010) (filming) como The White Queen, Passengers (2008 ) e Rachel Getting Married (2008)] e Liv, interpretada por  Kate Hudson [My Best Friend's Girl (2008), Fool's Gold (2008 ) e How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003)] são  amigas inseparáveis desde a infância, sempre puderam contar uma com a outra, na alegria e na tristeza.

Elas planejam juntas seus casamentos, ambos a serem realizados no lugar mais disputado, o Hotel Plaza. Mas por um engano as cerimônias foram marcadas para a mesma data, jogando as noivas uma contra a outra, numa competição que se transforma numa verdadeira guerra.

No longa há a presença também da atriz Candice Bergen [The Women (2008), Sex and the City (2008 ) e Miss Congeniality (2000)], que interpreta uma casamenteira famosa, aquela que faz o casamento dos sonhos virar realidade.

CRÍTICA

Está sendo uma decepção as estréias desse início de ano de 2009. "Bride Wars" ou " Noivas Em Guerra" não é lá essas coisas, divertido sim, mas vai agradar apenas as mulheres e mesmo assim, nem todas.

Tirando os longas metragens "oscarizados" (e vale comentar que todos são realmente fantásticos), os demais estão ficando "no limbo" nem bom e nem tão pouco ruins, no entanto era esperado mais, já que os/as protagonistas são estrelas ou melhor atrizes de renome.

Sem sombra de dúvida é um filme para ser visto no conforto de sua casa, espere sair em DVD ou procure pelo torrent na internet, pois já existe e com boa qualidade.

- comentário para os "chatos" de plantão – não é a primeira vez que escrevo no "meu BLOG" que existe a alternativa "via torrent", cuja qual fora criticada por um leitor alegando que eu deveria me informar pois isso não existe! Fiquei surpresa pois qualquer idiota sabe o que é um torrent e das infinitas possibilidades em se adquirir filmes, músicas, softwares, imagens, livros, jogos, etc, através desse sistema de compartilhamento via internet, em fim acho que está claro ou pelo menos foi esclarecido.

Então voltando a crítica, o filme é legal mas fica dentro do gênero "comédias para garotas", divertido e com um enredo bem criativo, e me atrevo a dizer que o sucesso não foi grande pois faltou sinergia entre Anne Hathaway e Kate Hudson, de fato as duas não fazem um par perfeito, é como se temperássemos a carne com sal e sal, ao invés de sal e pimenta ou qualquer outro ingrediente que proporcionasse harmonia ao tempero ou para ficar mais claro, para a história!

Como disse antes, assistam pois é divertido, estréia dia 6 de Fevereiro de 2009 em todas as salas de cinemas. Para as noivas de Junho de 2009, o vestido que Kate Hudson usa para casar no filme  é simplesmente maravilhoso, confiram!

Meu sangue anda coagulando mais rápido por conta de Nine, musical que estreia em 2010 e tem no elenco a maravilhosa Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman, Daniel Day-Lewis, Sophia Loren, Kate Hudson, Fergie e Marion Cotillard.

O trailer já está correndo a web e só aguçou ainda mais a minha curiosidade. Be Italian!

There’s a famous saying attributed to comedian George Burns : “The secret of acting is sincerity.  If you can fake that, you’ve got it made.”

It’s a Hollywood truism, but I really think the stars who turned out for the CNN Heroes show were sincerely moved by the people they honored.  Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Pierce Brosnan, Neil Patrick Harris, Dwayne Johnson and George Lopez were among the celebs who introduced the 10 finalists for “CNN Hero of the Year”, each of the nominees an “everyday person doing the extraordinary.”

Brosnan introduced nominee Andrea Ivory, a breast cancer survivor who has created a network of mobile mammography vans in Florida to reach women who might not otherwise have access to cancer screening.  I was touched by Brosnan’s introduction in which he talked about losing his first wife to cancer.  His openness about that and his admiration of Ivory were really impressive.

Harris went off prompter to talk about how honored he was to participate in the event, and he repeated that to us backstage afterwards.  I loved how Lopez introduced his nominee, Jorge Munoz, affectionately calling him “Jorgito”. 

Terrence Howard returned this year just to sit in the audience.  Last year, he introduced 2008 CNN Hero of the Year Liz McCartney, who’s been helping rebuild the lives of Hurricane Katrina victims in Louisiana.  I saw Howard at an event a couple of months ago, and tears came to his eyes as  he talked about McCartney’s work.  He clearly hadn’t forgotten her.

Sure, there are cynical entertainers who show up at a charity event for the exposure.   But the stars at CNN Heroes seemed sincerely happy — almost relieved — to be part of an awards show that is about humanitarian contributions and not self-congratulation.

If you have the chance, watch the show when it’s re-broadcast this weekend on CNN.  Like the stars, I don’t think you’ll fail to be moved.

The plan was to submit another entry sooner, but constantly Googling and pasting Jenner’s aged-Ken-doll face all over my computer screen resulted in nightmarish dreams where I was strapped to a lab chair with Kim ‘dashian applying Jenner’s face to my own using her butt.

Kathleen Turner. Mimi Rogers. Goldie Hawn. That’s what my 80’s wet dreams looked like.

In true testimony to the time that was the 1980’s, there’s some real questionable taste there. And probably coke.

This list remained intact until several things happened:

• Kathleen Turner’s voice only got huskier and dickly-er, eventually catching up with her physical appearance, a look that confirmed that she and Jamie Lee Curtis seemed to be drinking the same “DICK TO THE XXXXTREME” protein shakes. Seriously; nowadays she looks like Robert Downey’s older brother. This is the woman that did Romancing the Stone–yet ended-up being the World’s Hottest Voice-Over for the Who Framed Roger Rabbit? movie as Jessica Rabbit, the only cartoon character I’d consider let playing with my No. 2 pencil.
• Mimi Rogers–well, actually, nothing bad really happened to Mimi Rogers (except, well, her consistently shit-awful movie choices), but soon the world introduced me to hotter, younger, bustier brunettes like Nigella Lawson and really, who can compete with Nigella????????

• Goldie Hawn–oh. Oh. Oh. Goldie. I’m not quite sure what happened to GH; in movies like Private Benjamin and Wildcats she was probably the ultimate cute-hot combination. She was even still kinda cute-hot in Bird on a Wire with Mel “Screw Jews” Gibson. But then, well, she kinda disappeared from Hollywood relevancy until resurfacing with Susan Sarandon’s breasts in Banger Sisters which probably made less money than what www.bangbros.com (uh, I wouldn’t click that if I were you) makes in an hour. And then First Wives Club and–holy shit, I just Googled Hawn for some more info and just learned that she’s 64 years old.

I repeat: Goldie Hawn is 64 years old.

But anyway–her face. Her Hollywood face.

Goldie’s face looks like it underwent a transformation that involved sitting in one of those military G-force flight simulators while being forced to watch daughter Kate Hudson’s movies.

The result? It’s like the old superstitious phrase, “step on a crack break your mother’s face”: the once-cute Private Benjamin would now have to pay someone (like say Kurt Russell) a lot of Benjamins in order to hit her private. I mean forget Banger Sisters; at this point I don’t think anyone would even bang’er face.

Maybe this is why Kate’s remained single for so long; usually a woman’s mother is a window into how the girl will look down the road.

It would appear that Kate’s window is going to remain shut for awhile.

Chopard has long adorned Hollywood’s leading ladies with its spectacular jewels and watches, and now the Swiss jeweler will light up the big screen in the movie, Nine, starring an A-list cast including Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman, Penélope Cruz and more. “After meeting with Colleen Atwood, the Academy Award-winning costume designer working on Nine, I immediately understood the need for a very personalized look for each of these very different roles,” said Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele in a release. “Colleen explained her stylistic inspiration for each of the women and together, we created a very special Haute Joaillerie collection, tailor-made to reflect the style and personality of each character.” Nine is based on the original 1982 Tony Award-winning Broadway production, which is based on the iconic Fellini film 8 1/2. Added Harvey Weinstein about his company’s film, “We were looking for a jewelry brand to work with our costume designer Colleen Atwood, and I knew Chopard would work seamlessly.” Nine opens in theaters nationwide on December 25.

Nine, o novo filme do diretor Rob Marshall (Chicago), ganhou um novo cartaz que mostra as mulheres da vida de Guido, vivido por Daniel Day-Lewis.

O filme é baseado no musical de mesmo nome, que por sua vez foi baseado no filme 8 e meio de Federico Fellini e conta a história de um cineasta que durante a crise de meia idade usa lembranças das mulheres que passaram pela sua vida para poder superar a crise e reaver sua criatividade que anda em baixa.

O de contar com Daniel Day-Lewis no elenco o filme tem também a presença de Sophia Loren, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Judi Dench e Fergie, que farão os papéis das mulheres da vida de Guido.

Nine entra em cartaz aqui no Brasil no dia 15 de Janeiro de 2010.

Mientras más se acerca la fecha del estreno, la publicidad de Nine se hace más abundante. Tenemos ahora un nuevo póster de la cinta, pero ahora enfocado exclusivamente a las bellezas que formarán parte de la misma, a saber, Penélope Cruz, Kate Hudson y Fergie. Hay que hacer notar que, al parecer, la tendencia de Hollywood está cambiando nuevamente, pues tras de que se pudieran de moda las muchachas de menos de 25 años como símbolos sexuales, ahora están volviendo fuertemente las mujeres algo mayores, pues estas tres protagonistas están todas ellas dentro de los treintas. Y a como van las cosas, es posible que pronto regresen las maduras.

Hay que destacar también que entre tanta hembra potente se cuela ese hombre tranquilo y discreto que se transfigura en monstruo imparable sobre un escenario, conocido como Daniel Day Lewis, un tipo al que nadie querría enfrentarse en una gala de premios.
