Bei Tempesta Italiana wird ja immer gern spekuliert, aber das Gerücht eines Neuzuganges von Eva-Maria May scheint sich zu bestätigen. Sie soll als Katja Heinemann auftauchen, die bekanntlich die Schwester von Nils ist und bereits als Diebin und Kunstfälscherin im Gespräch war.  Kann man vielleicht gespannt drauf sein und hoffentlich darf sie ihre Kurzhaarfrisur behalten   – wäre immerhin ein Novum oder erinnert sich jemand an eine SdL-Frauenfigur mit kurzen Haaren?

Hurrah, summer is on the way for those of us south of the equator! The gorgeous sunny weather has arrived here in Perth, and I must say that I love the change of the seasons.

The cheery sunshine calls me outdoors to play, but that doesn’t mean I don’t need projects to do indoors – any blistering heat sends me scurrying in to flake under the airconditioning. While I always manage to find a million things to occupy my time, I do appreciate it when someone does the work for me and tells me what fun things I can do. And I have found just the right thing for a summer project:

Heavenly Cute Online Class!!

The online class is being created and run by the delightful Ms Katja of maedchenmitherz, and I am very excited to do this class! Her website is full of the most gorgeous projects and inspiration, so I am signing up without a second thought. She plans to have all different kinds of craft projects, including crochet, knitting, sewing, clay, and paper projects. They will all be tailored for beginners which is perfect for me.

Aș putea să scriu despre blogmeet… Și o să scriu, dar nu amu că așa nu am pofta să-mi tocesc degetele pe tastatură mai mult de 5 minute. Ioi.

În concluzie o să fac niște liniuțe și o să scriu ce a remarcat azi creierașul meu, după o săptămână de medical:

liniuță: la lucru nu e așa de rău pe cât mă plâng de multe ori. E chiar ok (probabil datorită faptului că și clienții erau încă amorțiți de aburii de weekend. Nu pot să le urez decât la cât mai multă amețeală);

liniuță: o încăpere standard are 4 pereți. Și podea. Și tavan. Da, și niște găuri: ușă și geam. No, azi la buda de la lucru toți pereții (și tavanul și podeaua și ușa și geamul) erau plini cu buburuze. Mari, decolorate și umflate. Și multe. Și amețite. Și pe după amiază câteva erau cu burta în sus. Nu știu cine le-a anesteziat și parcă nici nu aș vrea să știu ;

liniuță: am realizat cât e de plăcut să lucrezi cu date legate de salarii. Și nu mă refer la sume, care pentru mine oricum sunt doar niște înșiruiri de cifre, ci la faptul că… doamne cât de bine m-am delectat azi verificând ceva rapoarte și urmărind numele a 550 și ceva de angajați de la o firmă. Banal sau plictisitor ar spune unii. Dar când vezi ce nume pot avea diverși oameni te crăcănezi de râs. Exemple aș putea da dar nu se cuvine. Așa că rămâne ideea;

liniuță: mă doare stomacul. Clawd stă pe scaun acuma ca o (scuzați-mi expresia) băleguță pleoștită și moale. Și râde.  Și grohăie. Pardon, tușește. Și iarăși râde. Din nou;

liniuță: mâța mea (Katja pe chemarea ei) e cât o valiză. Îi atârnă blana de durdulie ce îi. Da’ încă fuge ca o bezmetica prin toata casa. Cu suitul pe mobila e mai greu că no, îi cam atârnă curu’ blănos. Înjură pisicește și sare mai departe, în urmărirea a dracu-știe-ce-i-mai-debitează-mintea. No;

liniuță: gata liniuțele, nu mai am. Am obosit. E greu să faci brainstorming legat de… nimic.

O seară bună

Met enige vertraging – niet voor het koppel, maar wel voor deze blog – geef ik jullie nog een glimp van het huwelijk van Katja & Nico. Over heel huwelijk hing er een ontspannen sfeer. Niets kon er fout gaan die dag, het was gewoon genieten. Dit was dan ook heel leuk werken. Na de cerenomie op het stadhuis van Berlaar, trokken we richting het mooie begijnhof van Lier. Een prachtig decor voor een rustige fotoshoot. Ik wens Nico & Katja het allerbeste toe!

In celebration of the birthdays of my friends, Sweetpea and Bella, we decided to head out to the Lower East Side for some Austrian food. Based on a friend’s recommendation, Sweetpea suggested that we try out a restaurant called Katja. Not knowing what to expect, I showed up at the restaurant, ready to be surprised. I was welcomed by a small, but cozy and stylish-looking place.

My friends and I were starving, so we decided to dive right into the menu, which offered a selection of Austrian dishes.

Upon the recommendation of the waitress, I ordered the Austrian meatballs and Sweetpea ordered the späztle. Bella ordered the seared hickory smoked salmon. And to calm our starving tummies, we ordered the pretzel with spread as an appetizer, which made us very content when it arrived.

The pretzel was nice and hot, as if it just came right out of the oven. The bread of the pretzel was soft on the inside, but had a slightly chewy outer skin, which was a perfect combination of texture. There was a light sprinkle of salt on the pretzel, which gave the pretzel some flavoring , but not so much so that the saltiness would be overbearing. Accompanying the appetizer, there was a light garlic spread and butter on the side.

As delicious as the appetizer tasted, the main entreés were even more savory.

Austrian Meatballs

My mouth watered as the waitress laid down the giant plate of Austrian meatballs before me. The meatballs were juicy and scrumptious. They tasted as if they were made from pork. Along with the meatballs, there were also roasted carrots, which were soft to the bite. A generous helping of potato puree definitely helped fill me up to the brim. A nice sprinkle of fried onion flakes on all the food also enhanced the flavor of the whole dish.

Spatzle

Sweetpea’s spätzle (which is egg noodle dumpling) was also delectable. The spatzle was mixed in with snow peas, shitake mushrooms, pea sprouts, and peppercorn sauce. The dish reminded me a little of mac and cheese, but it was very light in terms of the cheesy taste and the vegetables made the dish very refreshing. I only had one bite, but it was enough to make me wish I ordered that instead.

Bella’s salmon also looked very delicious, but I was too full to sample a bite. It looked very fresh and colorful. It also came with mashed potatoes and spinach.

I really enjoyed my meal at Katja. It felt very relaxed and private while dining at Katja, even though we were eating out. The food was also delicious. I had a great time catching up and celebrating with some old friends there. I’d definitely return here if I wanted to have a nice meal somewhere classy, yet low-key.

“Steigbügelhalter für unseriöse Internetunternehmen”

Die berüchtigte Abmahnanwältin Katja Günther ist zu Schadensersatz wegen Beihilfe zum Betrug verurteilt worden. Die Inkassogehilfin für Internetabzocker muss die Anwaltskosten eines ihrer Opfer zahlen.
Die Münchener Abmahnrechtsanwältin Katja Günther, die seit Jahren das Inkassogeschäft für Internetabzocker betreibt, ist zu Schadensersatz wegen Beihilfe zum Betrug verurteilt worden.
Das gab die Verbraucherzentrale Schleswig-Holstein bekannt.

“Es bleibt zu hoffen, dass dieses Urteil auch andere Rechtsanwälte abschrecken wird, die Steigbügelhalter für unseriöse Internetunternehmen zu spielen”,

so Boris Wita von der Verbraucherzentrale.

“Die Abschreckung wird dabei wohl aber nur über den Geldbeutel funktionieren”.

Günther verschickt massenweise Mahnschreiben, in denen teilweise zu Unrecht erhobene Entgelte von unseriösen Internetfirmen eingetrieben werden sollten.

“Zahlte der Adressat nicht, wurde mit gerichtlichen Schritten gedroht. Vereinzelt wurden sogar Mahnbescheide erlassen”,

so die Verbraucherschützer. Dass die Abmahnanwältin jemals ein Gerichtsverfahren zur Durchsetzung eines Mahnbescheides in die Wege geleitet hätte, sei jedoch nicht bekannt.

Auf das Konto von Günther seien mit der Masche dennoch täglich bis zu 20.000 Euro gelangt. Viele ahnungslose Internetnutzer hätten sich einschüchtern lassen und die Mahnungen der Rechtsanwältin beglichen, um sich weiteren Ärger zu ersparen, so die Stadtsparkasse München, die sich im Mai 2009 erfolgreich dagegen wehrte, für Günther ein Konto zu führen.

Bei der aktuellen Verurteilung stand die Anwältin selbst vor Gericht. Sie wurde vom Amtsgericht Karlsruhe wegen Beihilfe zum Betrug verurteilt und muss die Anwaltskosten eines ihrer Opfer zahlen. Der Betroffene war mit einer Rechtsschutzversicherung im Rücken gegen die Forderungen eines Internetabzockers vorgegangen, den Günther vertreten hatte.
Ein Sprecher der Verbraucherzentrale sagte Golem.de, das Urteil mit dem Aktenzeichen 9C93/09 sei rechtskräftig. “Die Richterin hat eine Berufung wegen der Dringlichkeit nicht zugelassen”, sagte er.

Nachtrag vom 6. Oktober 2009, 15:50 Uhr:
Das Urteil, das erst jetzt veröffentlicht wurde, fällte das Gericht in einem zivilrechtlichen Prozess. Der Vorwurf der Beihilfe zum Betrug sei jedoch ein strafrechtlicher Vorwurf, so der Sprecher. “Das Gericht hat festgestellt, dass eine Beihilfe zum Betrug vorliegt”, sagte er Golem.de. (asa)

Jeg glæder mig virkelig meget, og jeg har allerede sommerfulge i maven… Og så bliver det skøøøønt at se Katja, Tine og Pernille!

It was really funny because it was almost a sports lesson.  Had to perform a lot of contortions….

BUT the result is great. And worth 4 hours of painting/contortions/colour on my hands/…
