So episode 2 continued with Tao Hua’s little daydream. (Phew! Shi Lang was not suicidal after

So episode 2 continued with Tao Hua’s little daydream. (Phew! Shi Lang was not suicidal after all.) Tao Hua seriously gave us a heart attack with her imagination though. We almost thought that Shi Lang would be done for after that scene – IF someone got a hold of it – or captured it on camera like last time. Luckily, it was a false alarm.Yes, Tao Hua, please stop thinking those thoughts – at least for the time being.

Just as Tao Hua was occupied with her thoughts, her imaginations ran wild again since she managed to conjure up a scene of Shi Lang jogging by in his judo uniform! No, wait….it was actually real but her imagination was let loose too many times that she did not believe it was really him…until later. Too late!

Spying on Shi Lang? Okay, that was normal all right. Well, it was normal if you didn’t get caught. What to do in such situation? Why did he have to be so tall and threatening? (If only her brothers were around to get rid of him! How dared he question her whereabouts?) Oh no, false alarm again. He only looked threatening on the surface. He was actually a very nice guy. Phew! Too bad Shi Lang was not as lucky since he got distracted upon her presence and got slammed. Luckily it was only practice and not a real match or Shi Lang will have to find a place to hide.

Okay, so Tao Hua was not so lucky after all. I take that back about the threatening guy. He was actually quite cunning. How in the world could Tao Hua survive someone twice her size? (Time to close your eyes now so you wouldn’t see the gruesome match.) And I don’t know if Tao Hua should accept the other guy’s praise or not. He was setting her up for death. (Well, seems that way.)

Eh….Cheng Xiao Shi is reunited with Lei Long (Wu Zhen Ya)? He was actually having a big crush on her in Smile Pasta. Why was he so threatening now? Love turned into hate? (LOL…wrong drama, I know. Still funny to see them interacting once again.)

Some people must be very suicidal and want their funeral day to come even closer. How dared he stop Tao Hua? Honestly, they knew about her brothers after the match. So….let’s pray that they’ll stay in one piece later.

Where in the world were those threatening brothers when she needed them so badly to save her? No point in dodging the inevitable. However, it was a great chance for someone to play the hero saving the heroine! (So brave!)

Okay, he just got braver! Not a good idea! But…someone had to do it, right? He held her hand! (Hope no one lured around with his camera!) This is beginning to be a troublesome matter with worrying constantly for Shi Lang’s safety. Hopefully it won’t be too painful. He got real talents – unlike someone we seen in episode 1, right?

Can’t blame Shi Lang though, right? She looks so fragile. He has to protect her. (If only it wouldn’t mean that he needs to protect himself from her brothers later!) Ah…the risks he would take for his bravery.

Ooohhh….Tao Hua let it slipped! That was getting more exciting than I thought. Great time to argue too! Shi Lang questioning Tao Hua? Okay, that has got to be my favorite phrase so far, “Because I want to see you.” (Um…okay.)

Shi Lang was in no hurry to talk now? I suggest that Tao Hua not try to explain. It got even more confusing one after another. Time to flee! How embarrassing was that? And once again Shi Lang got to be the hero! (PHEW…) I’m now convinced that it’s very dangerous in Taiwan. (LOL) Or maybe people should watch where they’re going more, especially crossing the streets.

Must compliment that big bus for stopping so fast – but umm….felt so sorry for the other cars. Uh…Shi Lang, you’re supposed to get out of the street before scolding her, NOT during the accident. And it got a bit more realistic that the driver was scolding at them since that was one HUMONGOUS damage all right. We got another scene to witness – but have to hold our breath because Cheng might see them. (Ahhhhhhh….)

Love Cheng! It wasn’t him? We all knew it wasn’t him but wonder if the other person would believe it. Okay, so it was expected that Cheng saw them! But was it a good idea to get out of the car? Just chase after them! (But then why would I want to encourage Cheng to go after Shi Lang in that car, right?) History was about to repeat itself! Everyone, brace yourself! Emergency light going up again! I was silently pondering if they were worrying for Tao Hua’s well being or was more concerned about taking care of the ‘guy’ who Cheng saw with her. Oh…no….expected again! But did they had to call He? Last time I checked, He wanted to rip whoever it was apart the last time he learned of the previous confession. There was no confession taken place but Shi Lang was too close. Um….so false alarm. Of course. They did not know where Shi Lang resided at, right? Had to investigate the matter and extract some information first.

A little accident? (That was an under statement of under statements, Tao Hua.) Aww….a little bonding between the siblings. (Cheng is so sweet although he scolded her but he was just worried for her well being.) But…sweet moment got cut short. Qi was definitely all business, right? Of course. He had to get to the bottom of it. If I didn’t know better, I thought that he was holding it inside for such a long time already till they sorted the other matter out before asking of the ‘to be victim’. And he had to be funny at a time like that. Come on now, stop that bit in front of Tao Hua. Wouldn’t it be more useful if Zhuan used his talents for more important matters at hand? (Getting into the traffic camera to zoom on Shi Lang’s image?) I don’t know whether to be more afraid of Cheng’s bread stick or He’s pan. (Put those down, puh-lease, guys!)

On the other hand, Qi’s expression was priceless when he was so loving and caring when he said good night to Tao Hua and it turned into a ‘beyond livid’ look like seconds later. Finally, their little front was taken off after Tao Hua’s departure. Run, Yu Yi, run! Too late…he was too badly outnumbered. (The ‘not feeling good’ excuse only works for Tao Hua!)

They made it like some secret organization’s meeting to discuss top priority missions. And Yu Yi, you forgot your place again. Stay quiet so you could be spared of some ‘lessons’ since they were too busy focusing on Shi Lang now.

I guess Qi’s oldest and wisest title is still attached after all since he was the most observant in regard to Tao Hua’s behavior toward Shi Lang. Too bad Cheng and He were not able to carry out their threats sooner. Must be patient. Okay, WAY too exaggerated with treating this situation like some government threat. But still a bit of useful information regarding their past victims on the board.

So Yu Yi was in that to spy for Tao Hua? That was pretty cool then. And I thought they were too scared to take actions. But that did not mean they could come up with a plan to stop those crazy four, right?

Once again, we got another dose of somewhat called flashbacks of the past victims with Yu Yi being the narrator for it. So all the pieces have fallen into place for Tao Hua – after being in the dark for such a long time. I wondered what possess Yu Yi to be so brave to tell Tao Hua all of that. Possibly because the others were not around to bully him? (Too occupy with all their preparations for the next battle, right?)

So they managed to come up with a plan after all. The classic theme of the four Chen brothers came on again as they made their grand entrance at the match between Shi Lang and Tao Hua. Yes, Shi Lang got affected by their threatening presence too. (Ekkk…he lost his concentration!)

Reality check, don’t these guys have work? (Classes in Zhuan’s case.) Or were they too talented, too powerful to get in trouble for their absent at work (or classes)? (After all, maniacs aside, their talents were seen during the last episode.)

Back to the situation at hand, Shi Lang was in bigger trouble than anyone could have seen. He should have maintained his calm. Because his lost in concentration got him even more careless. Still…can’t help it. (It wasn’t his fault totally since he was supposed to be the victim here but the Chen brothers did not see it that way, did they?)

While Yu Yi held his breath and waited for the inevitable to occur, the Chen clan (plus Tao Hua’s best pal) sat nearby and stared in bewilderment. Okay, Shi Lang was done for. (IF it was cartoon, the Chen brothers’ eyes would’ve popped out by now.) Qi’s killer expression said it all. (Must give him some credit to still keep his cool and restrained He in time though.)

So Shi Lang’s fate was spared for a while as the scene zoomed to tell more about Shi Lang’s background. Phew! (Saved for the moment. Not for long though!) A tad refreshing to see that the main guy got along fine with his father – unlike some other dramas that kept implying the conflict between father and son and getting acceptance from the father. (Hopefully he’ll accept Tao Hua since he seems so laid back. But I guess we will have to wait for Shi Lang to survive the Chen clan first, right?)

On the other hand, Shi Lang, why are you robbing the old man a hug? (Come on!) So cute though!

And we were brought back to the situation at hand. It seemed like a commercial break since He was practicing his shooting skills with what else but Shi Lang’s picture?

So the Chen clan (excluding Yu Yi and Tao Hua of course) were back into their secret hideout to consult with each other. What now? I was not sure if I was more scared of their plan or their evil laugh at the end of the meeting.

Loved the Fahrenheit’s song “Very Quiet” (很安靜) playing in the back while Shi Lang and Tao Hua were reminiscing about the previous encounter and their feelings.

Cyndi finally got to do something exciting! Sleep walking or was she pretending? (Got to watch it since I won’t let you in on that one.) Anyway, luckily the others were fast or they’ve already been chopped to pieces. (Not so lucky for Yu Yi though! Poor dude, always becoming the victim of circumstances!) And more flashbacks of Yu Yi and Tao Hua when they were young. I love these black and white film feeling (though was not totally black and white since it was sort of brown-ish but still got the old film feeling). Oooohh….so that was why…

Already somewhat said it, but just love how the soundtrack is being applied for each situation in here. Just right.

Great, the day when the four maniacs had no clue of the next step. After all, they can’t just go after Shi Lang when they already learned of Tao Hua’s affection for Shi Lang, right? But they’re smart so they should come up with one soon?

Before the crazy Chen brothers could come up with more evil plots, Shi Lang already told Tao Hua not to come look for him anymore. (Sad moment and that song was not even helping.) That was a bit short lived as well since He was back with his threats again – to which the others did not seem all that enthusiastic about the plan anymore. Their precious Tao Hua was not eating again?

Must give the Chen brothers credit for it. Their creative imagination came into play again! How cute! More silent film moments! (LOL) And of course crazy, protective brothers’ moment to ruin it all!

Still love them – although they’re just crazy. Did they have to react so strongly since it was only their imagination at work, right? (Guess can’t contradict them.) Just when there was a tad of hope with them snapping out of it, Qi came up with a new plan! Their evil laugh sent chills down my spine every time. (They were that creepy.) Then I wonder again if they’re actually related to Yu Yi. (He must be adopted, right? They’re just too evil!)

And Yu Yi thought he could escape his fate when he fled from the scene? Tough luck! There were four pairs of eyes watching! He reacted too fast! LOL! Was he celebrating too fast? Genius? Okay. We’ll see.

Tao Hua surprised all her brothers by accepting their suggestion of going abroad for studying. While Qi and the others were arguing over it, they took her to the airport. Wasn’t that their grand idea of solving the problem? Why were they arguing now? So it was Qi’s idea? What was that about Cheng loving her more than the others? Um…okay, that went great.

The episode exited on Tao Hua’s change of mind in not leaving for England after all. The brothers were surprised once again of the change in attitude but was glad all the same that she did not want to leave anymore. Yes, bunch of weirdos all right. Still…couldn’t hate them though. So funny.

Ratings? Strangely though it has gained the second spot beating out one of its competitors for this episode, the rating has dropped from 1.95 to 1.48.

Okay, this is the second chunk of Momo Love, that I will be reviewing. I am taking a long time with

Okay, this is the second chunk of Momo Love, that I will be reviewing. I am taking a long time with my reviews because as you all know Christmas is getting very close and everyone and everything is very hectic, I still have presents to buy! I took some time out though to review this for you guys! So, enjoy..

As this drama carries on, you begin to notice just how sweet this drama is. Cyndi Wang (Momo/ Tao Hua) and Jiro Wang (Shi Lang) are actually working together very well. When Tao Hua really tries to contact Shi Lang (Ref Ep 4) through her MP3 player, I thought that was really heartwarming, but also how naive and just besotted she was when she stumbled with her words. Their conversations over the phone, they immediately lit up when they received a text from one another. They’re so funny when they’re together, they have the same personalities as eachother, the way they talk included. They’re both naive and cute characters, I can’t wait to see how this drama pans out.

The brothers, and the sister, are each way too over protective of eachother, they believe that their sibling is not fit for eachother, which I think is a bit cruel considering it should be those two who decide on that, as it is their life. Both younger siblings’ are being smothered with kindness. After just meeting Shi Lang’s older sister I can already notice she is a feminist and that she is just as over protective of her little brother as the brothers to Tao Hua are. A bit ironic really. Tao Hua’s brothers though, to follow her around, to prevent her from being happy is a bit ridiculous, but funny at the same time (Ref Ep 4). I do love how Chen Cheng and Xiao Xue are just like Shi Lang and Tao Hua; inexperienced in love. For Shi Lang and Tao Hua to get them together is actually really sweet. Though I forgot Yu Yi likes her, dear of him. Oh God, Chen Cheng and Xiao Xue are so funny like a bickering couple LOL (Ref Ep5). Why on earth do they have hairdryers in the toilets? Can someone please tell me? (Ref Ep 5).

I find the day that they spend together, really sweet. As they’re both inexperienced with love and have no idea about loves sincerity etc, and they are in a way teaching eachother. I think that their older siblings’ should respect this, rather than to follow them around, because Shi Lang and Tao Hua have to hide from the older siblings’ and even cheat them to even spend a day together. I’m amazed that when Chen Cheng is on his own he actually is quite honest and blunt with the truth, I have new found respect for him.

I hate obstacles like siblings’ because it makes it harder on the two because of their over protection. The sibling characters play these parts really well, yet I am actually beginning to get irritated by them. I hope that the siblings’ begin to realize the extent of their over protection. Finally! Qi Ge, is thinking about Tao Hua, and giving her some leverage! Hahaha, Shi Lang behind Xiao Xue and Cheng Ge, with bread and drink; nothing like a live show eyyy? (Ref Ep 5).

Wow, the brothers are actually trying to help the two, and maybe not in the most efficient way, but it’s a start. I think Yu Yi, has found someone he likes; Dong Hui Qi! Yet, I think his imagination scares me. I can’t stop laughing at the dance in the toilets; LOLOL (Ref Ep 5). I do feel kind of sorry for Tao Hua though, she really tries and that girl just steps on her feelings. Omg…Calvin enters, after five episodes! Yet, what an awkward moment (Ref Ep 5). I like how Cheng Ge straightens Shi Lang out though. If he’s never given out that photo before, how come she has one? I love her brothers though LOLOL. Oh dear, you can see the problem already between all the characters. Yu Yi’s daydreaming, is really beginning to freak me out. All the brothers are so easy and troublesome at the same time, and it’s so funny.

I don’t like the new girl, she’s really hurting Tao Hua, which I think is really cruel, considering Tao Hua and Shi Lang were really getting into some kind of relationship. I don’t think Shi Lang knows anything about Dong Hui Qi’s feelings, or he’s trying to ignore them, and she is a LIAR. I HATE HER. Poor Tao Hua. I don’t think Shi Lang knows anything about this so called ‘engagement’. Yeah, she really is a liar using really horrible tricks on everyone, and deceiving people. I really hate her and her ways, but being honest and blunt I must admire her for. Hui Qi, is definitely the spoilt brat in this drama. I think on the other hand, I’m going to like Calvin in this drama, which is the first time I’ve liked the other guy in a love competition

I just realized, if Hui Qi is trying to copy Tao Hua, because she has the fear of losing and ends up joining the judo club, Hui Qi is going to be having her ass kicked. Okay, Tao Hua kicks ass at judo, I think Hui Qi should start getting scared (Ref Ep 6). Oh I think I love Calvin! Though, you can tell he has a secret crush on Tao Hua already and is jealous of Shi Lang. Ahahaha, she owned him (Ref Ep 6). I think he will be capable, of buttering up the four brothers. I don’t understand, how is crush can develop to love in a matter of days? Then again this is a drama xD. Umm, I’ m beginning to wonder about Zhi Qiang’s sexuality. He pretends to be gay for help off the brothers?! Okay, this guy is definitely smart.

I’m getting more excited as I see the plot unravel before me, and I really hope that Tao Hua and Shi Lang can fight through it, no matter how much I may like Zhi Qiang, I love Tao Hua and Shi Lang!

Chapter 2 is now up. Read it and let me know what you guys think. Here’s an excerpt:

“I know that we might not have met under the best of circumstances,” he said hesitantly, “But when I met you that morning, I wanted to know you better. My heart wanted the chance to …,” Vanness’ voice trailed off into an embarrassed silence.

“What?” she asked in confusion.

“My heart wanted the possibility of a relationship. I wanted to see if that spark of interest I felt that morning could turn into something more, whether it could turn into love.” A flush appeared on his face as he said the words, but she could see he was serious about his feelings.

Starting out with a 1.95 would not be surprising since most of the dramas directed by Director Winni

Starting out with a 1.95 would not be surprising since most of the dramas directed by Director Winnie are quite slow paced but are supposed be building up with much depth – or was expected. However, that could not be said for this drama since it was quite fast pace considering the introductions of each major character to the story.

So what happened in the first episode?

Chen Yu Yi (Huang Jing Lun) was just fretting about his unfortunate fate of never experiencing when he caught someone confessing to his sister, Chen Tao Hua (Cyndi Wang).

After a quick snapshot of the incidental moment on his camera, he sent it straight to his brother – Chen Qi (Ken Zhu).

It appeared that Chen Qi was getting ready for his turn on TV with reporting the weather. However, he received a photo from his cell phone before going on. He rapidly and craftily rattled off the reports before leaving the set. We could see that he was racing down the street with much urgency. He definitely meant business and someone was in trouble.

The next scene zoomed to Chen Cheng (Lan Jun Tian) – who was overseeing an outdoor fashion show and was giving some directions to others. He was calm and collected as he directed others in the scene. However, his attitude changed completely upon receiving the same photograph that Chen Qi received earlier. Someone was in bigger trouble.

Next was the appearance of Chen Zhuan (Ding Chun Cheng). He was actually in class and was writing rapidly on the board with much focus on his face as the professor continued with the lecture. He was dubbed as the genius so he had to solve it correctly, right? Can’t lose the concentration. Then…just like the others, his attitude changed. Yes, that was it. The same ringtone. The same picture. The same hurried gestures followed as he abandoned the marker and ran out the door, not caring to stay and enjoy the hand claps. That was three. That someone had better run by now. If only that someone would know.

That was not all since the next one to come out was Chen He (Godfrey Gao). He was actually enjoying the attention from the crowd of screaming girls as he was skillfully doing his stunts on the water. Suddenly…his cell phone rang. Yes, same ringtone. Same picture. Once again. He did not care for the attention from his fangirls anymore. He abandoned his task just like the others and ran off. What was different about this brother was his temper. He was actually shouting out threats as he was riding on his motorcycle to his destination.

Okay, so that was all of them so that someone did not have to worry about the number increasing. But that was enough to bring him down, right?

What actually happened was when Yu Yi got out of class, he was heading home when he saw a red car zooming toward him. He tried to dodge but luckily that car stopped in front of him. Who else but his oldest brother? That was not all since the other three brothers were not far behind. They surrounded him and asked for that to be victim’s location. They did not take “Don’t know” for an answer because they soon found the guy in the incidental picture.

So someone did not do his research because he dared to show off in front of the Chen brothers. The result?

That would teach a lesson all right. And that was also the introduction of the crazy, protective brothers.

So after those entertaining scenes of the Chen brother getting rid of possible threats, we finally see our main couple meeting for the first time – where else but in the rain?

He just had some good intentions with handing her the umbrella. Let’s hope he won’t get run over by the Chen clan afterward. (After witnessing the previous scene, we all know he have some worrying to do if he dared to think otherwise but just help her in a time of need.)

Leave it up to Tao Hua for daydreaming at the most eventful moment. But it could not be helped, right? That was the nearest someone got to her without getting into trouble.

Apparently, not only were the Chen brothers crazy regarding driving out their sister’s suitors, but their impartiality for their sister was driven to the point that they treated their youngest brother no better than the guy next door. Understandable that they were protective of Tao Hua, but bullying their little brother? Luckily, Yu Yi still has Tao Hua to back him up on occasions. However, it would be hard to imagine what happened behind the scenes without Tao Hua around to keep the other four brothers in line.

Anyhow, was a bit interesting to see the Chen clan finally under the same roof after the long day.

I must admit that the flashbacks were nicely done with the clever touch of black and white films and its background music to recount of the Chen family in the earlier days when the siblings were all young.

Returning to its comedic side, how in the world did Qi not get fired with all his talks about ‘Tao Hua’ on TV? Honestly!

And poor Yu Yi had to resort to running away from home in order to get some peace from his brothers. But I could not help but felt a tad too funny that Yu Yi and Tao Hua made themselves at home at Shi Lang’s house just like that. Fortunately and coincidentally, Shi Lang and Tao Hua finally reunited after the previous day’s meeting.

How exaggerated could it get since the four brothers called for an emergency meeting just because they could not find Tao Hua? Still too funny. Poor Yu Yi got caught again.

Although that was so exaggerated and protective of the other four brothers of Tao Hua, but after seeing the flashback, it seemed reasonable that the others should favor Tao Hua over Yu Yi. They were saved with Tao Hua’s existence that they felt too strong a need to be protective of her. (Though Yu Yi did not deserve so much of bullying.)

Must also give credit to the four brothers for having such wild imaginations. Leave it up to them to imagine all the possible things that could happen to Tao Hua. (Tao Hua probably got the creative imagination from her brothers too – heavily influenced by them.)

The ending scene of this episode showed another encounter between Shi Lang and Tao Hua – but this time at school. However, was that her imagination at work again or was that Shi Lang for real?

Behind the scenes parts were really funny. Also, it showed everyone hard at work. Jia you, crew!

The words were like knives to her heart. Pace scrubbed the tears away, no longer willing to shed anymore for that piece of scum lying on that bed. Pulling off the ring, she let it fall to the floor. Turning, she made her way to the door. Behind her, the couple continued their activities, unaware of their midnight visitor.

Wish to See You / 這裡發現愛 / Zhe Li Fa Xian Ai is a Taiwanese drama which consists of 16 episodes.

This is the 6th time that Vic Zhou did a series with Ken Zhu.

Xu Le (許樂) is a bestselling author who never left home. He was recently struck with a case of writer’s block and decides to search for inspiration. So he decides to work as a taxi driver hoping that by listening to his passengers; he’ll be struck with some inspiration. Coincidentally, Xu Le meets his high school classmate, Ah Hao (阿豪), who is also a taxi driver. Xu Le has not seen Ah Hao for years. Ma Yong Rui (Xiao Ma – 小馬) is an heir to a five-star hotel and is also Xu Le’s and Ah Hao’s old classmate. Lu Yi (陸怡) is now a fashion magazine editor and she was the dream girl that they all wanted. Pan Neng Xian (潘能賢) is a 24 year old girl who recently graduated from college, who gets a job as a PR assistant in Yong Rui’s five-star hotel. –DramaWiki

The very first scene in the first episode is my fave.. Haha. Where Xu Le was writing his novel but can’t write anything because he has no inspiration (he’s so funny at it.!). This is the drama that made me realize that Vic is really a versatile actor.. Vic get to show his comedic side in this drama. He’s really good at it. I read that Kingone Wang’s character was first offered to Jerry Yan. Jerry didn’t get to play the role cuz he’s busy doing other drama at that time. I’m glad that they picked Kingone cuz he did really great. He’s the happy go lucky guy who eventually get the girl he wants. Vic and Michelle Chen look good together. I can still remember her character in Why Why Love which is kind of opposite in her character here. Ken Zhu did good, too but not that good.. Haha. He looks a bit tired and bored.. Hmmm..

The very first scene in the first episode is my fave.. Haha. Where Xu Le was writing his novel but can’t write anything because he has no inspiration (he’s so funny at it.!). This drama show some great scenic views of Taiwan. The soundtrack is great.! I’m aware of the JVKV songs which was used in this drama before I get to watch this and I’m so glad that they used the songs and this is where I heard the English version of their song Experience < Ti Yan>. The English verson is called Goodbye sang by L2M. Of course as with any other drama there were things that’s annoying but that’s truly inevitable. I loved how the plot is based on friendship but mixes in romance within it which creates originality because idol dramas are ALWAYS romance based. You grow to care for the characters, as they are all good people trying to succeed, but flawed so that they are tested along the way. It’s a really great drama. Worth watching.

L-O-V-E (Ai Dao Di/愛到底) is a 2009 Taiwanese romance movie which contains 4 short stories about, well you’re right.! The four-letter word LOVE.

Here’s the synopsis:

Determined to look after his girlfriend if he dies on the operating table, the terminally ill Van Fan searches for a man who has exactly the same voice as he has to take his place.
Blue Lan, a reticent music video director, re-encounters old flame Annie Liu and realizes a car accident has erased her memories of their love.
Movie stuntman Ethan Ruan dashes out the door after a lover’s spat with his flight attendant girlfriend, Alice Tzeng.
Plain homebody Tracy Chou turns to a fortune-teller for love advice, who tells her she’ll meet six guys sporting bangs with the last being Mr Right.

I’ve been wanting to watch this over the net. It’s a good thing I got a copy of the dvd. Lucky.! It’s a good thing the 4 stories aren’t all depressing. The first one is kind of sad, the second is kind of painful, the third one is happy in some way and the last one is refreshing. This movie reminds me of a Korean movie “Sad Movie”.. Four different stories and some what not really realated to each other. The four stories center themselves on different themes like death, memories, communication and destiny. For me, it was alright. There isn’t much thinking involved, and there aren’t many feelings for the protagonists either.

Starring: Van Fan Yi Chen, Megan Lai Ya Yan, Blue Lan Zheng Long, Annie Liu Xin You, Alan Ke You Lun, Tammy Chen Yi Rong, Alice Tzeng Kai Xuan, Ethan Ruan Jing Tian,Tracy Chou Cai Shi, Alec Su You Peng, Ken Zhu Xiao ,

I have decided I want to review a light and care free drama, a very romantic drama because I need something to relax with, I have therefore picked to review Momo Love, I will also review the new drama with Rainie Yang and Alan Luo in which is Hi, My Sweetheart. I will gradually finish the Easy Fortune, Happy Life reviews and get back to reviewing Black & White and Sound of Colours soon! I hope you enjoy!

Okay, since there are many characters in this drama, first I wrote down which characters there were also for my review readers to know who the characters drama names are and the actors names, if you don’t know already. Chen Tao Hua is played by Cyndi Wang, she is a popular girl and many boys obviously like her by the look of the start of the drama when the boy confesses to her. Yet, she is also protected by her FIVE brothers she has, what a house full!

Chen Qi is the first and eldest brother who is played by Ken Zhu, and by the looks of it he is a weatherman! Haha! He is protective of his sister. Chen Cheng is the second eldest brother who is played by Lan Jun Tian, I have not seen him in any dramas I don’t think, so I shall see his performance. In the drama he looks like a fashion designer to me but he is also very protective of his sister. Chen Zhuan is the third eldest, but he is also one of a twin, this character is played by Ding Chun Cheng, I have not seen him in any dramas either, but in this drama he is extremely clever and very protective of his sister. The fourth brother is Chen He, the twin of Chen Zhuan. He is played by Godfrey Gao, he is a sportsman the complete opposite to his twin. Like his four other brothers he is protective like the rest of them. They try to take down any men in pursuit of Chen Tao Hua, which I think is a bit childish really. The final and last brother is Yu Yi (Jing Wong) and his brothers don’t really take much notice of him, but Chen Tao Hua tries to involve him in a lot and sticks up for him as well so he doesn’t feel as invisible.

To me this drama is obviously, going to turn into a love triangle, and it’s obvious who is going to win and who is going to win the girls heart, and who is going to lose it. Jiro Wang is starring as Shi Lang, to be honest I really love Jiro’s acting and I’m quite happy to be watching another drama with him as a main character as I enjoyed watching his performance in ToGetHer and hopefully his acting will be as good if not better than ToGetHer. He has cut his hair!!! Very stylish..and yummy Cyndi Wang, I have seen before in Smiling Pasta, which is one of my all time favorite dramas and I do think her acting is very cute and shy, so hopefully this collaboration of Cyndi and Jiro will make some good chemistry!

Their first meeting by the bus stop did leave some kind of impression on me (ref ep 1) as they look straight at eachother with a meaningful gaze, so that shows me these two main characters will definitely have chemistry in the future, which is a very good start. Their awkward silences between eachother (ref ep 1 & 3) shows there is some underlying feelings between them which also gives the drama a very good starting advantage.

I feel sorry for Yu Yi as the ‘odd one’ who sort of got pushed out, is made to sacrifice, in the first episode his room and then he has to do all sorts of things to try and please his brothers, which he seems to never be able to do. He gets forced into a lot of things he really doesn’t want to do, and because the older four brothers seem to pair up he is the only one left out, but he shares a much closer relationship with Tao Hua by the looks of things, yet what he does in order to stop Tao Hua liking Shi Lang, and editing the photo (ref ep 2) is a bit far. The fact Tao Hua beats Shi Lang at judo is quite funny but it deja vu…how they kiss..it reminds me very much of Smiling Pasta (ref ep 2). I also find Chen Qi’s remark hilarious “It’s okay if you lose, big brother will help you get even.”

You can tell Tao Hua, begins to like Shi Lang, as over a series of scenes, she gets ever more curious about this mysterious Shi Lang, that in the drama we have much yet to learn. She starts to, see him in daydreams and sees his face everywhere which is a clear sign she’s starting to like him (ref ep 2) but we don’t get to see much of Shi Lang’s reaction except from when he isn’t angered by the accidental kiss instead he feels all ‘odd’ about it and around her. Tao Hua is so sheltered from love, but Cyndi makes it pure and cute. It’s sweet how all her brothers decide to help her out in love!

The brothers I don’t understand, they can obtain…photos, videos and information on all these people, and on Shi Lang and Tao Hua in seconds..which makes me think they’re like a brother mafia; its kind of over obsessive to how protective they are of Tao Hua. For example; the video of Shi Lang helping Tao Hua after she runs out into the traffic (ref ep 2) and he saves her; which is so cute may I add! I have also come to notice, that the family all have very vivid imaginations on things and jump too fast to conclusions which tends to land them all in silly situations. The acting from all of these brothers is very good, and I really enjoy watching the comedy that they put together, they all seem very close in general which helps the drama along as they are comfortable in eachothers presence.

The parents return (ref ep 3) and by the looks of it they seriously favor Tao Hua over the five boys. In a way I understand why her mum wanted a girl; at the time of having all those five boys she felt it impossible to have a girl and therefore she’d be lonely as the only female with no one to have a special daughter/mother bond with, unlike the father who has the opportunity to bond with all the five boys differently to the mother.

I look forward to the next episode; but I will be uploading reviews in chunks as always!

Hi you guys, I just wanted to let you know that I posted up Chapter 1 of Ken and Rainie’s stor

Hi you guys,

I just wanted to let you know that I posted up Chapter 1 of Ken and Rainie’s story, “Loving, Loving You”. I hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you all think.

So, I’ve been watching a couple of new and old Korean dramas.

One drama that I would highly recommend is You’re Beautiful, although I’ve only seen two subtitled episodes of it. The story is about a girl, who dresses up as a guy, and the comedy that ensues from all the misunderstandings. Also, it’s more cartoonish than realistic, so there is more slapstick comedy than serious bits so far. It’s cute, and I would suggest you all give it a try.

Finally, I’m also watching three older Korean dramas.

Surgeon Bong Dal Hee – a medical drama, as you’ve probably guessed. Not much you can do with medical dramas, but it’s still interesting enough to watch with the human drama involved.

On Air – a drama that has to do with a behind the scenes look at TV drama production, and much better than Hyun Bin/Song Hye Gyo’s The World We Live In. It has good acting, a steady pace, and interesting characters. It’s also by the writer/director team of City Hall/Lovers in Paris (two of my favorite dramas), so I’m more willing to give this one a chance.

Who Are You? – a comedy, where a ghost takes over the body of a person in a coma. So far, it’s bearable, but there’s nothing really special about it.

So far, On Air is the best of the three, but Surgeon Bong Dal Hee is not bad either.

I was listening to a Korean song called “Loving, Loving You.” It’s a beautiful song. Not only do I like how it sounds, but the lyrics are beautiful, as well. Of course, I don’t speak Korean, but the translation is, in itself, meaningful and kind of sad. The link to watch the song with English subtitles is:

While listening to the song, I was inspired to write this story. It stars Ken Zhu and Rainie Yang, with minor side characters. And of course, it’s a romance. I hope you all enjoy it.

Since we’re entering autumn and there are quite a few dramas airing, what are you looking forw

Since we’re entering autumn and there are quite a few dramas airing, what are you looking forward to? I think this is a really exciting season. At least for me, there are a lot of dramas that I find interesting and hopefully they won’t disappoint like in the past. Most of the dramas have been quite low profile so it might surprise us more than those that receive tons of promotions but failed in the end. So let’s hope the best for each.

Love Buffet – Fahrenheit and Sweety collaboration – sort of with some members involved. The funniest thing is most fans are supporting the QiaoLun pairing. Maybe it’s because they’re seen together more and how Calvin has to run back and forth between locations for this and Momo Love. This started out quite low profile but was later spotted and blogged by many fans. The production was very lively and even the manga creator was quite excited about it, even picking out Aaron for one of the main leads.

Momo Love – After the change of cast and a change of the script, the production team start anew with a new goal. Considering how Director Winnie works, this should be quite slow pace, however, it should be worth the wait. However, unlike the last production that someone decided to step in and butchered it, he had freedom this time to finish what he started. Not to mention, it is airing yet so plenty of time. Major cast in this one as well, leaning more on the guy side since there seemed to be only about 2 girls in here aka the leads, not counting others. Fahrenheit and Cyndi have been in quite a few ADs together (although it might be due to some manipulations of graphics) but still a familiar feel to some fans so hopefully there will be plenty of support for this one. Words have it that Ken Zhu has a hand in directing this drama so let’s look forward to his creativity side.

Next Station, Happiness – After all the change of cast, it was finally decided as a Van Ness and Ady collaboration. To be honest, I was having doubts of seeing Ming Dao with either Yoo Hana or Ady An since it felt wrong. (However, I would still support it if it was that way since I am fans of the three anyway so would see what happens.) Van Ness and Ady look more compatible to me and after seeing the trailers, it seemed like it would be an interesting pairing. (Who knows? I might end up liking Van Ness with Ady after watching this.)

River Lovers – A Leon and Genie collaboration. A very refreshing pairing. Not to mention Remus Kam is in it as well. (Hopefully he gets a notable role since it looks like he has a major role at the press conference.) It is neither a SETTV or GTV drama and have been very low profile to the point of non existence if it wasn’t for Leon, Genie, and some of the others from the production team updating us, we would not have much news. The press conference at the very beginning of the shoot was it. It has finally wrapped and it is just a matter of time before it airs.

Lucky Day – From my last post, it is very obvious that I’m waiting for this and it will be airing at the same time during the filming process. Hopefully, there won’t be some rush or other types of plot gap for this one as it happens with dramas that are airing while still in filming. A Wallace and Tammy collaboration. A technology slash sci-fi theme sounds promising all right. Let’s hope the plot delivers.

One word to sum up all these dramas – refreshing! Yes, full of new pairings so viewers might have a different feel instead of the same couple over and over. (But of course that would depend on taste as well.)

Those are on my list of must watch, which are on yours?

I must admit I loved the beginning of this story. It was way too hilarious with how the host (Alec Su) was trying too hard to act for his ’special appearance’.

It was just too much yet funny at the same time. (Lame but NOT that lame, lol.)

Anyway, the comedy was too exaggerated for my taste sometimes. They need to tone it down a bit. Making it so overwhelmingly ridiculous is not the way to go. I think what saved this one was the interesting guest stars that appeared throughout the story.

So Ah Ben was the 6th one! (NOT!) That was way too funny with the ending. But it was still lame and exaggerated. Can’t believe it! She ended up with the wrong one. Probably a mockery on the whole ‘fate’ thing.

The real Mr. Right:

I guess it was WAY obvious with the #6 residing on his name tag, but who knew, right?

So here’s a snapshot of the supposed six guys with bangs:

So the overall story was just all right. Not too bad. It was not the best either.

Oh, not to miss the special appearance of Ken Zhu either! So funny!

*Note*: This was the fourth story and part of the movie ‘L-O-V-E’.

This was not a single movie but a series of short stories surrounding the same theme. There were four stories in this saga.

The first one starred Van Fan, the second Blue and Annie, the third one Ethan and Alice (of course), and the last one was Tracy’s story.

San Sheng You Xing (三聲有幸) – Van Fan was trying to find a person who could protect his girlfriend if he did not make it out of the surgery room.

Hua Shan * 24 – (華山‧24) Blue and Annie met again after so many years but somehow she has lost her memory so she did not remember him. He must try to seek out the reason and work his way into her life again.

Xing Yun (幸運) – Ethan was a stutman while Alice was a flight attendant. They had an argument. She left because he was being unreasonable. He finally confronted his own self and tried to chase after her and get her to forgive him before it was too late.

Di Liu Hao Liu Hai (第六號瀏海) – Tracy was having bad luck with guys and she kept running around asking people “Why doesn’t anyone love me?” until one day a fortune-teller told her that she would encounter six guys and the sixth person would be her prince charming or Mr. Right. Searching desperately for each, she landed into the hands of fate, except it was of a twisted one.

I especially like the first one the most because it was really short and meaningful. It was really touching with the idea, especially the opening scene and then it finally unfolded into much more than just two people meeting each other out of nowhere and then doing goofy things together.

My second favorite must be of Blue and Annie’s story. Memory and the lost of memory has been done to the point of overkilled but this one was different in that it did not try too hard to be perfect. It was just how it was and let the flow take its way. Really nice story also. Tammy Chen’s special appearance in here was really cute as well.

The third one was meaingful in its own context but I didn’t like it too much because of how the storyline was. It was too short for the approach of that type of storyline. Still was not that bad though.

The last one was lame, corny, exaggerated, and beyond words. But I guess that was why it needed so many guest stars to cover the bases. It was great to see memebers of different bands collaborating together. Also Alec Su and Ken Zhu’s special appearance were very funny.

So, worth watching or not? Your choice really. I thought it was worth every cent of my money because the fact that they were smart enough to put the best storyline first and then the next one was the longest one among the stories but it was the correct one to include more details. There was also the thing with a lot of interesting guest appearances to move the story along if it was not all that, like the last story.
