<div>Olivia Overtone, St. Joseph Notre Dame girls basketball &#8212; The junior guard was a bright spot for the Pilots in 57-50 loss to Albany on Feb. 1. Coming off the bench, Overtone finished with a game-high 18 points.</div>

<div><span style="color:#ff0000;"><strong>Peeja Khorashadi</strong></span>, Albany boys soccer &#8211;<span style="color:#ff0000;"> Khorashadi</span> scored two goals, one in each half, to help the Cougars beat St. Patrick-St. Vincent 4-1 on Jan. 31.</div>

<div>Alex Kryzosiak, Berkeley girls soccer &#8212; The senior goalkeeper recorded only two saves in her team&#8217;s dominating 3-0 win at home over Alameda High on Feb. 5, but statistics don&#8217;t tell the whole story. Late in the second half, Krzyzosiak preserved the shutout when she raced out of her box to take a ball away from an Alameda attacker in a one-on-one situation.</div>

<div>Esther Leon, Berkeley girls soccer &#8212; Leon had three goals and one assist to help the Yellow Jackets beat Hercules 7-0. She also had a goal in a 3-0 win over Alameda.</div>

<div>Michela Isono, Head-Royce girls basketball &#8212; Afterward coach Mike Talps joked he wanted Isono to stay under the weather. That&#8217;s because while battling illness, Isono dropped 19 points and five steals on St. Elizabeth in a 45-42 victory Feb. 5.</div>

<div>Danielle Mauldin, St. Mary&#8217;s girls basketball &#8212; Mauldin scored 12 points with 17 rebounds and seven steals to help the Panthers beat Salesian 49-41 on Feb. 5.</div>

<div>Xermiaa Nichols, Skyline girls basketball &#8212; A find for the Titans, Nichols came off the bench to score 14 points and spark a 41-38 win over McClymonds on Feb. 1, keeping Skyline one game back of Castlemont.</div>
