But using social media for bringing awareness to missing persons is a very powerful tool to use in continuing your search for your loved one.  You should use various types of social media such as blogging, article marketing and podcasting but what I recommend is the use of video.

Produce a video using static shots/pictures in a slide show format.  Whether your on a PC or a MAC, there are native programs that can help you with this and you don’t have to buy outside software.  On a PC look for “Movie Maker” which is a Windows program.  If you’re on a MAC, look for iMovie.  Both of these programs have slide show “how to” – very easy.  Along with the pictures that you use in the slide show, add titles in the slide show with the persons name.  Once again, easily done in the video software.

When you are done producing your slideshow and you’re ready to upload it, I want you to open profiles on Metacafe, Viddler, YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion.  Once you have established your profiles, then start the upload process – but hang on…….

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE TASK

When you upload your video they will ask for a title, description and tags.  This is the most powerful part of using social media to gain heavy traction on search engines.  Please do the following exactly how I do -

• TITLE – “Missing (Person or Child), (Name), (City/Town), (Zip Code), (Date they went missing).  If you think that your missing person has something to do with foul play like spousal kidnapping, put the city, town and zip code where you suspect the missing person might be.  This include out of country (outside of the USA, add the country name also).
• DISCRIPTION - Here’s where you’ll put detailed info on what they were wearing, where they were seen last and circumstances of their disappearance.  Also include medical needs if it’s an elderly person or mentally challenged person.
• TAGS – missing person, (name), (last scene location), (City), amber alert, missing child, elderly, people lost, Alzheimer’s, mentally challenged, mental patient

Once you have uploaded your videos, go to your YouTube posting and share that throughout your social media sites that you have profiles on like Facebook, Twitter etc…..

Also, don’t forget to blog about your situation and embed or attach the video and add pictures.  Use the same title, description and tag method as I used above.

“THE SUFFERING OF LEFT BEHIND PARENT-CHILDREN AFTER DIVORCE”

At present, there is an intense debate within the media in Japan, Japanese Federation
of Bar Associations (Nichibenren), and Japanese government about whether Japan
should change current single custody system to joint custody system after divorce and
bring its Family Law to be consistent with international legal standards with respect to
joint custodial rights of children after divorce.

Contents of the conference are as follows:
1. The Japanese civil court deprives custody of children from one parent after
divorce without specific reason;
2. Domestic parental child abductions during the marriage before divorce;
3. Quite few visitation granted by Japanese civil courts to noncustodial parents; and
4. Presentation by left behind parents sharing their real life traumas with losing
all rights to their children after divorce and their children to share a meaningful life with them under the current Japanese system.

The following experts and left behind parents will contribute at the press conference, which is hosted by The Foreign Correspondents’ Club.

The image is of Las Madres y Abuelitas Sagradas para Los Desaparecidos: The blessed mothers and grandmothers of ‘the disappeared.’  They have gathered in the Plaza de Mayo … they who have fought for human rights and decency by relentlessly demanding justice for their children and and grandchildren, killed or “disappeared” (this means tortured, murdered and dumped over mountains or bulldozed into unmarked mass graves in the outback) during the junta dictatorships of Argentina that killed 30,000 people during the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Over 30 years later, continuing today, the Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo are additionally using DNA testing to reunite now adult “lost children,” with their blood families–  babies who were taken away from their parents and given to other families sanctioned by the dictatorship.

There are mothers, grandmothers, fathers and grandfathers, brothers and sisters and friends of ‘the disappeared’ active worldwide, wherever there has been a dictatorship, a killing war, a forced migration, slave labor, death camps, a vigilante militia, an ethnic cleansing, a move to socially ‘improve’ the poor by removing their children from them, where children and adults have been seized to be trafficked, or ‘harvested,’ taking their bodily organs against their wills for illegal organ transplants. Africa, Europe, North America, South American, Central America, Asia, Australia, Island Nations, all have souls continuing to seek ‘the disappeared.’

Let us pray: May they all live long and strong.

May we all ever stand in the danger of those who protect the souls of human beings. May we ever learn from them the fierce and the gentle ways of the soul.

Jayhan was featured in Look magazine

When Georgina Han and her daughter Jayhan first got in touch with us to tell us about their extraordinary story, we knew instantly that the newspapers and magazines would be keen to feature them. We were right and we have now sold their story to Look magazine, their third media deal in less than two months.

Georgina had snatched Jayhan back from the father who had abducted her when she was just five years old but their relationship proved difficult. At 18, Jayhan severed all contact with her mum but five years on, the pair have now reconciled.

We’ve been representing  Georgina and Jayhan since late last year and have already secured them coverage in the Daily Mail and Best magazine.

The pair also gearing up for a meeting with a well known true-life book publisher to explore the possibility of writing  a book about their experiences.

Georgina and Jayhan were featured on the cover of Best magazine

We recently told you about Georgina Han’s true life story of snatching her daughter Jayhan back from her estranged partner in 1993.

After Talk to the Press sold her story to the Daily Mail, we secured Georgina and daughter Jayhan a deal with Best magazine. The piece appears in the 19 January issue and is mentioned on the cover. Check it out!

Later this month, Georgina and Jayhan are meeting with a well known book publishers to discuss a potential book deal. We are always aim to get our clients the most publicity possible. Getting a book deal is notoriously difficult, but a meeting with a big publishers is a great start.

Georgina Han thought she was doing the best thing for her five year old daughter Jayhan when she snatched her back from the father who had abducted her. But as she grew up, Jayhan began to resent her mother and at age 18, severed all contact with her.

But two months ago Jayhan, who is now 23, got back in contact with her mum. The pair contacted Talk to the Press, wanting to share their story and raise awareness of the problems families who go through such a traumatic experience face.

We sold their story to the Daily Mail and on Wednesday, the pair visted the paper’s London office to have their photograph taken. Yesterday, their story hit newsstands across the country.

Georgina is keen to write a book documenting her experience and also wants to set up a refuge for other parents and children going through similar circumstances.

Kayoko Yamada: Her husband is Czechoslovakian and their son Kevin who is 5 years old . He abducted her son from Japan to somewhere on August 23. He said that we were going to buy toy. And they never come back. Her husband phoned her ” we are in Germany”. Then they are still missing.
We will do signature-collecting campaign to save Kevin.

The second event

We will sing Christmas song for our children.
I prepare Santa clause and reindeer clothes.　For passer by in the street, we make balloons, give them and sing Christmas songs for our children.
Christmas comes only once a year and parents want to fulfill their children’s wishes for this special occasion,
