Pues como el titulo dice la serie de Killzone cumple 5 años y Guerrilla quiere que festejes con ellos, así que este fin de semana será brutal ya que proporcionara el doble de experiencia, si como lo escuchas el doble de experiencia y por si no fuera poco también serán rebajados lo mapas Flash & Thunder a un precio de $2.99 dólares el pack y el paquete completo con los 3 packs de mapas solo costara $9.99 dólares así que si no tuviste la oportunidad de comprarlos creo que esta es la ocasión y con esto les puedo decir que será una oportunidad muy grande de comprar los mapas así que me voy a apuntar y pues quien más se apunta para echar las retas con doble experiencia.

Guerilla Studios amazed us with Killzone 2 and we’ve been anticipating an announcement for the third game for quite awhile. According to an article from Connected Consoles, an employee from the game studio states Killzone 3 is in development and could be out by 2011, maybe even late 2010. Hopefully this title won’t take forever to hit the store racks like it’s counterpart.

De momento solo es un rumor, pero ha filtrado esta madruga una información relevante sobre un nuevo Killzone en “avanzado estado de desarrollo”. El rumor se ha conocido en las páginas de Official PlayStation Magazine en Reino Unido, que ha introducido Killzone 3 en un reportaje de “Los Juegos Secretos para 2010”. En el listado también aparecen Resistance 3 y Call of Duty: World at War 2.

Hasta ahora Sony no ha comentado nada al respecto, a pesar de haber sido preguntada por ello. Habrá que esperar para entender que significa el silencio de Sony.

Critter Crunch llego a la PSN . . . e incluso tenemos hasta bolas tematicas con MGS, Killzone, Patapon, Okami, Sack y hasta Kratos. Te gustan.

As I see it, I can only make a review after I have finished a game…sooo here comes Killzone part 2 straight from my clampy hands. I must admit that I didn’t have the chance to play the first part that came out for PS2. The guys from guerrilla games have been working on the title since 2006, so I think they were somehow motivated by the first installment, since it took them 3 good years to develop the sequel. Let’s see if it really pays off…Killzone 2’s story is a simple one: Humanity has decided to strike back at the Helghast by invading their home planet Helghan. You’re well aware that this is a videogame, but at times, the tension and excitement can make you forget. You’ll play Killzone 2 slightly more alert than any other shooter, and that could also be a testament to the game’s fantastic A.I., which is always working together and always keeping their eyes peeled for any surprise attacks. The action is constantly pushing forward, leading you from one quality scripted event to the next and pitting you against bright AI opponents that have a remarkable grasp of battlefield tactics. Helghast will flank you and shoot blindly from behind cover, and should you toss a grenade in their direction, they’ll quickly scatter. I looove that kind of behavior…putting you in different situations, letting you adapt in order to survive.

Once you get out of the main city, things really take off as you find yourself moving from one fantastically designed set piece to another. One of my favorite sequences takes you through a gigantic factory, where you have to hitch a ride on the machinery while wielding the most powerful weapon in the game, the lightning gun. It’s incredibly satisfying to watch the lightning arc from one trembling enemy to the next sucker. I finished the game on normal difficulty and even tried the veteran option which seems harder, with more enemies to crush and missing  crosshair.

The characters, much like the environments, have also been given a shot of life, with eyes that don’t make them look like zombies, textures that are sharper, and overall detail that makes Killzone 2 one of the best looking games around. The six axis motion sensor is used in order to plant explosives, stabilize the sniper rifle (though the implementation here is subtle and therefore relatively harmless) and rotate some valves, which is not much but is still something

The cutscenes are top-notch, the story isn’t deep or involving–it’s just there, neither enhancing nor diminishing Killzone 2’s action. This leads to the multiplayer part, a fun and competitive extravaganza that issues a constant stream of benefits. The team-based gameplay itself is outstanding, which serves as reason enough to stick with Killzone 2. The modes themselves offer few surprises, what with variants on Team Deathmatch (Bodycount), Conquest (Capture and Hold), and Capture the Flag (Search and Retrieve), among others.

Best in-game experience: fighting a ATAC unit & controlling the Exoskeleton mech vehicle.

Worst in-game thing: using your handgun & limited gameplay for your lightning gun.

So this leads to an 9/10

Hace varios días por fin pude terminar uno de los juegos que más me han enganchado ultimamente. Me queda el modo “online” y se que voy a tener para largo…..
Desde el principio me gustaba y atraía mucho toda la ambientación, gráficos y escenarios del juego, pero de un modo muy especial, centraba mi atención en los detalles de los personajes y elementos que iban apareciendo en diferentes escenas conforme avanzaba en el modo campaña. Uno de esos detalles, eran los “hellgast” (los malos del juego según algunos jugadores…). Los detalles de la uniformidad, el armamento y sobre todo los ojos, hizo que me planteara el poder recrearlos a tamaño de 33cms. Durante varias semanas fui recopliando detalles, dibujos, imágenes, en definitiva todos los bocetos posibles a la hora de empezar a desarrollar las figuras que os muestro aqui. Espero que os gusten.

PS3 fans!  It’s here and VideoJoker has it in.  The new sleek 33 percent less weighted PS3 is out.  Before buying it I was a little bit skeptical.  I had heard a few bad things but some really cool things like the 120Gb memory, which we will get into later.

First off.  Externally the PS3 is similar to its previous models, but also nothing shocking.  The old PS3 was obviously larger.  The older PS3 also had a Piano Black finish, as the new one has a Matte Black, which is a more rough texture.  One thing that I noticed in my first 5 minutes of hold it was that it doesn’t smudge.  There are some things the new PS3 does not have that was featured in the previous models.  For example the hard shut off switch in the back is not featured in the Slim.  This PS3 only has 2 USB ports which isn’t a big deal to me and several other gamers.  Another noticable difference is the buttons in the from, and mainly the whole front.  There is no compartment to put in SD cards, or any other memory/picture stick.  The finger sensitive eject and power buttons are also gone.

You now have to press down on buttons.  That is basically the run down externally.

Internally the PS3 is a whole new type of monster holding 120GB of space, and with the price cut it’s barely passable.  The only main difference that is across my attention is the backwards compatibility.  It isn’t there any more.  You can not play PS2 or PS games on the Slim system.  Other than that nothing to be shocked over.

Why get it?  I will tell you why.  The PS3 was first known for the high price, and people always commented on why not get a XBox or a Wii for the cheaper price.  But now people sound stupid mentioning that, for a PS3 system, built in Blue-ray, DVD, and music/video player, the PS3 can not be passed up by this price.  Yes the XBox Elite got a price cut too, but big whoop, now that they are the same price might as well get the better sytem…PS3

Hope this helped I would give this System a 10/1o, compared to the old PS3 (I also own) there isn’t any shocking difference, all the Pros out rule the Cons.

Too often I come across Facebook status updates proclaiming that the status-updatee is bored. And let me just say that by “too often” I would lay out the standard as my coming across any at all.

Why in the world would anyone allow themselves, given the infinite possibilities for activity around us at any moment, to be bored? Please don’t think I am having a go, no,no, not at all: I just think it’s such shame.

Sadly it seems I need to count myself fortunate indeed that I cannot for the life of me remember the last time I was bored, nor can I envisage any time in the future, lest I am manhandled into a totally empty room with no windows, strapped to a chair and left there for a week, where I might be. That said, even that might be interesting because a) It has never happened to me  before and it would be amusing, perhaps, to see what it was like and b) I could mentally time how long it took before I was actually bored, which might in fact preclude me from ever actually becoming so.

The thing is, I just love so much stuff: Novels, music, quality US TV Dramas, magazines, podcasts, films, playing the piano, thinking up ideas for a bestselling novel, Tweets, Stephen Fry’s miniblogs, Apple rumor websites, eating out with Mrs W, concerts, Killzone 2, Tour of Duty 4, walking round a bookshop, browsing Amazon.co.uk, browsing Amazon.com, new iphone apps, status updates, taking photos, teasing the cats with a laser pointer, I could go on and on.

Some may say it’s all well and good enjoying all these things when you earn a decent wage etc etc. But so many of these things can be accessed for free or damn close to free, so don’t be giving me that one. In fact, just writing this missive is quite fun, which is of course why I do it. I can’t know for sure if anyone is actually going to read it (although a gratifying number of people appear to have read it’s predecessors) but the simple act of thinking it up and picking it out on a keyboard is engaging in itself.

So there you go. Next time you feel you might be getting bored, feel free to write a status update about it. Just make sure you write it in a really interesting way.

I got to say.  This game was surprisingly good.  The storyline is much better if you have played the previous Killzone title, which I have not.  This game is a FPS (First Person Shooter).  And is rated M for Mature.  Anyways, on with the review.

Storyline:  The storyline of the game was a little clouded for me, since I haven’t played the previous Killzone.  I do know that you play as a different character than the first game.  You play as Sven, an ISA soldier.  The storyline of the game it self is not complicated.  But when you go back to the Helghast (enemy) group, and you haven’t played the first Killzone, you will be lost.  But don’t worry the game is still very enjoyable.

Controls:  Before I picked this game up I noticed that the reviews suggested the game had complicated and un-comfortable controls.  I disagree.  The controls are similar to other games, but the aim.  To aim in the sights of your gun, you want to click R3 and you don’t need to hold it.  Other than that, the controls are similar to other FPS games on the market.

Online:  This game does have an online function, and a good one.  There are different modes and a rank-up system.  Playing the online will unlock guns, classes, perks, and more.  Each class has a good reason to be made and if you have one of each class in a game you have a high chance to succeed.

Overall:  I like this game and would give it a 10/10.  Graphics are great, and better with a HD.  If you are like me and want a storyline game, this may not be for you.  Luckily I like online and storyline, so if there was no online I would probably give this game 8/10, but the online saved it.

اني (( للأسف )) تفلسفت واخترت أصعب صعوبة متاحه في بداية اللعب .. لأنهم كاتبين انه هذا الطور مناسب للمحترفين .. وانا تحمست ^_^”
بس الحمدلله بشكل عام ماكانت صعبه .. بس في المعركة الأخيره جلست فيها 5 أيام !

Killing Spree – Kill 5 Helghast in 15 seconds
Mata a 5 Helghast en 15 segundos estando de pie y con al menos un 85% de vida. Lo mas facil es hacerlo en Recluta, se puede conseguir en practicamente todos los niveles, yo lo conseguí en Blood Meridian en el checkpoint Verudan Alley como muestra el video siguiente. Bullet Counter – Manually reload 150 times
Recarga tu arma de forma manual 150 veces. Muy facil, simplemente cuando uno vea que nos quedan pocas balas no hay que gastar el cargador (de esta manera se recargara automaticamente) hay que recargar manualmente con . Se debería conseguir mas o menos antes de la mitad del juego.

Safety First – Shoot off 100 helmets
Dispara a 100 cascos Helghast. Simplemente dispara a los cascos de los enemigos, el trofeo no es matar de un tiro a la cabeza, simplemente es volarle el casco a los enemigos con un disparo. Yo lo conseguí en la primer vez que gane el juego, es simplemente una cuestión de puntería.

Berserker – Kill 25 Helghast with melee attacks
Mata a 25 Helghast usando ataques melee. Muy facil, simplemente acercate a un enemigo y mátalo con un ataque melee, asi hasta conseguir las 25 muertes.

Barrel of Death – Kill 3 Helghast using your environment
Mata a 3 Helghast de una vez usando elementos del escenario. Cuando veas que hay 3 helghast cerca de un barril, por ejemplo, disparale al barril para que explote y mate a los 3 helghast. Professional – 3 revolver headshots in a row
Consigue 3 disparos en la cabeza usando el mismo cargador de la M4. Mas difícil de lo que parece, hay que conseguir 3 headshots con el mismo cargador del revolver M4, eso quiere decir que uno no tiene que recargar entre los headshots. Uno puede fallar un tiro, es decir, hacer un headshot, fallar un tiro (es decir no pegarle al enemigo) y luego hacer los 2 otros headshots, pero si el tiro le pega en el cuerpo al enemigo hay que hacer todo de vuelta.Yo lo consegui en Blood Meridian en el checkpoint Verudan Alley como muestra el video siguiente http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSSz_…DDE560&index=7

Fragmerchant – Kill 5 Helghast using a single grenade
Mata a 5 Helghast de una vez usando una granada de fragmentación. El mejor nivel para conseguirlo es The Cruiser . Practicamente al principio del nivel, 5 helghast romperan una pared y saldrán, ESE es el mejor momento para este trofeo, simplemente acercate y tira la granada. NOTA: Este trofeo se puede conseguir al mismo tiempo que el trofeo: Fragmartyr. Cuando los helghast salgan de la parde acercate y deja la granada cargando en la mano y deja que explote, así mataras los 5 y también conseguiras el otro trofeo por matar 2 y suicidarte con la granada. Fragmartyr – Kill 2 Helghast whilst taking your own life
Mata a 2 Helghast con una granada de fragmentación y acaba con tu vida al mismo tiempo. Se puede conseguir practicamente en cualquier nivel, cuando veas 2 helghast juntos, carga un granada y acercate sin soltarla. NOTA: como dije arriba este trofeo se puede conseguir al mismo tiempo que el trofeo Fragmerchant, en el nivel The Cruiser, al principio (como indica el video de arriba) , cuando los 5 helgast rompan y salgan de la pared acercate y deja la granada cargando en la mano y deja que explote , asi mataras los 5 conseguiras el trofeo Fragmerchant y tambien conseguirtas el trofeo Fragmartyr por matar 2 y suicidarte con la granada.

Melonpopper – 15 headshots using the sniper rifle
Consigue 15 disparos a la cabeza usando el rifle de francotirador VC32. Alguno de los niveles en los que aparece el rifle de francotirador son: Visari Square, Salamun Bridge, Suljeva Village. Al tenerlo apunta bien y dales a la cabeza.

Blade Runner – 75 kills with the knife
Mata a 75 Helghast usando el cuchillo. Lo mas facil es en Recluta. Simplemente saca el cuchillo y corre hasta el enemigo y matalo, asi hasta conseguir las 75 muertes.

Run and Gunner – Kill 3 Helghast with one burst of assault rifle fire
Mata a 3 Helghast usando la M82 o la StA52 sin quitar el dedo del gatillo. Tienes que matar a 3 helghast con la M82 o la Sta52 SIN solar el gatillo. Yo lo consegui en Blood Meridian exactamente en el checkpoint Verudan Alley (cuando salen los helghast con cuchillo) me puse a disparar contra los helghast y mate 3 sin soltar el gatillo. Mata a 30 Helghast usando la StA3. Simplemente mata 30 Helghast con la Sta3 (la torreta). Uno de los niveles mas facil para hacerlo es Visari Square cuando empiezan a venir Helgast y luego 2 pesados.

Gana 50 partidas Online. Simplemente jugar, jugar y jugar hasta ganar las 50 partidas. Si uno trata de conseguir todos los trofeos del online, este trofeo deberia conseguirse rapidamente.

Alcanza el rango Online #2. Para conseguir el trofeo hay que estar entre los 6% mejores de la semana. Segun Killzone.com la semana pasada jugaron aproximadamente 280000 jugadores al online (Aunque el numero es relativo ya que pude ser que cada vez haya muchos mas jugadores de una semana a otra), en ese caso habria que quedar entre los 16800 mejores jugadores.

Segun Killzone.com la semana pasada jugaron aproximadamente 280000 jugadores al online (Aunque el numero es relativo ya que pude ser que cada vez haya muchos mas jugadores de una semana a otra), en ese caso habria que quedar entre los 28000 mejores jugadores.

Mata al ArcTrooper de Tharsis Refinery en menos de 1 minuto 30 segundos. Muy facil, simplemente apenas aparezca corre y dispara al contenedor que cuelga para que le caiga encima, luego ponte atras de el y disparale a los tanques, si no lo matas en la primera vez repite el proceso, deberias matarlo en menos de 1 minuto. Giantslayer – Kill the Heavy within 1 minute

Dragonslayer – Destroy the ATAC within 1 minute 30 seconds
Destruye el ATAC de Salamun Bridge en menos de 1 minuto 30 segundos. Hay que ser rapido y no fallar ningun disparo del lanzacohetes, ya que si fallamos por lo menos 1 tiro no alcanza el tiempo. Apenas empieza agarra el lanzacohetes baja las escaleras y metete en la “cueva” cuando el atac se acerque disparale a los reactores azul y luego al atac, en dificultad Recluta requiere pegarle 3 tiros del lanzacohetes.Aqui un video que muestra como matarlo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsI4I…DDE560&index=4

Demonslayer – Kill Radec within 20 minutes
Mata a Radec en Visari Palace en 20 minutos. El mayor lugar en el que la gente tiene problemas es cuando hay que enfrentar a radec mismo, luego de matar a todos los helgast, lo que hay que hacer es ir al piso de abajo y girar continuamente la camara, una vez que lo veamos acercarse a nosotros le disparamos sin para, y asi rapidamente. Stick Around – Nail 20 Helghast to the wall
Clava a 20 Helghast en una pared usando la VC-21. La VC-21 aparece por primera vez en Suljeva Village en el checkpoint Maintenance Office. Hay que clavar a 20 helghast contra la pared, asi que cuando uno tenga una pared atras disparale.

Master Conductor – Electrocute 3 Helghast
Electrocuta a 3 Helghast con un solo disparo de la VC5. La VC5 aparece solo en Tharsis Refinery, es el arma que deja el ArcTrooper al morir, asi que una vez que lo mates agarrala y quedatela. Lo bueno del arma que no se te acaban las balas. El mejor momento para conseguir el trofeo es mas adelante en el nivel (exactamente en el checkpoint Central Observatory, pero tengan en cuenta que si uno carga desde el checkpoint no aparecera con la VC5, hay que matar al ArcTrooper y guardarla) El siguiente video muestra exactamente como conseguir el trofeo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpYmW…DDE560&index=6

Can Opener – Destroy a Helghast APC
Destruye un APC Helghast. Los APC son los tanques Helghast, uno de los niveles en el que se puede conseguir el trofeo es en Maelstra Barrens en un momento donde hay que destruir un APC si o si.

Spare Parts – Destroy all Leech Pods
Destruye todos los Leech Pods en The Cruiser. Los Leech Pods, o sanguijuelas en español son las naves que hay que destruir en The Cruiser cuando agarramos el cañon. Para conseguir el trofeo simplemente hay que disparar 1 misil (L1) por nave, hay que asegurarse que la mira se ponga roja y ahi disparamos el misil, si disparamos mas de 1 misil por nave hay que volver a empezar ya que el cañon cuenta con 1 misil por nave que hay que destruir. Treadhead – Kill 30 Helghast whilst in the tank
Mata a 30 Helghast usando el tanque ISA. El nivel para conseguirlo es Corinth River, practiamente al final usamos un tanque ISA. Asegurate de matar a todos los Helghast posibles con el tanque. La primera vez no alcanzaremos a matar a los 30 pero a la segunda deberiamos llegar.

Mechspert – Stomp 10 Helghast
Pisa a 10 Helghast usando el Exoesqueleto en Maelstra Barrens. En Maelstra Barrens usamos el Exoesqueleto, en vez de disparar y matar a los enemigos debemos caminar sobre ellos para aplastarlos y matarlos. Untouchable
Completa todas las misiones en cualquier nivel de dificultad sin morir. A muchos por ahi les parecera dificil pero no lo es. Lo que yo hice y recomiendo es si estamos ganando el juego por primera vez, cada vez que morimos pulsemos start y volvamos al menu principal y luego volver a la campaña, de esta manera aparecemos desde el ultimo guardado y no nos cuenta la muerte. Para los que ya ganaron el juego no tienen que volver a ganarlo todo, simplemente en ” Seleccionar Mision” podemos elegir los checkpoints del nivel y ver cuantas veces morimos, entonces el truco es jugar nada mas las partes en las que morimos de vuelta sin morir.

Completa todas las misiones en dificultad Elite. La dificultad Elite se desbloquea al ganar el juego en cualquier dificultad. Lo mas recomendable para la dificultad Elite es simpre que sea necesario cubrirse, usar bien las granadas y las armas. Es solo jugar, jugar y jugar hasta lograr superar todas las misiones en dificultad Elite. La parte mas problematica es la batalla final contra Radec. Aqui un aporte de Skorpia de como superarlo:

Career Ribbon
Alcanza el rango Online de General. Simplemente jugar y jugar. El rango de general se alcanza a los 2800 puntos. Recuerda que si ganas la partida tus puntos se multiplican por 1.5.
