They have waited a long time. When DSP Media, the company who created Sechskies, Finkl, and SS501, announced that they’re creating a new girl group, many fans were very excited. At first, it seemed as if the group would debut right away, but later on, there was no signs of when they would debut.

Rainbow has finally debut 1 year later than they expected with their mini album ‘Gossip Girl’. Leader Kim Jaekyung (21) and No Eul (20) had been training for 4 years.

“They kept on telling us that we would debut soon, but I started to get worried as the time went by.” said Kim Jaekyung. “After our first performance it actually felt like as we debuted. I was very nervous the day before the debut. Thinking about what I had gone through over the years made me laugh and cry at the same time.”

Getting 3 years of training, Jung Yoonhye (19) said, “I was very nervous when we were having our first recording. And my friends texted me asking ‘Are you really debuting!?!’, I couldn’t believe it either! That I was finally going to debut!”

The name Rainbow was made by the fans who were waiting for them to debut ever since they were trainees. After hearing the rumor that it was going to be a girl group with 7 members, the fans started to call them Rainbow, and it led up to becoming their group name. This name was approved by SS501’s Kim Kyu Jong.

“Kyu Jong sunbae said ‘SS501′ was a hard name and it gave some confusion. So he wanted us to have a simple name, so that’s how we ended up with the group name Rainbow.” explained the members.

Like the 7 colors of a rainbow, each member has a different personality.

The leader Kim Jaekyung, currently studying clothing design at Dongduk all girl college, dreamt of being a singer ever since middle school. Before, she couldn’t dance very well so she signed up for a dance class which led up to her meeting Lee Hyori’s dance team. Through them she has gotten a chance to talk to DSP Media. “When I first came to meet them I thought I was going to join Kara but they told me there was going to be a new girl group so I waited, and the wait eventually became 4 years.” said Kim Jaekyung.

Go WooRi (21) has joined the group 7 months ago. She is currently studying about life dance at Korea CheoDae College. “I go to the same church as MBC’s Infinity Challenge director, Kim Tae Hee. And through Kim Tae Hee unnie I was able to get into DSP Media” said Woori.

Maknae Jo Hyunyoung (19) is a senior at Shingyuang All girls highschool. She has gotten into the group with 1 year of training. “The night before our debut, I couldn’t sleep at all! It still feels like a dream!” she said *showing the down to earth side of her.

Studying to become a entertainer at the Dongduk All Girls College, Jung Yoonhye went on a diet because of the debut. She told us that we has lost 20kg (**44 pounds) because of the diet. “Later on, I might show a picture of me when I was young, that weighed 20kg more than I weight now. Although I’m nervous, my number one priorty is to make our group well known” she said.

“When I was young, my parents like classic music. When I told them that I wanted to become a singer, they were really against it. They said cruel things like I was too fat to be a singer so that’s why I started on my diet.” said Jung Yoonhye.

Kim JiSook (19), is the member who’s most obsessed with music. When she was in high school she started a rock band and at Soowon’s composite art competition they won 1st place. She still showed alot of obession with music even after changing school to Hanyang All Girls College. At the music class she attended to, when she was in high school, she met Kara’s ex member Sunghee and that’s how she became a part of Rainbow.

No Eul was a SS501 fan then she became a singer. After chasing after SS501, at 2005 she met a DSP Media manager and became their traniee. Being Kim Hyunjoong’s fan, No Eul said “It was hard to believe that I was working for the same company as SS501. But after practicing for a while that feeling went away.” Since she was busy working for them, it blocked her from switching schools.

Studying about movie making at SangMyung College, Oh SeungA (21) has been a trainee for 2 years. The dream of being a singer grew starting from elementry school after winning 1st place in a singing contest. During highschool, she was on stage for a play which made her want to have a job that draws people to herself. Finally she auditioned for DSP Media and came in. She auditioned at the same time as Kara’s Gu Hara and Kang Jiyoung,

Rainbow is recieving whole hearted support from SS501. “Kim Hyunjoong bought us chicken and Park Jungmin created the song Kiss for us. Kim Hyung Joon, Kim Kyu Jong, and Heo Young Saeng helped us with our dance moves.” the members said with a smile.

The anticipated group Rainbow has debuted. This is the first step of becoming the group that will still be well known after 10 years, showing 1 characteristic as a whole group instead of 7 different ones, being a bright and cheerful group, and a group showing alot of humanism.

For some reason, the English subbing of IRIS was really slow for some time — episode 11 was subbed one week (ONE WEEK) after episode 10 was subbed. For my sister and me, that is a LONG time, so we tried watching more mellow-ish dramas like “Creating Destiny”, “Smile, You”, “Temptation of Angel”, and a really interesting variety-type show, “Idol Army: Season 3 (2PM)”. Out of all of those, I’d recommend Idol Army because these kinds of variety shows are cool because we don’t always see them. (Also, it was cool because 2PM was there!) However, it was only 17 episodes (yes, only — eunii can watch up to 5 hour-long episodes of Korean TV Programs in a day!). Right now, IRIS has been subbed really quickly, so we haven’t quite finished, but we’re on episode 15 of Idol Army.

Anyways, IRIS episodes 13 and 14 are out! I think that episode 15 aired on Wednesday, so it should be out and subbed (soon?). Email us at wannabefob@yahoo.com or drop us a comment if you’d like the links!

And oh boy, does it get intense..well it does with every episode. xD But on this episode, they finally meet again. If you’re watching IRIS, you know who “they” are. They meet, and then the episode is over. I really shouldn’t be watching dramas this week because I have so much school stuff ahead of me, but I can’t help it when it comes to IRIS!

Subbed episodes of IRIS seem to be coming out faster and faster these days. :]

The highly popular KBS drama “IRIS” is looking into a Season 2 for next year. Emulating American dramas, a second season sounds better than dragging out this one.

Filming will began May 2010. With solid over-30% viewer ratings for the first season (ends in three weeks), many drama fans should be quite pleased.

However, the Season 1 hero Lee Byung-heon’s prospect of being in Season 2 doesn’t seem likely, as the star already has plans with Hollywood for filming “G. I. Joe 2.”

The “IRIS” producers have stated that, excluding Lee Byung-heon, they intend to discuss filming Season 2 with the other drama stars, including Kim Tae-hee, Kim Seung-woo, Jung Joon-ho, and Kim So-yeon. (Nothing is really mentioned about T.O.P, but YG had previously turned down the rapper starring in the drama “Zero Plus,” stating that he would be acting in the movie, “Into the Gunfire,” and needed to also return to Big Bang activities.)

Also, the production team has already chosen 4 different international shooting locations: Italy, New Zealand, Japan, and China. So, everything seems all go for “IRIS: Season 2.”

The November 25 episode of “Iris” hinted that the two lovers of the drama are never to be reunited. Kim Hyun-jun (Lee Byung-heon) gave what it seemed to be a goodbye kiss to Choi Seung-hee (Kim Tae-hee) when she was released from North Korean captivity.

Hyun-jun, on the North Korean side himself, interrogated Seung-hee, who had been captured. He used Morse code to let her know that she should not divulge sensitive information, and tortured her himself in order to save her from the North Korean agents. He intended to make her lose consciousness so that he could stop torturing her.

But the North Korean agents didn’t stop there. They made her come back to consciousness and gave an injection to force her to reveal classified information. But Seung-hee refused to talk, putting her life at risk. In the meantime, Baek San (Kim Young-chul), the chief of the National Security Service where she works, asked a North Korean leader to release her because he thought that he could use her for his purposes.

Hyun-jun was responsible for taking her back to her home alone. Arriving at her apartment, he lay her down in front of the door and covered her with his jacket. He felt heartbroken to touch her severely bruised face.

Looking at her unconscious form, he said, “I’ve become a monster, as you feared, and I doubt I’ll ever be able to return to who I used to be. Please erase me from your memory altogether.” He then kissed her to signify a permanent farewell.

Meanwhile, curiosity is rising over who Baek San really is, his relationship with Seung-hee, and his past. Now all the attention is being focused on how these mysteries will be solved.

Na noite do dia 28 de novembro, o ator Lee Beom Soo que participava do programa ‘Champagne’ da KBS2, foi convidado para iniciar o desafio ‘36 Sonhos da Copa do Mundo’ (basicamente, é um quadro onde se encolhe um/uma entre outras pessoas, o que permite saber a ‘preferência’ do convidado).

Kim Tae Hee, Ha Ji Won, Lee Si Young , Go Hyeon Jung, Kim Na Young, Son Dam Bi, Shin Bong Sun, Son Ye Jin, Kim Ha Neul e Shin Min Ah participavam das escolhas. Diante de belas mulheres, Lee Beom Soo perguntou se podia pensar. No último ‘round’ estavam Lee Si Young e Son Dambi, que ganhou a partida.  Beom Soo disse que ‘fica apaixonado quando Dambi está cantando’.

الصراحة من جد أحلى مسلسل لعام 2009 أنا حاليًا وصلت لحلقة 9 والمسلسل خيال وطبعًا الممثلين مرة تمام بالذات حبيبة قلبي Kim So Yeon مرة شكلها خطير في المسلسل أنصحكم تتابعوه .

Pues en Corea si, y los fans han han dado su veredicto, con resultados arrolladores … porque las parejas protagonistas de los dramas “You’re Beautiful” y “Smile, You” se llevaron el 90% de los votos!

que diera yo por verlos juntos en la vida real! T_T

¿Que pareja de algun k-drama te gustaría que lleven su relacion de la pantalla a la vida real?

En una encuesta reciente realizada por el conocido portal de internet DC Inside se les hizo dicha pregunta a los internautas durante una semana (del 17 al 24 de Noviembre).

La encuenta fue hecha a casi 6 mil personas y arrojó los siguientes resultados :

YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL [ TAE KYUNG - MI NYU ] – 58,8%

sin duda alguna la parejita del momento … como era obvio Hwan Tae Kyung y Go Mi Nam(Mi Nyu) se llevarian el primer puesto. Una mezcla de ternura y peleas xD que terminó convirtiendose en amor; historia que justamente hoy a llegado a su fin.

Una buena eleccion para despedir a personajes tan adorables!

SMILE, YOU [ HYUN SOO - JUNG IN ] – 31,1%

Contra todo pronostico “SooIn” la pareja protagonista del exito de la SBS, SMILE se ubicó en el 2do lugar de las preferencias … con mas del 30% de votos! … sinceramente yo pense que obtendrian mucho menos, pero felizmente me equivoque ;D

La pareja mas cute del año! la mas tierna, la mas maravillosa! en conclusión si hubiera sido por mi , ellos hubieran ocupado el 1er lugar xD! … son perfectos! ♥

YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL [ SHIN WOO - MI NYU ] – 4,6%

“La parejita toalla”, que sorpresivamente terminó en el 3er puesto (yo sinceramente pensaba que irian 2dos.) . Un amor unilateral que al parecer a muchos no les haría tanta gracia que se trasladara a la vida real …

IRIS [ HYUN JUNG - SEUNG HEE ] – 2,4 %

La pareja de espias que tiene un tirón tremendo entre las ahjummas y ahjussis en Corea … pero no de la misma forma entre los jovenes, quienes fueron los que votaron . Ni modo, para la próxima será xD.

Para todos los gustos verdad??? … Park Shin Hye con Jang Geun Suk??? , mas vería a Jung Kyung Ho y Lee Min Jung , no se porque … se me hacen tan compatibles, se conocen desde hace tiempo y encima nacieron el mismo año. En conclusión me moriria de la felicidad verlos juntos! xD

Obviamente la encuesta fue dirigida a los dramas que se estan emitiendo actualmente, proque sino no podria comprender como no estan en la lista los famosos “MinSun” o “SoEul” de Boys Over Flowers ….

The full minute and a half long CF has been released and it is soooooo cute!!! I think the 2PM members are adorable, I’m insanely jealous of Kim Tae Hee and I want to go to Paris Baguette. Success? I think so!
