Overall environment in Mizi was comfortable and they have private room that can accommodate up to 20 persons and also mini karaoke set in it with some not so up to date song… Hahaa~~ Serving are based on set style and if you are not satisfied, there are a la carte order. Prices range from RM10 to RM30 depending on the set and RM2 onwards for each a la carte. You can also choose your soup base with additional $$$ – kimchi, tom yam, and I can’t remember adi…

Here’s my mini pork slice set priced at RM16.90 and tom yam base at RM3. Regular set at Rm18.90.

This is my favorite orrr… Anyone know where I can buy this?? Cooked fast in a simmering pot of broth and voila~~~

This is the ingredients for my tom yam base. Errrr… got kena cheated punya feel. Taste very very spicy and they give you some lemon juice to make it sour.

This is the ORI. Seafood mix set at RM21.90. Nothing much to shout about but all the ingredients use are fresh.

Taste good when dipped with their special sauce made from a mixture of soy sauce, fried onion, sesame, peanut and scallion. I think I saw cili padi as well..

So, if you are craving for something clear and not to oily, go for a shabu shabu.

Was forced to wake up at 10 am today Been waking up late, lately, am usually up by either 8 or 9, maybe I’m still exhausted from all the former studying thanks to the exams. Anyway, followed my dad and aunt to Central Market in KL today, with the idea that my aunt was going grocery shopping, since I had never been there before, only to realise that I was visiting a tourist centre once I was in the building. I was pretty taken aback (in a good way), because the whole area was totally unexpected

Came across an old antique shop which sold some amazing vintage lamps and chandeliars, and also came across a super old camera, bicycle and radio. I currently have my eye on this one lamp, where it’s stand had embelishments and the lamp shade was made out of glass and had these colourful dragonfly motifs, THE THOUGHT OF THAT LAMP IS MAKING ME FEEL SO EXCITED AGAIN !! The chandeliar was gorgeous too, twas made out of glass, and had tear-droplets-crystals hanging from it, but I really loved that particular lamp. Anyone who visits Central Market and buys it, I swear, I will behead you! Do you have any idea how long I’ve been looking for an antique shop like this one ?! The last time I visited one was in 2003, when I was 11, in Sydney, Australia, if only I had an interest and taste in the vintage style back then (not that it was even in but then again ..)

Came across a few other shops that sold the most gorgeous of rings. Have already made plans with my cousin to go back there next week, and this time I will be armed with a pocket full of cash, a shopping list, and a head & mouth ready to bargain away

Besides that, we also visited this art shop, where the pictures were made out of recycled wood and tree branches. I tell you, it was soooo cool. I have my eye on this one painting, which would be more suitable for a house than a room, but it was very interesting. Wood art I guess ? Gaaaaahh, need to drag mum there, if she is even up for it. That lamp, those rings, that wood art, that bag, that other bag, that stopwatch (i know wtf, but its gold, and has a cover with embelishments) I don’t even care if the quality is compromisable, I WAAAAAANT  !!!! 

Sigh, I honestly did not have any mood to really shop today. Was too preoccupied with entertaining my cousin’s 3 year old kid = good exercise for me. He was literally running around everywhere, looking for a window just so he could stare at his favourite mode of transport (buses) and tell me whether or not they were clean buses or dirty buses. He is honestly the cutest button on earth (and he also has the prettiest eyes haha hansem boyy!) Also, spent some time catching up with my cousin, walking here and thereeee talking non stop, can’t wait for next week

So yeah that was my day, spent 8 in hours in that ‘mall’. Twas sort’ve of a small family reunion la.

I’m happy with my new finding, screw branded items (not like I was ever into them anyways) speaking of which, my other cousin gave me her Topshop birthday voucher to use, since she’s based in Spore, and the 20% discount voucher is only valid in Malaysia. To spend or not to spend ? I have at least a week before it expires, so much to shop, so little time.

Is time to turn off the money-saving mode (for my upcoming trip *grin*) and enjoy to the fullest. The burfday excursion start on the eve with lotsa nice food. Imma make you hungry with all this foodie pic. Muahahahaa~~~

1. Lunch @ Wendy’s

Start off with lunch at Jaya One. The new hot and spicy chicken taste good. Set priced at RM10.49, top up RM1 for regular set.

I love their shrimp burger. Priced at RM7.99 a la carte.

2. Dinner @ Munakata

Followed by dinner, eat all you can a la carte Japanese buffet. There are 40 dishes to choose from the menu. Priced at RM66 nett including 10% service charge. Only available for dinner time.

We managed to try 22 of them. The rest are those not to our liking. Worth a try but if you ask – if I’ll go back again? I’ll say NO, because you’ll get bored with it very fast. Out of 40 – only 1 sushi and 1 shashimi. Others are fried, grilled and tepanyaki stuff.

**Warning – dun be greedy coz you’ll have to pay RM10 for each unfinished plate and no tapao**

Overall ambiance was nice with waitress dress in kimono and the service was absolutely good. But just above Munakata, there is this newly open pub that was having an early party (I guess) where their music is so loud it rock the premise while you happily enjoying the scrumptious meal.

Went to Sunway Pyramid the next day for window shopping. Stroll the whole building for around 1 hour hunting for food and ended up in Dragon-i for the much craving Shanghai Pork Dumpling a.k.a xiu long bao.

The wet tissue and tidbits cost you 60sen/RM1 and RM2 each. If you dun wan to pay xtra, tell them you dun wan.

This I forgot the name. Eerrr… It should sound something like rice with chinese sausage + poached chicken + mushroom + vege. Make sense? Hahahaaa~~~ Priced at RM15.

Instead of bumming my time away, I thought I would do something more productive. So I recently took on a new project, which I call: The “Clean Up the House” project.

My family and I moved into my current house since I was twelve years old and man, what a shitload of junk we have accumulated over the past thirteen years.

I started with organizing the collection of pirated VCDs and DVDs in the living room. Old, old movies – some that were seen once and put aside, some classics such as Back to the Future Trilogy, the Mr Bean series and Home Alone which my siblings and I absolutely LOVED and had seen thousands of times.

Unfinished, and unable to move on due to the lack of CD organizers (need to buy more at the Thursday’s pasar malam (night market), I moved on to my bedroom.

I can’t believe that every piece of junk that I had thrown into the drawers were still there. Random paperclips, receipts, movie ticket stubs (and lots of it… I used to collect them, for who knows what reason), and I don’t know… lots of random stuff.

There are currently three huge black garbage bags of stuff in my room: one for recycling, one for broken toys and old stuff to be thrown away, and the last one is for stuff to be given away to the orphanage.

I have been working on my room for two full days now, and I am nowhere near the end, lol.

It’s actually not easy de-cluttering a room. A lot of things that I own used to be important to me at one point in time but no longer mean anything to me now. But somehow it is not easy throwing away something that reminded me of my past. Stuff that still lingered with memories of my younger days.

For example, magazines. Lots and lots of magazines that I bought when I was a mindless teenage girl. Cleo magazines. Smash Hits. Stacks and stacks of worthless boyband posters. I even bought a 2001 Christina Aguilera calendar.

This should be a no-brainer, right? I have zero interest in Westlife, Backstreet Boys, Boyzone, S Club 7 or the Spice Girls now. Throwing them out seem to be the thing to do.

Yet, I couldn’t bring myself to recycle them. After all, I had spent real-life money on these magazines. Most importantly, they reminded me of my teenage self. When YeeLing and I would sing in class. Swoon over 911 (the boyband, lol). Decide which Spice Girl we liked better. Fight over Britney and Christina.

Actually, looking back now, it seemed as if discussing pop music and boybands made you a part of the popular “in” crowd. And back then, it was very important to be popular in high school. Well, at least for me anyway. I am not ashamed to say that at a point in my life, being popular was my everyday goal. lol!

Now, ten years later, I don’t give a hoot about how popular I am. In fact, I just want to be left alone. Cut the small talk. And just hang out with people that I genuinely care about and sincerely want to be my friend.

It also amuses me to see teenage girls who reminded me of my younger self. And I would silently tell myself that soon, like me, they would grow out of that phase.

My only question is, why did my parents ever succumb to my requests for expensive and useless magazines? They probably knew that it was a waste of money and that it was unhealthy to indulge in teenage infatuation with pop idols.

I guess I would need to be a parent to find out. I would probably end up being a parent who would be unable to resist my child’s requests as well.

Anyway! I decided to recycle the boyband magazines but keep the women magazines. Women magazines and the issues that they touch on are usually timeless.

On a totally random note, did I mention that I was electrocuted the other night? *Shudder*

In Canada, the wall sockets don’t have an on/off switch. The moment you plug your electronic device into the socket, the current starts flowing. The voltage is different, if I’m not mistaken, it is probably only 120V in North America?

So the other night, I totally forgot to turn off the switch before plugging the camera charger into the socket. (Or maybe I was just subconsciously too lazy to do it.) And without thinking, I had carelessly touched the metal part of the plug. A split second later, I felt 240 volts of current stun my body like a shock wave. Almost as if I was Taser-ed and my heart had stopped beating for a microsecond. Out of pain and shock (literally), I dropped the charger with a scream.

For five minutes, I was speechless and immobile in a state of shock. My parents were so worried about me…

And then I burst out crying lol. I couldn’t help it. The shock had frightened me. And my fingers were numb from the current. To make matters worse, my parents were fussing over me like a little kid. “Are you okay? What happened??” It just made me feel all the more sorry for myself hahaa.

Anyway, it was a lesson well learnt!! Ever since then, I never ever forgot to turn the switch off before plugging or unplugging anything into or from the socket. Lol.

Another random note. I’ve been eating a lot of “heaty” stuff lately.

The other day, I ate curry laksa for brunch, nasi lemak with curry chicken for tea-time, and for dinner, drank tom yam soup with a bowl of chue yook fun (pork noodles) and a whole coconut. Mmmmm.

And then the next day, my dad bought durians. More mmmmmmm.

My nose started bleeding after that, lol. But if I could go back in time, I wouldn’t change anything. I could eat like this every day, lol!!

Alright, it is almost 3 am. I started reading The Kite Runner a few days ago. It’s pretty good, even though I’ve only read a quarter of the book. I leave it in the washroom for times when I have to you-know-what.

Okay. I had more durians after dinner today. And I have an interview tomorrow. ><

I hope I don't burp during the interview. *Keeps fingers crossed.*

Oh, and I kept the Christina Aguilera calendar. Couldn’t bring myself to recycle it.

2009/11/17 KUALA LUMPUR: In the army where he served for 21 years, he was a hero of sorts, availing himself to multiple recognition for his excellent service and loyalty to the country.

But in court yesterday, this same “hero” was sentenced to 25 years in jail and ordered to be given a total of 40 strokes of the rotan after he pleaded guilty to nine charges of raping one of his daughters and molesting another.

The nine terms run concurrently from the date of arrest on June 25 last year.

The acts committed by the 43-year old father of five was even too much for him to bear. After he pleaded guilty to the nine charges, he appeared confused and disoriented when the facts of the case were read out to him.

Sessions court judge Fathiyah Idris then ordered the court to stand down so that the accused could be given some time to think matters through.

The former soldier was charged with five counts of raping his then 15-year-old daughter at their home in Sentul here between January 2006 and June 14 last year.

For the first charge, the former soldier got 25 years’ jail and 15 strokes, for the second, 25 years’ jail and 15 strokes, for the third, 20 years and 10 strokes, for the fourth and fifth charges, 10 years each.

He was also charged with four counts of molesting his then 13-year-old daughter several times between 2006 and May last year at their home.

He was sentenced to 20 years’ jail for the first offence and 10 years each for the subsequent three offences.

According to the facts of the case, among the acts committed by the accused was to insert his finger into his daughters’ private parts and to fondle their breasts.

The older daughter had complained about the abuse to her counselling teacher.

In mitigation, defence counsel P. Gunalan told the court that the accused had served 21 years in the army and was given an Excellent Service Certificate in 1995 and 2000.

He said the accused’s wife was also willing to take him back because she could not afford to look after the children on her own as they were poor.

“He is also repentent and has promised not to repeat his acts,” Gunalan said.

Deputy public prosecutor Noor Aishah K.M. Abu Bakar, however, argued that as a father, his job was to protect the children.

In passing sentence, Fathiyah said the accused’s acts were despicable and that if the victims had not related the incidents to their counselling teacher, he would have probably continued to rape and molest them.

She also ordered that the accused be placed under police surveillance on his release from jail and also undergo counselling sessions while serving time.

1.How old are you, where are you from, where are you living now and what took you there?

Age 35, from the UK, currently living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I decided to move to Malaysia in 2003 as I’d lived in Hong Kong for a year in 1996/97 and travelled around SE Asia and loved it! I fell in love with the heat, the energy, the food and the great lifestyle that is possible out here (not many places in the world where you can afford to eat out every night of the week).

2.How long have you lived there and how long will you stay? What keeps you there?

Moved to Kuala Lumpur in 2003, but spent some time away between then and now (8 months travelling in Latin America, 1 year working in Argentina, and 1 year working in London). Marrying a Malaysian next year, so we’re settling down here … so hopefully we’ll be in KL for a long time. (Not ready to move back to London after living through a British winter last year).

3.What do you do to make a living?

Market Research… Been in the same industry for the last 12 years… I’m lucky that it’s a job that is easy to travel with, and I’ve had a great experience working in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

4.Describe your average weekday and weekend day.

Average week day is probably about 12 hours in the office! Weekends involve catching up with friends, lying by our pool, or travelling. There are so many beautiful places close to KL to visit and the highways in Malaysia make everything very accessible. With the advent of cheap travel (Air Asia and other low cost airlines) we’re also lucky enough to be able to do short trips around Asia.

5.What skills have you learned while living abroad?

Languages (French, Spanish, and a smattering of Cantonese… I’ve been promising to start learning Malay soon)

6.What are you missing (professionally) by not being in your home country?

A better wage!

7.If you could live anywhere, where would that be and why?

Anywhere in the heat.

8.What is your favorite gadget that makes your work life abroad better?

I miss the Blackberry I had in London… No such gadgets for me here!

9.Do you have a favorite book that inspired you to travel or consider a different way of living?

Oh there are so many… I’ve always loved reading novels or biographies set in the country or region that I’m visiting, living in, or considering visiting… We were in Cambodia last week and reading some memoirs of people who grew up during the Civil War really gave me a greater understanding of the suffering the country and its’ people went through. In the same vein, I remember reading a photocopied version of the Quiet American in Vietnam in 1997. I also remember reading A Town Like Alice when I was a teenager, and then re-reading it when I was back in Malaysia… Again, enabling me to understand more about the history of the country I am living in. Isabel Allende is another of my favorite authors… Her autobiography (My Invented Country) really bought the Latin American lifestyle to life. Riding the Iron Rooster (Paul Theroux) was inspiring, but the descriptions of the freezing cold conditions he endured on his travels through China put me off travelling in North China in the winter!

i realized that ever since i got back, my plans to leave are not to turn into an explorer, not to experience different cultures, not to see different things, not to be challenged, not to meet new people, not to read up on it & not to be in a totally different realm.

it has boiled down to the simplest of reasons : just to get away, dive and read a book. which goddamn, is relatively easy given my geographical location.

so we’re off in 3 days. to sit on a beach, to eat good food or at least tasty food, to drink the good drink, to get a top up tan that will override this translucent look, to devour two books that ive been anxiously wanting to finish, to go dive where you hear no on-land noises & just to maybe be quiet.

i think its only when im high above everyone else on the top of a mountain or below in the ocean is when i really believe that there’s a god up there

Didn’t do much house work yesterday since dear was around. Just bathed the dog..

Before that, breakfast was eggs and sausages for dear..

I kinda ruined the eggs.. Actually cracked two eggs whole in a bowl. but while pouring into the pan.. it kinda broke.. oh well.

Lunch for me was rojak from the fruit stall lady.. yum.. i love the keropok cos it was thick. i didn’t finish all the fruits cos i didn’t really like the sauce though grampa liked it..

Went back home.. dilly dally.. watched some tv..

took a nap for almost 2 hours!!!! I thought i couldn’t but ended up falling asleep!

Dear left for work when we left for church. Felt so weird that he had to go to work and i went for dinner with the family.

We went to Jalan Kuchai Lama for Pan Mee.. imagine.. all the way there for pan mee! lol..

The chilli was not normal.. it was delicious!! I had three plates! It’s not oily. but it’s slightly crunchy. delish!!!! So addictive. I ate it on its own.

I just ate wantons in soup with extra egg (RM6). Was alright. not too bad. Finished the soup. The wantons were kinda small though..

I didn’t get everyone’s pan mee, cos everyone was hungry! So i had a snap of grandma’s. The pan mee was quite nice. Smooth and almost like Min Fun Kou.

The bill was hefty. RM73.. for 7 bowls of pan mee, two bowls of wanton, two plates of fish cakes and drinks.

The good thing about this place is the variety as they have laksa pan mee, herbal chicken pan mee (tasty!!!), chilli pan mee. etc..

The concept of this place revolves around health food. The food looks alright, but the drinks look quite tasty. I didn’t have any juices though cos they were kinda pricey.. RM7.90..

So i just had a plain Hainanese Teh C

Which was really sweet..

I’ve chosen to go the cloth-nappy way.
When I was pregnant with my firstborn, I read up on whether I should use cotton nappies or disposable diapers. And I decided that cotton cloth nappies are best for the environment and for my baby.

Here are the facts about disposables:

~ It takes around 80,000 pounds of plastic and over 200,000 trees a year to manufacture the disposable diapers for American babies alone.
~ The untreated waste placed in landfills by dirty disposable diapers is also a possible danger to contaminating ground water.
~ 18 billion disposable diapers that end up in landfills are likely to be still be there 300 years from now.

and so. through my baby’s first year here in KL.

~ I hand-washed my son’s cloth nappies in the first few months. In the later months, I used the washing machine

~ I did not use a drier. I air-dried his nappies, in the friendly KL sunshine

~ He wore only one disposable diaper. at nights.

~ And I used hand-me down cloth nappies that his elder brother had worn when he was a baby. (after neatly disinfecting it)

And now, I’m trying to toilet train the baby. (Why do I feel that I am getting toilet trained instead?)

I am sure i have saved more than 300 kg of waste over the year.
Is it difficult? No. But it is tiring to keep changing cloth nappies off your wriggly kids.

But. the pros are that he has never had nappy rash. and I must have saved a lot of money, in the bargain.

One point is that KL does not have cloth nappies like the one my son is wearing in the picture. I searched in all major baby outlets. Finally, I had to buy them in India when I visited there.

KL’s stores have only white cotton squares that have to be safety-pinned on (not convenient).

here’s a big business idea: manufacturing cloth cotton nappies with velcro fasteners here in KL. Big bucks await you entrepreneurs!

There is this shop in the vicinity of Dengkil town that served nice home cooked food.

Ladies & gentlemen, I present to you my favorite dish….

the best chili fish in town… deep fried fresh grouper fish topped with special gravy and with lots of lotsss of red and green bird’s eye chili pepper (hence the name) and garlic. Irresistible~~~ Beware – it might burn your lips

A perfect match with a bowl of hot rice or try their handmade mee. Both taste great.

Total bill, surprisingly came up to RM35.20. A bit costly thou but worth the try. Also in the menu are Freshwater Prawn Noodle (Sang Har Min), fried bihun with pork and you go check it out…

Here’s the cost breakdown:
Chili Fish         : RM29.00 (hence the surprise)
Fried Mee        : RM5.00
2 Chinese Tea : RM1.20

It made me really sad to know that I will be missing out on things like that. I’ve enjoyed my fair share of musicals throughout my stay in Vancouver, something that I’ve grew to appreciate and love.

Occasionally I would wonder how my friends in Vancouver were doing. After all, they were my closest friends for the past six years. They could relate to my everyday life in Vancouver. They knew how I felt about my job. About people. About alot of stuff. We shared so many good times, juicy gossips, priceless memories, private jokes and definitely, a unique bond.

Sometimes I will think of my apartment. And my sisters. Wonder how they are faring without me. I miss my apartment. I miss the layout of my apartment. At the convenience of how everything is just within reach. I can watch TV and cook/eat/brush teeth/change clothes at the same time. Unlike living in a house, where I have to drag my heavy feet up three floors just to get to my bedroom. I miss being on the 19th floor. I miss being able to look out of the window before I go to work in the morning, to see how heavy the traffic is. It was really convenient for me, especially when I was late.

At the same time, I know that if I were in Vancouver right now, I knew what my routine would be.

Go to work on weekdays. Cook. TV. Shower. Clean up. Maybe the occasional weekday dineout. Or hang out.

Hang out with friends on weekends. Dinner. In the same restaurants. Either Richmond or Burnaby. The guys will talk about stocks, Gutterpost and make sick jokes. The girls will talk about work. People. Gossip. Janet and I will talk about cooking. Lol.

After dinner, it will be dessert houses. Or the casino. Someone’s house. The movies.

I doubt anything has changed much. Especially during the winter time.

I guess that is part of life. Moving on to different stages in life. Making choices. Decisions that will definitely have opportunity costs one way of other. I know what my priorities are. What my decision is. I am aware of what I will trading in. Giving up.

Maybe I am reluctant to look for a job in Malaysia because I know that if I start working… my decision will be all the more final. The reality of my choice would sink in. Of course, I am fortunate enough to say that if things don’t fare well, I can always return to Vancouver. I am blessed and thankful for that.

Alright, before I end this post, I can not resist not talking about… none other than TWILIGHT.

Edward Cullen. Drools.

I was talking to Suzz about Twilight earlier. And I realised that the reason I loved the first book so much was the fact that it reminded me of high school. Of our first crushes. The reason why it was bearable for us to wake up at six in the morning to go to school. Observing your crush from a distance. The looking, and looking backs. The highs and lows you go through. Every move is analysed with the greatest detail. And every small detail creates a large impact on your emotions.

Lol!

Alright. I can safely say that my obsession for the Twilight series is pretty much under wraps. I re-read all four books, skimming through much of the second and third book, only reading my favourite parts.

I won’t be reading it in awhile. Since I am only trying to harmlessly phase out my obsession, not hate the book. Haha. I am still excited about New Moon the movie though.

And Suzz has given me something else to focus on. True Blood. A series about vampires, with the male lead dangerously resembling Edward Cullen, my latest infatuation. Haha. Yes, yes, yes.

Green with Envy

So… you know how sometimes, when you are snooping around through Flickr, or Blogs for that matter… things just scream at you, and you HAVE to have them! We’re talking, take you over, have no choice, how many Linden do I have?, Does it really matter?, I’m buying them! Take you over.  That… is how I felt when my eyes fell on this new dress set from :SK Designs:. Just look at it! These textures are perfect, and you could tie them in to so many different looks.   Available in the Olive and the Crimson hues, I was quick to track and add this to my hoard.  With a fabulous find like this, I can’t just leave you guys not knowing about it, thus comes, my new look of the day.  My first blogworthy humpday (this is where you cheer)!

I never cease to be amazed when designers manage to line their seams up so flawlessly.  You can see here how Sergio Krasopani has done just this.  I’m wearing the shirt and pant layer of this Wyther 2.0 dress, the red arrow points directly to the seam… nothing! Not a hint of skin, no over blurred attempts at blending, not even a painted on belt to hide the obvious line up issues.  Now, I’ve attempted to make clothing, attempted… being the key word!  Therefore, I know first hand how wreck your brain, want to rip out your hair, fight the urge to knock over your monitor frustrating seams can be.  Let me tell you, this dress is made for the OCD fashion conscious SLer like myself!  I added this jacket from none other than AOHARU, these amazingly detailed boots from LAQ and these tights, also from :SK Designs: to complete the look. so i’ve been back home for a couple of days now and i must say – things have been as relaxed as you would imagine. not just because i’ve not had to worry about anything back in singapore, but also because people here are just so god-dam lazy – i LOVE IT! it took me a while to get back to the whole malaysian timing though; the first day i arrived…the boys were a good 2 hours late before we actually sat down and had some beers…the fools.

anyway, i’ve been attending the royal dj academy the past three days and…DJing ain’t easy man! i’ve actually been using my brain for the first time since i was stolen from this country. i only just started beat-matching on an old mk2 turntable and apparently my teach, BURGER (i have yet to find out if that is his real name) has told me that this is ust the beginning. it took me a good hour to get my first match this afternooon. i was so fucking frustrated but the feeling of actually making it happen in the end was immense. i can’t wait till you guys here me spin!

so apart from that, nothing else has changed here. i pretty much have a routine of waking up late, heading for some delicious grub which mummers never ceases to impress me by, heading to town for the dj class, coming home/heading for a run and then having a drink with the boys. ALTHOUGH i did go jamming with shaam and alex yesterday, and albeit unproductive – it was hella fun. reminded me of the salesmen days!

and today, the shaamil tigers (the very appropriate name i’ve given shaam and kat) and i headed to this flea market in town which was closed due to the rain — well ONE store was open but that didn’t really count – so we’re gonna go check it out tomorrow. i wanna get a leather jacket! and some flannel! i feel like a millionare here!
