This Thanksgiving week, General Motors has officially ceased production of it’s Pontiac brand

This Thanksgiving week, General Motors has officially ceased production of it’s Pontiac brand of vehicles as a result of the bailout by the U.S. government. Not only could the car maker not meet it’s financial obligations but, the fact is that the car’s brand no longer had the appeal it once did and sales were declining.

The last Pontiac G-8 rolled off the assembly line in Orion heading for a fleet order rather than a museum for posterity sake yesterday. http://www.detnews.com/article/20091126/AUTO01/911260411/Pontiac-reaches-end-of-the-line/?imw=Y

http://www.pontiac.com/ has the official closeout information on remaining vehicles for sale with deals as low as o% financing for six years or cash back offers up to $4,500. As a wake up call to anyone buying a car, six years is an absurd amount of time to pay off a car, especially when the warranty ends before you pay it off.

With discount offers like this across most of GM’s product line up, how they are ever going to make money, get out of bankruptcy and away from government ownership is beyond any one’s guess.

Besides the 1000’s of job losses at Pontiac plants, NUMMI the joint venture between GM and Toyota venture looks to be shutting its doors as well. http://www.mercurynews.com/drive/ci_13766495 From the Bureau of Labor Statistics unemployment by state http://www.bls.gov/web/laumstrk.htm is listed. Like the climategate, how true these numbers are is any one’s guess.

I recall the 1978 Pontiac Bonneville that I learned to drive in. What a tank, but it had the radio antennae built into the glass which was pretty cool. In 1982 came the Firebird and was featured on the TV Show Knight Rider. I never owned one, but a lot of my buddies did and it was a girl magnet.

Pontiac Fiero

In 1984, my dad through a mid life crisis or whatever, found the Pontiac Fiero much more in the spirit of things. What a car it was and far removed from anything on the market. The damned things body was made of plastic! We’ll some sort of poly-resin- that when a grocery cart hit it it bounced off with no damage. With no USA steel to give it strength, on impact the car crumbled. Luckily, we never crashed it but traded it it on something or another. Might have been the Cadillac Sedan De Ville with the horrendous 4-6-8 valve engine- another GM disaster.

Our Fiero was hot red in color with every option known to man, including the fabulous sound system from Bose. Nothing like Van Halen screaming at you at ten decibels while driving down the highway. A definite babe magnet of a car. It made you want to live in the fast lane or at least drive in it.

Chief Pontiac, Ottawa Tribe

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Chief Pontiac of the Ottawa Tribe must be glad to know that the spirit of the Pontiac brand of vehicles will go on- in memory at least. He was quoted as saying,

According to a French chronicler, in a second council Pontiac proclaimed:

It is important for us, my brothers, that we exterminate from our lands this nation which seeks only to destroy us. You see as well as I that we can no longer supply our needs, as we have done from our brothers, the French…. Therefore, my brothers, we must all swear their destruction and wait no longer. Nothing prevents us; they are few in numbers, and we can accomplish it. Peckham, Indian Uprising, 119–20; Dixon, Never Come to Peace, 109. via http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chief_Pontiac#cite_note-8

It didn’t turn out so good for the Indians being forced to reservations, but in the long run some tribes are probably more financially stable than the U.S. government, thanks to good fiscal policy and casino’s.

Ironically enough, the Pontiac Silverdome was sold this month for $583,000 USD to a Toronto, Canadadian businessman. Completed in 1975 as the Pontiac Metropolitan Stadium, at a cost of $55.7 million, the Silverdome seats 80,311. It contains 102 luxury suites and 7,384 club seats. more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pontiac_Silverdome

“While still not sure what he’ll ultimately do with the stadium, adjacent fieldhouse and 127 acres of land, Apostolopoulos said he’d like to return it to being a place that hosts football, soccer, hockey and basketball as well as concerts. “People today like sports so we have to keep it for sports events,” he said. “Whatever they like, we’ll do.” But Apostolopoulos said the zoning does allow for the tearing down of the stadium and the building of houses, apartments or almost any other kind of construction.” http://www.thestar.com/sports/article/729769–toronto-developer-snaps-up-vacant-pontiac-silverdome

At less than $5000 USD an acre that was a good deal for any pilgrim.

Starring : Eric Lasalle,Brittany Murphy and Bruce Davison.
Loved the Impending doom of whole movie.
Truly a roller coaster of terror,” Will the ground/road hold up as I drive or run?”
The effects are great,really.
Watching this film on SY FY channel,Was probably fun…But the dvd has all kind of extras and really needs to be noticed.
Eric Lasalle(ER) steals the film,In a good way with such an honest and true character.
Bruce Davison (Knight Rider) really plays these distinguished leaders well,Didnt mention “Mad Scientist” once !
Brittany Murphy has a challenge ahead of her as a Sy Fy Heroine,’nuff said.
The best scenes are of Brittany’s Husband and Daughters journey to safety and Eric’s scenes of trying to save his mother( We can all relate to this endeavor).

On the 8th Oktober the new “Knight Rider”-Movie was first shown in Germany. It was a very good film, so that many people watched it and RTL-Television shows now the whole Series. The episodes are shown every Saturday at 16.45 on RTL in Germany. I think, that the film and the series are very good, sure at most I like the three main actors: K.I.T.T., Mike Traceur/Michael “Mike” Knight (alias Justin Bruening) and Sarah Graiman (alias Deanna Russo).

K.I.T.T. , played by a Ford Mustang, is the short cut for “Knight Industreis Three Thousand” , he is a car with superpowers, like self repairing paint, some secret weapons and so on. But his best feature is still his voice.

Mike Traceur, played by Justin Bruening, is a 23-year-old ex-Army Ranger, who doesn´t remember some years of his life. He is the driver of K.I.T.T. . When he is more and more haunted, because of this years, he changed his name into Michael Knight.

Sarah Graiman, played by Deanna Russo, is the daughter of Charles Graiman, played by Bruce Davison. Charles Graiman invented K.I.T.T. with a little help of his daughter. Sarah Graiman is a 24-year old Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University.

Michael and Sarah are going on missions in almost each episode together. In the pilot movie Sarah says, that she was already together with Mike and didn´t love him any more. But during the series Mike and Sarah are getting together, because Sarah saved Mike´s life more than one time and Mike saved Sarah´s life. I´m sory to say, that the Series only has 1 Season.

I got to hang out with the Batmobile!

My good friend Dmitriy is friends with legendary custom car designer George Barris. For months now, Dmitriy has been inviting me to accompany him to Barris’ shop, and I finally took him up on the offer.

I could write a thousand words about how cool it was to stand next to some of the cars I grew up watching on television. But instead, I’ll let these photos do the talking.

Feel free to click on each of these images to view larger versions.

Next to the Batmobile was another of George’s famous custom creations: K.I.T.T. from “Knight Rider.”

And lastly, we poked around in George’s garage where we found the classic Munster Koach from “The Munsters.”

At first, I asked Dmitriy to take a picture of me next to the Koach.

But then he suggested I get inside for a shot.

And you know, because it’s the friggin’ Munster Koach, I had to.

Thanks to Dmitriy for bringing me along, and George for giving us complete access to his garage.

Do you know what T.V. is missing? The advice and snappy dialogue of an educator and elder. Not a young hip teacher like Mr. Kotter (Welcome Back Kotter), Doug Stevens (Swingtown), or even Mr. Matthews (90210). What T.V. needs is a new Mr. Feeny.

Mr. Feeny was arguably the best part of ABC’s Boy Meets World and now he has disappeared completely. William Daniels was the man behind the grey mustache.

Daniels had a stellar pre-Boy career. He has co-starred in some of the most influential pieces of pop-culture; he was Dustin Hoffman’s father in The Graduate (1967), as John Adams in 1776 (1972) and as the voice of KITT in the original Night Rider.

Good news, Daniels is still alive and ready for a Boy Meets World Reunion. Currently he has no new projects, although a KITT GPS voice is rumored.

William, I miss your large eternally present mustache, your various neutral colored sweaters and your frank lectures.

William Daniels, I miss your face.

There has been something I’ve been trying to come to grips with for years and I guess I should final

There has been something I’ve been trying to come to grips with for years and I guess I should finally come out with it….I’m an addict. Not addicted to drugs or cigarettes or coffee or collecting small cat figurines. I’m addicted to fantasy football. I’m sure most guys would say “dude I’m addicted too” or “I love it as well…you’re not the only one”. I know this but homey understand when I say…I’m addicted. If at any point during a day you were to say, “hey what are you thinking about?” I could easily say my fantasy football teams…or Taco Bell (that place is awesome). I’ve been competing in FF for about nine years now and each year it has gotten worse. Up until this year, I would have four or five teams a year. Five teams! I had so many players to cheer for that I couldn’t keep them all straight. When you’re at a bar cheering loudly for Rex Grossman, you’ve got a problem. I’ve been there folks…it’s a low point that you don’t want to reach. There are a lot of sad things that come with this addiction when you think about it. Here are a few I deal with:

Football Snobbery. When people are discussing an NFL game, team or player, I usually listen to their comment and think in my head how incredibly wrong they are. Their comment – “I really like Denver’s defense this week.” When you hear that, you may think that’s a good thought. When I hear that, I think (in British accent)– “what a sports peasant…they clearly have no idea.” What’s wrong with me? That is actually a good thought…their defense has been really good this year.

The Gladiator Speech. I may or may not whisper this to my computer screen to pump up my team before the Noon kickoffs – “what we do in life, that goes an eternity.” Not healthy.

Time & Energy Loss. If I would spend my time and energy on more productive things besides checking on my teams, I could’ve accomplished more productive life goals like turning my truck into Kit from Knight Rider or finding a way to get Lady Gaga out of the country…permanently.

With all that said, I have scaled it back this year. Two teams and only one has a financial commitment. It’s the equivalent of switching to de-caf…I think. I have to say, despite this admission, that it is something I will never give up. Why fight it? My name is Andy and I’m addicted to Fantasy Football.

A CBS venceu a noite com ‘NCIS’, ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ (16.2 milhões e 3.7 pontos) e ‘The Good Wife’ (12.9 milhões e 2.7 pontos).

Além de ‘V’, a ABC levou ao ar ‘Dancing With the Stars’ (15.5 milhões e 3.4 pontos), que subiu 10% com Susan Boyle como participação especial, ‘In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville’ (9.6 milhões e 2.4 pontos – audiência 26% maior que a performance de ‘The Forgotten’ na semana passada).

A NBC ficou logo atrás da ABC, exibindo ‘The Biggest Loser’ (9.6 milhões e 3.7 pontos) e ‘The Jay Leno Show’ (5.7 milhões e 1.9 ponto).

A Fox exibiu ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ em queda de 8%: 5.7 milhões e 2.3 pontos.

Fica a dica.

A shorty post cause jimi is dying here. 20 years ago the Berlin Wall fell. I was eleven at the time

A shorty post cause jimi is dying here. 20 years ago the Berlin Wall fell. I was eleven at the time and not gonna lie a tad confused by it. I sat on the floor and watched the hub bub and felt for the people who poured out raw emotion. I’m not sure I knew why.* Now it all took place because Ronald Reagan did this**:

That was some powerful video huh? I was gonna show something from the Hoff but a clip of Knight Rider wouldn’t really be appropriate would it? Here is a link to a few funny clips of it. I especially enjoy when he says “fuck you Kit!”

The wall came down 20 years ago today and it should cause some reflection and deserves celebration. There are many instances of walls being put up still today real or firewall (like what is taking place in China.)

Now 10 years ago a man named Jerry Tuite debuted as The Wall. He was “German” and was the body guard of the character Berlyn. So in all seriousness he was Beryln’s Wall. Get it?? AWESOME SAUCE if I ever saw it. Now he was big. Real big:

He was involved in some storylines and then as WCW faded so did he. He passed on in 2003 but there was this awesome moment that he brought us:

Anyhooo in all seriousness today is a special day. Reflect on your freedom and their moment 20 years ago. I watched this video thanks to Chef’s Widow and they are beautiful and emotional. This is what I’m doing***:

The German Embassy is coordinating a public diplomacy campaign with the motto “Freedom Without Walls.” The campaign is focused on promoting awareness of the fall of the Berlin Wall among current college students, and students at over 20 universities will participate in “Freedom Without Walls” events in late 2009. Enjoy your day and week.

*And for some reason I typed ruse (instead of sure) like three times. Dyslexic much?
**What we don’t all get our history from Family Guy?
*** Kinda lame I know but I like to show support even in little ways (this is a no no at work I’m sure)

Michael Knight, A Shadowy Figure on a Lone Crusade to buy a new car. What with those crazy gas prices last year, he probably can’t afford to drive a V8 gas-guzzler…enter the government’s Cash For Clunkers program. You can trade in your ancient petro-gulping behemouth of a TransAm for some inconsequential little conveyance like a Cooper Mini or Honda Civic Hybrid. The leather jacket might be a bit of a stretch, then, Mr. Knight. And please button up your pink shirt just a few more buttons…I can’t stand the sight of all that greying chest hair in that perpetual sunset you always seem to be driving around in. And if you see those Dukes of Hazzard boys with that bright orange monstrosity of theirs, the General Lee, please send it our way.

BTW, in case you hadn’t noticed, they’re re-making Knight Rider again. This time it’s supposed to be Michael Knight’s son. Last time, it was “Team Knight Rider”, with five different AI vehicles, and before that, “Knight Rider 2000″. You just aren’t going to capture the success of the original show. And most cars have computers in them now anyways, it’s not such a big deal anymore. (Still no video-capable wrist watches, though, I’ll give Glenn Larson that much.) It’s the Knight Industries Three Thousand this time, which sounds cool except that KR2K used the Knight Industries Four Thousand. But “KIFT” sounds dorky, and reminds us of Amy’s boyfriend from Futurama. No one ever listens to me about how to make a proper sequel, but here goes: resurrect KITT’s twice-kilt brother KARR (the Knight Automated Roving Robot), and let George Takai drive it. Nuff said.

It’s been another busy week in the TechStuff labs here at HowStuffWorks.com. Chris and I are working on the preliminary design of our TechStuff Automaton. After much debate, we decided the name “Killbot 2000″ had a slightly negative connotation. The current working title of the project is now “Sir Hugs-A-Lot.” I’m not certain that we’ve added quite as many spikes and lasers as we’ll need, but it’s still early in the project.

Between our plans for world domination and eating lunch at the local pizzeria, we managed to record and publish some episodes of TechStuff this week. On Monday, we talked about our podcasting process. We’ve had several listeners ask us how we go about creating our show. This episode will give you an idea of our process. We also give some tips to people interested in starting their own podcasts. Surprisingly, the most important things to remember aren’t technical — they’re procedural.

On Wednesday, we responded to listener mail from Alexandra about artificial intelligence (AI). Chris and I give our own interpretations of what the term means. We also give examples of some early examples of AI. Alexandra said that she enjoyed the show Knight Rider with the artificially intelligent car called KITT. I posed a puzzle to our listeners by making an odd reference about driving to Congress. We received a message from Frank G. that identified the reference correctly: William Daniels, who provided the voice for KITT, starred in the musical “1776″ as John Adams. And because a promise is a promise: Kudos to Frank!

And for your enjoyment, here’s a short clip from the classic Knight Rider:

And another from 1776:

So a few of you suggested to me that one of the reasons I couldn’t get a job was because of my

So a few of you suggested to me that one of the reasons I couldn’t get a job was because of my lack of a solid resume. Of course, none of you have seen my resume, so none of you actually said that to me. Mostly you said it was because of my unrealistic salary demands, my wardrobe consisting mostly of cut-off jean shorts and replica jerseys and my general lack of oral hygiene. Again, none of you actually said that to me, but that’s generally the feedback I receive from people who interview me.

It’s a free country, so you’re allowed to question my oral hygiene, but last I checked the Bible doesn’t say anything about God creating toothbrushes. Why would he give you teeth but no toothbrushes? Think about it. Seems to me that the guy who made teeth would know a little bit more about taking care of them than some guy who works for a company called AquaFresh. This is what happens though when Big Toothpaste gets their hands on those Washington fat cats in Congress.

But I digress. I was reading up online about resumes and how to make them (turns out your birth certificate isn’t your resume), and it seems like an awful lot of work to me. I don’t think it’s fair for a company to expect me to put in work just so I can go interview with them and not pay me throughout the process. I’ve suggested this in various board meetings (that I’ve crashed) but no one seems to be interested in my ideas to get the best of the best to apply. I know I would apply to tons more jobs if I were getting paid $25 an hour to do it.

Still, I need a job and the whole freelance architecture thing still hasn’t really taken off yet despite the fact that I spend a lot of time sitting around and thinking about how to make it work, mostly by playing Sim City. I thought I had a pretty good project lined up when I heard my next door neighbor’s kid begging his dad for a treehouse. I took a little initiative and drew him up some plans for a pretty sweet treehouse/grotto that I could have built for him for about $15,000, but before I could show it to him the plans got thrown away after they got mixed up in my old newspaper collection that my mom threw out.

I know what you’re thinking. “Why do you have an old newspaper collection?” It’s because for a while I thought I had a pretty nice money-making scheme where I would stand on the street corner with a stack of newspapers and yell, “EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!” and peddle headlines from a few years ago as new ones. (Holy shit! The Twin Towers collapsed again!) Turned out those newspaper kids didn’t make as much money as I thought and on top of that old man Carter, the publisher of the local paper, took two-thirds of every nickel I made selling papers and kept it for himself. He also locked me in his basement and fed me nothing but gruel. Even worse, it turns out old man Carter wasn’t actually the publisher of the local paper but just some random old man who locked people in his basement. It all worked out in the end, though, when he fired me because he thought I was editorializing too much in my sales pitches.

Getting back on point, though – my resume. I need a resume. So here it is. Any advice would be welcome, or if you want to steal it and use it as your own, that’s cool, too. Just be warned that you’ll find yourself sorely overqualified for most jobs to which you apply.

How else could he have built a full working volcano in our classroom?); Washed dishes; Cleaned up trays; Ate leftover scraps for money; The story about the pickles in the back room is totally untrue and not why I got fired.

Point of clarification: By Mall Santa I mean Front Yard Santa. The company that hires the Mall Santas didn’t hire me, so I got my own costume and set up in my front yard. In hindsight that wasn’t the best idea, but if attempting to bring joy to the neighborhood is wrong (and, according the arrest warrant, it is), I don’t want to be right.

Long story short, apparently the girl I thought I was dating wasn’t actually dating me. More on that in a later post. Still, this counts as a job because I got a hold of her bank account number and so I was kind of getting paid to do it.

Usually, I don’t do random entries that will sound pathetic and childish like this. But I am very much in need for a writing therapy at the moment, because I am not happy and definitely feeling down. I’ve been through a lot this year, and I can definitely say that this is one of my worst year ever.

Too many things happened, and I sometimes wished for that there’s more than 24 hours a day. Time is simply not enough, and I tend to wonder if I am having a post traumatic stress, seeing how often I feel so down and depressed since the fire happened.

Long long time ago, I never like any animals to keep as pet. Most of them stinks and smell like poo all the time, and not to mention if it’s a feline or a canine, they need treatments and grooming pretty often too.

I adopted a stray kitten 3 month ago. I did not even know why I brought it home. I really did not know why. It’s not even cute to even begin with. The kitty, whom I called Meow Meow looks like a New Zealand dairy cow with the patchy black fur. But I suppose it is fate that Meow Meow comes to live with me for me and my entire family owe her our lives. To cut the story short, she saved us from the fire that burned down my house on 18th July 2008- four days after I brought her home. I suppose, she’s pretty much godsent.

I was no animal lover, but I came to realize that pets could bring so much joy and serenity to the soul. I used to think that cats are stupid creature that vomits furball everywhere and poop around, but boy was I wrong. My kitty learned to use the toilet all by herself, and all I need to do was just flush the toilet each time she poop or pee. She’s pretty clever for a not so cute kitten.

There’s a few things that I noticed about Meow Meow. Among them is she loves to watch superheroes shows and old shows like Knight Rider and Air Wolf. She’s pretty choosy when it comes to food, and prefers to eat wet food more than the nasty dry pet food for cats. If I did not bathe her at least once a week, she’ll get very uncomfortable and bites and scratch around angrily.

Meow Meow also loves to be petted and hugged, and when it’s raining or storming outside, she’ll stick to me or my husband like a glue. I used to think that kittens only loves to chase yarn balls, but Meow Meow is different. She love all sort of children’s toys and loves to see picture books and not to mention watch cartoon. Sometimes, she even behaved like a little girl. She’ll want blanket and tends to hug little soft toys when she sleeps.

These days, Meow Meow would give me a wake up call. She would lick my face in the morning and if I still refused to get my lazy butt up from the bed, she’ll claw me. I never knew that I could love a little kitten so much that sometimes I treat her like my own daughter.

I could list down many reasons why I love Meow Meow. But at the end of the day, having someone to tell my problems to and would keep my secrets safe tops the list. For what it’s worth, I am sure glad and thankful that I brought Meow Meow home.

Cleffairy: Sometimes, animals would understand you better than human. Well, at least they won’t backstab you, scold you or even judge you for what you did and did not do. At least, pet’s love and devotion for you is always genuine.

Doctor Who’s return to television screens a while back was exciting, and the stories – d

Doctor Who’s return to television screens a while back was exciting, and the stories – despite not breaking new ground, were well told for the most part. It didn’t cannibalize from itself as much as other shows which have returned to the small screen (such as Knight Rider’s stupidity remaining intact from the original series) and the pairing of Eccleston and Pyper was eccentric enough to feel new. That should make my following grumble a little less provocative to fans of the series – The Sarah Jane Adventures is not worth watching if the writers can’t come up with something even remotely original.

A wedding, a time anomaly and a mysterious ‘otherworldly presense’ messing with time… Gee, that kinda sounds a lot like the first season episode Father’s Day. Which it should, because the parallels are obvious. There is even a disappearance at the wedding (riffing off Donna Noble’s introduction), The Doctor saying “I’m very, very sorry” to someone who is about to die, and the ending of the episode had too much sap. The way that The Doctor says goodbye is probably the bluntest example of lampshading I have seen in the last couple of months, and is just as obvious as the hokey “You’re song is coming to an end” dialogue from a while back.

I get the tongue-in-cheek referencing, really I do, but so many people seem content to cut and paste scenes together to fill time. I’m beginning to have some concerns about the reboot / revamp of the series unless the new production team can fully exorcise the ghost of R2D2 from their methods of storytelling. The final episodes of Doctor Who had better be fucking amazing or I’m gonna be really disappointed…

####

In a related vein, I’ve finally succumbed to pressure from friends to read 52 (which is a dumb name for a comic), and I’m noticing call-backs to previous cross-overs such as Eclipso, the aftermath of Doomsday and a bunch of other old DC epics. When I finally get around to reading all of it I’ll give my final verdict, but after the first couple of issues I’m feeling a sense of déjà vu… It’ll probably be after November when I get around to reading all of it though, as NaNo is gonna be taking up quite a bit of my spare time.

Ralph Dibny takes the news that DC is having a crossover event rather badly…

By Time Travel Extraordinaire John Titor

Many people think during your time that in the future flying cars will be an important thing. That was attempted in the 2020s but their use was basically rendered impractical since we already had important technology like airplanes already invented. In the 2020s people thought flying cars were pretty stupid since they already had cars that could travel at speeds of 7 miles/second. It was problematic to invent flying cars, because our technology was so advanced that the cars could breed with one another. Now the skies are full of these pests and Automobile Control has to come out with a shotgun every Tuesday and tries to keep their numbers down.

Bloody pests.

The cars in my time are pretty similar to the car in the show Knight Rider. They talk to you annoyingly and you always want to argue with them. But they’re always smarter than you!

Cars in our time never get into wrecks because they only travel through tubes independent of other cars. Every car has its own tube. You antiquated folk in your own time wished you had thought of that. Each car tube only leads to one path so you better choose wisely. Also, you gotta make sure you schedule the tube at the right time because you can’t go into the tube without another car having exited it. That way you can insure yourself 100% safety.

Incidentally cars in our time don’t even have wheels. In place of their wheels, they have anvils. That way they remain heavily stuck to the conveyer belt that carries them through a tube. The great thing about TCACT (stands for Tube Car Anvil Conveyer Technology) is that tubes can be constructed ubiquitously and so you can take your car virtually everywhere, even into the comfort of your own home!

Before TCACT, we sometimes wanted to make moving through traffic easier. We thought, “how do we get through all those terrible red lights?” that you fellow present folk find yourself in. Well we devised a system of ramps. When a car needed to move ahead of the traffic, it would eject a ramp out in front of itself, and then it would jump the ramp and thus jump the rest of the cars. Problem solved. This unfortunately resulted in a lot of fatalities. Sometimes cars would jump out in front of other cars colliding with other cars jumping other cars. It was just pure ramp jumping chaos. So a plan was devised by Henry Ford IX to come up with a system of tubes.

Car tubes basically fill all of our skies, all of our earth, and all of our oceans but it’s very much worth it since no car will ever collide with another car or anything, thus insuring 100% safety. We’ve basically transformed our planet into a pure tubal planet. But trust me, 100% safety has been worth every tube! Tube Car Anvil Conveyor Technology has made our world a better place and is the realization of the dreams of Henry Ford IX.

You stupid primitives think that hydrogen fuel cells will be the fuel of the future. Well, we skipped the fuel cells which were ridiculous and just went to hydrogen tank cars. These are way more awesome though they do routinely burst into flames Hindenburg style.

Now thats how you ride in style!

People from the early 21st century pursued such technology because they felt that fossil fuels were too wasteful. The truth was that they weren’t wasteful enough. Without all that pollution, we have entire cities controlled by grizzly bears and trees keep bullying people as they walk down the street. And all of us were trained from birth to love nature so it’s hard for us to stand up for ourselves.

Peak oil wasn’t that big of a deal, but peak Neon really destroyed the transportation industry as most of the money spent on cars was to furnish them with neon lights on the sides so they’d look really futuristic. Detroit was eventually switched to plain old fashioned flourescent lighting.

Of course, many of you are interested in the car I used to travel back in time initially as I discussed back in the late 90s. But I keep telling you people, that car was just a period model so I’d look inconspicuous. I think it was a Dolerean or something like that. Very standard for the time. Time machines are not standard in most cars from my time, but if you get licensed after a 45 minute safety course you can have one installed. Most people get these so that they can get to work on time when they are running late. This would be fine, but a lot of people are too lazy to kill the time travel duplicate like they should, and there are tons of frequently late people clogging the streets now.

One fact about cars that you may enjoy is that they now drive themselves for the most part. This should appeal to you since you are all so lazy and drunk all the time.

This fan art was made for one purpose only, to save Krishna’s beard, see this blog post on PC Weenies for more information.

That is all.

PS I tried very hard to draw cars, see this and this attempt.
