Launched in 2008 as an interfaith project by Southwark Council, Koruso! initially drew people from a wide variety of religious backgrounds. More recently it has evolved into a cross-community choir where people of all beliefs (and none) have found a way of harmonising through the power of music.

Taking this new direction in their stride, the choir’s members aim for a repertoire which bridges cultures and unites faiths, choosing to perform sacred music from all religions, alongside works which simply celebrate different ways of being human.

Koruso! will be taking to the Making Music Open Stage at 15.40 on Saturday.
