He should have just sucked it up and stayed in 2PM. There, I said it. I know I’m in the minority but I’m so tired of people supporting his decision. If he truly did quit due to those stupid MySpace comments than that’s lame. Sorry but I’m so not into the “but he was being responsible” or “they made him” bullshit. He should have been responsible to his group, but instead now the other members are left feeling the heat due to those have chosen to boycott 2PM. I was upset just the same as everyone, but that is so not fair. The others have worked so hard and for what? Low sales and bad attitudes from “fans”. Now, don’t get me wrong, I would cut him some slack if he really had been wanting to quit and was miserable, but not for the “scandal”. Something that also really bugged me was that he quit without having something to fall back on. He joined JYP because he didn’t want to go to college, so obviously education is not his first option. And yeah, I know he was going to a university in Korea, but well, he left and is probably going to be expelled for not bothering to fill out the paperwork to take a leave of absence.

Also, I actually got into somewhat of an argument with my friend’s mom about this. She was one of these he-didn’t-choose-too-leave-they-made-him followers. After thinking about it, the whole thing was really odd.

On the popular russian networking site named ‘V Kontakte’ had more than 100 fan cafes that were dedicated to Korean pop culture. The most popular korean pop icons in Russian are Lee Hyori, Rain, Wonder Girls, Girls’ Generation, 2ne1, 2PM, 2AM, and SHINee. Cafes dedicated to actors Lee Jun-ki, Kong Yoo, Kang Dong-won, Kim Ah-joong and Song Hye-gyo have hundreds of members. The latest Korean TV shows, such as “Boys Over Flowers,” as well as shows that aired years ago enjoy enormous popularity in Russia.

It has been only two years since the Russain youth, they are huge fans of Samsung. They were once HUGE shippers of the Japanese culture, with girls trying to look like anime girls and sushi everywhere, but recently many teenagers have been hit the Korean Wave as more and more teenagers are being inspired by the Korean culture.

College student Anastasya Petuhova, 20, said, “Korean songs are very exciting. The choreography is also unique and stylish. The music industry in Korea is highly advanced because many groups compete for popularity.”

One Korean professor who teaches Korean in Moscow said, “A growing number of students want to study Korean. The popularity of Korean culture in Russia will contribute to the development of both nations.”

The other day it was revealed that the lovely girl group KARA would be the next Kpop celebrity videogame characters/models/endorsers for the basketball videogame ‘Freestyle,’ the Wonder Girls being the first. More promo photos of KARA sporting their cat costumes were released and without a doubt the pics define the term “eye candy.”

The photos range from cutesy to sultry, offering a little something for everyone whether you prefer one over the other–I’m in the other category. Personally, my favorite pics are Goo Hara and Park Gyuri’s, then Nicole’s, then Goo Hara’s, then Goo Hara’s again, then Goo Hara’s one more time…I think you get the point. On a recent episode of Star Golden Bell, Brown Eyed Girl Narsha revealed that a younger male celebrity had asked her out.

She stated, “A male celebrity had asked me out, but I said no because he was younger than me. He then replied, asking me to see him as a man instead of as a younger brother.“

Many fans are probably excited on hearing this news since it was the virtual couple’s first time vacationing together. And from the sounds of it, Jo Kwon seemed pretty excited as well, as he had planned the whole honeymoon! However, the honeymoon may not have went as well as Jo Kwon had hoped for.

During their honeymoon, the couple did many things. One of the things they decided to do was to go maple watching—an event in which people admire the fall colors of the trees—while biking. It was uncovered that SHINee Minho’s ideal girl is Yuri not Goo Hara.

On ‘Invincible Youth’ aired on the 27th of November,
Minho voted his ideal out of the G7: Goo Hara (Kara), Narsha (Brown Eyed Girls), Yuri (SNSD),
Sunny (SNSD), Hyomin (T-Ara), Sunhwa (Secret), Hyuna (4 Minute).

It was announced earlier this week that not one but three of the members of f(x) had been diagnosed with swine flu. After a week of speedy recovery, Amber, Krystal, and Sulli have been confirmed to resume their activities on the 30th.

On the 28th, a representative of the group stated, “Amber, Krystal, and Sulli went to the hospital today and it was declared that they had fully recovered.” The group had gone to the hospital on the 22nd and the three girls were diagnosed with the virus the next day. Luna and Victoria were also tested but their results came up negative.

The group had recently released their first single Chu~♡ but promotions had to be halted due to this trio’s absence from the group. Looking forward to the quintet’s return!
