[track 01] This track is something special! A collaboration between LA based Musician/Composer Bei Bei and UK based Multi-instrumental/Producer Shawn Lee. Vocals by the acclaimed singer Georgia Anne Muldrow. If that’s not enough UK Producer Floating Points did this crazy remix. Enjoy!

[track 02] Another blessing from my man Dorian! But I also gotta give some credits to the talented Amsterdam Based volalist Mar. That man is building a steady reputation these last months(mostly with friend and Producer Full Crate).

[track 03] I got this Gus Gus track from the PI soundtrack after a revisit to the fantastic world of one of my favorite directors; Darren Aronofsky! If your not familiar with PI yet, go and help yourself..

[track 04] Crazy track by multi-talented artist Julien Dyne Producer & Visual Artist. Check out his debut album; Pins & Digits. Good stuff.

[track 05] Great new track based around some haunted bell, with wooden 2step beat from the genius Burial! Benji B dropped this on his 1Xtra show so sorry for voiceover, there isn’t a clean version yet..

[track 06] A nice remix from the Godfathers of Lounge; The Kruder & Dormeister.

[track 07+10] New tracks from the other half of Herald Of Change; Mike Slott A.K.A. Slottkavicsthe. Coming from his long anticipated album LuckyMe. 23 Halfs is a slow-moving number rife with space-noise, warbling bass, and a variety of influences from jazz to R&B. Then Amanallah a Dilla-inspired boom-bap-crunch and ’80s synths track. enjoy!

[track 08] A fantastic track from Floating Points caled Truly of the new Vacuum EP. Truly contrasts with a gradually phasing groove, shifting between electronic minimalism and heavy smudged disco soul like few others out there!

[track 09] Simpely the best Electro/Hiphop crossover of the year!

[track 11] Distance is the immediate dancefloor track, sounding like a face-on collision of Flying Lotus style mid tempo swing beats and the very finest Skwee electronics. It can get a bit overwhelming at times with some high end frequency abuse but in a club situation this will rule.

[track 12] A love song for the mp3 generation, and however indecipherable Aidy’s digitized musings are, a sense of humanity pervades and betrays a very real sense of frustration over having a computer for a surrogate lover.

[track 13] Florence is totally over-the-top orchestral radio pop, so of course, since The XX isn’t over-the-top anything, they strip it all away and rebuild an intensely quiet 2-step/funky anthem with calypso tumbles and trademark whispers.

[track 14] Track from the follow up to the brilliant debut Striking EP which further explores minimalistic funk and passionate soul.

[track 15] The debut track from the collaboration between dance music veteran Armand van Helden and DJ A-Trak. It’s a winner with fresh guitars, synths and drums, effortlessly re-fit for today with some deft control touches by the duo.

[track 16] Closing track by newcomer Dean High.

Those of you who have trawled through my links list along the left side of this page may have stumbled across the Japanese FMusic.Sakura.ne site, which stores links to hundreds of unusual and hard to find mixes, from a truly eclectic selection of DJs from around the world… It’s well worth taking a look around, if you have a few hours to kill (even if, like me, you can’t read Japanese… it’s laid out simply enough for even me to be able to work out how to use it).

Compost Records recently held an event to celebrate their 15 year anniversary at the Muffatwerk nightclub in Munich, Germany. Compost have been responsible for some of the most influential tracks of recent times, from artists such as Truby Trio, Eddy Meets Yannah, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Beanfield and Christian Prommer to name but a few. Their ‘Future Sounds Of Jazz’ compilations are also must-haves in any self-respecting slightly-leftfield underground-club collection.

Anyway, the nice people at Compost kindly recorded the sets from their 15 year anniversary party, and links for you to listen to the sets (from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Jazzanova, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Eddy Meets Yannah, and Beanfield) can be found on the FMusic.Sakura.ne website:

Oldum olası caz mevhumunun zengin sınıfın tekeline düşmesine kıl olmuşumdur. Caz dinlemek için ya%5′lik dilime gireceksiniz ya da ciddi para biriktirmeniz gerek. Böyle olunca her ne kadar ilgi duysam da canlı performansları düzenli takip etmek imkansız olmuştur İstanbul’da.

Ne yazık ki son 2-3 yılda alakalı kişiler el ele verip (lounge FM, Babylon vs…) bu durumun aynısını elektronik müzik için de geçerli kıldılar. Tebrikler valla. Bonobo ilk istanbul konserinde 25 liraya çaldı. Ondan sonra hemen tarife arttı. Lounge FM’in festivali ise resmen ‘kalbur üstü değilsen bulaşma’ demekte. Lounge FM’in etkinlik duyurularını nerede duysam sinirim atıyor artık.

Bu müzisyenler Avrupa’da sürekli bir yerlerde çalmaktalar ve bilet fiyatları 15 ile 30 € arasında değişiyor (Satın alma gücü paritesini de dikkate almak lazım). Ama her ne hikmetse, bize geldiklerinde fiyatlar bir kaç kez katlanıyor.

Neyse, nerden geldik bu konuya, Kruder  & Dorfmeister. 20 Ekim’de İstanbul’a geliyorlar. Bilet fiyatı 56 Lira Biletix’te. Biletix öpücükleri hariç. Bildiğim kadarıyla çok gelmiyorlar İstanbul’a. Güzel bir fırsat olabilir. Ya da yarım saat çalıp giderler, olmayabilir.

Oggi inizia la settimana della moda milanese, una delle fashion week più amate e apprezzate nel mondo. Ma quest’anno non si limiterà a rivolgersi solo agli operatori del settore, ma anche a noi comuni mortali. L’esempio più lampante è l’evento “Milano Loves Fashion”, organizzato con C’n'C Costume National: si tratta di una serata che unisce musica e moda, in uno scenario importante e decisamente non convenzionale, ovvero in Piazza Duomo. Porteranno la moda, con la sfilata della nuova collezione C’n'C, la danza, con la partecipazione di Eleonora Abbagnato, e la musica, con i The Kills e Kruder & Dorfmeister. Altro grande ospite è il regista Paolo Sorrentino.  Il tutto inizierà alle 20.15 di giovedì 24 Settembre.

Un altro appuntamento da non perdere è quello del 25 Settembre alle ore 19.00, presso La Rinascente di Corso Vittorio Emanuele, sempre nel centro di Milano. Le protagoniste sono le tre intramontabili top degli anni ‘90, scelte come testimonials della nuova linea di profumi D&G. Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer e Eva Herzigova saranno ospiti insieme agli stilisti.

Per quanto riguarda la nightlife, molti party a invito, ma anche molte one night, come la serata Punks Wear Prada, che in occasione della settimana della moda si sposta al Tunnel, noto locale milanese in via Sammartini. La serata promette una full di modelle e volti noti del campo della moda, la data è sempre il 25 Settembre.

Jede Jahreszeit hat ihren Reiz. Der Winter eine kalte Klarheit, der Frühling ein Erwachen aus der Lethargie, der Sommer ein unbeschwertes Lebensgefühl und der Herbst eine nachdenklich-schöne Schwermütigkeit. Zu allen 4 Jahreszeiten passt aber die gleiche Musik. Was vor vielen Jahren noch als Geheimtipp und Abfallprodukt der elektronischen Tanzmusik auf Mittelmeerinseln begonnen hat, ist mittlerweile für die Musikindustrie ein großes Geschäftsfeld mit neuem Namen und träumerischem Lifestyle geworden. Die Helden-Compilations der ersten Stunden heißen “Cafe del Mar”, “Hotel Costes”, “Listening Pearls”,”Lebensart” und die Wiener Lounge-Knaben “Kruder&Dorfmeister”. Sucht heute mal online oder im CD-Laden nach Lounge, und ihr werdet mit CDs zugebombt. Jeder Musiker und jedes Label fühlen sich berufen, auf den Entspannungszug aufzuspringen, was zur Folge hat, dass unheimlich viel Misst auf die Silberlinge gepresst wird. Wer echte Perlen hören will, muss sich entweder richtig gut auskennen, lange suchen oder mir vertrauen.

Im Sommer letzten Jahres startete Hit-Radio FFH zusammen mit den 5 größten privaten Radiostationen Deutschlands verschiedene Webradio-Kanäle, die über die Homepages der Sender zu hören sind. Für den Lounge-Sender habe ich bis heute die komplette musikalische Verantwortung und stelle weiterhin die besten Lounge-Tracks zum Entspannen, Inspirieren und Untermalen zusammen. Zum Start von FFH-Lounge konnte ich sogar 1 Jahr lang Donnerstags von 22 Uhr bis 00 Uhr dem ganze FFH-Land mit meiner eigenen Lounge-Sendung über UKW und Kabel die schönsten Klänge näher bringen und das Lounge-Webradio so bekannter machen. Mit großem Erfolg, denn mein Lounge-Webradio chillt jetzt auch über den Wolken. Im Ferienflieger CONDOR können alle Reisenden FFH-Lounge über Kopfhörer an ihrem Sitz genießen und dabei die Wolken beobachten. Gibt es etwas schöneres? FFH-Lounge könnt ihr natürlich auch überall dort hören, wo ihr Entspannung nötig habt, oder zu soften Beats und schönen Stimmen konzentrierter arbeiten könnt. Ab sofort natürlich in meinen Linkempfehlungen und bitte hier entlang.

Peter Kruder i Richard Dorfmeister – tworcy przegenialnych dzwiekow, zakodowanych przeze mnie juz dosyc dawno w slawetnym, nieistniejacym juz  klubie szczecinskim, zwanym potocznie “szostkami”. To tam jeden z wlascicieli czestowal nas nowinkami z londynskich klubow i tam wlasnie -  nastoletnia ja -  poznalam miedzy innymi Portishead, Massive Attack no i dwoch panow z Wiednia. K&D jakos tak automatycznie dotarli do najczulszych moich pokladow wrazliwosci sluchacza i zadomowili sie tam na amen. Dostalam hopla na punkcie ich muzyki a trzeba zaznaczyc, ze w “tamtych czasach” zdobycie niekomercyjnej plyty nie nalezalo do najlatwiejszych zadan. Tak dlugo zameczalam sprzedawcow ze sklepow muzycznych az wreszcie mi zamowili i sciagneli. Pamietam, ze cena byla zwalajaca z nog no ale tak to juz bywa w zyciu, ze ekstaza laczy sie niejednokrotnie z cierpieniem…coz…kupilam ofkors… i zostalam fanem absolutnym. Najpierw albumu “g-stone” i nieco pozniej dwuplytowego ” kd sessions”. Dub, fusion i drum’n'bass robil sie coraz bardziej popularny ale moi ulubieni panowie jakos niekoniecznie, co dodatkowo mnie w ich kierunku pociagalo. Bywalo calkiem smiesznie jak pytana przez nowych znajomych czego slucham, odpowiadalam z powaga “krudera i dorfmeistra” i zawsze potem zapadala klopotliwa cisza..heh.. w sumie to do dzis tak jest. Duet juz dawno sie rozpadl…Dorfmeister stworzyl projekt o nazwie “Tosca” – tez lubie i tez mam plyty ale sentyment do K&D pozostal. Specyfika brzmienia K&D jest naprawde wyjatkowa, ich dzwieki potrafia idealnia zlac sie z tlem, wtopic w sciany i przestrzen – jednoczesnie nie tracac nic ze swojej mocy…Moze dzieki tym niskim, leniwym basom..ktore wydaja sie pulsowac razem z krwia sluchacza…

Nie ma co wiecej pisac o dzwiekach bo dzwiekow przede wszystkim nalezy sluchac. Zapraszam.
