Before I forget to post a wallpaper for this week, I think I’m going to post one here before I leave for meeting. It’s Kusakabe Misuzu from 11eyes which I modify the picture from espada00001.animepaper.net to add a fire brush surrounding her. I also dimmed the brightness since the red is not very friendly. Enjoy!

This exhibition shows the private collection of Japanese photography built up by Italian photographer Benito Francia, who lived in Yokohama from 1862 onwards. Reflecting the 19th-century interest in the west for all things ‘exotic’ – a reaction to the materialism imposed by industrial society – thousands of Japanese hand-painted photographs were exported to Europe and the US. Francia’s album contains a hundred photos, all of great beauty, signed by the commercial photographer Kusakabe Kimbei. The subjects are inspired by traditional Japanese prints, including landscapes, posed shots and customs.

So now I’m all caught up with screencaps! ^_^ At the moment I’m working on transliterating songs from Moetan which will take a bit to get all of them, but I have nothing better to do sooo yeah. After that I’ll do the songs from Higurashi too. Also soon I plan on watching Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan and also Dai Mahou Touge, so be on the lookout.

Creo que muchos creadores de ficción se maravillarían de la creatividad de algunos de sus fans. Sé que no todos se toman a bien que se hagan obras derivadas de la suya, como es el caso de Anne Rice o de J. K. Rowling, pero estoy convencido de que, tanto los creadores del anime de Lucky Star, como Kagami Yoshimizu, como la gente de Nintendo, sonreirían al ver cosas como esta:
