Hmmm…seems like there really are two sides to every story.

You know how on Teen Mom, Ryan is always acting super-mean and short with his baby-momma, Maci?

I’ve always thought it’s because he’s a douche, but if you believe what he told OK! Magazine in their latest issue, he may have a reason to be mean to her.

According to Ryan, Maci cheated on him with Kyle King (her current boo) while they were still “engaged!” This all happened when Bentley was four months old.

Was Maci swayed away from Ryan by the lustful calls of Kyle? Nope, says Ryan.

Here’s an excerpt from the article:

“We were sitting in the living room and she just told me,” says Ryan, whose job as a diesel engine mechanic often took him away from home. “It probably happened when I was at work.”

The betrayal was worsened by the fact that Kyle had been a friend to Ryan — he even apologized after the truth came out. “Kyle texted Ryan and said, ‘I’m so sorry. Maci didn’t tell [me] the truth. She said you were broken up,’” Ryan’s father, Larry Edwards, tells OK! exclusively. “I believe him. Kyle didn’t mean to hurt Ryan.”

Wow…so Maci not only did some other dude, but also told the other dude she wasn’t in a relationship? With his friend? LOVE IT!

As sure as I am of my beautiful tan, I’m sure you are all out there wondering how the 1st Friday went down. Well I’d like to state that even though events did not go according to plan, ’twas a night to remember nevertheless. Your favorite sports superstar would like to make a few specific points.

1] Warden Wolf is my new favorite person. The beautiful hair, the quick wit, the piercings, the glorious bouquet of aromas that comes from his long, thick…Whoa! Well anyway, the dude is f’in rad.

2] Sometimes in life kiddies, ya get a big ‘ol dose of reality. It’s rarely easy or enjoyable to deal with, but the fact is you should thank the person who had the insight to dish out this incredible knowledge, and make any and all life changes that this revelation demands.

Why am I so picky?  Why are dames so predictable? Can’t you be a reasonably attractive young lady who’s also not a total C-bomb? I’m looking for too much I guess. Also ladies, just a quick heads-up, if the guy you’re dating isn’t talking about sex, STOP TALKING ABOUT IT. Not everyone wants to talk about it all the time. I know you’re raised to think that all we neanderthals do is think with our testicles, but it isn’t always so. Just like you’ll let us know when we’ve pissed you off by nailing all our friends, we’ll let you know when the time is right for the love chatter. And by love I mean fucking. Was that enough vitriol? Perhaps not, as just when I seem to have thought myself a master of this dating game my own body has turned me on myself. What happened to the days of the random hookup? When I didn’t care who’s feelings got hurt as long as I got laid? Those were the fucking days! Quite literally, in fact. Ah. Why is it that being a mature adult has to suck so much? Being a grown up just means sacrifice to me. All day. Every day. Fuck this. Poop. Scoop.

By the way, OKGO is coming through with a new album later this year, and I couldn’t be more excited. Those cats are geniuses. Where the Wild Things Are, new OKGO, if I survive, the fall may just be great.

According to E News the 20-year-old fan Kyle King from Orlando was arrested for breach of peace and released on $250 cash bond. He is expected at Norwich Superior Court on June 18.

Kyle competed against 27 total riders on that Sunday, but his horse proved to be faster and more careful than the rest of the pack. “Gigolo is a really nice horse that I’ve just begun to ride. He is just a naturally fast horse with a big stride,” said Kyle King to the HITS press release.

Now, we also don’t want to forget last week either when Kyle won again on Blair Cudmore’s horse Paola.

The second heat of Friday’s men’s 5000 provided track fans with a fantastic example of what is easily the most confounding issue in the entire sport. The first six runners from both heats plus the next four fastest times were to advance to the final. (For those who might have forgotten: If you make the final you theoretically have a chance to make the Olympic team, which is kind of a big deal.) The first heat predictably was slow. How, then, could the runners in the second heat allow their race to go out so slowly? This is the great unanswerable question of track and field. The top runners can’t be blamed. Chris Solinsky, for example, knew he was making the final no matter what, so his clear goal was to expend as little energy as possible. But if you’re someone like Ryan Bak or James Strang, why are you not working together to at least make sure the pace is respectable? If the top ten had all broken 13:57 — easily within the capability of everyone in the field — they make the final, leaving only two non-qualifiers from the heat.

Yet there they were, strolling through their first two miles. When it became obvious that Solinsky, Ian Dobson, Bolota Asmerom, Galen Rupp, and Bobby Curtis were going to take five of the six automatic qualifying spots, USA/NBC smartly shifted their attention to the backstretch battle between Kyle King and Ryan Bak for sixth. King ended up getting the last spot for the final, and fortunately for him his Olympic dream is still alive. Bak undoubtely gave his best effort, and missing out on the final in both a last lap kick and an extremely slim time margin (barely more than half a second) has to be rough. Presumably he’ll be replaying the last lap over and over in his mind as he falls asleep tonight. But the lap that should really keep him, as well as all of the runners who filed in behind him, awake is the first one, when it became clear that the slower-seeded runners were perfectly willing to allow their elusive shot at the Olympic team come down to a last mile roll of the dice.

Moving along, it’s a shame we weren’t able to see the first heat, because looking at the results, it had some interesting subplots. The big dogs all made it through easily, with the exception of 13:18 man and proud grandfather Brent Vaughn. Something tells me that Vaughn wasn’t feeling good about his chances of making the final after crossing the line in tenth with a time of 14:06.90, yet he lives to fight another day. Even worse, I bet the simple truth of running like crap at the wrong time was a lot easier for Hassan Mead to swallow than somehow missing the final by only .55 seconds. Distance running, as always, reveals its propensity to be as cruel as it is wonderful.

And lastly, Galen Rupp generously provided his army of haters (I’m a Lieutenant Colonel) with a perfectly valid reason to root against him in Monday’s final by hamming it up like a complete idiot during the final straightaway of his heat. What looked to be a respectful, non-competitive finish by the top five instantly became a gratuitous attempt by Rupp to soak up as much love as possible from the hometown crowd. Whatever. All I have to say is thank God McDougal took Rupp down in NCAA cross this year.
