Bonjour à tous, ça faisait longtemps que j’avais pas posté de message !

Alors, premièrement le cours de géographie fait par la remplaçante de Monsieur Beugras est mis en ligne. Ensuite, pour ceux qui n’ont pas encore lu le cours d’histoire récemment, Monsieur Beugras m’a envoyé la fin du cours d’histoire sur les Trente Glorieuses. Vous devrez le connaître à son retour !

Voilà, ensuite je vais rester poli mais il y quelque chose qui m’a énervé récemment sur le blog : pendant les vacances Laetitia m’a réclamé un schéma qui je n’avais pas eu le temps de faire au propre. D’une, je crois que Laetitia est responsable de l’agenda et ne s’en occupe pas du tout, donc bon merci de pas me souler parce que les schémas (que je passe du temps à faire au propre sur mon ordi) ne sont pas mis en ligne immédiatement (surtout qu’on ne s’occupe pas soi-même des tâches SIMPLES qu’on a à faire). Deuxièmement, elle ne m’a jamais remercié.

Certains d’autres savent que c’est le genre de choses qui m’énerve, mais je vais faire un effort pour rester le plus calme possible, cela dit Laetitia je t’ai supprimée du blog et Jules prendra le relais pour s’occuper l’agenda bientôt.

Je vous passe mes cours d’histoire-géographie sans contrepartie (et je n’en attends pas) mais je ne suis pas votre chien. Même si j’attends pas de vous que vous nous adoriez, je sais que vos être nombreux à vous servir sur le blog que ce soit en philo avec Clélia, en SES avec Arthur ou histoire géographie avec moi, mais je sais aussi qu’on ne reçoit quasiment aucun commentaire un peu positif, ou quelque remerciement. De plus, Clélia travaille deux fois plus que nous puisqu’elle retape POUR VOUS à l’ordinateur ce qu’elle a déjà écrit à la main. Apparemment, personne ne s’en rend compte, personnellement je le faisais l’année dernière en histoire et je peux vous dire que c’est super long à faire. Alors je le répète, nous ne sommes pas vos chiens. Ce blog ne vous est pas dû et je peux le supprimer quand je veux et laisser dans la merde ceux qui ne prennent pas leurs cours.

Voilà, j’ai poussé ma gueulante. A bientôt pour d’autres mises à jours.

Nous en etions a Jujuy, la deuxieme soiree passee dans cette fort sympathique petite ville, a ete enrichissante.
et oui en effet, nous avons cuisine nos premieres empanadas a la viande  guidees par un des receptionistes de lauberge. nous avons aussi innove la cuisine Argentine en proposant des empanadas banane chocolat …elles ont bien sur plues a l’unanimité!

le lendemain en remballant nos affaires, nous avons ete interviewees pàr la TELE!!!! et oui, nous sommes des grandes stars dans le pays… apres quelques minutes de celebrite, nous avons pris la route vers Humahuaca.
la route etait longue et les montees devenaient de plus en plus raides…le poids de la triplette nous faisait faire presque du surplace! c est apres 40km que nous decidons de faire une pause au bord de la route en tendant le pouce sans trop d espoir… Au bout d une heure d attente dans un desert rocheux type arisonien un gentil camioneur bresilien charge la triplette sur sa remorque et nous amene a Volcan… petit village desertique et farouche! la triplette n avait plus un effet attractif mais plutot repoussant, les habitants etaient plus que craintifs en nous voyant debarquer!!!

apres une nuit dans le seul et unique hotel (en construction), nous reprenons la route des 9h du matin. les passants nous sourient et sont plus detendus. Nous pedalons un 20aine de km pour arriver a Purmamarca, village typique au milieu de la vallee des 7 couleurs. Sur le marche artisanal nous attisons les curiosites et la triplette fait concurrence a l artisanat local et au splendide paysage qui se dessine autour de nous.
les gens prennent des photos de la triplette, de nous, de cla triplette et nous, ils nous touchent et nous felicitent!!!
nous faisons quelques achats et nous renfourchons le velo. belle descente…

Mosaic Wine Group recently had the opportunity to spend a wonderful evening of great food and wine in Rockwall, Texas, hosting the first wine dinner at Restaurant Ava. The spectacular six-course dinner was paired with a selection of wines from the Mosaic Wine Group portfolio and was a fantastic way to launch their wine dinner program. Chef / Owners Randall Copeland and Nathan Tate pulled out all the stops for this menu and the crowd was delighted with the seamless stream of food and wine pairings.

Greeting guests was a trio of hors d’oeuvres, including a White Gazpacho Soup, Jonah’s Crab Salad and Chicken Confit with Shiitake Mushrooms on Toast Points paired with the 2007 Bisol Crede Prosecco.

First Course was a ‘Fig Duet’, which included a Turkish Fig Tart with Paula’s Goat Cheese and Golden Celeste Figs drizzled with fresh orange blossom honey. This was paired with the 2007 Abbazia di Novacella Kerner, from this historic producer in Alto-Adige, founded in the year 1142.

Second course was an absolutely brilliant butter-poached lobster with taragon, lemon verbena and a house-made sweet corn tortelloni. This creamy-textured dish was paired with the well-structured 2007 Chateau Graville-Lacoste, a White Bordeaux from Graves.

Moving on, the next course was one of the crowd favorites of the night – a wood grilled pork loin with potato-leek perogi, mustard greens and a whole grain mustard jus, which paired incredibly well with the 2007 Laetitia Estate Pinot Noir from Arroyo Grande Valley in the Central Coast of California.

The fantastic menu pairings continued with a smoky Meyer ribeye pave and fresh basil, kalamata olives and local tomatoes, which was an incredible compliment to the 2007 Aglianico from Terredora di Paolo in Campania.

After an intermezzo of fresh local peach sorbet, the night was capped off with a delightful dessert to remember – (friend of the family) Eileen’s Carrot Cake served with a carrot-reduction and cream cheese ice cream, paired with a Muscat Beaumes de Venise from producer Domaine du Durban in the Southern Rhone Valley of France.

It was certainly an evening to remember for those able to attend. Rockwall is just a short drive from downtown Dallas, and you should check this restaurant out as soon as possible. Their philosophy of utilizing local farmers, the freshest produce and meats available and (of course) supporting the portfolio of Mosaic Wine Group make this a restaurant destined for long-term success!

A FRENCH artist who painted Susan Boyle as a saucy cigar-smoking sexpot has received death threats by fanatical Americans.

Laetitia Guilbaud was left “very scared” after being targeted in a hate campaign run by fundamentalist Christians from Texas.

The 24 year-old had to call in the police after 200 sick hate letters from furious SuBo fans who said she should be “crucified” for depicting the Scots singer as a sex kitten.

Her quirky picture, titled ‘Ooh La La Susan Boyle’ shows the Britain’s Got Talent star wearing racy pink lingerie, holding a champagne flute while sucking on a cigar.

The artist, who insists she is a SuBo fan, said: “When I read the first few emails I was very scared. Some of them were threatening me.

“I one week I got thousands of blog hits and emails. About 200 were sick. They came from Texas.”

One of the emails said: “This work is a mean depiction of a precious child of god.

“The artist should be crucified.”

Another read: “Susan is an angel. She would never behave in this way. Guilbaud should look to God and pray there is no retribution.”

The painting is due to be unveiled at the ArtDeCaf in Glasgow later this month, along with her notorious image of SNP deputy leader Nicola Sturgeon.

Laetitia added: “My artwork was never intended to insult or be hurtful.

“I am a fan of Susan.”

The £1500 painting is available to purchase on the ArtDeCaf website, but will hang on the gallery walls for the summer.

Friday. I can’t believe it. Der gefühlte Wochentag ist Montag waaaaaaaaaaah.

Wasn’t I clever to push OneBBO’s hand when she was weighing the grains for the quiche which she is going to take on Saturday? She didn’t get it, of course, immediately. “So much pastry”, she sighed repeatedly, when mixing it. “My reputation as good whole grain baker will dwindle away when I pop up with a quiche with a pastry 1 cm thick!” I could help of course “How about making two quiches?” She stared at me blankly, little eyes darting from left to right. “What do you mean Laetitia?” Ducky was lifting both her wings simultaneously to indicate WHAT I meant.

“Well, we all want your reputation to be saved. So if you make two quiches we’ll sacrifice ourselves and eat it.” 10 minutes silence. “But I haven’t got enough apricots for two quiches!” “No problem”, I smiled, “we can get some in Plus tomorrow morning, you know, on our lovely morning walk”. Ducky gave me a suspicious glance. OneBBO stared into the distance. “Ähhhh yes, Laetitia, we’ll do that”.

So now I’m determined that her hand might also “slip” when weighing the honey…. waaaaaaaaaaah.

Good Morning Laetitia,
You have obviously been very busy on my (our) behalf, encouraging pastry partitioning and nudging hands at the critical moment during honey transfer operations. And I noticed how effective this had been when I had the delicious Friday brekkie replete with lots of soaked Hafer, making a not only delicious but also highly nutritious repast.
And an apricot quiche for the weekend as well, I like apricots especially, as you know. You have really proved a most loyal and devoted acolyte and I am thinking of awarding you a “Quiche Medaille Erster Klasse” for this so you can wear it on ceremonial occasions.
It was already 23 °C when I left the Palace this morning to come here so I am already feeling a bit limp, which is why this mail will be drawing to a close now. If we can stop the cards sticking to our fingers, we might have a game of 1000 km if you like …

There’s some new thing on the balcony for the birdes. A Futterspender it is called. They haven’t discovered it yet. We wonder what will happen… The cats aren’t hungry this morning, nothing touched yet. Or do they finally realize who and what OneBBO really is and thus fearfully stay away despite our 25th sister’s constant propanda?

She’s thinking of founding a Pro-OneBBO-Club, POC for short, and is advertising for it at the pond hoping that all ducks will join and knowing that none of us will join this club waaaaah.

Although I don’t know either Swedish or Latin I was very excited about this intelligent exchange of opinions yesterday. None of my sisters can point to anything like this!

I think the constantly swelling army of cats that regularly descend upon the terrace will not be put off from their food (the new “Futter Boy” included) even if OneBBO turned out to be Satan incarnate.
Yet another club in the Forest! As you say, though, its membership would probably be 100 % duckish, but there again I don’t think ducks are much given to “Vereinsmeierei”. But we shall see.

As regards these forays into Latin, I feel called upon to translate yesterday’s little jingle into English (for the ducks):
Brutus had some jam for tea. Caesar had a rat. Brutus sick in omnibus. Caesar sick in hat.

Which makes me recall another saying I learned – all those years ago – when starting latin in the first form at Bear School:

Laetitia is wearing a pink hood. She’s one of these rather pleasant mushrooms, determined in what she does but without pushing too much. She’s not involved with the ATC. She’s studying French and Volkswirtschaft, which is quite unusual because most mushrooms don’t like French. Since the KOF’s French is very good she feels a special bond to him because of her studies. Her song was one of the latest chosen.

Yes, a definite touch of “haute culture” (and possible “haute couture”) has entered the hallowed halls of OneBBO’s Castle (actually, of course, you are here all the time, but this is different).
Let’s hope we don’t all die of heat stroke by the time lasagna day arrives, now that they are getting good again, full of soft, sticky Ersatzkäse and bolognese and pasta mmmmm. However, as mama bear used to say “Don’t wish your life away” so let’s concentrate on the ‘here and now’.
So let us start the sweating by having a nice hot cup of tea to get the old grey cells throbbing … then we can have a look at the news WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Vandaag had ik een super leuke dag samen met Nella, Ans en Laetitia …. we hebben op het strand geshoot met super mooie kleren  Ik heb het echt naar mijn zin gehad en het klikte direct héél goed met iedereen! De foto’s zullen super zijn  Morgen mag ik eindelijk terug gaan dansen met de Cheerleaders want tijdens de examens was dat onmogelijk ! We zullen nog veel moeten repeteren want binnenkort is het het Belgisch Kampioenschap Cheerleaders  Vandaag kreeg ik ook mijn rapport drama en voordracht  Ik heb massa’s goede punten en héél véél complimentjes gekregen

Mosaic Wine Group recently visited owner and chef Lin Cheng at Hayashi in Cedar Park, where Laetitia Estate Pinot Noir is proudly poured by the glass. The décor at Hayashi is chic and the music is hip (think 1960s yé-yé) and the sushi is the among the best we’ve ever had. The bright flavors and gorgeous acidity in Laetitia’s Pinot Noir pair brilliantly with the bold spiciness of Lin’s tuna poke.

Here’s what the winemaker Eric Hickey had to say about the 2007 Laetitia Estate Pinot Noir:

Pinot Noir yields were down in 2007 by 20% as compared to historic averages. As with many low-yielding vintages, the grapes were healthy and the flavors very good. Due to cool weather, this 2007 Estate Pinot Noir has slightly higher acidity. In a true test of the vintage’s merit, this wine did not require fining. All lots of Pinot Noir showed concentrated color upon de-stemming. The cold soak was 3 days and a quick fermentation occurred over a 4-day period. The Estate Pinot was aged for 11 months in an exclusive selection of French barriques, a combination of Francois Freres and Rousseau; with 30% being new oak.
