Lelouch is like any other highschooler, he goes to school, has his friends and plays a bit of chess.  In fact he is the heir of Brittania, the empire which took over Japan. His rights have been taken from his father, because his mother got killed when he was young.

Under the name ‘Zero’ Lelouch tries to take over the Brittanian empire with the help of the people from Area 11 (The Japanese people). He knows they’ll do anything to get their country back and Lelouch wants to have his rightful title.

Another reason why Lelouch is doing this is because he wants to protect Nunally, his blind sister. One day when he is on the battlefield, he gets driven into an alley by this robot.  In this alley he finds this girl with green hair, as soon as she kisses him (makes a deal, technically) with Lelouch. Something happens, he can use this weapon; named Geass. To make people to his bidding (which is convenient when he’s Zero) The girl is a godess named C.C. who has a wish..

All in all- a good anime to  watch with tons of mechanic fights since that are their weapons.

The (mostly)psycho-bishies of Code Geass. No Ohgi though...

In the last three weeks, I took it upon myself to watch ALL of Code Geass. That might not seem very fast to most, heck, I did half of the first season of Clannad in one night. But I’m too busy for major-marathons at the mo. So 2-3 episodes of CG was all I could manage, 4 if the 3rd episode had a major cliffhanger. And on several occasions that happened… which is probably why my sleep pattern has become even more loopy than it was before…

My first, and biggest observation of Geass is that it contains ALOT of crazy people. And evil crazy people at that. Though there are some really nice characters. Shirley, Milly, Rivalz(weird name…). There are some characters who started out nice but then something was revealed about them, like Suzaku. Or even Lulu’s mother(she turned out to be a crazy one too…). And seems pretty much most of the Black Knights had good intentions without being crazy. Must just be for the main characters… Anyways I think I’ll do like a chara-bio-imo lol. Shall be fun. For me, if not for anyone else hehehe.

First, Lulu, or full name, Lelouch Lamperouge (or Lelouch vi Britannia).

Lulu starts out as a ‘normal’ student. Sure he’s a Prince of the most powerful empire in the world. But that don’t matter much heheh. At first, all he wants is a peaceful world for his little sister Nunnally to live in, and to find out who killed his mother. But as you’ll know if you’ve seen Code Geass, it all goes horribly wrong. And ends up with him, becoming Zero, then becoming the emporer and basically committing suicide to make everyone happy again. I didn’t see his death coming, or at least how he died coming. But I kinda guessed he’d have to die. There’d be no way for him to come back from his decisions in R2. Which kinda sucks… Specially for Nunnally.

Nunnally Lamperouge

Lulu’s little sister. When he began his quest to destroy Britannia, it was all for Nunnally’s sake. And then in R2, she goes and takes back her old name, Nunnally vi Britannia and her nobility, and takes over where Euphie pretty much left off. And she even opens her eyes towards the end of R2. Which I’d been waiting for, for yonks lol.

Suzaku Kururugi(he has a funny family name lol)

Now, I thought/hoped he would just stay the nice guy, the childhood friend of Lulu. But noooooo. They had ta go and reveal he’d killed his father. And then make him go all psycho over the death of Euphie. Admittadly he has a right, after all his supposed best friend did kill her….only after he accidently turned her into a psycho. No one seems to be very lucky in this series.

Kallen Stadtfeld (or Kallen Kouzuki)

The younger sister of the ex-leader of the former resistance(thats a mouthful lol), who pretends to be a sickly student at the Ashford Academy. Half Japanese, half Brittanian. Her mother, living as a maid in her house, addicted to Refrain,(a drug if you haven’t seen it.) So she’s as messed up as most of the cast, for different reasons. Not as seriously messed up as some, like Lulu, but still, she’s got issues.

C.C

The immortal witch. Well… not so immortal at the end of the series. But thats her wish, right? To be able to finally die. Makes a pact with Lulu, eggs him on, protects him, eventually cares for him. Loses her memory, becomes cuter, gets her memory back. Gives her ‘Code’ to Charles(Lulu’s dad), and is no longer immortal. Also, she loves pizza. The stuffed crust cheese-bite kind is spotted several times in R2 lol.

This is how I wish it was, and would remain so.

Shirley Fenette (apparantly based on the look of Anne from the Anne of Green Gables anime. I remember listening to/reading that when I was younger… lol)

Shirley was my favourite character/girl even before I started watching. Going solely by the appearence of the Alpha x Omega Swim Cafe figure,(which I should be getting tomorrow…hehehe). Thankfully, when I started watching it became apparant she’d be a character I would like. Which made it all the more sucky when what happened in R2 happened… But before that, in season 1, also sucky. Such a nice girl, getting subjected to all that horrible stuff. Dad being killed, by Zero, the guy she loves. Then shooting someone to stop Zero from being captured and unmasked. And then she’s almost made to shoot Lulu, and then has her memories of Lulu wiped! But even after that, and the memory rewrite after season 1 ended, she still fell back in love with Lulu… and eventually gets her memories back, causing turmoil again. But deciding she wants to help Lulu. And in doing so, gets shot by that little bastard with the brother-complex, Rolo. And dies in Lulu’s arms… but not before confessing her love. Big emotional scene. I can’t remember if I cried…  I think I was more in shock than anything else…

Euphemia li Britannia

Lulu’s half sister. Made Suzaku her personal Knight. Asked him to love her. Which he did. Hence why he went a bit loopy when she died. Of course none of this would have happened if she hadn’t joined in with her sister, Cornelia. She wouldn’t have accidently had Geass cast on her… she wouldn’t have become known as the massacre princess, and wouldn’t have subsiquently been shot to stop her from shooting the 11’s. She was nice. Had pink hair.

Rivalz Cardemonde

One of the few non-messed up characters in Geass. He seems to have no real issues, apart from his unrequited love for Milly Ashford. And thats usual student stuff. So no real cause for worry lol. Just a happy guy who wants to have fun with his friends. Little does he know they’re all(well, the majority lol) psycho.

I remember this episode.. was funny.

 

Milly Ashford

Student president. A nice girl.  Becomes a weather girl. Even though she’s of noble decent. Sadly for Rivalz, she loves Lulu too. Little does she know how psychotic/obsessed/messed up he’s become. Briefly engaged to that crazy mechanic/scientist, Lloyd Asplund.

Ohgi Kaname & Villetta Nu

Another of the fairly un-psycho folk. Ohgi took overas head of the Resistance after Kallen’s oniichan died, this was obviously before Zero came in and became head honsho(or is it honcho?). He was made 2nd in command by Zero pretty much. One of my favourite parts of his story is Chigusa’s involvement. Or Villetta Nu, which is her real name. Found by Ohgi after she was shot by Shirley, taken in by the enemy and nursed back to health. Ohgi doesn’t have to heart kill her, even though she’s Brittanian. Eventually he falls in love with her, and her with him. And its all lovey-dovey and nice. Chigusa is nothing like the Villetta we knew before, and I wish she stayed that way. But she gets him memory back too, shoots Ohgi(he survives) at the end of season 1, and she goes back to the baddies(Brittania lol). Gets the noble status she wanted, and in R2, is one of the team watching over Lulu, to make sure his memories don’t come back. Eventually, they are reunited, and persuade the Black Knights and the others that overthrowing Zero is the best plan of action. After the Zero Requieum, they get married, have kids, the usual shtick. Oh and Ohgi becomes Prime Minister of Japan lol.

Rolo Lamperouge

Psycho kid with Geass power to freeze those around him for a certain length of time. Trained an assasin all his life due to his powers. He was put in place as Lulu’s little brother, when his memories were rewritten and Nunnally was removed. Rolo has a major brother-complex. And because of this brother-complex… he shot and killed Shirley… :grrrr:

Jeremiah Gottwald

Orange-kun! People were complaining he wasn’t included, so I’m including him now. He began as a purist, and got crazier and crazier as Zero taunted him with the name Orange-kun.(Orenji-kun!!! lol) Then he got almost killed. And got a high-tech body and then later on got a Geass Canceller, and then before he could kill Lulu, he changed sides… such a crazy guy…. I always just disregarded him, and forgot he was there  lol.

I’m not gonna cover all the characters…. too many… seriously too many lol. But I really enjoyed it. It was compelling enough. But hard to find characters to like. One minute Lulu’s all nice and brotherly, next he’s sacrificing troops and planning devious stuff. Even Ohgi betrayed Zero in the end… Rivalz really is the only guy who did nothing wrong lol. He wasn’t involved in any of the bad stuff. And my favourite characters kept almost dying… Ohgi twice… Shirley once(followed Lulu right into the battle…stupid girl…), 2nd time she did actually die…. But it was good, don’t regret watching. Now I’m starting Mahou Shojo Lyrical Nanoha. Watched the first episode last night. Very nice animation. Loved the scene of her running to find the ferret.(I’ll learn the proper names soon enough…. and then I’ll want the Nanoha figma I’m sure…. just like with Lulu…. lol)

Code Geass has long been ended but I’m still putting Lelouch on this week’s spotlight. He started as a student of Ashford Academy who, together with his friend Rivalz, likes to gamble with the nobles by playing chess. One day, after his game, they spotted a vehicle being hunted by the police. The vehicle was being driven by an Eleven (that’s how they call the Japanese) who opposes the Britannian rule. Lelouch, being curious with the vehicle, explored it himself. There he found a capsule-like thing which contains a girl with a long green hair. Afterwards, while on the verge of death because of the shot of a Britannian soldier, the girl he earlier found offered him a power which is called Geass. That’s how he obtained the Geass. By the way, his geass is “Geass of Absolute Obedience”.

Originally, his birthname is Lelouch vi Britannia. But after he was dethroned as the 11th Prince and became a hostage diplomat in Japan, he changed his name to Lelouch Lamperounge. It is for his revenge for his mother’s death (because he blames his father, Empreror Charles for not doing anything to protect his mother). The other characters who know about this are his bestfriend, Suzaku Kururugi and Ashford Academy Student Council President Milly Ashford.

As a Student

he is intelligent, even compared to a genius-level. He is often seen sleeping in class and likes to skip his P.E class (as he is not good with physical activities). Lelouch is the vice-president of Student Council. He is seen as a normal student in school.

As Zero

In order to crush down the Britannian regime and to carry out his revenge (and give Nunnally a better future), he used the Elevens and made a group called Order of the Black Kngihts. Under his rule, they helped many civilian Elevens to gain their trust. Thus they’re calling themselves the “Allies of Justice”. Being the leader, Lelouch used an alias “Zero” and wear a cape and mask to cover up his identity. So most of Black Knights members didn’t know his identity except for C.C and Kallen Stadtfeld (later on the series). Since he is intelligent, he can easily devised strategies which let to the success of the Black Knights. He is good at analyzing things and situations. Some events like the appearce of Mao and the kidnapping of Nunnally, and his fight with the Lancelot showed hsi intellectual skills.

Zero Requiem

After he learned about the Ragnarok plan of his parents, he realized that, afterall he’d done, he’s just a tool used for the completion of Ragnarok. So together with Suzaku, they made a plan which is called Zero Requiem. At the end of R2, it is revealed that, it is about the assassination of Empreor Lelouch (99th Emperor of Britannia) by Zero (wore by Suzaku). He did so for the restoration of peace, and end of his dictatorship, he accpeted all the worlds anger. It is also for the achievement of his dream for Nunnally to have a better future. He also cleaned the name Zero being the Ally of Justice.

The season two started a year after the “death” of Zero thus Lelouch returns to his normal highschool life. after his meeting with C.C again, he remembered his identity as Zero and what happened after the last episode of season one making Lelouch more revengeful than before.

I never thought that this season of Code Geass would be more intersting than its first season. Though I’m not a fan of CLAMP’s works, I love this series, plot-wise and art-wise.

Compared to its first season, R2 has a lot of twists and turns that will eventually keep you at the edge of your seats. it has beome darker and more dramatic as the characters verged more of their serious side. The characters maturity adds to the mind-boggling plot of the story.

Speaking of characters, some of the come-backing characters have their vengeful plots. Addition to that is the appearance of new characters which will surely make the story more interesting and may help in the unfolding of mysteries and questions previously arise from the season one.

The opening songs, O2 by Orange Range and World End by Colours are all good. While the ending song Shiawase Neiro is a bit sad (but still good) and the ending video looks based from manga.

All in all, if you’re really a hardcore fan of Code Geass then you’ll surely love this one. This is an action packed anime plus the mecha genre along with it.

I know, I know. I’m way behind the times. I mean, isn’t everyone else already on the second season?!

I’m just not particularly fond of CLAMP’s style or shows involving mechas, so it’s taken me a long time to take the plunge into Lelouch’s story. Now, though, I’m glad that I did. I love his sarcastic wit.

In this episode in particular, he compared himself to the Messiah, and then went on to tell his subordinates that any one of them could shoot him if they thought that they could win the war without him. Such arrogance! He reminds me of Death Note’s Raito. Of course, like Raito, he has reason to be.

They also appear to have killed Jeremiah, a.k.a.
Orange, by cooking him inside his Knightmare. It was pretty gruesome, but really served the purpose of showing how powerful the Black Knights’ new Japanese Guren is.

The biggest thing I’m wondering is when is Suzaku going to find out Lelouch’s secret? and what is he going to do about it?!

Also, when I was looking up pictures of this, I found this image and fell in love with it. I love the song Personal Jesus and the whole concept of fitting it with Lelouch is just great.

WHEE! Christmas comes early for Actar as I refer to myself in Third Person Perspective. I was delighted when I looked outside my house today to discover a package…

For those of you who don’t know, Good Smile Company (GSC) has a special promotion from the 10th to the 25th of Japan where if you buy a Figma from selected stores in Japan, you’ll receive a set of Christmas Accessories!

We in the rest of the world were in despair! ZETSUBO! Then, Hobby Search, one of my 2 favourite online stores, announced that they would be having a special campaign where online buyers of Figma items will be treated to the same promotion as those in Japan!

But then…

Dum, dum, DAM!!!!

Wow! That campaign sure was short… Luckily, being the kaisu (afraid to lose) Otaku I am, I ordered mine on the tenth.

Once again, I was lucky to have waited before buying Yuki and Ryoko. This was indeed a perfect opportunity to get them.  I am so happy that Hobby Search included the sticker ‘Merry Christmas with Figma’ on the box. Real attention to detail. GOoJOB!

So, story aside, let’s get down to the review. The accessories come in a neat bag in a neat bag. No, that’s not a typo.

What is included is a Figma Santa Cap, a Figma Santa Cloak and a Figma Santa Bag. The Hat and Cloak are made of that special soft PVC so as to limit restriction to the joints. You got to love that stuff! The Figma Santa Bag is made of a velvety material and is extremely smooth and yet furry to the touch. Amazing.

la costumbre de esperar noticias en el reader de google de mano de los chicos de Wing Zero Fansub cada semana para poder ver este anime que para ser sincero fue uno de los mejores que he visto.

Me recordo mucho a Death Note pero el final fue algo excepcional, no tengo palabras para este anime, lo unico que puedo decir es que la vean la primera y segunda temporada.

valio la pena esperar un capitulo por semana y aun que quede muchas veces picado siempre habia un mañana, o mejor dicho un continuara que nos alegraba la semana y nos hacia olvidar el final del capitulo anterior

Cosas que me gustaron:
1º El protagonista no perdio el porte xD (vease de ejemplo death note)
2º El final no fue incomprensible (vease Neon Genesis Evangelion y Higurashi no Naku Koro ni entre otras)
3º El final valio la pena a pesar que algunos capitulos finales nos dejaron en duda
4º Nos enseña que dominar el mundo no es la gran cosa, solo necesitas equipo militar de avanzada, un mapa digital de la zona que muestre a tus tropas en tiempo real (si son derrotadas tienen que decir “Lost” si no, no podras dominar el mundo), un ligero conocimiento en ajedres y saber como dominar tu “mascara” ante los demas =3 facil no?
5º Ver que Jeremiah siguio a Lelouch-Sama hasta el final de la serie al igual que Suzaku

Cosas que no me gustaron ¬¬
1º Ver que Li Xingke tenia una enfermedad terminal que lo tendria que haber matado a mitad de la segunda temporada y ver que hasta los ultimos segundos de series, salio en pantalla hecho el loco… (aparte de que siempre que lo ponian, salia escupiendo sangre y haciendo drama -_-)
2º Ver que en algunas partes ponian a Lelouch medio afeminado con cartera como de mujer en el brazo… aun que sea para engañar a rolo pero igual no me gusto ¬¬ no es digno de un emperador
3º No tenian Coca-Cola ¬¬
4º Gracias a los ultimos capitulos no pude imaginarme un final, y me agarro fuera de base, aun que no me puedo quejar ya que fue genial
5º Fue tan buena serie que me consume mi tiempo, haciendo post en mi estupido blog, y de seguro nadie va a leer esta noticia _o_

Most of us already know Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch R2 right? (2nd season of “Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch)” The series introduced dozens of new characters which are not shown on the first season,  one of them is Rolo Lamperouge.

Yes, you heard me right…Rolo Lamperouge. Lelouch’s so called brother who usurped Nunally’s place as Lelouch’s younger sibling after King Charles modified and erased some of Lelouch’s memories about the Black Knights,His secret identity…Zero, Nunally, C.C. and the Rebellion.

Who exactly is Rolo?

After modifying and erasing some of Lelouch’s memories…he returns to Ashford Academy. Little does he know that his ‘younger brother’ is a trained assasin who must observe Lelouch’s actions and kill him whenever he restores his lost memories( Charles removed Nunally’s memories and replaced Rolo in being Lelouch’s younger sibling). Little is known about Rolo (aka Rolo Haliburton or Rolo Lamperouge) except for the fact that he’s a experimental orphan with a geass on his right eye which temporarily freezes the sense of time of those inside his area of geass. However even  if his geass really is a powerful great asset, V.V. still thinks that it’s useless because his heart beat stops while using it.

Rolo is unsociable and reserved. A merciless killer who kills anyone who gets in the way of his mission (have I told you before? He works at the Brittanian Secret Intelligence Service). He is trained to kill from a very young age “The number of those who I’ve killed is countless, just like the number of times a person eats or brushes his teeth in his whole lifetime.” He’s skilled at firearms and other weaponries and piloting knightmare frames especially the Vincent prototypes.

Although he seems like a dangerous assassin or whatever, he really is gentle and loyal to Lelouch. He always treasures a locket which Lelouch gave him on his birthday….actually Nunally’s birthday (October 25th) because he gave it when he was still unconsious of his lost memories.It is also clear that he has also been heavily affected by his time
with Lelouch. Because of this, he is easily manipulated into believing
that Lelouch cares for him and thus follows his orders without question. He loves Lelouch so much that he could risk his life protecting Lelouch. And in the end he did die while protecting Lelouch.

The Code Geass bunch xD not really. I drew this today. They’re my team ups. I’m a Lulu/CC & Lulu/Suzu shipper. You cannot deny the cuteness D< Pity Suzu-kun’s being such a betch to Lulu *A* I’m currently watching Code Geass: R2 mind you. It’s pretty good so far .More than good actually. I always am looking forward to the nest episodes. I hope Lulu doesn’t die. I’ll cry. Literally. Anyone watching this as well?

For those who haven’t here’s a little info about the three featured characters <3

: Lelouch Lamperouge/ Vi Britania: 

the title character and protagonist of the show. Seemingly an ordinary 17-year-old student at the Ashford Academy, Lelouch Lamperouge, also called Lelou (ルル Ruru^?) by his friends, is in fact the son of the Emperor of Britannia and the late Empress Marianne and a member of the Britannia Imperial Family. His real name is Lelouch Vi Britannia (ルルーシュ・ヴィ・ブリタニア Rurūshu Vi Buritania^?) and he was the eleventh prince in line for the title of seventeenth emperor of the britannian empire prior to his mother’s assassination. In an incident, he gained the power of Geass and started his quest on destroying Britannia under the mask, Zero. At the same time, Lelouch tries to make a place where there is no hatred or conflict for his sister Nunnally before she is able to see again.

:Kururugi Suzaku:

Lelouch’s childhood friend and son of Japan’s last prime minister. He is in the service of the Britannia Army as a soldier, and was chosen to test a new model of the Knightmare Frame, Lancelot. A mysterious green-haired girl who bestows the power of Geass upon Lelouch under the condition that he would grant her greatest wish. Her abilities caught the interest of Britannia and she was imprisoned as a part of Britannia’s experiments in the past. She passively oversees Lelouch’s missions to ensure that he does not die and to help his plans succeed.

I got that from wikipedia OTL. They’re more or less the main characters. Lelouch being the main of all main characters in this anime. Code Geass was created by SunRise. The character design done by no other but CLAMP. They live up to their names. Honestly. Though I point out, it’s not only my opinion, it reminds me of DeathNote and Gundam combined.

Hoy les traigo una sorpresa, el anime de CODE GEASS Completo en Descarga Directa, ya que es uno de los animes que más me ha gustado, además de que no falta mucho para que la segunda temporada sea emitida y como tengo planeado subirla, decidí que también tenía que tener la primera en DD, así que aquí esta y como extras también subí los Picture Drama.

Bueno por otro lado ya esta disponible nuevamente el anime de Devil May Cry Online y el grupo Sweet Project ya ha sacado un nuevo capítulo de Parfait Tic!!.

Argumento: El 10 de agosto de 2010 a.t.b, el Sacro Imperio de Britannia sobrepasó a las fuerzas japonesas y conquistó el país en menos de un mes, haciendo uso de sus armas robóticas, los Knightmare Frames. Siete años más tarde en el Área 11 conoce a una misteriosa chica, con la que realiza un contrato a cambio de un poder llamado “Geass”. Con él, Lelouch finalmente tiene el poder que necesita para derrotar a Britannia y realizar sus dos deseos: vengar a su madre y construir un mundo en el que su amada hermana pueda vivir feliz.
