Since my Dell laptop is seven years old, I’ve been looking for a replacement for the last few months

Since my Dell laptop is seven years old, I’ve been looking for a replacement for the last few months. There are so many options that it was hard to make a choice. Since I bought a Sony Vaio for my wife recently – the VGN-NW270F, I had a good laptop to compare to this HP DV4.

You basically have two choices in laptops: do you want a powerful laptop that can do lots of things, but has a shorter batter life or do you want a lighter less powerful laptop which has an extended life. I went with the power laptop which the HP is.

In general, I’m very happy and impressed. The HP is a bit smaller – 14″ vs 15.6″, but I actually prefer the smaller form factor. The 15.6 is more a desktop replacement size. They both have the same 320 GB hard drive and plenty of other ports and 4 GB or ram. I wanted an HDMI port and both have this feature. When you connect the HP to my 42″ TV the screen looks sharp and stunning. I can now watch internet video and ripped movies on my big screen. One feature the Sony has is the ability to play Blue Ray disks, but since I don’t own any of those, it’s not a factor.

The HP does have a nice Recovery partition and a few other features, but I don’t use them. The Sony has a better metal body, keyboard and track pad area (I use a real mouse.), but the HP is ok.

Windows 7 is a joy to work with and even though I bought a manual, I haven’t had to crack it open yet. I’ve gone from XP to Windows 7 without a hitch.

Another reason I went with the HP at Costco is the two year warranty – you can’t beat it.

Pros2
Year Warranty
Fast bootup and performance
One click to turn wireless on and off.
Fantastic HDMI video to home TV
Price $649

Cons
Case and keyboard not as nice as Sony Vaio.
Track area doesn’t have the nice feel of a Sony
A little bit of junkware you need to uninstall.

Is everyone ready for Black Friday 2010? I’ve searched the preview deals for the busiest shopping day of the year and so far Wal-Mart wins with the best electronic deals!
To find the deals in your area go to the website and type in your zip code to preview the deals closest to you! Here are a few more deals I found for the Atlanta area:

LCD flat screen TV’s in the $200 range

I still remember the time I took to make this purchase of Reliance Braodband Plus modem. I wanted good speed backed up by usb modem. Following were my options:

1) Idea Net Setter

2) Tata Indicom USB modem

3) BSNL Traveller’s card

4) Reliance Boardband Plus

Idea NetSetter: I was loyal idea customer a few years ago. I was in love with their service and fantastic network. However, I never bother about paying some extra bucks. I thought Idea NetSetter will also follow the same legacy. To my expericence, Idea NetSetter is way too costly for the kinda speed and the data charges.

Tata Photon:

I had prior experience from my friends about slow speed of Tata Photon USB modem. I had a trial run of the modem on my laptop and needless to say I was disappointed. Speed indeed flctuates badly during day times and night usage starts from 11 PM unlike 10 PM of other service provider’s.

BSNL Traveller’s Card:

This device stands by its name. Providing nice coverage and good enough speed. However, the snail working procedures of Govt. forced me to cancel my plans of making a purchase.

Reliance Broadband Plus:

I had used Reliance USB 1x modem earlier on my laptop. The speed of 1x modem was satisfactory, though charges were not in proper proportion to the speed. I thought to try the all new broadband plus which claims of 3.1 Mbps speed. Needless to say you will never get this much speed even if you are sitting on the network anteena.

However, the ratio of charges and the relative speed is what made me to buy this product. Rs 499 rental with 10 Gb of night usage is absolutely what I was looking for. Even day usage was cheaper compared to other service provider’s modems. Day usage stands at 50 p per Minute of browsing. So even if you are watching a video on YouTube, you are not fored to pay /Mb charges. This is something real fantastic and customer friendly.

Night Download Speed ranges between 50kbs – 300 kbps which is enough for me. Day speed also varies in the same range. In addition to this, you can simply register on Reliance Broadband website and make the cofirmation of purchase and their executive will deliver the USB moden that dau itself to your door step. However, it takes around 2 weeks for modem to get activated with may hamper the user experience. But overall, Reliance Broadband Plus is one othe best USB modems available to the date in the industry.

There are many good portable cheap laptops available in the market in our days and with a little of search and fundamental information, you can verify that one corresponds to his personal needs, if he is for the matters or the use in his house.

A tight budget, to buy the expensive team for someone who him could not use correctly or a need to save the money is all the reasons to want to buy a portable bargain sale. Further down they are a few skillful allusions to help him to find a good portable bargain sale.

The selling is a clear place to look for his portable bargain sale. So much the computer conventional shops that the companies in line have regularly selling of portable. If you choose because of it guarantee please that the company is reputable. The biggest and famous they are habitually.

A way of guaranteeing a cheaper price on his portable one but no fall is for quality to choose a model of portable that does not have famous name of mark. There are numerous good societies who produce completely well made of the portable ones, but they are not so famous as the clear ones. This includes new companies that often the price his products under the normal fan to attract new clients.

Consider also what presents to him the need in his portable one. It can save a lot of money choosing only the specifications of portable those that he will need truly. Are the regions to look the space on the hard disk to preserve programs and records, the memory (more it allows to his computer to run better and more rapidly), the life of battery (the portable one will use on the way many?).

The computer models are modernized all the time. If you do not watch to wait a little it can come very much much waiting until the portable one should be a little expired. These models lightly more old men run often so much as his newest compensations.

The last one but certainly not less the option must consider the portable one that is not the new mark. You can receive a portable renewed bargain sale. It are where new parts replaced previous units that were defective. These machines can run so much as the new portable one, but always they are cheaper.

You can consider also the buy of a portable bargain sale of occasion. Many Internet places as eBay have enormous lists of portable earlier possessed and used. A thing that verifies here well that are why it is sold the portable ones. Guarantee that it is for a valid reason as the owner who has bought a newer model and not because it does not work any more. The schools and the universities always modernize so his computers and often his old team has selling of auction to the liquidation.

Wow is this thing great! I use it as a “mini-bar” when the friends and I go out to the bars. I can quickly fix multiple shots of tequila for myself and the friends as we drive from one bar to the next. We also discovered that if you place a pillow on top of it and turn on the cruise control you can catch quick naps on the interstate. If you swerve to the left or right the rumble strips on the road wake you up in plenty of time before you get into trouble. I can now take longer trips without being tired!

Also, i am now dating a midget and she fits nicely on the steering wheel desk which allows us to experiment sexually while driving. This thing is like WD-40 or duct tape, it is a million and one uses.

This has been a total lifesaver. It allows me to prop my sheet music against the wheel, allowing me to play the guitar with both hands while driving.

The one who enjoys our LSWD the most in our family is our 10 month-old son. He absolutely loves standing up on the desk and holding onto the top of the steering wheel, especially when we’re on the freeway. Our little guy laughs and screams like there’s no tomorrow.

I have found this to be a wonderful place to keep my scorecards while playing “Hit the Pedestrian”. The only improvement that I can think of would be a pen and pencil groove so that they would not jump off the desk when I take out a target. I must spend considrable time looking for them on the floor while driving, and I am sure I am missing many good high point scores that I would otherwise be able to use in my game.

I recently walked into a Christian coffee house and had to LOL. Why? Because this is what I observed

I recently walked into a Christian coffee house and had to LOL. Why? Because this is what I observed: About 25 twenty-somethings, on break from their duties at the Christian camp where this coffeehouse was located, were jammed onto couches and sprawled around tables, all huddled shoulder-to-shoulder in their ripped jeans and hoodies. But besides the painfully hip music playing softly in the background and the occasional hiss of the espresso cart’s steamer, the room was eerily silent. You see, every single one of these Gen-Yers had a laptop open and were logged onto Facebook – chatting with friends back home, sending recent photos to family far away, even instant messaging each other in the same room. I ordered a latte, sat down in one corner, and thought to myself, “Christian community is forever different because of Facebook.”

Everything Has Changed, But Not Really

No matter what your take on the subject you have to admit, Facebook has changed everything. There are more than five million people jumping on the social networking giant every week, from middle-schoolers to great-grandparents. With well over 300 million people and counting, it is quickly becoming what baby-faced Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, calls, “The place where everyone will live their digital lives.”
As more and more of us live our digital lives on and around Facebook, how does that shift our understanding of community? And how do we respond as the church; that is, as the literal “hands and feet” of the body of Christ in a disembodied environment?
In order to answer those questions, it is of first importance that we begin to “see” things differently than perhaps we are used to. More specifically, we need a new way of “seeing” community as our new, hyperconnected world sees it so that we can engage with what God is already up to in cyberspace.
First, we must understand that “community” exists on a continuum. Often when I hear Christians describe community, I hear them describe a best friend, someone with whom they share an intimacy that involves trust based on a history of shared experiences and passions. It’s a taste of that “one-ness” that exists within the community of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and which we are included in as followers of Jesus. While that is what we are ultimately made for, we might think of that experience of community as a “ten” on our continuum. But there are many other forms of community. For example, when I’m in line at the grocery store I am participating in community. I am a tired, over-scheduled, anxious person just like the rest of my neighbors in line. This experience of community may represent a “one” on our continuum, but it is still community. And, of course, there is everything in between – co-workers, siblings, the people in the back of your church that leave early, even your many connections on Facebook fall along that community continuum.
Second, we must understand that, for most people (especially younger people) there is no longer a distinction between “real” and “online” community. It’s all part of the same experience. Whether my friends are in cyberspace or around my dinner table, they are my community. This is an important concept to grasp in order to enter more fully into the experience of community as a hyperconnected world understands it.

Listening For The Laughter

As I sat in the corner of that coffeehouse marveling at the scene in front of me, I began to notice giggles and groans and shouts across the room. It turned out my laptop-bearing, hoodie-wearing neighbors were fully engaged in community, seamlessly moving in between virtual and real-world expressions. Once again, I had to LOL.
God is already at work in the grocery line, at the back of your church, and on Facebook, and we are invited to join him in loving the neighbor right in front of us as we’ve always been called to. And if we are willing to look and listen with him, we will discover and be able to enter into the giggles and groans and shouts from across the room even as our heads are buried in our laptops.

1 in 3 laptops die in first three years Christopher Null: The Working Guy So your new laptop compute

1 in 3 laptops die in first three years
Christopher Null: The Working Guy

So your new laptop computer died in inside of a year. "I’ll never buy a computer from [insert manufacturer name here] again!" I’ve heard the protests time and time again.

Yeah, maybe you got a lemon, but no matter which brand you bought, you truly are not alone in this situation: An analysis of 30,000 new laptops from SquareTrade, which provides aftermarket warranty coverage for electronics products, has found that in the first three years of ownership, nearly a third of laptops (31 percent) will fail.

That’s actually better than I would have expected based on my experience and observations on how people treat their equipment.

SquareTrade has more detailed information (the full PDF of the company’s study is available here) on the research on its website. But here are some highlights about how, why, and which laptops fail:

> 20.4 percent of failures are due to hardware malfunctions. 10.6 percent are due to drops, spills, or other accidental damage.

> Netbooks have a roughly 20 percent higher failure rate due to hardware malfunctions than standard laptops. The more you pay for your laptop, the less likely it is to fail in general (maybe because you’re more careful with it?).

> The most reliable companies? A shocker: Toshiba and Asus, both with below a 16 percent failure rate due to hardware malfunction.

> The least reliable brands? Acer, Gateway, and HP. HP’s hardware malfunction rate, the worst in SquareTrade’s analysis, is a whopping 25.6 percent.

None of the numbers are overly surprising. As SquareTrade notes, "the typical laptop endures more use and abuse than nearly any other consumer electronic device (with the possible exception of cell phones)," so failures are really inevitable.

Want to keep your notebook running for longer than a few years? Ensure your laptop is as drop-proofed as possible (use a padded bag or case, route cords so they won’t be tripped on, lock children in another room), and protect it as best you can from heat and dust.

What’s the most wrongheaded conclusion anyone ever came to concerning computers? I covered thr

What’s the most wrongheaded conclusion anyone ever came to concerning computers? I covered three of the most legendary ones–”There is no reason for any individual to have a computer in his home,” “640K should be enough for anybody,” and “I think there is a worldwide market for maybe five computers” in The 25 Most Notable Quotes in Tech History. But there’s no evidence that IBM’s Thomas J. Watson said the first one, Bill Gates staunchly denies saying the second one, and DEC’s Ken Olsen and his defenders contend that the last one is him being taken out of context.

But here are a couple of seriously silly statements that can’t be disowned–because they appeared in columns in the New York Times in the mid-1980s. Both are by the same guy, Erik Sandberg-Diment (who certainly wasn’t always obtuse–he was visionary enough to found ROM, one of the best early magazines about personal computers). Between them, they add up to one of the least accurate takes on the future of computing that I’ve ever read.

Sandberg-Diment’s first memorably inaccurate piece is from Christmas Day, 1984. It concerned the PC trend of windowing environments–front ends for DOS that let you run multiple apps in windows. He thought they were a fad that had already come and gone–and even spoke of them in the past tense.

Continuing to write about windowing environments as if they had already failed, he declared that they’d make sense only if computers gained displays as big as real desktops. (A quarter century later, a 30-inch screen still counts as humongous–but isn’t anywhere as spacious as a typical office desk.)

Now, it’s true that in late 1984, the best-known windowing environment that had actually shipped was VisiCorp’s Visi On, which was pretty much dead on arrival. Windows, which wouldn’t show up for another eleven months, was famous mostly as an example of vaporware. So Sandberg-Diment was only criticizing windowing as it existed as of the time he wrote his piece, right?

Well, no, he made sure to end his piece by issuing a pre-emptive declaration of “doom” for Microsoft’s Windows.

A little less than a year later, Sandberg-Diment decided that another computing trend had fizzled. This time it was the laptop computer. He noticed that nobody seemed to be carrying the once-hot portable machines anymore, and once again made plentiful use of the past tense in discussing them.

He argued that people didn’t really want to take computers with them everywhere–why would they, when it might cut into valuable newspaper-reading time?

Then he suddenly shifts course and makes a bold prediction: As laptops get cheaper and better, they’d become powerful tools for traveling salespeople and other mobile workers. Popular ones, even!

But just in case anyone thought Sandberg-Diment was a laptop enthusiast, he stated as fact that they’d remain specialty items. No matter how cheap and good they became. After all, who’d want to take one along on–drum roll!–a fishing trip?

After reading this, I did what I usually do when I need a quick reality check of typical computing habits: I turned to Twitter.

A bunch of folks reported back that they had, as I knew they would–these days, there’s no place that people don’t take computers.

Between the two Times pieces, Sandberg-Diment announced that both Windows and laptops were dead. For the record, as of late 2009, the vast majority of computers sold on the planet are…Windows laptops. (As far as I’ve been able to determine, he never wrote a column mocking the notion of online communications.)

The thing is, his conclusions weren’t completely irrational given the information he had at the time: Windowing environments available in 1984 did stink, and laptops were too pricey, bulky, and limited to serve as newspaper substitutes. It’s just that he didn’t have the imagination to see that the issues he saw would get addressed, and that people’s attitudes towards the technologies would shift. He also made the mistake of blithely issuing permanent, blanket rejections of Windows and laptops based on what he could see in 1984 and 1985, rather than being humble enough to acknowledge that computing was likely to evolve in ways he couldn’t possibly imagine.

Why am I bringing all this up now? In part because there’s nothing more entertaining than looking back at hilariously off-base pronouncements about technology. But there’s a lesson in here, too: It’s always a mistake to think you know where the hell technology is going to take us.

At the moment, for instance, some very smart people are utterly positive that Google’s Chrome OS will flop big time. But maybe anyone who’s about to write such a story should be forced to read pieces like Sandberg-Diment’s as a case study in the danger of certitude.

I have been literally babying my Dell laptop for months now as one thing after another either falls

I have been literally babying my Dell laptop for months now as one thing after another either falls off or goes wrong. Let’s recap this fun journey, shall we? …

Not counting the massive amounts of Vista-related crashing…the first traumatic injury was when the quotations key fell off, only to be re-attached by some computer geek guys, but it fell off again and refused to be re-attached. I taped it to my whiteboard in my home office and gave it a small tribute:

Not to be outdone by the quotations key, both the backspace key and the K key decided they no longer wished to function correctly. Now those two keys must be pounded on with the finger pressure equivalent to an elephant being dropped 30 feet to the ground in order to get them to work properly. The fingers on my right hand associated with those two keys are getting pressure calluses.

Feeling left out and one-upped by the backspace key and the K key, the E, R, N, and M keys all decided to peel off their coverings so that if one were not a touch typist, one would be in deep doo-doo while writing a blog post. I’m not making this up:

Then the amazingly constructed power cord decided to stop functioning correctly. It would, at the worst time, simply pop out of its home on the side of the laptop, leaving me on battery. Then it escalated its mischief and stopped working while it was fully plugged in and much like the old tv rabbit ears antennas, I would have to hold the power cord up and over my head with my left hand while trying to type with my right hand so the battery wouldn’t keep discharging. Not only was the power cord acting wonky, it was not charging the battery when it was fully plugged in – so I was screwed regardless. Power on – battery still slowly dying. After much agony and an aching left shoulder, I ordered a replacement power cord. It now works, for how long is anyone’s guess.

Being the highly educated, innovative, creative problem solver in the family…I got out my handy dandy Sharpie and re-drew the letters E, R, N, and M and then painted some craft varnish over them to keep the Sharpie from accidentally smearing. I’m so clever:

And so for now we have a barely functioning laptop once again. I can update any or all 3 of my blogs, I can Twitter to my heart’s content, and maybe…just maybe I can get to read and comment on some of my bloggy friends’ postings this week.

Nothing else could possibly happen to this laptop could it?…

Just in case, I have this handy:

And I am not afraid to use it…

4.Sony vaio serie P (pocketstyle PC)

Sistema Operativo: Windows Vista

Conexiones: 10/100 Mbps Ethernet. Conectividad 3G y WI-FI.

Puerto Ethernet.

Almacenamiento: SSD 60GB

En la parte delantera, un lector de tarjetas 5 en 1.

3 puertos USB.

Webcam Integrada.

Salida VGA.

Micrófono y altavoces integrados.

Autonomía: Duración de la batería 2.45 horas (3 celdas).

Disponibilidad en cuatro colores: azul, blanco, rojo y rosa.

Peso: 660 g. en su versión más básica.

Disponibilidad: Distribuidoras Sony (JETSTEREO, LADY LEE, DIUNSA)

My laptop being the dodgy piece of kit it is, I’m in the market for something new. I’ve

My laptop being the dodgy piece of kit it is, I’m in the market for something new. I’ve found that the ASUS N61VN-A2 meets pretty much all of my criteria:

HDMI out, for driving a big TV if I ever buy one

An onboard Blu-ray player, no point in not getting into that if it is available

eSATA so I can realistically boot from an external drive*

Gigabit and Wireless-N. I don’t need the speed, but they’re there, and Wireless-N seems to connect more reliably than A/B/G

Granted the battery life is probably going to suffer under the load of the high-speed parts it has, but then I can live with that; I don’t do too much actual mobile computing anyway. That it ships with Win7 I can live with too. The touchpad apparently supports a small library of sophisticated gestures for common tasks, which is perhaps double-edged? I guess I’d have to try it to see if they are helpful or if it is the first step to the radio in HHGTG which changed stations at a glance but required the listener to sit absolutely still if he wanted to hear an entire program.

That the GPU has Cuda support is great, too; I’ll have to resist the urge to run Folding@Home on it because that was a slightly contributing factor to the demise of the northbridge chip in my current laptop.

The advertised price works for me, as does the size. There are much bigger laptops, and much smaller ones, but I’ve found that 15-16″ displays equate to an immersive video experience when they’re sitting on your lap, and still fit into a carry-on sized hard case. Also, the motherboard in my desktop is an Asus product, and aside from the flopply drive port (no kidding) it is a great piece of kit. With that and some good PR on the reliability of Asus laptops, I think I’ve made a pretty solid choice.

*Speaking of booting from an external drive, Ubuntu comes with a really slick partitioner which will effortlessly make a new partition when you install it, but getting that partition out of the MBR is a pain in the ass, so if I can transparently leave Ubuntu on an external drive then so much the better.

Why do conventional wisdom and analyst palaver assert as a matter of metaphysical certitude that the launch of Windows 7 will rapidly drive a robust PC refresh cycle?

Dell, in its attempt to move past its startlingly poor quarterly results announced last week, once again pointed to this theoretical groundswell of enterprise spending as the engine for its increasingly more theoretical turnaround. But even as Microsoft touts the record-setting sales pace of Windows 7, new PCs don’t appear to be riding those coattails.

Two reasons why:

No new hardware required: Unlike previous Microsoft OS platforms, Windows 7 does not require upgraded hardware to run as speced.

Learning to love lean and mean IT: The corporate recovery, as anemic as it is, is being driven by cost reductions and tighter controls on expenditures. Now that companies are much used to doing more with less — and getting good at it – CTOs and COOs will likely wring more value out of their current systems and upgrade more slowly and cautiously than they have in the past.

For consumers, PC deals matter more than the OS: While it has made sense to wait for Windows 7 to arrive before buying a new PC, Windows 7 has not been a driver. Cheap netbooks and low-cost laptops are the stars of the consumer space — which has been driving the computer industry recovery – and Windows 7 just comes with it.

Is Wi-Fi Radiation As Bad As Cell Phone Radiation?

Human beings are comprised of about 70% water, and radiation is readily absorbed by water. In certai

Human beings are comprised of about 70% water, and radiation is readily absorbed by water. In certain cases, various types of radiation can deform our basic cellular structure to certain levels which can eventually lead to our horrible, distorted, collective death. As a result of being human (the word human, in this instant, sounds pejorative, as if I were advocating radiation-resistant cybernetic body replacements, but I’m not), we are highly susceptible to organ tissue damage which in turn invites diseases such as cancer, tumors, and undesirable mutation.

It makes sense that Wi-Fi (as used for internet connectivity) radiation would seep effortlessly through the still developing skulls of children, so it stands to argue that Wi-Fi infused schools pose a threat to the overall well-being of the world’s childhood population, specially now that more and more schools are romancing over wireless connection capabilities. And with good reason.

This is a technology that has proven itself time and time again, it makes my life easier when I can carry my laptop from room to room without any worry that someone in full sprint will trip over my 20-foot long ethernet cable tethering my computer to the wall. But it may seem that my fears have been misplaced, because I can live with a broken laptop (standalone backup) but I don’t stand a chance to live a fruitful, happy life if my membrum virile begins to take on a frightening sentient autonomy.

Schools outfitted with Wi-Fi capabilities have been shown to emit radiation three times greater than cell phone masts and this has been perpetuated by mass media as concentrated rays of death, when more accurately, they’re a type of light poison that your body absorbs and over a length of continuous exposure may cause certain disease or death. Now, granted, cell phones themselves emit much larger levels of radiation, while Wi-Fi nodes emit radio waves similar to household microwave ovens, the radiation strength of Wi-Fi is 100,000 times less than of a conventional microwave oven.

Wi-Fi ready schools emit radiation levels higher than cell phone masts, but even then that’s still 600 times below government regulations. Which raises the question, is the basis of these safety limits wrong to begin with? Is this just the government attempting to herd the population and keep us all from assuming martial law? Everything is speculation at this point. Our tumors and cancers could simply be associated with our existing genetic code, or because of our genetic code we’re predisposed to a higher vulnerability of radiation.

Biology professor Henry Lai of Washington State University points out that throughout the two to three thousand studies having been conducted in the past 30 years only about half show any adverse effects while the other half show no effects at all. Wi-Fi connections have been around for that long? Absolutely. Radio waves and other non-ionising radiations have been in existence for a little more than a century. Think two-way radios, televisions, household radio story machines, etc.

Olga Naidenko, senior scientist at EWG, in conducting her own report states current standards reveal an increased risk of developing brain tumors over long-term use. Long-term, in her statement, consists of 10 years. Since we’re so new to this technology we, as a whole, won’t see any real proof that wireless radiation poses a veritable threat until a few more years down the line when the proposed effects of radiation poisoning from wireless machines begin to show up in epic numbers around hospitals worldwide.

We’re like cattle in that we’re easily frightened, falling into mass hysteria over the miseducation of a few charged particles floating around us. I found this comment on a Wales-based website urging everyone to lead a healthier life, to exercise regularly so that the human body can strengthen its immune system and do what it was built to do naturally. He accomplishes this in an arguably effective way and ties his opinion with a theory we both share:

People throw the term radiation around like we are talking about a nuclear reactor core or something similar. Wi-Fi uses a band of the electromagnetic spectrum that has approximately 1 million times less energy per photon than light “radiation” does. In these frequency bands it is strongly absorbed by water which humans are more than half composed of—all this does is warm up tissue—it can not [sic] damage DNA because it can not [sic] break chemical bonds readily. If you really want to avoid cancer, exercise, eat right, and stay away from smoking and drinking and above all open a damn book once in a while. This fear-mongering compounded by ignorance has got to stop.

Wi-Fi technology is still relatively new to the world’s population and this debate and its accompanying research is ongoing. All research, no matter how inconclusive, inherently dictates that the mass advantages outweigh a few of us dying from cancer. Cancer is now mostly treatable. The worry still lingers over the dangers of children being exposed to radiation, it’s our responsibility as adults and humans to watch over the well-being of children and the integrity of their minds. In the end, technology is racing around us, mutating and evolving, and it will continue in its own path allowing us its utilization. The least we can do is take responsibility for our own lives, to keep well informed and act accordingly; to try and lead a healthy life.
