L’Arc~en~Ciel (ラルク アン シエル, Raruku an Shieru, “The Rainbow” in French) is a Japanese rock band, that formed in 1991. The group has sold over 13 million albums, 16 million singles, and millions of other units, such as videos. They were ranked at number 58, in a list of Top 100 Japanese pops musicians, provided by HMV Japan in 2003.

History

1991–1996: Early Career

In February 1991, bassist Tetsuya Ogawa, later band leader, recruited vocalist Hyde along with guitarist Hiro and drummer Pero, and formed a band under the name of L’Arc~en~Ciel. After a year of gaining notoriety in their hometown of Osaka, Hiro left the band on June 12, 1992. Tetsu convinced his friend Ken Kitamura to quit his university studies (he was an architecture major at The Nagoya Institute of Technology) and join the band as the guitarist. Pero soon left the band on December 30, 1992. In 1993, a new drummer, Yasunori Sakurazawa, joined the band.[2]

On April 1, 1993, the band released their debut album Dune under the indie label Danger Crue. The album was a success and rose to number one on the Oricon indies charts, catching the attention of some major labels. In 1994, L’Arc-en-Ciel signed on with Sony’s Ki/oon division, releasing their second album, Tierra that same year. Heavenly followed in 1995. True, released in 1996, became their first number-one, million selling album.

1997: Sakura’s departure

In February 1997, drummer Sakura was arrested for illegal drug possession. He officially quit the band on October 4, 1997. This proved to be the lowest point in the band’s history. When news of Sakura’s arrest became public, there was an immediate official response and CDs were removed from the shelves. ”The Fourth Avenue Cafe” for Rurouni Kenshin was immediately replaced with former theme “Heart of the Sword” after only six episodes of running time. Their next single “The Fourth Avenue Cafe” was postponed. It was eventually released in 2006.

Over the next few months the group continued to be featured in magazines, but only as a trio. “The Zombies”, which was notionally recorded as the “copy band”, sang their songs.[7] They also covered Marilyn Manson’s “Irresponsible Hate Anthem”.[7] The return from the break was marked by the appropriately named Reincarnation 97 Live in Tokyo Dome, with their new drummer, Yukihiro Awaji (former drummer with Zi:Kill and Die in Cries). The first concert in Tokyo Dome had an attendance of 56,000, which sold out in four minutes, a record at that time.

In 1997, “Niji”, the first single after Sakura’s departure, was released with Yukihiro listed as a supporting member. Not long after the release of the single, Yukihiro was signed on as the official drummer for L’Arc-en-Ciel.

1998–2000: Blockbuster success in J-pop market

Their 1998 single “Winter Fall”, became their first number-one single on the Oricon charts. They released the album Heart on February 25, 1998. Ark and Ray were released simultaneously on July 1, 1999, and became the first Japanese albums to be released simultaneously in many other Asian countries. Both topped the Oricon music charts, with Ark occupying number one and Ray at number two. The release of ark and ray marked the commercial high point of the band’s career, with each selling over two million copies.

Their next album Real was released on August 30, 2000. However, it was their last studio album for some time. “Stay Away” from the album Real was featured in DrumMania 4th Mix, making the song playable on the machine.

2001–2003: Hiatus and solo projects

The compilation Clicked Singles Best 13 was released on March 14, 2001. The compilation included twelve songs chosen by fans online in Asia and an additional thirteenth song, “Anemone”. Their album Real was re-released as Super Audio CD on July 4, 2001. L’Arc-en-Ciel’s last new single before their hiatus, “Spirit Dreams Inside -Another Dream-”, was released on September 5, 2001. Their English language song “Spirit Dreams Inside” was adopted for the closing theme song to the movie Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.

After “Spirit Dreams Inside”, the band went on a hiatus as the members began working on various solo projects. Hyde released two solo albums (Roentgen and 666) and starred in the movie Moon Child with the popular Japanese soloist Gackt. Hyde also played the part of Adam in the movie Kagen no Tsuki (Last Quarter), based on the manga by the same title. Ken founded Sons of All Pussys with L’Arc-en-Ciel’s former drummer Sakura. Tetsu started Tetsu69 and Yukihiro sang with Acid Android.

Three compilation albums The Best of L’Arc-en-Ciel 1994–1998, The Best of L’Arc-en-Ciel 1998–2000 and The Best of L’Arc-en-Ciel C/W were released on March 19, 2003. The album series included their almost all singles at that time except “Spirit Dreams Inside -Another Dream-”.

2004: Comeback and U.S. concert debut

In June 2003, L’Arc~en~Ciel performed a series of seven concerts in Tokyo called the Shibuya Seven Days, during which they announced a new album for release the following year. The band released “Ready Steady Go” in February 2004, its first single in more than three years. The song was used as an opening for a popular anime series, Fullmetal Alchemist. It topped Oricon weekly single charts. A cover of the song is used in a video game for the Nintendo DS called Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan. The single was followed by “Hitomi no Jūnin”, in early March. The album, Smile, was released on March 31. Shortly afterwards, on June 2, 2004, the single “Jiyuu e no Shoutai” introduced P’unk-en-Ciel, a partial change, for the first time on CD with “Milky Way”.

A flyer for the band’s 2004 performance at Otakon

On July 31, 2004, L’Arc~en~Ciel made their North American concert debut at the anime convention Otakon, held annually in Baltimore, Maryland. Approximately 12,000 people attended the concert, which was held at an outside venue for the first time in Otakon’s musical guest history, at 1st Mariner Arena.[16] They were also the first Japanese act (and to date, the only) to perform at the Arena. On May 31, 2005, Tofu Records, Sony Music Japan’s U.S. label, released the much-anticipated DVD of the Otakon 2004 concert Live in U.S.A. On June 25, 2007, L’Arc-en-Ciel signed a deal with HMV America.

2005–2006: Asia live tour and solo projects

In 2005, the band released various singles, including “Killing Me”, “New World”, and “Jojōshi”. These were later featured on their album, Awake, which was released on June 22 with twelve tracks, including “Lost Heaven”, the closing theme of the Fullmetal Alchemist movie. The band’s single, “Link”, released on July 20, 2005, was also featured in the movie as the opening theme, which was included by their next album Kiss.

Hyde singing “Revelation” during the 2005 Awake tour

In August 2005, the band went on their Awake tour, which was limited to Japan. The tour featured displays of anti-war sentiment, reflecting similar lyrics of the songs of the album. The Japanese Awake tour was followed by the Asia Live 2005 tour, with performances in Seoul and Shanghai, closing with concerts in Japan. Japan’s two concerts took place at the Tokyo Dome.

Following the Awake and Asia Live tours, L’Arc-en-Ciel’s members turned their attention back to their solo projects. Tetsu began recording with a new band called Creature Creature. Yukihiro rejoined Acid Android, which released single “Let’s Dance” on April 5, 2006. Acid Android joined Mucc, another Japanese rock band, to perform two concerts in Shanghai, China in April 2006.

Hyde composed “Glamorous Sky”, the theme song to the film adaption of the manga Nana starring pop singer Mika Nakashima. It was the first time Hyde composed music for another vocalist. Hyde’s latest solo album, Faith, was released in Japan on April 26, 2006, accompanied by a five month tour throughout Japan between April and August 2006. After signing on with Tofu Records, four small concerts were scheduled in San Francisco and Anaheim, California in the United States. Hyde made his U.S. debut in July 2006, the first of L’Arc~en~Ciel’s solo projects to extend internationally. On August 23, Ken released a solo single entitled “Speed”.

2006–2008: 15th anniversary and Europe concert debut

On November 25 and 26, 2006, L’Arc~en~Ciel played two shows at the Tokyo Dome to celebrate their 15th anniversary, entitled L’Anniversary. It sold out in two minutes, breaking their former record. A poll was created on the official website during the weeks before the concert which allowed fans to pick which songs they would like to hear at the event. The concert was later shown on the WOWOW channel on December 23, 2006. It was also broadcast on February 8, 2007 on Korea MTV.

L’Arc~en~Ciel later recorded the song “Shine” to be used as the opening song for the NHK anime, Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit. They kicked-off their Mata Heart Ni Hi Wo Tsukero 2007 tour in Japan. L’Arc~en~Ciel released the single “Seventh Heaven” on May 30, 2007, which topped the Oricon charts. The song “My Heart Draws a Dream”, used in a Subaru commercial, was released as a single on August 29, 2007, and made the #1 spot on the Oricon charts. The song “Daybreak’s Bell” was used as the first opening theme for the anime Mobile Suit Gundam 00. It was released as a single on October 10, 2007, topping the Oricon weekly charts as well. From November 14 to December 25, 2007, there was a limited edition single titled “Hurry Xmas”, along with two new DVDs coming out in September and December, titled 15th L’Anniversary Live and Chronicle 3 respectively. Their new studio album Kiss, released on November 21, 2007, debuted at the number-one position on the Oricon charts.

L’Arc~en~Ciel performed the Theater of Kiss tour, which was held from December 22, 2007 to February 17, 2008. The song “Drink It Down”, used as the Japanese opening song for the PS3/Xbox360 game Devil May Cry 4, was released as a single on April 2, 2008, and topped the Oricon weekly charts.[26] The band went on the Tour 2008 L’7 ~Trans Asia via Paris~ which covered several major Asian cities, as well as Paris, France.[27] On this tour a definite live show hiatus until 2011 was announced. L’Arc~en~Ciel media continued to be released, a double A-side single, “Nexus 4 / Shine” and a DVD, Tour 2007-2008 Theater of Kiss were released on August 27, 2008. Hyde and K.A.Z formed rock duo Vamps and released their first album Vamps on June 10, 2009.

P’unk~en~Ciel

P’unk-en-Ciel (パンク アン シエル, panku an shieru) is an alter ego of L’Arc~en~Ciel. Introduced in 2004, Hyde takes over guitar, Ken the drums, Yukihiro plays the bass, while Tetsu performs the vocals. P’unk~en~Ciel’s songs have a more punk sound and their music is usually heavier and faster with a different tone due to Tetsu’s vocals. Hyde wears a pirate patch over his left eye in P’unk~en~Ciel performances. Yukihiro is known to wear a gas mask; however, this has only been seen once at a live concert during their Smile tour in 2004.

Each member is called in capital letters Tetsu P’unk, Ken P’unk, Hyde P’unk and Yuki P’unk. Each member produces one song of their choice, and they alternate their productions.

P’unk~en~Ciel is the revision of D’ark~en~Ciel, the former being a special event that took place during the early L’Arc~en~Ciel years when Sakura was the drummer. The only material released from them is the 18-minute B-side “D’ark~en~Ciel” found on the (then) unreleased The Fourth Avenue Cafe single.

Their songs are recorded and used as B-sides on singles from 2004 and their performances can be found as extras on Live DVDs. They also featured television personality Sayaka Aoki with their song “Round and Round 2005″.

Hyde (b. January 29, 1970, in Wakayama, Japan) is the singer for the Japanese rock band L’Arc~en~Ciel. Hyde keeps his personal information secret. He confirmed his birthdate in an interview for the 2002 March issue of Rockin On Japan. [1] He joined L’Arc~en~Ciel in 1991 after leaving another band called Jerusalem’s Rod where he was the guitarist.

In addition to being the lead singer and main lyricist of L’Arc~en~Ciel, Hyde has solo projects, as well as his own independent record label called VAMPROSE.

History

Solo history

After L’Arc~en~Ciel released the single, “Spirit dreams inside” in 2000, the band went on an unofficial hiatus as each of the members began work on solo careers. This was Hyde’s debut as a solo artist. In October 2001, Hyde released his first solo single, “Evergreen.” After two more singles, “Angel’s Tale” and “Shallow Sleep,” Hyde released his first solo album, Roentgen, on March 27, 2002. An overseas edition featuring English lyrics was released in July the same year. Hyde’s next two singles, “Hello” and “Horizon,” were released June and November 2003 respectively, and second solo album, 666, was released on December 3, 2003.

In 2003, Hyde starred alongside Gackt in the Japanese film Moon Child. In a duet as part of the project, Hyde and Gackt sang “Orenji no taiyou”, and when sang live, Hyde could not be there because he was on a music tour. The song was also released on Gackt’s fourth full-length album, Crescent. In December 2003, Hyde’s song “Shining Over You” from his 666 album was used as the commercial song for Namco’s Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean.

In 2004, Hyde took on the role of the guitarist Adam in the movie Kagen no tsuki/下弦の月 (Last Quarter), a movie based on the manga by Ai Yazawa. The movie’s theme song, “The Cape of Storms”, came from Roentgen.

L’Arc~en~Ciel revival

After a three-year hiatus, L’Arc~en~Ciel reunited for a series of seven concerts titled “Shibuya Seven Days” in June and July 2003. At the conclusion, they announced a new album, Smile, which was released in March, 2004.

In the summer of 2004, L’Arc~en~Ciel had their North American debut (as part of their Smile tour) in Baltimore, Maryland, at Otakon.

L’Arc~en~Ciel’s next album, Awake, was released in June 2005. It was accompanied by a Japanese Awake tour in August the same year. A second, larger tour titled Asia Live 2005 was held shortly thereafter. The single “Link” was released in July 2005. It was then used as the opening theme for the anime movie FullMetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa.

Return to solo work

In the summer of 2005, Hyde composed the music for the song “Glamorous Sky.” The song was used in the movie Nana, another film based on a manga by Ai Yazawa. The song was sung by fellow Japanese artist Mika Nakashima and the lyrics were written by Ai Yazawa. In August, Hyde and his solo band performed the song on Music Station with Mika Nakashima, Hyde being on guitar.

The single “Countdown” was released on October 5 2005, with a track list including Japanese & English versions of the song “Countdown” made for the Japanese release of the movie Stealth and also a special rock version of “Evergreen” (originally from Roentgen).

A cover of the single “Countdown” was used as the “semifinal” stage in the Nintendo DS rhythm game Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2.

Later that month, Hyde hosted Halloween of the Living Dead, a three-night event held at Club Citta on October 29, 30th & 31st. Each night featured performances by Hyde himself, a guest artist/band and Jack-O-Latern. Artists/bands who took part in the Halloween performances are Monoral, Uverworld, Olivia Lufkin, HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, Yasu (of Janne Da Arc), & Mika Nakashima. The group Jack-O-Latern consisted of Hyde and the group Monoral playing many Halloween favorites such as the Ghostbusters theme.

Starting in January 2006, Hyde’s single “Season’s Call” was used as the second opening theme to the anime show Blood+. This single was released on February 2, 2006. Hyde’s album, Faith, was released on April 26, 2006.

International career

Faith was accompanied by a five-month tour with many locations in Japan, some exclusively open to members of his fanclub.

After signing on with Tofu Records as a solo artist, a US debut concert was scheduled as part of the Faith tour, which was held at Slim’s in San Francisco, California on July 5, 2006. Tickets for the event went on sale online at 1 p.m. EST on April 2, 2006 and sold out in three minutes. The second round of sales was held April 9, also online, and also sold out.

A second concert, held at House of Blues in Anaheim, California, on July 2 was added and tickets were sold out, as were two more US concerts (the Fillmore, San Francisco and House of Blues, Hollywood).

The overseas version of Faith was released on June 27, 2006 and included a bonus DVD featuring music videos for both “Countdown” and “Season’s Call”. In Faith, Hyde uses a sunburst Fender Jaguar as his main guitar; contrary to 666 album version, where he uses Gretsch guitars.

Hyde also made a brief appearance at the Tofu Records booth at Anime Expo 2006 in Anaheim, California on July 1 for a question and answer panel.

Following the completion of the FAITH tour, a DVD of the concerts was announced and was released November 8, 2006.

Hyde returned to work with L’Arc~en~Ciel which on 31 May 2007 released their first single in two years, Seventh Heaven.

VAMPS

In the spring of 2008, Hyde rejoined with guitarist K.A.Z (Oblivion Dust), who had previously worked with him on both his 666 and Faith albums, to form the rock unit VAMPS on Hyde’s own record label VAMPROSE. Donning red contact lenses and fake vampire teeth, the two released “Love Addict,” their first single under their new moniker, and began a 46-date tour, playing mostly music from Hyde’s previous albums.

Following two more single releases, VAMPS’ self-titled debut album dropped in May 2009. The album covers a range of rock territory, from metal to grunge to punk to pop.

The band launched a ten-date tour in the United States, performing in New York, Hartford, Columbia, MD, Baltimore, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Las Vegas, San Diego, and Los Angeles. Their appearances in Hartford and Columbia were part of the Vans Warped Tour, making them the only Japanese act on the lineup. Their final performance in the States, taking place at the historic Wiltern Theatre in L.A., was recorded and is set for a DVD release.

The band now has planned a Japanese arena tour, which will be their first. They are then set to perform on the USS Missouri in Hawaii in early September as a conclusion to the VAMPS LIVE 2009 Tour.

Associated People

Personal Life

First of all, i’m not talking about myself here i’m a girl. haha! Anyways, I am always amazed by FANBOYS – how they admire artists or celebrities and stuffs. Well maybe because they are very RARE in this world. I have a friend, a classmate actually, he loves Big Bang, Arashi, and L’arc en ciel. He loves G-Dragon and Hyde! Either Ohno or Aiba is his favorite from Arashi. haha! The truth is I just categorized him as a fanboy because he doesn’t confess that he is really ONE. haha! He said that he is just influenced by his sister that’s why he is really into jkpop/rock stuffs. From what I have observed, he only likes the three boygroups which I mentioned earlier. And oh, he really loves GD! He doesn’t like SuJu, SHINee, and SNSD. He seems to be allergic to SM TOWN! haha! Knowing the fact that I LOVE SHINee, SuJu, and SNSD, he would always make fun of them! urgh! That is so annoying! I hate him!

Did I mention that he loves/worships GD? haha! He loves BB but definitely, GD is his fave! Yes, that’s true! His primary picture in a site is GD! He has an album in a site which contains GD’s pics! GD is and will always be perfect in his eyes! He wants to have GD’s album! But he doesn’t have money to buy it.. haha! When he borrows my phone, he would always listen to Big Bang’s and GD’s songs! He is always updated about BB’s latest scoops, news, info, performances, TV appearances, etc. He is more knowledgable about them than me. And oh, he always SINGS their songs! Yes, he does! bwahaha! there was a time I was shocked. out of nowhere, he just sang Breathe! haha! Some of his faves are Haru haru, This Love, Last Farewell, Lies, The Leaders, Heartbreaker, and Breathe. Indeed, he is a Big Bang fanboy! And, I think nothing’s wrong with that. I actually find it very cute and amusing!

FANBOYS would never fail to amaze me, ever!

As a matter of fact, he introduced me to Big Bang. I would not be a VIP if he was not my friend.. hehe!

*i’m not in the mood while writing this.. something’s bothering my mind so please forgive me for my lame post.. thanks!*

*btw.. this is not yet done because i have many things to say about him.. i’ll just continue writing next time*

True, released in 1996, became their first number-one, million selling album.[3]

1997: Sakura’s departure

In February 1997, drummer Sakura was arrested for illegal drug possession.[4] He officially quit the band on October 4, 1997. This proved to be the lowest point in the band’s history. When news of Sakura’s arrest became public, there was an immediate official response and CDs were removed from the shelves.[5] “The Fourth Avenue Cafe” for Rurouni Kenshin was immediately replaced with former theme “Heart of the Sword” after only six episodes of running time. Their next single “The Fourth Avenue Cafe” was postponed.[6] It was eventually released in 2006.

Over the next few months the group continued to be featured in magazines, but only as a trio. “The Zombies”, which was notionally recorded as the “copy band”, sang their songs.[7] They also covered Marilyn Manson’s “Irresponsible Hate Anthem“.[7] The return from the break was marked by the appropriately named Reincarnation 97 Live in Tokyo Dome, with their new drummer, Yukihiro Awaji (former drummer with Zi:Kill and Die in Cries). The first concert in Tokyo Dome had an attendance of 56,000, which sold out in four minutes, a record at that time.[8]

In 1997, “Niji“, the first single after Sakura’s departure, was released with Yukihiro listed as a supporting member. Not long after the release of the single, Yukihiro was signed on as the official drummer for L’Arc-en-Ciel.

1998–2000: Blockbuster success

Their 1998 single “Winter Fall“, became their first number-one single on the oricon charts.[9][10] They released the album Heart in February 1998. Ark and Ray were released simultaneously on July 1, 1999, and became the first Japanese albums to be released simultaneously in many other Asian countries. Both topped the Oricon music charts, with Ark occupying number one and Ray at number two. The release of ark and ray marked the high point of the band’s career, with each selling over two million copies.[11]

Real followed in 2000, which was the last CD of new material for some time, although many more compilation and remix albums would follow. “Stay Away” from the album Real was featured in Drummania 4th Mix, making the song playable on the machine.

On August 23, Ken released a solo single entitled “Speed”.[18]

P’unk~en~Ciel is the revision of D’ark~en~Ciel, the former being a special event that took place during the early L’Arc~en~Ciel years when Sakura was the drummer. glitter-graphics.com

WeLL, , , KiTa MuLAI DARI mEMBAhAS l’arc-en-ciel

Semua bermula dari TeTsu,yang ingin membentuk BanD, di era band-booming saat itu. bersama temannya KeN, dia mEmbeNtuk byston well. setelah byston well bubar, kemudan dia membentuk band lain bersama HiRO. Suatu Hari dia melihat PeNemPiLan BaNd Lain BernAma JeRUsalem RoD.
1 bulan kemudian, tepatnya 25 November, mereka merilis single pertamanya Flood of Tears (c/w Yasouka) dan hanya tersedia 1000 kopi saja.
Tapi ternyata jalan mereka belum terlalu mulus. Pada 30 Desember 1992, setelah LIVE di Osaka Music Hall, Pero ikut hengkang. Sekali lagi, Laruku kelabakan.

Pada bulan september, single Yokan diikutkan dalam omnibus The Monsters of Shock Age.
Bersama Ki/oon, mereka merilis single video Nemuri ni Yosete pada 1 Juli, sementara album Tierra dirilis 2 minggu kemudian, sekaligus mengawali tur Sense of Time ‘94.
Pada 21 Mei 1995, mereka merilis single video And She Said, juga sekaligus memulai tur “in CLUB 95″ dimana mereka berkeliling jepang sejauh 15.407 km sambil mengadakan 19 kali konser di livehouse/club yang merka lalui.
Single DIVE TO BLUE dirilis 25 Maret, dan tur Light My Fire diadakan pada bulan Mei. disusul video A PIECE OF REINCARNATION pada 22 April.
Memasuki tahun 1999, Laruku terlihat makin sibuk.
Akhirnya ken membentuk Sons of all Pussys (S.O.A.P) dimana ia reuni dengan mantan drummer laruku, Sakura.

Josei Seven reports that singer DAIGO (31) and ex-Morning Musume., now Gravi Idol member, Ai Kago (21) were seen at a goukon together with other gravi idols at a dining restaurant.

They rented a VIP room with karaoke and ate. hyde (who DAIGO has much respect for) was also reported at the restaurant, but the two (DAIGO and hyde), were not in the same party and arrived separately.

It’s also reported that DAIGO has gone to this restaurant with other gravi idol goukons.

“The other gravi idols include Hitomi Aizawa (27) and Yuu Tejima (25), this time it’s Kagochan. The two (DAIGO and Ai) seemed to enjoy drinking together, but since Kagochan has very low tolerance for alcohol, she didn’t feel so good and went home. When she came out of the bathroom, she ran into hyde,” said a reporter.

hyde who was there with friends drinking, happened to get the room right next to DAIGO’s ‘goukon room’.

An insider said, “There seemed to be a lot of females, especially one’s from work.” They also said that hyde had caught wind of what was going on next door and ‘barged in’ on DAIGO’s parade. “They were singing their own songs, trying to out do one another; hyde wasn’t about to give up either, so he sang DAIGO’s song, and very good I might add.” This little ‘gorgeous recital’ lasted till early morning.

It looked like DAIGO and Kagochan had a good time drinking. It also seems that DAIGO set up this ‘meeting’ between Aizawa and Kagochan at the gouko – thus is the world of show business.

Even though at the end of it all, the point of goukon changed when hyde entered the picture; they all had a good time.

VAMPS finished off their 2009 tour in Hawai’i and on the USS Missouri in Pearl Harbor no less. It’s almost historical seeing as how that is where the official surrender and agreement between Japan and the Allies of Tokyo Bay in September of 1945. The show is also the first to be performed on the boat itself, but didn’t harbor any media attention from the U.S. media.

VAMPS performed 20 songs including their upcoming single, “Sweet Dreams“. Six hundred fans paid $150 to watch this extravegant event.

To all their fans, HYDE yelled, “Thank you Missouri!“
