Andoy returns to Astigs

Andoy stops Ilai from destroying the stage set up for the prom night. A brawl ensues and some fireworks were lit, which sets the covered court on fire. Andoy lies helpless on the floor and only Gibbs stays to help him. The rest of the Astigs arrive while Ilai, Dexter and Bryan remain trapped inside. Then with Tyler’s initiative, the Astigs also save their rivals from the spreading fire.

While Andoy is in critical condition, the boys are called in the principal’s office one by one. Ilai comes clean about his wicked deed and the Astigs choose to forgive and forget all his transgressions. But when Andoy finally wakes up from his coma, he refuses to see his true friends. The Astigs then give him the space that he needs for soul-searching.

In time, Andoy realizes that he owes his life to the Astigs and that he was wrong to throw away their friendship just to be with the popular group. Seeing that he really regrets everything, the Astigs thankfully find it in their hearts to forgive Andoy. And by the end of the school year, they all graduate from high school with a special commendation for setting a good example to their batchmates.

What’s more, Josie ends up with Tyler and April with Andoy. Galo also finds the girl for him, Ipe becomes an athlete while Sean takes up biochemistry to discover cure for his allergies someday.

Andoy becomes a member of the Sports Club.

Years after admiring April from afar, Andoy finally finds the guts to reveal his longstanding affection for her. The two rekindle their friendship and become closer than ever. Andoy also becomes a member of the Sports Club after his unresolved fight with the Astigs. Ilai helps him do a makeover to make him a certified “Mr. Popular” like him. But these changes went to his head and suddenly made him arrogant and difficult to deal with.

As the prom night nears, Kid—who recently joined the Astigs—encourages Tyler, Sean, Ipe and Galo to promote their club by sponsoring this big event in their school. They bring this up to the student council president but Ilai refuses to share the privilege since the coolest club in campus has always been in charge of it. As such, the principal decides to let them compete by submitting their concepts. The project is later awarded to the Astigs who thought of an “enchanted prom theme”.

All is set for the party when Andoy accidentally overhears Ilai’s plan to sabotage the Astigs’ arrangement. Andoy alerts Tyler about the break-in but the latter barely understands his warning. Andoy joins Ilai’s party

Josie desperately wants to attend the general assembly. of the Sports Club but Andoy refuses to chaperone her. As such, she lies to Tyler about him being invited to Ilai’s party so he can accompany her there. Tyler forgets about their agreement however, leaving Josie without a companion.

The Astigs are also having a pool party at Sean’s home that same night. But as expected, their schoolmates chose to party with the popular group instead. Then Andoy learns that April plans to accept Ilai as her boyfriend so he quickly rushes to his rival’s house to stop this from happening.

All hell breaks loose however when Andoy suddenly shoves Ilai in the pool. But the fight dies down as soon as Ilai says that he’s sorry about forcing himself on April. At the same time, he offers a truce again to Andoy. Soon, Andoy starts to enjoy himself in the company of Ilai’s friends. Unfortunately, Ipe, Sean, Tyler and Galo caught him in this situation and they all felt betrayed due to their leader’s actions.

This January 12, a new show takes over the time slot of Abt Ur Luv! Starting this Saturday, we can all look forward to “Astigs”, a teen-oriented show, that will feature different stories to watch out for every six weeks. No need to worry though since some of your favorite posse in Abt Ur Luv will still be seen here in Star Magic’s latest pet project. The regular cast of “Astigs” is composed of AJ Perez, Chris Gutierrez, Angelo Patrimonio, Enchong Dee and Dino Imperial.

For the initial offering, the story is about four high school guys who have a simple wish, that is, to be accepted in school for who they are. And just like any other youngster, they dream to be a part of the “popular crowd”. One sure way to be known is to belong in a school club. But no one wants to accept them so they decide to put up a club of their own which they call “Astig”. And their core vision is to accept anyone who dares to be different.

Be sure to catch the adventures and misfortunes that Andoy (Imperial), Sean (Guittierez), Ipe (Dee), Galo (Patrimonio) and Tyler (Perez) will come across as they gain an equally “famed” status with the cool group with Ilai (Carlo Guevarra) at its helm.
