First of all let me explain the absence of posts over the past 2 days. There’s not point in bullshitting you so I’ll just tell the truth and tell you that I didn’t have time. Anyway…

This song brings back shamefully many memories. And what’s more shameful is that they’re not even bad memories. I liked Avril Lavigne a lot when I was younger. It’s true that she’s a hell of a lot worse now, but back then she didn’t make bad pop songs. I think this was one of the first albums that I bought independently (after some Sum 41 of course. I had an odd obsession with pop punk) and I’ve never regretted spending the money. I’d say that half the songs on there were hits and most people who knew that era and even those who didn’t like Avril Lavigne would remember them today. If only she did the same type of thing now I’d say she wouldn’t be that bad. But she doesn’t so she is.
This is a plea to Avril. Please make more songs with choruses with just the weird vocal noise like this one have. Then I will buy it and we will be happy.

Avril Lavigne has filed for divorce from Deryck Whibley.

The singer, 25, cites “irreconcilable differences” in court paperwork, according to TMZ.com. She’s not asking for spousal support, and has also requested not to pay spousal support to Whibley.

“I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship. I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know, and I love him with all my heart,” she went on. “Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note.”

Hey People,

I’m SO sorry I haven’t blogged in a while! School has been in session for around 3 weeks and I’m finally learning how to manage my time with my crazy new schedule. So far I’m adjusting to my high school EXTREMELY well, and I’m having alot of fun. I’ve met a bunch of awesome people, and my classes are great. I do have a lot more homework than I antisepated (hence the late blog) but things should be running more smoothly in the next 2-3 weeks.

So far I have recieved 3 finished tracks off of my demo. They sound fairly good but, being somewhat of a perfectionist, I am not thrilled with them. Nonetheless, I will still post them on YouTube, itunes, and Amazon. The one thing about recording a demo is that, you never know how hard it is until you actually do it. It takes so much time. Not only all the hours recording, but the hours writing the music and rehearsing ALL of the songs until they are as close to perfect as they can be, not to mention waiting weeks for the tracks to be finished and the mixing to be completed. I never imagined the demo would be such a huge part of me right now. It seems I’ve dedicated so much time to it that it’s most of what I think about. It means alot to me. And I am so blessed to have the most amazing parents who made all of this happen for me. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t have a demo to talk about, or guitars to play…I might be a closet singer/songwriter but that’s as far as it would go for me. I owe them everything. For letting me be who I am, and supporting me with no matter what I choose to do. I feel like I’m the luckiest girl in the world =)

Over the Hedge is a 2006 animated film . The film is based on a comic with the same name . It shows the story of a Raccoon that destroyed the food stock of a bear trying to recover it using a group of animals living in wood near a newly constructed neighbourhood . With voice actors such as Bruce Willis , Avril Lavigne and Eugene Levy the movie is a great comedy with a little bit of drama .

The movie is recommended to both adult and child community and has some great messages that people can discover inside it .

Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to update everyone on a few things going on. First off, I am going back to school this Monday and I’m very excited. I’m going to be a freshman in high school! There is an AMAZING music program at my new school, and I am going to be taking a voice and guitar class along with the required courses. I’m curious to see how this year is going to fan out for me. I’m in a new city, I don’t know too many people, and I’m diving into the most difficult schooling situation of them all. But I’m still very, very, excited =D.

Of course, there is another reason why I am excited…I joined the NSAI! And…there is a songwriters competition currently in progress! I am submitting 9 of my original songs for it. There are some amazing prizes for the top 12 songs. And I PRAY that I will be in the top 12. That would mean so much to me. I have not co-written any of my songs, it is just me…and I often just pour out my heart in those songs, and for ANY of my songs to reach someone else emotionally, would be the best feeling in the world. The deadline for the competition is October 31, 2009 so I won’t hear anything back for quite some time, but I will definatly post the results here when I receive them.

One last thing, I will be uploading an original song of mine on YouTube within the next few weeks. It is a new song I wrote called, “Flying”. It is about that one person (it could be anyone, your best friend, boyfriend/girlfriend, aunt, uncle, mom, dad, brother, sister…ANYONE) but the one person that, even when everything else is wrong, they make you forget about it, and make you feel like flying. I will most a link to it here as soon as it is up.

That’s right.  Avril Lavigne is getting a divorce and my plan is coming to fruition.  It’s been a few months since my last post about her but you may recall that I have a little thing for this no-talent ass-swallower.  She is a lush with a propensity to swallow genitalia and I like that in a woman.  You may also remember that I think she’s a freak.  Her body has gotten much better and if that douche-house of a husband, the dude from SUM41, could get with her as easily as he did, I should be able to get with her inside of 5 minutes after the divorce.  Really, I just wanted to post more photos of her.  So, here you are.  Let me paint you a picture:

Avril enters the room in a pink plaid schoolgirl skirt with a studded belt around her waist.  The only thing covering her tits is a skull and crossbones handkercheif she used as a bikini bottom earlier in the day.  She is wearing fishnet stocking and fishnets on her arms with holes for her thumbs.

She unzips your pants and before she can get her mouth below your belt, her snaggletooth gets stuck on your belt loop and you spend the next three hours trying to decide whether she needs her left lateral incisor or not.  You vote not because she smells like a four day bender and she votes to keep it but, let’s be honest, you’re the man and you’re making the decisions.  Before you can swing the hammer you found under her bed, her ex-husband comes in and she is so startled that she somehow breaks free.  To the SUM41 dude, it looks as if you have your pants down and are about to knock his woman out with a hammer.  He attacks you and you smile because (a) you have a reason to fight this guy and (b) you have a hammer.

Hello Everyone,

I thought that since in my last post I discussed my songs, I’d share some tips to help the songwriters just starting out.

There are many different ways you could begin to write a song. But everything starts with the inspiration. Even if it’s a subconcious thought or a movie you watched that made you cry, it always starts with inspiration. After you know what your writing about, you can do things in whatever order you want. It could be, melody, music, lyrics or lyrics, melody, music…I have used every combination imaginable and haven’t found one more effective than the other.

As an artist, everything should inspire you, and I honestly mean EVERYTHING. Movies, shows, dreams, stories, books, words, paintings, people, even another song, and of course my personal favorite, real life. When you write about a personal experience it serves more than one purpose. Firstly, the song will come out with so much raw emotion in the lyrics and that is extremely important. The lyrics have to be real. Second, it makes you feel better to write about your life. I have written songs about my life countless times and I can honestly say that it is very rewarding. And lastly, its easier to write about. You know the story behind the song, better yet, you were INVOLVED in that story. Tell the world how you feel about what happened!

Next, is the melody. This is, in my opinion, the hardest part. As a songwriter, it will be all to easy to use the same melody with different lyrics and call it a new song before you realize you’ve already used that melody. I think it’s much easier to come up with a melody when you have an instrument. How do you come up with a melody? Well that varies, sometimes when your writing a song the melody just plays in your head. Sometimes you have to write the lyrics and then just sing them…it could come out beautifully or awfully but after you try it a few times, you usually get something you like.

Você pode imaginar o que os fãs de ópera/clássico diriam sobre cantores de música clássica que cantam em uma ‘banda metal??’ Oh meu deus… isso não pode ser feito…ópera é tããããão especial e metal não é música… Tenho ouvido por mim mesma estas coisas sendo ditas na universidade de música e no meio de pessoas que estudaram música clássica.E quando eu comecei a ter aulas de canto aos 15 anos… Você PRECISA cantar ópera ou clássico!! O rock irá matar sua voz!!!Hmmm… ;=)

Eu cantei em um show local de Natal alguns anos atrás e era a única que não foi treinada em ópera ou clássico. E quando ensaiamos, o responsável disse logo após eu cantar uma música mais rock: Bem, ISSO também é uma forma de cantar… e pareceu que ele havia engolido um limão muito ruim… ;=)Uma coisa é todos termos diferentes gostos na música… nós devemos ter e isso está ótimo, mas quando se trata de ‘regras’ e tal radicalismo que podemos ver não somente no metal mas em outros gêneros também, eu acho que é triste para a música.

Música deve ser alegre, quebrando fronteiras, tornando as pessoas mais próximas, fazendo as pessoas sentirem, abraçarem e falarem com corações e almas, e mais do que isso, preencher o mundo com sons diferentes.. como eu disse antes quando falei sobre diferenças nas pessoas, eu não quero ouvir apenas UM som repetitivo todos os dias, eu quero ter sons diferentes ao redor.Mais cores na música também ;=)E aqui [veja vídeo do YouTube abaixo] é apenas um exemplo de cruzamento de fronteiras: Nightwish em um remix da DJ Orkidea…ótimo, ótima mix e eu amaria dançar ao som disto na pista de dança. ;=) techno é perfeito na pista de dança. ;=)”

O que eu acho: Anette está certa e atacou boa parte das visões preconceituosas sobre estilos musicais. Eu só acho que alguns estilos musicais misturados a outros acabam por descaracterizá-los, como quando se juntou o heavy metal e o rap e fez-se o numetal, ritmo que eu não curto aprecio apenas o Papa Roach e o POD. A música realmente não tem fronteiras, desde que seja bem feita. Bem, vejam o clipe anunciado acima pela Anette e tirem suas próprias conclusões. Eu particularmente preferiria se o restante da música fosse aproveitado e não apenas a introdução e a primeira parte dela:
