Llega hoy el nuevo update para LittleBigPlanet. Este update añadirá algunas nuevas funcionalidades y cambios para mejorar la experiencia online. Algunas de las actualizaciones son:

• Cambios en la manera en que el profile de juego es salvado, dando asi mas espacio y mejor desempeño.
• Ahora podrás crear niveles online con hasta tres amigos.
• El sistema para crear partidas cambiará a uno basado en localización, con el propósito para reducir el lag.
• Los checkpoints ahora podrán ser activados por switches.
• En Customization mode, utilizando la herramienta de Sticker/Decoration se podrá voltear al sackboy.

Little Big Planet is one of the most creative and amazing game’s ever published. The game has an adventurous left to right exploration base to it. But what put’s it apart are the level’s. The game has a story base to it with developer created level’s that are very colorful and all age friendly. Many puzzle’s and twists line the game. but the biggest part to this game is the ability to creat your own level. The developer’s give you the tool’s to create a level from scratch. They give you the material’s and various sticker’s, decoration’s, and pre-built object’s. But the fun is creating your own. The sky is the limit for what you can do. They give you tools that allow you to animate any object you wish to create. And give you the ability to test your level to work the kinks out. When you’re done polishing your level you can publish it to the in-game community. Where anyone with a copy of LBP can then play your level. After playing it you have the option’s to rate the level and also add tag’s as you would in a blog so that people can search different topic’s that they want to play. The game pushes the boundaries of game design and also the creative minds that play the games.

Este próximo 30 de Noviembre, se lanzará el “Leedarmmer Patch” (Así le dicen los de Media Molecule) y esta vez traerá el tan requerido Editor de Niveles Online! Yey! Y no solo eso, otras pequeñas mejoras y cambios serán agregados. Toda la información y un videillo explicativo, después de la pausa.

Otras mejoras, según Media Molecule:

• Un Mejor sistemas para guardar tus avances (explicación en el vídeo).

• Se mejora la conectividad (explicación en el vídeo).

• Si juegas un nivel, pero no la terminan, una medalla de plata Sackboy se mostrará, pero para obtener una medalla de oro se debe completar el nivel.

• La LittleBigStore un poco más fácil de navegar y también a las cosas de descarga después de la compra.

• Ahora hay una opción de “Auto-Rechazar invitaciones” de otros jugadores. La opción está en “Configuración del perfil”. Nadie será capaz de unirse a ti a menos que elijas “Jugar en línea”. Este ajuste no se guarda en su perfil y se debe poner cada  que juegues.

• Los Interruptores de Sticker se han hecho más “visibles”.

• Los checkpoints ahora se puede activar usando los interruptores.

• Ahora puede utilizar Stickers y la herramienta de decoración, y girar al Sackboy en el modo de Personalización.

• Añadido el diseño de teclado QWERTY para el chat de texto del menú.

• “Play, Create, Share scores” han sido eliminados – pensamos que estos resultados eran una buena idea, pero nunca se trabajó en la forma en que queríamos. Pueden volver un día. Quizás.

• Presionando L2 y R2 mientras navegas los niveles de la comunidad, ahora puede mostrar el nombre o el autor de cada nivel de la tierra, así como el Hearts Counting  y Rating.

Estas son maomeno las nuevas características que se agregarán (o quitarán) al alabado por muchos LBP. Lo que yo sigo preguntando, es ¿Para cuando el agua? ¿Para cuando niveles nuevos? ¿Para cuando Final Fantasy? ¿O Disney? ¿Marvel?

Some cheesy goodness coming to LBP soon

On Monday, 30th November, will bring the much anticipated ‘Leerdammer’ patch. Along with a big list of changes it will add the Online Create mode, which was meant to be there at release. As well as online create you can now backup your profile and level data and store more photos and costumes in your pop-it. That’s not it! Here is a list of other fixes and improvements:

• If you play a level but do not complete it, a silver Sackboy medal will be displayed on the badge, to get a gold medal you must complete the level.
• We made the LittleBigStore a bit easier to navigate and also to download things after purchase.
• There is now an option to ‘Auto-Reject’ invitations from other players. The option is in ‘Profile Settings’. If you have this set to ‘On, no one will be able to join you unless you choose to ‘Play Online’. This setting is not saved to your profile and needs to be set every time you play.
• Sticker switches have been made more noticeable and give better feedback to the player when attempting to place stickers on them.
• Checkpoints can now be activated using switches.
• Race Gates can be made thin again!
• You can now use the Sticker and Decoration tool and turn Sackboy around while in Customisation mode.
• Added the QWERTY keyboard layout to the text chat menu.
• Play, Create, Share scores have been removed – we thought these scores were a good idea but they never worked in the way we wanted them to. They may return one day. Maybe.
• If you collect a key whilst playing a community level, you will now see the level unlocking for you once the level you are playing has been completed. You can also search for linked levels in the search menu.
• Pressing and while browsing community levels can now show you the name or the author of each level on the earth as well as the Heart Count and Rating.

I’ve been splitting my leisure time (that isn’t spent on recording music) between LBP and MW2, quite possibly two of the greatest games of all-time. However, the one thing that angers me about them both is the story for the single-player experience. Both games need some serious attention devoted to their stories. By the way, if you haven’t finished MW2 by now, Shepard’s a traitor, Price comes back, Roach gets killed by Shepard, and Soap kills Shepard with a throwing knife. Mind you, this is all after Price launches a nuclear warhead into the Earth’s atmosphere that acts as a giant EMP…but doesn’t rain radiation down upon everyone. (If you’re scratching your head, you’re not the only one). And, LBP, with its out-of-the-blue-final-boss-that-really-is-super-easy–

Now that my nerdisms are out the way, I’m floating up shit’s creek armless with the paddles right in front of me. I have about 35 pages of work I need to crank out in the next couple weeks. This, conveniently enough, happens to fall over the Thanksgiving break. So, in addition to dealing with bookoo work, I have to deal with my little cousins running around like brats out of hell.

Sonic the Hedgehog themed Sackboys will be arriving for LittleBigPlanet later this year. As you see above the pack will contain Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles, Tails, Sonic the Werehog and Eggman. Painting Sonic black will give you Shadow too.

They will all be available on the 17th of December. Currently this release date has only be confirmed for Hong Kong but I’ll keep you updated on any information I find.

Dzisiaj na PSNie pojawiła się do ściągnięcia gra Little Big Planet w wersji na PSP. Cały dzień wszystkie serwisy trąbiły, że sugerowana cena detaliczna wynosi 99zł (oficjalna informacja). To w takim razie pytam się, czemu w wirtualnym sklepie Sony za tą grę trzeba zapłacić 127zł? No panowie kuźwa, tak się nie robi! Skandal!

I jeszcze jeden “ciekawy” przypadek związany tym razem z grą Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice. Jak wiemy tytuł został spolszczony już dawno temu (wersja pudełkowa UMD). Niedawno trafił odpowiednik na PSN i oczywiście Polskiego języka zabrakło! Wcięło go? Mało tego, nigdzie ale to nigdzie nie można było znaleść stosownej informacji (nawet dzwoniłem na infolinie Sony, też nie wiedzieli czy takowy język w grze jest czy nie). Pełen profesjonalizm, nie ma co!

Eu me sinto culpado em abandonar esse blog. É o segundo post seguido que abordo esse tema, mas whatever. Foi só pra ter um assunto pra introduzi-lo. Vou voltar a atualizar aqui assim que minhas provas acabarem e eu ficar mais relaxado. Pra vocês terem uma ideia, preciso tirar 7,5 na próxima prova de matemática.

Bom, pra manter vocês atualizados: ontem chegou meu DVD do The Who (farei review logo mais) ao vivo em Kilburn. Encomendei no sábado, pela Livraria Cultura, e chegou ontem. Tudo dentro do prazo.

Ontem também tive que me arrastar do colégio até a porra da loja de música pra comprar um jogo novo de cordas pra minha guitarra. É, eu consegui estourar elas. O maior esforço nem foi esse: foi TROCAR. As cordas mais finas dobram com mais facilidade, e assim permanecem. Eu consegui, de alguma forma, colocar o negócio na tarraxa de um jeito errado. Tive que refazer tudo. Bom, o que importa é que tá tudo bem agora, só falta as cordas se habituarem com a afinação certa e partir pro abraço. Próximo passo é comprar o amplificador.

Mudando de assunto, estou nesse momento baixando uns jogos por torrent, pro PSP. God of War (já tinha zerado e tudo mais, mas depois que meu PSP antigo morreu, deletei ele e agora tô com nostalgia pra jogá-lo), Little Big Planet e Assassin’s Creed. Fora isso, venho jogando Rock Band: Unplugged e Super Mario World no emuladorzim (outro motivo pelo qual eu amo meu PSP <3). No PC, comecei a usar o Steam. Resultado: baixei algumas demos, pesadinhas até. Tô viciado e encantado com a série Left 4 Dead. Comecei jogando a versão demonstrativa do 2. Gostei bastante e acabei baixando a versão full do primeiro, e tô adorando. Recomendo a todos. Quem sabe, faço review também. Fora L4D, joguei Braid e gostei bastante. É, sem dúvidas, o Mario da nova geração. Porém, com funcionalidades alteradas. Também recomendo.

Bom, acho que é tudo o que eu tenho pra dizer a vocês. Até o próximo (?) post. Abs.

To be honest, 3D platforming games tend to have a rough time on the PSP.  With the lack of a second analog “nub” it eliminates any sort of camera control function leaving you at the mercy of the auto camera usually putting you in frustrating situations.  With Little Big Planet PSP being a 2 ½D (i.e. no camera issues) platformer made specifically for the PSP, this game has the potential of being the best platform game on the system.  Bringing all the aspects that made the PS3 Little Big Planet the award winning game that it was (including community level design), the PSP iteration looks to be in good shape to follow suit.  Sean C.

Así es, un año… Mmm el tiempo se va de volada, parece que fue apenas cuando vi el Little Big Planet en un aparador de Sears y le dije a mi esposa, “quiero ese juego”, así con voz de mando [no pidiendo permiso...] y después a instalarlo y después a jugar y después llegó Street fighter IV y después… después… ya no me acuerdo;  esperen… en alguna ocasión compre un traje para mi Sackboy [con esos residuos que las tarjetas de PSN suelen dejar...] compre el traje de Patapon … que chingon que se veía mi Sack con ese traje… y a jugar otra vez y después, lo olvide por completo, lo arrumbe.

Esta es mi historia con LBP, un Game of the Year que lo que me vendió fue el hype, no estoy diciendo que sea malo, tampoco estoy diciendo que los que lo compraron y jugaron al 100% sean borregos, lo que estoy diciendo es que en mi muy particular punto de vista LBP no me atrapo como para jugarlo todos los días, todas las noches [como MGS4, por ejemplo...] es un juego muy bien hecho, se ve muy bonito, el gameplay es de los más… digamos particular, pero… no me atrapo.

Estoy en platicas con mi conciencia para ver si lo voy a dejar a Gamerush o si me lo quedo y esperar a que algún día me llegue la iluminación y lo jugué… que haré?

Por cierto esta nota es para informarles que [como ya dije al principio...] LBP cumple 1 año y para festejar Media Molecule [y solo por 7 días] están regalando 2 trajes para el Sackboy, los cuales estarán disponibles a partir del 5 de noviembre; los trajes puedes verlos a continuación:

Sei que Little Big Planet™ já é um jogo um tanto “antigo”, mas não deixa de ser legal.
Apesar de sua aparência infantil, é um jogo bom para passar o tempo.
No inicio, confesso que achava o jogo muito enjoadinho, porém suponho que seja pelo primeiro nível ser muito chato, eu gosto de dificuldades para passar e de “quebrar a cabeça”, e neste primeiro nível tudo é muito fácil, assim como alguns níveis mais adiante, (eu acho que em jogos quando tudo vem fácil não me agrada muito) porem quando você vai passando de nível o jogo começa a ficar muito mais legal, com desafios que “prendem” mais o jogador.
Em Little Big Planet™ você passa por níveis onde buscamos fazer o maior número de pontos, que são bolinhas, e também novos itens de personalização, que é um item muito legal no jogo, você monta seu personagem, com roupas e rostos muito diferentes e estranhos, também pode fazer seus próprios níveis que podem ser compartilhados na rede para outros jogadores também jogarem.
O Little Big Planet™ possui também uma opção “online” que os jogadores concorrem para pegar mais pontos nas fases, que podem ser jogadas com até quatro jogadores, e com minha conexão de dois mega, não deu o famoso “lag”, jogando tranqüilo (a não ser minha irmã, que jogava comigo, me enchendo para passar dos obstáculos).
Bem se você tem um PS3 e curti jogos do estilo Mario, Little Big Planet™ é uma boa pedida para passar horas jogando, quando estiver enjoado dos excessivos jogos FPS que são lançados no mercado.

Por si no aprovechaste este regalito el año pasado, tus amigos de Media Molecule anunciaron en su Blog que para celebrar Halloween lanzarán el Trajecito de Pumpkin Head para tu Sackboy GRATIS mañana (10.29.09). Ahora si no hay excusa. Si este año no sales en Halloween porque no tienes disfraz, conéctate al PSN porque la fiesta va estar en Little Big Planet.

Media Molecule acaba de anunciar que la máscara de calabaza estará disponible una vez más para su descarga en conmemoración de Halloween de este año. Se especula que su precio sea el mismo que el del año pasado y estará disponible este jueves, así que si no la pudiste conseguir hace un año, será mejor que te pongas buzo por qué no se sabe por cuánto tiempo estará disponible, es posible que si no aprovechas ahora no la puedas conseguir sino hasta el próximo año.
