I am studying Spanish right now and I wanted to share something I learned the other day. As you may or may not know, the Spanish language has masculine and feminine nouns. And most all nouns that end in A are feminine. For example la casa, la sopa, la mesa, la cuchara, etc.

So the word for problem in Spanish is problema; however, it is not la problema (feminine), but el problema (masculine). So I kept making the error in saying “la problema”.

BUT, NOT ANYMORE… My teacher reminded me that, problems are always MASCULINE (EL) and solutions are always FEMININE (la solucion).

We men have to get our shite together, but for the time being, I will stop making the mistake of saying la problema and hopefully sound less like a gringo.

Live well!

Any language that you wish to learn is easiest learned by spending a great deal of time in that particular country. You will see that speaking a second language occasionally is easy.

feel more comfortable and confident around Spanish speaking people

be able to read books, magazines and web sites written in Spanish

be able to watch and understand Spanish movies

be able to write to and email Spanish speaking people

or you simply want to become exceptional at Spanish for any other reason.

If you utilize a multi-method plan you will have found the easiest way to learn Spanish.Doing the same thing over and over will eventually stick in your memory and your mind. There is always going to be something that you do not like about a particular method of learning. Do not change what you are doing I the middle of your lessons.
Your “plan” should be made up of a system that will be the easiest way to learn Spanish for you. An audio software program seems to work great for many students. Programs are available on the internet much cheaper than they were in the past. You will find the lessons are easy to follow and will teach you with ease. The Internet is your friend for many reasons. Friends can be found online through any of the media websites to assist you in your learning process. Before the Internet came along one would have to search out study buddies either through the mail or through other means that proved to be very time consuming and often times unfruitful. You will not have any trouble at all finding someone to help you learn their language.
Finding a couple of books to keep handy will provide you with the easiest way to learn Spanish. Using a Spanish dictionary will prove to be a wise decision. Recognizing words will be much easier with a dictionary. There are going to be various scenarios that you will want to be able to communicate about of participate in and a phrase book will help a great deal. The last thing to consider is how you learned English when you were young. Spanish children’s books is a must-have for your arsenal because it will help you with the basics.
This has been proven to be the easiest way to learn Spanish. There is only one way to learn the language. You will actually have to use the plan in order to make it work. By studying for 30 minutes a day you will find that you are learning in no time. There will probably be 20 minute lessons on your audio. Use the remaining time to look up any strange words or phrases. You will also want to check in with your buddy quite often to practice. Not giving up is quite possibly the best thing that you can do for yourself.

Learn Spanish. Are you interested on how to learn Spanish on line? Well, more and more people are starting to discover how easy it is to learn Spanish online. You will find that there are a variety of Spanish software programs to choose from and you need to find the Spanish online lessons that are going to meet your needs. So, here are four benefits on why you should learn Spanish on line.

First of all, one of the main reasons that you should learn Spanish on line is because it could help you secure a job that requires you to know how to speak Spanish. There are many job positions that require both English and Spanish speaking employees especially those in the financial and health care markets. By learning how to speak Spanish, it can give you an advantage over your competition since you will be more valuable to the company.

Another good benefit about learning Spanish online is that it will be easier for you to have a Spanish conversation with the millions of Spanish speaking people in the United States. This is especially true if you happen to live in California or in the states that are on the Southern Border. Also, if you happen to travel into Mexico, it will be very beneficial if you are able to speak some Spanish basics with the natives.

An additional benefit on why you should learn Spanish on line is that you can learn Spanish at home. You will be able to learn the Spanish language at your own pace instead of being rushed in a classroom Spanish course. Also, chances are that learning Spanish on line will be more practical, convenient and affordable than your typical Spanish classes and less expensive than a private tutor. Additionally, you will save time and transportation cost if you learn Spanish at home instead of having to travel to a local college to take the Spanish courses.

Finally, by taking the time to learn Spanish on line, you will then be able to communicate the Spanish vocabulary better at restaurants, airports, and many other locations where you encounter people who speak Spanish. So, if you want to learn to speak Spanish on line for your job, or because you plan on taking a vacation to a Spanish country, then now would be the right time to learn Spanish.

The Instituto Cervantes has established its 73rd centre and first in India in New Delhi for those wishing to learn or perfect their knowledge of Spanish, the world’s fourth most commonly spoken language and the second language of international communication. “Classes on the other co-official languages in Spain: Catalan, Basque and Galician are also taught,” said Carmen Caffarel, Director, Instituto Cervantes.
The courses are organised in six levels and students enrol at the level most suited to their knowledge of Spanish. There are quarterly, four-monthly, six-monthly, annual and intensive courses. Students with particular requirements can take special courses like business Spanish, scientific Spanish, legal Spanish and Spanish for tourism. Once completed, participants receive an official certificate from the institute.
The Instituto Cervantes also offers you the option to do a Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE). The DELE is the official internationally recognised qualification certifying a student’s knowledge of Spanish as a foreign language. You can also take up distance learning courses as the Instituto Cervantes in its Spanish Virtual Classroom (AVE) offers programmes to learn the language while taking advantage of the possibilities provided by the Internet.

When it comes to the beauty, rhythm and emotional history of a language, none is more charged and beautiful than that of Spanish. It is said that Spanish is the most romantic language in the world. It is also certainly one of the oldest. Today many people take steps towards learning how to speak Spanish. If you are interested in visiting Spain or some other Latin country, or wish to learn a second language, then learning Spanish will prove to be of great benefit to you.

As far as learning Spanish goes the process is a fairly simple one. Indeed many people choose to learn Spanish from the comforts fo your bedroom. Many paths permit the pursuit of this option. For example you can learn Spanish through the help of a spanish teaching books. Reading these books will teach you the core rudiments behind the Spanish Vocabulary. The disadvantage of this method though is that it does little towards improving your vocal understanding of spanish.

Entonces…..Before coming to South America I had a million people telling me the best way to learn Spanish, from ‘you should listen to a language cd in your sleep, it really does go in’ to ‘get a spanish speaking boyfriend, then it REEAAALLLY does go in’ (much more tempting!) But I have never been the best at learning languages, and when I checked out the Rosetta Stone website and listened to that plummy English man saying boring things about clicking on words and pictures I rather lost interest. But I was excited to give Bueno, entonces… a try because I heard it’s a new approach to an aged model, and the best way to learn spanish (also the girls in the Minature Studios office described it as ‘spicey’ and I like a bit of spice soooo…)

First impressions- real time thought process: Ha! David is a desperate flirt! Oh god it’s going abit fast…… I like the the Pizarra Magica (magic whiteboard)….getting used to the speed now…..can’t read, write and think……agaaggaahhhh…

This is going to be good, I prefer Dorky David and Jimena, the flirty teacher, to the Rosetta Stone dullard, I like the format, and the writing on the white board really helps me follow to chat. I have been in Spanish speaking countries for a little while now, so already know some basics, but the class has been really useful to re-cap some things, I picked up some useful spanish phrases, and the writing on the screen has really helped me with spelling, because often I just write any old thing down in a vaguely phonetic way! I have been hearing people say things while I have been out and about in BA, and obviously not understood them, but a few of them popped up in the lesson, so it has been useful already!
