Sunt extraordinar de curioasa in schimb cine v-a fost muza: Beyonce, Kevin Fetherline sau toti albii liceeni cu aere de negri de cartier? Personal as zice ca toti trei. Si mai personal as zice ca in ciuda versului “just tell him to the left” inca nu ati adoptat in totalitate stilul lui Beyonce desi ati fost aparent la un sutien paietat de a avea acelasi cantec. Nu va faceti grii, cu effort si putina vata, se rezolva si asta. Toate cele bune,

Cam in genul asta as formula o scrisoare Ne-Sirului Jesse McCartney pentru aberatia de cantec care doar ce l-am ascultat unde minus gesturile si niste crema de pantofi pe fata canta efectiv in stilul dezolant al canteretilor negri care au avut un buget de 10$ sa isi faca un clip.

Aspectul de scobitoare masculina chiar nu il facea credibil in rolul masculului caruia ii place de o tipa si incearca sa o convinga sa isi paraseasca prietenul, pentru ca Jesse aparent “does it better”. Va cred ca nu v-ati terminat studiile la Oxford, dar lasati jargonul unde ii sta bine ca pe dumneavostra e pur si simplu ridicol si penibil. Talk white!

Bine, acum nu zic ca nu o fi avand sustinatori. Domnul Kevin Fetherline, sunt sigura ca i-a apreciat imaginea. Doar la inceputul carierei sale a sustinut ca atunci cand se va lansa, lumea va uita de Eminem. Singura problema a domnului Britney Spears a fost ca 5 minute mai tarziu cariera lui luase sfarsit.

Binecuvanta fie pauza mea de tigara ca asa mai ajung si eu sa ma proptesc in fata televizorului si sa ma pun la curent cu voga muzicala.

Pe locul doi in Topul odioaselor chestii pe care le-am ascultat in ultima vreme a fost DJ Project “Hotel” in care nu vom stii niciodata daca solista lalaie un cantec de dragoste sau face advertising pentru vreun hotel care inchiriaza cu ora.

Hilar mi s-a parut ca, fiind o data intr-un autobuz, tipului din fata mea i-a sunat telefonul. Melodia evident era “Undeva in Balcani” a crevetului nostru national Puya! Nu a fost rea prima oara cand am auzit-o, refrenul era chiar destul de catchy in mod bizar. Nu a fost rea nici cand am ascultat-o a doua oara, insa la un moment dat am pierdut sirul datilor cat a fost difuzata pe toate posturile de radio si televizor. Momentan Imnul Romaniei sta ascuns intr-un colt de studio si isi plange zielele ferm convins ca peste 3 ani la Olimpiade o sa auzim “Undeva in Balcani”.

Urmatorul pe lista de anormalitati este Millow cu melodia lui “Ayo Technology”. Nu o sa ma iau de voce, de tipa care danseaza sau ceva de genul asta, pentru ca mi se par chiar aspectele pozitive ale cantecului si clipului. Minus vreo doua chestii, m-ar fi lasat fara material…

Insa, domnule Millow, versul dumneavoastra in care specificati ca v-ati saturat de tehnologie si ca vreti ca fata sa vina sa se aseze peste dumneavoastra ma face sa ma gandesc ca ati prea googleit internetul pentru aparatura care ofera placeri dubioase…

Partea mea preferata este cand domnului Mileu ii curge miere in cap, incat daca probabil s-ar prelungi decorul in sus, majoritatea spectatorilor s-ar gandi ca poate a uitat cineva sa duca pescarusul la baie azi. Asta si mierea expectorata mai putin decat lasciv te duce cu gandul la doua chestii: a) domnul Millow are o boala stomacala b) domnul Milow este un stup sub acoperire.

Ultima dar pe departe cea din urma, va rog sa o felicitam pe Lady Caca- adica GAGA. Aparent numele i-a fost dat de catre managerul ei care avea senzatia ca vocea ei suna izbitor de leit cu cea a solistului de la Queen, Freddy Mercury. Tot ce pot sa zic e: saracul Freddy Mercury, lucrezi ani de zile sa ajungi in top, mori de SIDA si 15 ani mai tarziu iese la suprafata un pudel oxigenat in chiloti de metal si aia este mosternirea ta lasata lumii.

Ultimul ei hit “Nothing else I can say” m-a facut sa regret faptul ca imi facusem de mancare mai devreme si ca am ajuns sa apuc inceputul secolului 21. In ampla confuzie de ce sa rad mai intai, mi-a sarit in ochi funda de par din par, Femeia cu siguranta e prima care isi rezerva parul epilat pentru zile negre, cand isi confectioneaza accesorii din el; asta desigur cand nu ii fura frizura lui Ace Ventura…

Sunt zile in care simt ca pur si simplu inebunesc. Ca ma sufoc si nu este de la căldura de afara. Atunci am nevoie de 1 tigare si de inca una si inca una…si apoi somn, pentru ca odata ce adormi numai gandesti.

Okay.  So, who has this young white boy singing like a grown black man?  Sounds good, though.  Let me research who produced it to see who put the soul on him.  Ah, Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, so there you go.  It’s a hot track.  One of those I would put on repeat and listen to all day long.

So, let’s get the comparison to Eminem out of the way.  When he’s the only one at his level that has come before, it’s going to be there.  And, Roth’s delivery echoes his style though his content maybe somewhat different.  Not a bad song.  I’m not blow away and it’s not something I haven’t ever heard before.  The talent is obvious and the potential is there.  Wonder if he’s the white version of Kid ‘n Play and DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince?  You know the regular, humorous high school kid rapper as opposed to the hardcore street-smart MC.  Guess time will tell.

Seriously what is up with Jesse? I mean just a little bit ago he was no where to be seen, and then bam he is at the top of my charts. I get like 20-40 views of something about him. Maybe it is the two new songs out (How Do You Sleep, and Leavin), but I don’t truly know. It is an odd thing to ponder, but o well.

I like the song How Do You Sleep better than Leavin. I think it is sweet, and easy to dance to. I don’t think I am a huge fan of Leavin, but I think I just have heard it so much that it isn’t as good anymore.

Segunda-feira de manhã. Feriado do Dia do Trabalho, no Estado de Victoria, Austrália. Seria mais um dia comum, não fosse pela expectativa em que se encontravam todos os fãs menores de 18 anos da cantora country Taylor Swift. Cada um deles contava as horas, minutos e segundos para as cinco da tarde, horário em que ela faria seu primeiro show em solo melbourniano. Os que conseguiram ingressos, mal podiam esperar para vê-la. Os que chegaram tarde demais, após eles estarem esgotados, mal podiam esperar para se martirizar, pensando ’é agora; o show está começando e eu não estou lá!’

Graças a Deus, eu era uma das sortudas contando as horas para poder vê-la com meus próprios olhos. Acordei super cedo porque ia passear com a minha família e ir direto pro show depois, então precisava levantar e ir direto pra chapinha. Estava numa vibe ‘cabelo liso’, então madruguei. Duas horas depois, arrumadíssima, sapatilha nova e tudo mais, saí. Fomos num cinema 3D que não é qualquer um, é O cinema. O slogan é que eles tem a maior tela do mundo, e eu acredito, porque aquela vai do teto até o chão! Assistimos um desenhinho fofo ‘Fly Me To The Moon’, e eu quase conseguia tocar as coisas que ’saíam’ da tela. Muito legal mesmo.

O almoço em um dos milhões de restaurantes italianos que tem por aqui estava indo bem, até o meu pé começar a doer. É claro, sapatilha nova – o mesmo que pé comido. Com dor, eu já não estava mais com o melhor humor do mundo. E só pra completar, no meio do almoço eu descobri que tinha esquecido a minha câmera em casa – e isso porque quando eu estava entrando no carro, falei pra minha mãe que tinha certeza de que tinha esquecido algo, mesmo não sabendo o quê. Aí não teve jeito, o mau humor do cão me pegou. Fazia tempo que eu não tinha vontade de chorar de raiva, mas fiquei. Todo mundo almoçado, vamos tomar sorvete. Eu já não conseguia mais andar de tanta dor, então comprei band-aids e sentei pra dar um trato no meu pé, que sangrou por causa de um sapato pela primeira vez na vida. Long story short, o bico foi tão grande a ponto de eu perder toda a vontade de ir no show. Meu pai então resolveu me levar até em casa pra eu trocar de sapato e pegar a câmera, mas mesmo assim eu não me animei. A única coisa que devolveu meu bom humor foi entrar no carro e pôr o CD da Taylor. Pouco a pouco, o ‘emburramento’ foi embora e fiquei emplogada de novo.

No caminho pro show, meu pai liga pra minha mãe e ela diz: ‘ah, eu acabei de passar lá na frente do lugar onde vai ser o show e a fila já tá dando a volta na rua!’ Fiquei super preocupada de chegar tarde demais, mesmo com uma hora de antecedência, e acabar ficando no pior lugar possível. Chegando lá, às quatro da tarde, a fila realmente estava bem grande. Fui pro final dela e fiquei esperando lá sozinha, pacientemente. Foi bem insuportável ter que ficar lá olhando pro nada – eu nem pra levar um livro! -, vendo todo mundo nas panelas e eu sobrando. Mas é a vida de quem resolve gostar de country. Só a Ana iria comigo no show da Taylor!

Uma hora depois, o portão finalmente abriu. E aí o meu mau humor ameaçou voltar quando todo mundo que tinha chegado bem depois de mim passou na minha frente, cortando a fila. Eu fiquei lá pelas últimas vinte pessoas. Isto é, até a hora que a minha paciência acabou e eu fui lá pra frentona, onde o meu pai estava, sem nem querer saber. Um tempinho depois e eu finalmente estava lá dentro. A casa de shows, Billboard the venue, é bem legal por dentro, e pequena como eu tinha pensado – ou seja, um show up and close com a Taylor! Tudo de bom! Logo que entrei, vi que ainda não estava lotado e resolvi me infiltrar no meio do povão, pra ver se conseguia chegar lá pertinho do palco. Empurra dali, empurra daqui e eu virei um sanduíche humano, mas resolvi perseverar. De repente, numa janelinha bem acima de onde eu estava, sai a própria Taylor pra espiar os fãs enquanto o show não começava! Fazendo o já famoso coraçãozinho com a mão, sua marca registrada, ela fez o meu disparar. Obviamente, a única coisa que todo mundo sabia fazer era gritar. E considerando que 99% das pessoas do show eram meninas (os únicos caras que foram ou eram gays ou foram obrigados pela namorada =p), dá pra ter uma idéia do nível da gritaria. A Taylor, que é super criança também, ficou toda empolgadinha lá em cima, boba de alegria, e correu pra pegar a sua câmera, pra gravar a reação do povo. Ou seja, no próximo vlog dela, com certeza o show de Melbourne vai aparecer. Até tentei gravar esse momento, mas a emoção (ou a péssima qualidade da minha máquina, vocês escolhem) não cooperou e o vídeo ficou ruim, mas vocês podem ver o que outra pessoa gravou, clicando aqui.

Depois dessa emoção toda, eu não agüentava mais ficar sufocada no meio da multidão, então resolvi sair de lá. Dei uma volta pelo lugar inteiro, tentando descobrir de onde eu teria uma boa visão, até achar uma caixa (dessas de guardar os equipamentos) no canto direito, ao lado do palco. Sentada nela eu tinha uma conseguia ver o palco de perto, e acima dos outros, então fiquei por lá. Uma outra menina também veio ficar ali, e fiz amizade com ela. Finalmente, às seis, o cara que ia abrir o show – Morgan Evans -, subiu ao palco. O problema é que, toda vez que eu pensava que era a última música, ele ainda cantava mais. Não que ele fosse ruim; muito pelo contrário. É só que eu não agüentava mais de ansiedade… Às sete, a banda da Taylor começou a se preparar e ela finalmente entrou, de calça jeans e blusinha preta, cantando You Belong With Me (clique no nome das músicas pra ver os vídeos que eu fiz do show). Embora a roupa combinasse com aquela música – ‘She wears short-skirts, I wear T-shirts’ -, não era exatamente o jeito Taylor de ser, então ela não resistiu a uma de suas famosas troca de figurinos em pleno palco, lá pelo final da canção. A galera foi ao delírio, é claro!

Pela próxima hora e meia, ela cantou os maiores sucessos dos seus dois CDs – Tell Me Why, Love Story, Change, Hey Stephen, Teardrops On My Guitar, Should’ve Said No, White Horse, Forever And Always, Fearless, Our Song, Picture To Burn, Tim McGraw e um cover da música Leavin’, do Jesse McCartney. Os pontos altos da noite foram definitivamente a parte dos tambores em Should’ve Said No; o que ela falou na introdução de White Horse; todo mundo fazendo o ‘hum-hum’ de Hey Stephen junto com ela; o lugar inteiro com as mãos pra cima em Change; quando a galera pediu bis e ela voltou - fazendo uma dedicatória especial pra música Picture To Burn: ‘Essa canção é dedicada a todos os mentirosos, todos os traidores… E só por isso, nós vamos dedicá-la a todas a todas as garotas que roubam os nossos namorados. De todas as fotos que você tem, essa música é para aquelas fotos que não merecem ir para um porta-retratos!’ – ha ha ha -, e o cover. Todos os pontos altos podem ser conferidos nos meus vídeos no Youtube.

Ficou devendo Fifteen, Your Face, I’m Only Me When I’m With You, Stay Beautiful, Cold As You e Mary’s Song, na minha opinião. Mais ainda assim foi tudo de bom. Dancei, cantei muito, gritei mais ainda, e passei o show inteiro filmando com uma câmera numa mão e tirando fotos com a outra! E pra ter uma visão melhor, fiquei o tempo todo ajoelhada naquela caixa. Resultado: fiquei rouca, cansadérrima, e acordei no outro dia com uma mancha roxa em cada joelho – daquelas de quando você bate em algum lugar -, doendo pra caramba. Mas valeu a pena – ah! E como valeu, viu?! Faria tudo de novo. Mas dessa vez, chegaria bem cedo pra conseguir ver a Taylor chegando e tirar fotos com ela, porque depois do show não rolou nem um autógrafozinho sequer. Mas aí eu já tava querndo demais, né? =p

Resumindo, foi absolutamente perfeito. Ela é mesmo aquela fofa que a gente conhece, e é tão bonita em pessoa quanto ela parece ser! Espero que todo mundo que gosta dela, especialmente os fãs brasileiros, tenham uma oportunidade de ir a um de seus shows, porque é uma experiência inesquecível!

so sam posted that sweet jane thing awhile ago, right?  oh em gee.  loves them.   i feel like the dandy warhols had a baby with x & the black keys.  really, can that get any hotter?  track 4 on their ep titled ‘heartbreak’ is my current obsession.  love, love, love it.  it makes me think of the makeout scene in the virgin suicides when lux runs out to kiss trip, all whilst ‘crazy on you’ is in the background(!).   one of my very favorite movie scenes ever.  but anyway.  ‘heartbreak’ just has that super hot, i have to touch you right this very second or i’ll die feel to it.  delicious.  i promise, promise, promise(!) that the recorded studio version is way more bassy, guitary & percussiony.  this is sorta blah, but it’ll have to do for now:

These are some good things that happened in 2008. If I missed any tell me, I want to be as accurate as possible.

Venice in 10 hrs! This is the biggest and most adventurous trip i’ve ever been on yet, 6 countries just us without any parents, plus its winter time!! OMG EXCITES. This blog’s basically for my (overly-anxious sometimes) dear mom to get updates on our trip, so watch this space! I’ll try my best to update whenever there’s internet & my brother grants me sometime on his laptop!

Jesse McCartney just released his latest video for his second single, ‘It’s Over’. This song is definatly one of the best on his album, and while his cheeks are a little off in the video, overall he looks amazing and the video is very well put together. Is it better than the video for ‘Leavin’?

FirstCom Music congratulates James Bunton, artist and composer for Chronicles of Hip Hop, for his Billboard Top Ten Hit “Leavin’”.  The song “Leavin’,” performed by Jesse McCartney, became one of the biggest singles in Hollywood Records history, #1 for six weeks on Top 40 radio with over 10,000 spins, and charted as high as #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Bunton, also known as “The Movement,” is featured on FirstCom’s Chronicles of Hip Hop COHH-3 Hip Hop R’N’B Old Skool. 

About James Bunton and The Movement:

Bunton got his start in music working for Mark and Chris “Tricky” Stewart (“Umbrella”, “Touch My Body”).  It was through this experience he was able to watch and learn from some of best producers and songwriters in the game from Laney Stewart, Kevin “KD” Davis The – Dream, Kuk Harrell, Tab Nkhereanye, Robin Thicke, Sean Hall.

It wasn’t until 2000 that his career as a songwriter/producer really took off.  “I met my partner Corron Cole and we formed the The Movement in 2001,” says Bunton. “We just instantly clicked and started this music journey. We had our growing pains. It was not easy, but we stayed committed to each other and our vision and each day, week, and year we got better in our craft.”  They got their first break when they met and started doing work for Cudda Love, CEO of Fo Reel Ent. Through that journey they did Mase’s “Welcome Back” plus three other songs on the LP. They also worked with Lloyd (“Hey Young Girl”), Olivia featuring 50 Cent (“Cloud 9″), and Prima J (“Rockstar”), but the ultimate break came when they wrote and co-produced “Leavin” for Jesse McCartney.

They have projects on the horizon for Lionel Richie, Pleasure P (ex-lead singer of Pretty Ricky), Colby O’Donis, Velvet Angels, and many more.

I love Jesse McCartney. He is awesome. I think he is a great actor, and singer. I want to get a poster to put in my room. He has an awesome smile. My favorite song of his is Beautiful Soul.

Jesse McCartney is one of my favorite singers, and my favorite male singer. I hope his next CD comes out soon. Jesse McCartney is also a great actor. He was on Summerland though I never watched the so.

Franz Ferdinand’s “Lucid Dreams” and Pink’s “So What” are now available on iTunes!

I’ve already downloaded both. I expect “So What” to climb up the charts quite quickly. I hope to hear it on the radio soon, but instead I keep hearing the same old songs.
