For “As Long As I Love You“.

The anticipated collaboration between dance diva, Lee Hyo-ri, and Taiwan’s hottest male singer, Wilber Pan, has finally been unveiled. As a part of an endorsement deal for Hyundai i30, the two made a CF MV, along the lines of Samsung’s Anycall campaign, featuring a budding work relationship and possibly romance between the two stars.

The narrative flows quite nicely, and the two have good chemistry, but more along the lines of platonic compatibility than romantic fireworks. Lee Hyo-ri shows us what she is good at: dancing and flashing that smile; while Wilber Pan shows us his superstar persona that he also played in the Taiwanese drama, “Miss No Good“. I also felt they made a good use of the cars: still a Hyundai i30 model, but two different colors, which is also reflected in the character Lee Hyo-ri plays in the CF.

Too bad she doesn’t agree.

Singer Lee Hyo-ri recently appeared on the SBS program “One Night’s TV Entertainment” where it was revealed that the singer was voted number one best bikini body. The sexy queen, however, didn’t quite agree with the results, saying: “I think it is because everyone remembers the pretty photoshoots I did in bikinis when I was younger.” According to the diva, her figure isn’t quite what it used to be.

Hyori was also asked about the possibility of a Fin.K.L reunion anytime soon. The singer replied that with so many girl groups popping up, now wouldn’t be the best time for a comeback. She did, however, reveal that she’s a big fan of 2NE1 . Man, CL and the girls are getting a lot of love these days!

Cute Kim Eun Jung

However, someone asked recently to identify the pictures in some of the popular pics on my blog which I didn’t label. In particular, this post had a picture in it that didn’t have it labeled.  Well, I found out the two gals in the picture turned out to be two gals from the old  Korean pop girl band Jewelry which I think one of the two girls left (Suh In-young).  The other one in the photo which I just learned is named Kim Eun Jung I’m thinking is quite attractive.

When looking her up, I found this Youtube video of her singing.

All I have to say in one word is “wow.” Her singing and her physical beauty is a bit much for me. OK, I don’t like to write much about these things, but maybe I’m really tired right now or maybe I just haven’t been dating or seeing anyone in a while, but she’s pretty high up on my current list of Korean celebrities.

In succession of my previous post and to make amends for embedding a horrid video clip the previous time, I thought I’d stay on topic with the Korean popculture. This time with something (what I believe to be) better: Lee Hyolee (Hyori). Apparently, her stunning cooking performance with a spicy chili paste (soon-chang go-chu-jang) on the show “Family Outing” had impressed the company so much they’ve offered her a contract to be the model for their advertisements.

It’s not the contract that got my attention though, nor was it the chili paste. Obviously, it was Lee Hyolee herself. Little did I know that besides being good at flaunting what she’s got, she could cook too! I still stand by my verdict that she can’t sing though or at least.. make good music. But her looks! My oh my. We’re talking about a woman who’s turning 30 tomorrow and still looks jawdroppingly fine. You gotta love them Asian girls. I’d love to feast on that spicy dish.

Pour notre rencontre fin Août (le 29 à confirmer), je commence à préparer 2-3 petites choses, notamment les stocks de Soju Comme vous pouvez le voir, j’ai quelques caisses d’avance donc en prévoyant large, 1-2 bouteilles par personne plus 2-3 caisses pour LNA, ça devrait être bon De plus, nous aurons une invitée spéciale ce jour-là puisque la marraine de cette rencontre sera la belle Lee Hyolee Oui oui, elle sera bien présente à nos côtés, enfin indirectement mais sur chaque bouteille de soju, promis J’en vois qui salivent d’avance et vous avez raison, on risque de bien s’amuser Sur ce les amis, je vous confie le blog et file à Genève pour la journée, soyez sages

On continue dans le monde merveilleux du Soju avec la dernière pub de Lee Hyolee pour le Cheoum Cheoreom Comme toujours, les affiches sont très jolies et vous avez même droit en prime à la pub TV. Quand j’ai regardé cette dernière, j’ai tout de suite pensé à quelqu’un Je l’imagine tellement dansant comme ça avec une bouteille à la main (ou une bouteille dans chaque main vu son stock imposant), saurez vous reconnaître de qui je parle? Alors, kikicé?

this poster is for the Chum Churum, some new Korean alcohol beverage. dont know if its really new, but lemme just say its a newbie in the market. the poster isnt that tempting. but the package is a real hotty. mang Lee Hyo Ri, (aka Lee Hyolee, E Hyo-Lee) is flam’n. the shot on the package is just HOT with her cleavage showing the crease lol hahaha well, didnt tempt me enough to buy the drink though. FAIL. hahaha. but yea, i was standing right next to the drink display while i was waiting for my KyoChon Chicken. hmmm… i will probably go buy a pack and try them at home.

Regardless of the controversy that surrounded the first single off Hyori Lee’s sophomore album, Dark Angel still has enough stand out tracks to make it worth the import cost of music these days (just ask me how much shipping was on Koda Kumi’s new single TABOO). Get Ya’ the infamous rip off of Britney Spears’s Do Somethin’ has more spunk and glam than Do Somethin’ had on its best day. Replacing the clingy electronic sizzle for a more dizzying array of violin-tinged synthesizer and better lyrical content, Get Ya’ does a much better job of pulling me to the dance floor. The darkness of the track lends itself more to the zombie infestation of Hyori’s video instead of Britney’s kiss-off which fell flat at #100 on the Billboard charts. The beginning of the album is a memory game of dance beats and synth all of which sound wonderful against Hyori’s sexy, feminine voice. ‘Depth’ won me over for its darting, reverberating beat and booming bass line while ‘Straight Up’ is about as interesting as a Ciara ballad. Of course where Get Ya’ veered off from the Britney format, the title track ‘Dark Angel’ is more of a rip-off of the song which uses the same sampling elements with a bit of cow bell (and I’m serious). The album spins into a few Spanish flavored tracks and then into Winter Freshness, a beautiful French-tinged ballad which Hyori pulls of magnificently. The album then goes back into its Spanish flair and then into the next best track on the album, the second single ‘Shall We Dance?’, a spastically amazing mix of sampled instruments from cultures across the globe with a beat to rival any Western artist. ‘Slave’, a song in the same vein of ‘Get Ya’’ and ‘Dark Angel’ is good but the next song ‘E.M.M.M.’ is a punk-inspired rock number that adds that cute karaoke element, and I mean that in a good way, if that’s possible. The last two tracks are ballads with little impressionability to them. Overall, a good pop album, that if you like KPop and love American Rhythm & Pop will strangle you with sticky beats and you’ll love it, just as I do.

En fouillant dans mes archives, je suis tombé sur ces photos de Lee Hyolee Celles-ci datent de 3-4 ans je dirais (époque de son 1er album solo) et comme vous pouvez le constater, la miss a légèrement changé entre temps Je ne sais pas vous, mais j’aime bien voir des anciennes pubs car ça permet de se rendre compte de l’évolution d’un pays et de la culture qui s’y rapporte. Dans le cas présent, pas de grand changement car la période est courte (3-4 ans) mais sur une période un peu plus longue (10ans), c’est assez flagrant. Je vais d’ailleurs essayer de faire un comparatif un de ces jours avec des pubs Coréennes, wait and see Sur ce chers lecteurs, profitez bien de votre dimanche et RDV demain pour la Racing Girl de Septembre

La semaine dernière, j’ai commandé le 3ème album de la belle Lee Hyolee et j’ai reçu celui-ci vendredi. Pour rappel il s’agit de l’édition limitée (10000 exemplaires il me semble) qui contient le CD, un poster et un photobook de 30 pages (principal intérêt de cette édition). L’objet en lui même est très sympa, on dirait un 33tours (environ 30cm*30cm) qui se déplit en 3 parties avec au centre le photobook et à droite le CD. J’aime beaucoup, le photobook contient de très belles photos (certaines ont d’ailleurs déjà été postées sur le blog) et quand au CD, le peu que j’ai écouté est assez sympa Au final, je suis satisfait de cette édition et pour 14Euros, c’est plus que correct, non?

En ce moment, Lee Hyolee est partout en Corée (Pub, Emissions TV, Promotion de son album…) et la semaine dernière, pour son grand retour en tant que chanteuse, elle était invitée à l’émission M Countdown, une sorte de Top 50 local. Bien évidemment, il lui a fallu assurer afin de bien promouvoir son nouvel opus et c’est ce qu’elle a fait (parole de spécialiste) d’ailleurs voici une petite photo (prise ce soir là) que j’aime bien, notamment au niveau de la pose très professionnel, non? D’ailleurs, on ne peut que s’incliner devant un tel professionnalisme, n’est ce pas chers lecteurs?

Granted…I haven’t heard the whole album, but her first single is a just a bunch of highly paid producers, her typical copying of other previous fads and a lot of glitz.  Check out the relatively unenertaining recent release by Lee Hyori:

Sometimes I start to like the music after I hear it over and over…but for now, I’m not a fan despite her being one of the sexiest Korean women on the Korean pop front.  Rather, she’s got one of the best smiles which puts her there.

MKMF is actually a music awards festival which will be held every year in Korea.MKMF stands for MNet KM Music Festival.(MNet is a huge media company in Korea.)It is also one of the largest awards festival for the Korea music industry.This year, MKMF ‘08 was held on 15th of November in Seoul Olympic Stadium.

As usual, fans of all popular korean pop artistes gets excited for this huge event.Artistes also look forward to this night because awards will be given out to deserving artistes who worked hard this year and also whom are loved by the kpop mass.Out of all the MKMF awards, there’s three awards which are the most significant.The three awards are called the ‘Daesang’ awards. ‘Daesang’ actually meant 大赏 in Mandarin and ‘Top Honour’ in English.

Bio: Lee Hyolee was born May 10, 1979. She is a South Korean singer and actress. Ex “Fin.K.L” (Fine Killing Liberties kpop girl band) member. Shall post somth abour FINKL later (their last pv is the best but then they break up). Her 1st solo album was released at the end of 2003, entitled Stylish…E. In February 2006, Lee released her follow up album, Dark Angel, featured heavy choreography and sexually suggestive attire, which has become Lee’s trademark. Her third album, It’s HYORISH, was released on July 16, 2008 (best PV of it is Hey.Mr.Big! – link bellow).

Il y’a quelque temps, je vous parlais de Vivaldi Park, une chaîne de centres de loisir en Corée et bien voici un nouveau billet sur cette chaîne pour vous présenter Ocean World, un de leurs parcs d’attraction aquatique. Pourquoi je vous en parle, et bien tout simplement car c’est la ravissante Lee Hyolee qui s’occupe de la promotion du parc mais aussi parce que la pub est excellente, admirez moi ça!!! Sublime, n’est ce pas?

Yoon Gun of Brown Eyes & Lee Hyori collaborated together and produced a pop song so sweet that they dubbed it “Beauty.” The duo conspired together and released the single on June 2nd with only one track listing. Although the track has no legal PV connecting it, the song is chipper enough to stand solo.
