That day was our general assembly. It was held in research complex building. I’m with my block mates. As I stepped inside the big room I felt like I was riding a car because the smell inside is like of the car’s. Well, I’ve got motion sickness especially when I’m riding a car. I really do not like the smell of car. But of course the room isn’t moving and later I got used to it.

Then, the GA started. There are small pieces of colored paper that were distributed to us. I got the green one. The two hosts chose one student per section for their question and answer portion. Then after that, they told us to make our own cheers (each section). Then Julio (our acting president), made our cheer for LM3 (our section)
UNO! – first voice
LEG MA! – second voice
TRES! – third voice
UNO LEG MA TRES! – all
Then Julio danced at the stage while we started yelling “Julio Julio Julio”

After that, we played a game. The game is about sports and actions.
1LM1- boxing punch
1LM2- swim breast stroke
1LM3- Muay Thai Kick
2LM – Folk Dancing
3LM – Lap dancing
4LM- Dota right click
ALMAP- Jackstone bounce
Hosts- Harlem shake

The game is just simple. Your group just have to say the sport and act it twice then pass it to other group but not to the recently played group.
Example:
1LM1- boxing punch (while punching) , boxing punch (while punching) to swim breast stroke (while swimming) swim breast stroke (with action)
Then LM2 will start yelling, acting and passing it to the other group but not to LM1.

It was really fun and ILM3 won! My block mates were really good and alert. And it’s also because of our teamwork

We have also watched Videos about the history of legal management and it’s excellence for over 20 years. The Officers of legal management society also introduced themselves.

And then someone was calling me on the phone. I didn’t answer but I texted her and asked why. Rizzelle told me that Marjorie got angry to her. Haay. They are my previous class mates. Because of that I didn’t notice that the LM officers were already singing happy birthday and the cakes were already there. I didn’t know why and then I realized it’s for the birthday of Legal Management.

The second game is the “nose tape”. This is an individual game. The tape was put on each nose. One should get the tape of others. Yep it’s a nose to nose game. The ones who got the most tape will battle for the win. It was really enjoying!

When it’s already the ending part of the GA, the pres. of the LM society announced that there are no classes for the next day. And then, the students asked questions. One asked the purpose of the colored pieces of paper. Hey and it’s for snack!

Hackers have reportedly stolen more than 50,000 music files from Sony Music, including Michael Jackson’s entire back catalog and a large number of unreleased songs from the late King of Pop.

According to British newspaper The Sunday Times, the theft took place in April last year when hackers attacked Sony’s PlayStation Network and stole the personal data of 77 million registered users. The simultaneous copying of over 50,000 music files was discovered by Sony several weeks later, says the Sunday Times, but has only now come to light. An exact breakdown of artists and repertoire included among the 50,000 illegally downloaded songs is not known, but it is said to contain Jackson’s entire back catalog, including previously unheard duets with Black Eyed Peas Will.i.am and the late Queen singer Freddie Mercury.

In March 2010, Sony paid the Jackson estate a $200 million guaranteed contract (potentially rising to $250 million) in return for 10 projects over seven years. Included in the terms of the deal was unreleased material from “Off the Wall,” “Thriller” and “Bad” studio sessions, as well as the right to exploit Jackson’s catalog in video games, amusement park rides, television adverts and memorabilia. The deal took place nine months after Jackson died, aged 50, from a drugs overdose.

The Sunday Times quotes a well-placed source as saying, “Everything Sony purchased from the Michael Jackson estate was compromised.” According to the Sunday Times, the theft of Jackson’s catalog was discovered in the weeks following the initial attack on Sony’s PlayStation Network through routine monitoring of social networking sites, Jackson fan sites and hacking forums.

“It caused them to check their systems and they found the breach,” the paper’s label source is quoted as saying, adding, “Sony identified the weakness and plugged the gap.”

Sony Music did not respond to requests to comment when contacted by Billboard.biz, although The Sunday Times claims that major has confirmed the theft of Jackson’s catalog. It refused to comment on how many tracks were downloaded, or whether any other Sony artists were among those whose repertoire was stolen. In addition to Michael Jackson, Sony Music distributes the catalog for Jimi Hendrix, while Chris Brown, Leonard Cohen, Foo Fighters, Paul Simon and Avril Lavigne are among the big name artists signed to the music major.

The Sunday Times reports that Sony informed the Jackson estate about the theft as soon as it was discovered before contacting the cybercrime wing of the U.K. Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA), who took over the case. On Friday March 2, two men appeared at Leicester crown court accused of offences in connection with the alleged security breach. Both men denied charges under the Computer Misuse Act and the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act and were released on bail, reports U.K. newspaper The Guardian. They will stand trial next January.

There are lots of FB pages that are for incoming Thomasian freshmen. Parang last year lang, we are the ones being welcomed and we’re so curious about stuffs and we get all hyper whenever we meet our future blockmates. Haha! Good old times =)

I read a few of it, especially those who will take up Legal Management. So glad to find them and they were welcomed by our officers. I hope they’ll feel accommodated just like what we felt last year. Wah! It’s so fun to be an ate and kuya to these bunch of freshies! Sometimes I just wanna said to spit out all their questions and I’ll answer them all in a speed of light! LOL. but really, with the great experiences that I had, a day is not enough to describe my freshman experience.

And now, I’m having a plan of welcoming and kinda orienting my bunso *future 1LM2* about what to expect and to look out for. Maybe, together with the officers and friends, we can tell them how their future professors will be. And to be aware of the Artistang Artlets antics during the first day of class whose intention is to scare the freshmen! Seriously, these guys made me cry on the first day and never dare to ask why :/
Oh, and I also want to lend them my notes or be a tutor to them. Or better yet, teach them an effective study habit.

Should I also orient them about professors’ fake terror acting? LOL. maybe not? It’ll spoil the fun I’ll just let them know as time goes by. I will just warn them specially the girls not to swoon if Sir Coro will be their prof., uhm maybe it can’t be helped? but I will still tell them to lessen the damage and fangirling, haha!

Uhm what else? grabe, I’m really so excited for these guys. And the fact that it’s only April! 1 month to go =(

I hope they will enjoy their stay in UST as much as I’ve enjoyed it. =)
