Let's Go Fly A Kite: The Summer Palace

Long overdue, here are a couple of pictures of the semi-succesful kite flying at the Summer Palace. After a disgraceful and somewhat embarrassing failed attempt to fly and the top of the hill in the Palace grounds – the wind was really irregular, and we would get it up for just long enough to take a picture of it as the air went dead and it flopped – a goofy group member offered to run the kite around the courtyard for a photo opportunity. 44 more words
