Tomorrow is my birthday I will be 28. Hopefully I will get to go shopping for some more matuernity clothes since Aaron’s mum got me a gift card for Tyme Maternity . I can’t wait to use it lol. Other then that not sure what I will do for my birthday. This coming week will be a busy week for me. Wednesday I have to have my RH shot done and Friday I have a job interview which I am looking forward to. Not anticipating getting the job since I am now into my third trimester of my pregnancy but it is nice that they took the time to call me for an interview. Also this week we are getting a new railing for the basement so I can start doing laundry again . Liam is still where he’s supposed to be lol. He is starting to move a lot more frequently now and its not just little flutters which is pretty cool and weird at the same time.  Only problem is Aaron is never around when he makes his big movements which sucks because I know he’s waiting to really feel him move instead of the little flutters that he can’t tell if its the baby or my stomach. Well that’s about it for now. Oh Dec 7th is our next ultrasound appt. so hopefully we’ll be able to get some new pics of Liam.

Well, let me tell you a little tale about a pair of anxious parents-to-be. They had waited months to see their sweet little baby boy, to count his toes, to count his fingers, and to gaze, enraptured, at the the thought that a tiny, tiny, bit of Mommy and a tiny, tiny, tiny, bit of Daddy had danced together and finally joined. And they had waited to see all these things as the tiny piece of Mommy+Daddy (that shall for our purposes hereonin be called “Liam”) grew and grew and grew and grew. Then one evening , after all those months of waiting, something happened.

With a splash and a shriek and a very confused look on his face, Liam emerged from his Mommy’s tummy, all cute, and shiny, and wet, and angry at having fallen out of his nice cozy dark watery world into this place the rest of us call “The Real World.”

Liam wasn’t angry for long though, because the friendly OB standing by Mommy’s feet caught him with warm strong hands, wrapped him up in a soft warm blanket, helped him expel some particularly bothersome strands of mucus and gunk, and then handed Liam to his Mommy, who promptly nursed him for the first time ever. Judging from the look on his face as the first squirts of warm colostrum slid down his throat, all of a sudden being ejected quite quickly from the only watery world he’d ever known did not seem to be such a bad thing after all.

All that took place on Thanksgiving Day 2003, and so for Liam’s proud parents, Thanksgiving took on a whole new richness since this wonderful little boy had come to live with them on Thanksgiving Day.

In Liam’s first  years, we would celebrate Thanksgiving in NJ with GiGi, sometimes Uncle Bob, and Gran-Gran and Pop-Pop. It was  fun-a typical American Thanksgiving complete with lots of food, hugs, football, chatting and sometimes even a long walk in the evening after the kitchen had been cleaned up.That was a lot of fun, and I will always treasure those memories.

But the times, they do change, and things happen and so sometimes even long-standing traditions have to change along with everything else. Almost three years ago, Gran-Gran and Pop-Pop moved to Texas. Since then, we who stayed behind in the Garden State slowly started doing some things on our own to build a new set of holiday traditions, but were largely unsuccessful, mostly because it’s hard to have a traditional feast with only Mommy, Daddy, and one, and then two, little boys.

This year, however we are doing things differently. Our plan was to have a nice Thanksgiving Dinner here at home, and then a long walk on the canal with friends. Then, over the weekend, we would head for the Poconos, where there is a lodge-style hotel complete with an indoor water park. We would drive up in the morning, play in the water all afternoon, and perhaps for a bit after dinner. Then we would go to our room for some reading or a movie. The next day we would splash away the morning, have a good lunch, and return home in time for bedtime and Liam’s birthday celebration at school on Monday.

Well. well, so the first part didn’t quite go as planned, but we are rallying and continuing on with the  first year of of our new tradition. You see, I woke up Thanksgiving morning with a migraine headache. I haven’t had one in a couple of years. thankfully, but I was completely unprepared for this one to strike. By noon yesterday, Kevin and the boys were driving me to the ER. The helpful people there were able to get me some relief quite quickly, which was welcome, but because of all the H1N1 caution, the boys were not allowed to stay in the ER with me. So Kevin had to take them home. It was not the day I had envisioned where I would be cooking goodies for my family and playing with them. On the other hand, though, I did get some much-needed rest as I spent 4 hours waiting for the radiologist in Australia (certain services are outsourced on holidays, apparently) to read my perfectly normal CT scan. Kevin and the boys bounced back and forth between home and the hospital, and at one point one of the nurses came back to tell me that there were two cute boys sitting on the floor out front amusing the receptionist with knock-knock jokes and eating M&M’s. So apparently the boys had a decent time themselves. Poor Kevin, who had to manage these active little ones, was a bit the worse for wear as the hospital didn’t manage to release me for 6 hours.

However, I am proud to tell you that I was fine yesterday, fully functional, and was able to put together smaller version of Thanksgiving dinner. We did indeed take our walk on the canal and spied many treasures such as rocks, colored leaves, sea gulls, and a heron or two..We were accompanied by Liam’s friend K and her parents. K’s Mom and Dad and I first met singing in a local choir. K was born about a year after Liam, and has grown up with him. They are fast friends, and it was to our great surprise and honor that K was placed in Liam’s Kindergarten class this past September She is now one of Liam’s favorite Kindergarten classmates. We all went out to lunch, and then returned home.

While eating our delayed Thanksgiving dinner last evening, we announced our travel plans to the boys, who were very much in favor of the trip, as you might imagine. They had a bit of trouble getting to sleep last time as they are quite excited about our trip coming up in under two hours now.

I’m on my way to pack now, but I think that our trip today will be nothing less than wonderful. So with that, I bid you all good day and a happy weekend. The lodge does have wi-fi so if I have time I may post a few pictures and tell some funny stories.

Yes, we had Liam’s sixth birthday party here this weekend. It was a lot of fun with friends and family spread all across the house for most of the afternoon. As soon as I’ve managed to post more pictures I’ll show you some from the party, but in the meantime, here’s a bit of Thanksgiving conversation from the boys.

Liam: ” Kieran, tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day!”

Kieran: “YAY! MOMMY, LIAM SAY SANTA CLAUS COMING!!!!

Liam: “Oh, brother! Kieran, Thanksgiving day is for giving thanks for the good things we have around us.”

Kieran: “Oh, I See. I thankee Casey……….”

Después de la controvertida salida del compositor y cantante de la banda inglesa Noel Gallagher, su hermano Liam anuncio la disolución del grupo, pero solo para cambiar el nombre de la banda.

Según el frontman de Oasis, ésta continuará adelante tras el anuncio de su disolución, sólo que con otro nombre y sin la presencia de su máxima figura, su hermano Noel Gallagher, quien —a su juicio— se habría ido de la agrupación sólo como pretexto para lanzar un disco en solitario.

Así lo manifiesta el cantante en una entrevista con la edición italiana de la revista “Vanity Fair”, cuyo contenido ha sido adelantado hace algunas semanas por la publicación, en la que además menciona: “Mi teoría es que ha querido dramatizar la situación. Ha sido sólo un pretexto. Estaba cansado y tenía ganas de hacer un disco como solista”.

Asimismo, el vocalista asegura que esta vez la ruptura es “definitiva”, a diferencia de los anteriores litigios protagonizados por ambos hermanos, porque “no existe una discusión verdadera o un problema por resolver”.

“Seguiremos adelante sin él (Noel). El grupo cambiará de nombre porque no sería la misma cosa. Pero el resto de la banda está conmigo”, agrega.

Liam precisa que la discusión que llevó a la separación de grupo fue “banal” y explica que mientras estaban en el camerino antes de una actuación tuvieron un enfrentamiento por cómo debían hacer una cosa, tras lo cual Noel rompió la guitarra que la esposa de Liam le había regalado. “Si existió una falta de apoyo por parte de nuestro representante y de los otros miembros del grupo, entonces, ¿por qué antes de irse les invitó a todos a una fiesta en su casa? Si verdaderamente crees que estás rodeado de enemigos por qué tendrías que invitarles a tu casa”, declara Liam.

Every day that goes by I look more forward to the birth of my son. I swear it crosses my mind multiple times a day. Lot’s of thoughts on how I’m going to raise him, advice I can give him, teach him the things I know how to do, give him an appreciation of the 1980’s. I am really anxious to see him.

In other news, this is my easy week. A whole week of soldering. Today I learned how to solder two wires together. woo… At least tomorrow is something interesting like circuit board soldering.

Wednesday we get new windows. Nothing like having holes put into your home during the end of November. Military housing is full of brilliant concepts.

Hmmm.. I think I live a boring life, I haven’t done much recently. I rock climbed last Friday, spent a weekend vegging and playing World of Warcraft. We so need to get out of the house more often.

Aidan and Liam are having a tea party with their ghost friend, Fireball. Chloe was not invited.

• Monday’s One Tree Hill (2.6 million viewers) dropped ever so slightly and Gossip Girl (2.2 million viewers) dropped a bit more in the ratings compared to last week.
• Last night’s 90210 ( 2.1 million viewers) stayed the same in the ratings compared to last week.
• For some reason, this week (both Monday and Tuesday) The CW only had 94 percent coverage instead of 95 percent. But I’m not sure how much difference that actually makes in the ratings. I’ve been told it was 94 prior to this season so it’s possible that will be the norm again.

During an Italian radio interview Liam Gallagher announced that he was staying together with Oasis, minus boisterous brother Noel. This coming just a few months after Noel threw in the towel following a backstage quarrel prior to a performance in France. Don’t hear this wrong, Oasis is still finished. Liam’s project will use a different name. Liam says fans can expect some touring sometime in the next couple of months.

Just thought I would update again since I am all alone tonight and bored lol. Aaron has duties overnight tonight so it’s just me here. Gonna watch some horror movies looking forward to that . Got some more baby clothes today that a friend lent me. Pretty soon Liam will have more clothes then I do .  So this week I have an appt. with my OBGYN I love going there cause I get to hear Liam’s heart beat which is always a great joy.  Can’t wait till he’s actually here. Just over a month till we’re coming home looking forward to that so we can see family and friends. Anyways off to pamper myself a bit .

Mommy and Daddy say it’s hard to believe, but I’m already one month old! This month has been an exciting one … I love spending time with my Mommy, Daddy and cute doggie, and it’s getting even better now that I can see them all better!

On my one month birthday, I saw Dr. Jason again, and even though I got a shot, it was a pretty  fun visit. Dr. Jason is really nice! He says I weigh 9 lbs. 12 oz. now, and I’m measuring 22 1/4 inches. Apparently, I’m right on track!

What else can I tell you? I’ve started to smile, and I love smiling back at Mommy when she’s talking to me, and at Daddy when he “dances” for me. I can’t wait until I can laugh, too, so I can really let him know how silly I think he is! I haven’t rolled over yet, but I have figured out how to move myself 180 degrees off the changing pad when Mom goes away to throw out my diapers … and she still can’t figure out how I’m doing it.

I love taking naps in Mommy and Daddy’s arms, and I love watching football with them, too. I met lots of Mommy and Daddy’s work friends the other day, and that was fun, too.

In fact, I went to hang out with one of them last night, so Mommy and Daddy could have something called a “date night.” I don’t know what that is … I thought it was just called dinner. But, I had a great time with my baby sitter and her kids. I was so tired by the end of the night that I decided to give Mommy and Daddy a break, and I slept from 11:00 pm until 7:15 am! I ate A LOT last night … so I was able to sleep straight through the night! I haven’t decided if I want to do that every night, though … sometimes, I like hanging out with my parents during the night!

Of  course, Mommy and Daddy took lots of pictures to celebrate my one month birthday (and during the last couple of weeks) … and Mommy wanted to be sure I shared some of them here! She says she’s sorry for not posting them sooner … I keep her very busy during the week!

Em entrevista à rádio DeeJay hoje de manhã, na Itália, Liam falou superficialmente da saída de Noel do Oasis. “O lance da briga foi uma coisa idiota (…) Noel usou aquilo para fazer seu álbum solo”, disse o vocalista.
Liam também afirmou que irá se juntar aos membros restantes do Oasis e montar uma nova banda, com outro nome. Gem e Andy irão tocar guitarra, Chris será o baterista e um novo baixista será recrutado.
Seus planos são de entrar em estúdio em janeiro e lançar um novo álbum já em julho de 2010. “Vou voltar com os shows em dois meses. Vou fazer uma tour. Tenho saudade de cantar, saudade das pessoas”, informou Liam, que confirmou os planos da banda. “Estamos todos fazendo coisas no momento. Nada de Oasis, Oasis já era. Todos estão, exceto o Noel”.
Falando sobre o fim do Oasis, Liam foi enfático. “Pra ser honesto, creio que Our Kid (Noel) queria dar o fora. Mas isso você vai precisar perguntar pra ele, quando ele vir aqui fazer suas coisas solo. Tivemos uma briga, como muitas outras, envolvendo pessoas importantes. Basicamente, creio que ele quis sair, fazer algo diferente, mas ele não teve coragem suficiente pra dizer isso claramente para a banda e para os fãs”, disparou.
Ainda sobre a briga em Paris, Liam explicou as diferentes versões que surgiram na imprensa, sobre “guitarras sendo quebradas no camarim”. “Eu não quebrei uma ‘guitarra do Noel’. Até gostaria. Foi ele quem simplesmente arruinou meu violão, que era um presente dado pela minha esposa. Daí pensei que, como troco, eu deveria quebrar uma guitarra dele”, contou Liam, que tirou sarro da própria desgraça fraterna. “O violão que ele quebrou era meu, pessoal. A guitarra dele que eu quebrei era do Oasis, paguei parte dela. Mas lógico que isso é ridículo. Nos comportamos como um par de comadres”.

Today was our last school cert exam! haha computer skills. It was alright pretty easy, we’ll see when we get the results

I bought Face of Australia spray tan today and Maybelline NY  Instant Age Rewind Double Face Perfector concealer.

I used the self tanner today, like just then. It comes out a dark brown colour and I think i appied it badly haha. Next time I’ll remember to spray from further away and mor evenly xD Camp is on Monday!! I hope noone notices my blotchy tan xD if it is, I duno if its developed yet, probably not. But we’ll see

And today we had basketball at 6.15. We played The Queens of Leon, which is the All Stars except with a different name. We won 8-19 :D Bella didn’t come cos she left her uniform at school xD was it a good thing that she didn’t come? I scored 4 points I think the basketball stand at home is really helping with my shooting After our game we stayed and watched the game with Max from year 9, he’s cute haha. The other year 9’s were playing on another court, and they suck xD Yun was there to watch her brother. There was this girl there sitting next to Max on our bench when we were playing, probably the sister of one of the guys on Max’s team. She’s so pro at shooting! during the half time breaks and breaks between games she was shooting and she swished like all of them!!! seriously! What a beast. Lucky she doesn’t go to our school

Yesterday me Anna Ling and Nivvi went shopping at towers to get Ling’s formal dress. we found a awesome off-white one at forever new, strapless with bead things at the front and pockets xD I made her try on this greeen dress at blockout and it was like Tinkerbell!!! hehe.

Anna bought material from Lindcraft. Chiffon and this other shiny white material. Reminder: Anna owes me $25 and Jeanette owes me $50.

So I am feeling much better. So glad that I am no longer in a bad mood. I felt so bad for Aaron on Tuesday I couldn’t stop crying and he really couldn’t do anything to cheer me up. God love him for what he has to put up with right now lol . So today it is off to the doctor’s for me should be interesting, then after the doctors it’s off to the bank for a new bank card lets hope they like my Hamilton drivers license since that is the only photo ID I have right now . Other then that not much else is new. The baby is still very active at night and first thing in the morning which makes sleeping through the night tough. Oh and today I will be posting an updated belly pic on facebook for everyone to see.
