This spread, like most spreads that I create, came to me via a flash of inspiration. In this case, I was inspired by a wonderful blog posted by Oracle Speak, that struck a chord deep within my heart. I call this ‘The Healing Cross’ spread, primarily because like the traditional ‘Celtic Cross’ spread, this spread gets to the root of the issue with which we need healing, as well as, shows us the path we need to take in order to heal. The beauty about this spread is that unlike most healing spreads that are either based on a spiritual healing philosophy (the chakras, reiki, yoga, etc), this is spread is ‘universal’, and can be applied by anyone and everyone no matter what their philosophy regarding health is (or even reading style), and thus allowing us the liberty to interpret the positions in a way we feel best.

Now as some of you may already know, i’ve dealt with body-image  and weight issues throughout my entire life. Being born as ‘the fat kid’, I spent a good chunk of my life facing physical, mental, psychological abuse from the world around me, and most of all, from myself. As of August 2006, I weighed 333.96lbs, and well, after 3 years of working on myself, I now weigh 191 lbs. However, I still haven’t reached my goal weight, cause of those pesky last 20 odd lbs (the ones that never seem to go away no matter how much you work on it), and that has lead to numerous frustrations, and even breakdowns of sorts, causing me to binge and totally get demotivated from my path of healing. Plus with my own tendencies towards Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), I tend to become exceedingly critical and depressed with myself regarding my weight. So much so, that my inability to reach my ideal weight and acheive and ideal ‘fit body’ has become quite a crippling influence within my life. And thus, I decided to read on that.

CARD ONE: The Root of my Issue – The Emperor

Gosh, talk about ‘Daddy Issues’! Could my issues with my weight be anymore Freudian? (LOL… just kidding). Well, in a way, I’ve always sought approval all my life; not only from my dad, but from other authority figures in the past. And since I’ve never really received the approval that I sought so desperately as a child, I’d end up doing things to self-sabotage my own progress in various areas of my life. In the case with my weight and other body issues – eat and eat all the more as a means of passive-aggressive rebellion.

Along with all that, now that I look at this card, it all has to do me not being able to take an ‘active’ control of my life. At the end of the day, this is MY body… this is MY life… if I’m not able to take an active responsibility for it, then who will? And well, come to think of it, in the past, I have behaved pretty irresponsibly with my body (and other aspects of my life) and on some occasions, I still do. I guess throughout the years I kept blaming everything else – from ‘daddy’, to childhood traumas and dramas, and a whole lot of other things – that I never really stopped to ask, ‘What am I doing about it?’

Plus, since the Emperor is also about ‘stability and structure’, I guess a whole part of my life is so structured on my issues with my weight and body, that perhaps on a subconscious level, I’m holding onto the extra weight (those last 20lbs that just refuse to go) because a part of me is scared on what will I base and structure my life about once I reach my ideal weight? Will there be no major life-goal after that? What will I strive for? What will I yearn to be?

Come to think of it… Isn’t that just silly of me?

I mean, imagine being so obsessed about trying to lose weight and get a fabulous physique, that once it happens, you’re like, ‘Now what do I do?’

Damn my Libra rising for making me so vain (and there I go, blaming away again – must stop the vicious cycle of blame and avoiding responsibility).

Speaking of Libra rising – that would make Aries (The Emperor) my descending sign; i.e. the sign that cusps my 7^th Astrological house of relationships and partnerships. And looking back at the past, maybe my issues with my weight were a primal reason for majority of my relationship issues. A shaman friend once explained that relationships work only because both partners are willing to ‘give’ to each other and ‘share’ their lives together. And in my case, everything was so focused on me and my own issues, that there was no room for sharing (Aries is the sign of me-me-me), and hence I’ve come across men who were emotionally unavailable and had too many issues of their own as well, which brings us back to all the seeking daddy’s approval issues again.

In fact, now that I think about it, I’ve always sought after men who were ‘powerful’ and ‘strong’ and would just ‘take care of everything’ for me, while treating me like a princess. And isn’t that just me being unwilling to ‘take responsibility’ of my life?

I guess it’s high time that I start taking responsibility for not just my weight, but for my overall happiness and well being within my life. After all, if I’m not able to ‘take care’ of myself, who will?

CARD TWO: Why am I faced with such an issue within my life? – 6 of Wands

Well, the first thing that came to my mind was ‘to discover I have the strength to overcome it, as well as, anything else’. Now that I ponder about it further, my weight and body image issues have in a way paralyzed me from doing a whole lot of things within my life. I guess in a way, this card is also reminding me that more than anything, I need to believe that I’m not just capable of healing my weight and body issues, but I’m also have the ability to achieve everything I desire. Perhaps the weight and body is just the channel through which the Universe is helping me develop my strengths and abilities. And once I’ve managed to heal them, I’ll be all the more motivated and ‘pumped’ to take on any challenge life throws my way, and ‘ride through life’ with my head held high. So in a way, my ‘battle’ is merely the ‘training ground’ for me to discover and ‘develop’ my ‘light’, and once I’ve done that, I can shine my ‘light’ with joy and pride, and not be plagued by things like guilt, fear, or just plain old ‘irresponsibility’. And if we think about it, health (physical, mental, psychosomatic) should always be a prime concern, if we’re not able to take care of ourselves, how can we possibly take care of anything else? So once I’m able to take care of something as ‘basic’ as my body, I’ll feel all the more liberated and empowered to live life to the fullest.

CARD THREE: What can I do to heal it? – 3 of Coins

Going just by the ‘image’ of the card, take it nice and slow and ‘focus’! This is so fitting for me, because I’ve been through gawd knows how many fad diets n stuff. Not to mention, I go through these bouts where I work out like a dog, pushing myself further and further, and then just crash and burn and not even wanna wake up in the morning. Moderation has always been an alien concept whenever it’s come to my own personal goals. Plus this being a 3 (Empress) of Coins (Earth/Nurturing element), I gotta start learning to nurture and nourish my body with good ol fashioned TLC. So often I’m so quick to criticize and whine about it, that I’ve never really thanked or acknowledged the fact that despite all the things I put my body through, it’s always been good to me. If I truly wish to heal well, and heal wholly, I guess the most important thing for me to do is to be patient with myself along the process. I clearly have all the ‘tools’ to heal, now all I gotta do is apply them with love and patience! Easier said than done? Perhaps so, but hey, I need to start somewhere right?

CARD FOUR: What is helping me heal it? – The Magician

Wow! Well, when I have The Magician on my side, how can I not heal? After all, isn’t Magician ruled by Mercury, the planet of health and healing among other things? I guess this is again a reminder, that I already have all the skills and abilities to overcome my issues with my weight and other things, I just need to channel them in a productive and empowering manner. Along with that, most importantly, TALK about it. Communicating can truly be a powerful force in the healing process, for once we’re able to ‘voice’ our issues, only then can we identify them clearly, as well as, help our loved ones understand what we’re dealing with, and thus win their love and support. Bottling things up only tends to make things worse, but the more we are able to let things out, and express ourselves freely, the more we’re releasing so much pent up stress and angst that just eats us away to our core. I guess maybe this is why I’m being very candid in my interpretation of this spread. Hopefully my expressing such a deep issue that’s affected me throughout my life, I could gain some source of love and support from all of you who are reading, as well as, maybe even help others who are going through similar issues such as I find comfort that they are not alone, and that by expressing themselves, they’ll find the love and support they need to help them with their healing process.

CARD FIVE: What is the obstacle in my healing journey? – King of Wands

Fucking Courts! (lol). Oy, trust a court card to appear here!

Well, now that I think of it, this card in a way could indicate my ‘daddy issues’, as highlighted by The Emperor (plus my dad is a fire sign – go figure) coming in up as obstacles. And boy, do they ever! Especially the bit with self-sabotaging my own progress out of the fear of not being able to handle life without obsessing about my weight and body. And since courts are also aspects of our own psyche, this card indicates that my falling back on the old destructive patterns would be quite a major hindrance in my healing journey. Furthermore, the King could also represent me having extremely high expectations of wanting to achieve the most ideal weight and the perfect 10 body. I so gotta be realistic, and remember that at the end of the day, my own personal health and well being is what matters, not some superficial ideal I try my best to live up to, only to end up losing more than what I bargained for (and not the weight). Also, my need to ‘rush’ through things and see ‘fast results’ would just end up being an obstacle rather than a boon to my healing journey.

CARD SIX: Advice – 6 of Coins

The minute I saw this card, for some reason, I was reminded of the song ‘No one is alone’ from the musical Into the Woods. I now realize that there are people who are willing to help me along the way, to give me the love and support I need, and that I don’t need to be alone in all of this. After all, I’m not the only person in the world with weight and body image issues. Only through sharing, can I not only relieve myself off all the burdens that are more or less self-imposed upon me, but also open myself to receiving a helping hand. And sometimes we can receive the help we need from the most surprising sources.

Along with that, I feel this card is also telling me to be more ‘balanced’ with myself. Taking extreme actions and drastic measures wouldn’t really help me, as they would only throw me off. Starving myself only to binge later on, or working out excessively only to crash and burn later; they just deter me away from my path, making it all the more hard for me to heal. As mentioned earlier, the key is to nurture and nourish myself with love, and lovingly encourage myself rather than be self-critical and exceedingly harsh. Since when does self-criticism ever get anything accomplished?

Furthermore, I just noticed that there is no ‘water’ in this entire spread. Come to think of it, I am mainly an emotional eater, and majority of my binges and other self-destructive habits arise due to various emotional triggers. And even though I’ve come across so many ‘Moon in Taurus’ people who are anything but ‘emotionally balanced’, I need to start becoming all the more ‘practical’ and not let my emotions get the better of me. Exercise plenty of self-discipline within my life, but not in a harsh manner. Self-discipline can be inculcated through loving and nurturing means. Just need to figure out how to do so.

And finally, and most importantly, I need to believe that I deserve this! I need to believe that I am worthy of having a healthy body, as well as, I am worthy of leading a healthy life. Only when I do believe this, can I allow myself to manifest it.

CARD SEVEN: Result of my Healing Journey – Ace of Coins

Wow! I guess there is hope for me after all. After all, the Ace is the spirit of the element of ‘earth’, which among other things, rules the body. If I’m being extremely optimistic, I would say this card would mean that I will achieve that perfect body I’ve only dreamed about. However, being a realistic Capricorn, I feel this card is saying that once I’ve managed to get over myself and taken full responsibility for my life (especially my weight and body issues), I will achieve a spiritual connection with my body like I never had before. I’d finally enjoy the body I was born with, and finally feel ‘connected’ with it, and most importantly, love it wholly. In a way, this would also indicate me being able to begin a new chapter in my life, where not only am I able to take active responsibility for every area of my life, but where I feel comfortable, nourished, and secure within myself, and not feel the need to seek validation or approval from anyone else. I’d finally be free to be me, and live my life to its fullest potential.

Extra Notes:-

If we check out the elemental balance of this spread, there is an excess of Fire and Earth elements along with a deficiency of Air and a complete absence of Water. The excess of Earth represent things like getting stuck in a rut, lack of stimulation, heaviness, sluggishness, and to some extent, even melancholy. The excess of Fire represent things like burnout,and stress due to excessive pressure. In a way, it’s a combination of the two that cause me to get demotivated along my healing journey. Like mentioned before, I go through bouts where I not only eat scarcely, but also work out excessively. And due to all the self-imposed pressure to be thin and have an ‘ideal body’, I ‘burn out’ and then get all sluggish and lazy, and binge feeling all the more heavy and ‘eh’ about myself and everything else. I try snapping out of it, but it’s like a constant cycle, which now I realize I need to get out of.

The deficiency of Air represents listlessness, fatigue, dullness, stagnation, blocked communication, as well as, an inability to express oneself. As mentioned in the reading, I need to learn how to communicate my issues, and just NOW, I realize that part of the reason I find it hard to ‘talk’ about it, is because I feel a deep sense of shame and guilt regarding my struggle. Why? Well, part of it could be that I was raised to believe it’s not the done thing to ‘air dirty laundry’, as well as, displaying vulnerability is a sign of weakness (all part of my ‘daddy issues as represented by The Emperor). I realize now that such thought patterns and belief systems are truly limiting me, as well as, blocking me all the more further from my own ability to heal. Along with all this, the absence of Water represents me being ever so harsh and critical with myself about every little mistake I make. I so need to relax and be easy with myself and learn to flow with life.

Numerically, the number 6 has appeared twice within the reading (6 of Wands and 6 of Coins). 6 being a number of Harmony and Balance, while Wands and Coins, represent Fire and Earth, the excessive elements within the reading. This clearly indicates a need for creating an ‘inner balance’ in all things ‘excess’ within my life. Also, in Ayurvedic Astrology, Venus (which is number 6 according to Chaldean numerology, and the ruler of my own astrological chart) represents the constitution of Kapha (Water +Air) – the elements that are absent within the spread. So in a way, the presence of the two 6’s represents a need for me to balance and harmonize all four elements within me – Fire, Earth, Air, and Water.

End Note:

Not that I doubt the messages of the cards, nor do I have any qualms with the way I’ve interpreted them. But sometimes, the heart just wants a ‘confirmation’ of sorts from the Universe that we’ve ‘got’ the message it’s trying to give us through the cards.  Especially when an issue is so important and close to us, we just need that sense of affirmation! So in this case, I divine the Quint card, i.e., the Major Arcana card derived by adding all the numeric values of the cards. Since there is a ‘Court Card’ within the reading, I do not include a numerical value for it. Primarily because there are conflicting theories regarding the numeric value of a Court Card (one would make Kings 14, while the other would assign 2), and that would just end up confusing me all the more. So to make life simpler, I choose to follow the belief that courts are ‘beyond’ numeric values, and thus do not include them while calculating my Quit Card. (Yes, I promise in the future, I will post a complete post all about Quint Cards).

So in case of this reading, we have – The Emperor (4) + 6 of Wands (6) + 3 of Coins (3) + The Magician (1) + 6 of Coins (6) + Ace of Coins (1) = 4 + 6 +3 + 1 + 6 + 1 = 21 = The World. And well… A picture can speak a thousand words

I am a Libra and don’t spend too much time worried about how the stars are aligned or which sign my moon is in, but it is fun to read my horoscope every once in a while.

Today’s reminded me that I am on the right path and that hard work will allow me to realize my dreams….

Spero  che in molti  conoscano la storia del cigno di Leda i protagonisti sono Zeus Aphrodite e la madre dei Gemelli  Dioscuri Castore e Polluce Leda.

Nel mito di Leda moglie del re di Sparta Tindaro si fa confluire la nascita della genia umana, dove Zeus invaghitosi di Leda si fa aiutare da Aphrodite per riuscire a possederla con un travestimento rassicurante per Leda ,il cigno animale sacro ad Aphrodite.

Leda vedendo il cigno non avrebbe  avuto diffidenza e quindi si sarebbe fatta  avvicinare senza opporre resistenza.

Questo raggiro, ad opera di Zeus, diede vita ad una visione cosmogenea alquanto inusuale, la leggenda fa da sfondo alla possibile nascita  della Terra che nelle sembianze di Leda e del cigno afrodisiaco danno vita ai primi esseri umania sembianze divine.

Nel mio precedente articolo su Aphrodite avevo sottilineato come la stessa simbolo della creazione dell’essere umano fosse l’Adamo divino e come la stessa Aphrodite potesse porre le basi per la creazione dell’umanità  e quindi dell’Adamo terrestre,con il coinvolgimento sensoriale e sessuale simboli tipicamente umani.

Essendo una Dea Aphrodite dove essere supportata dalla materialità terrestre proprio da un ventre generatore geo complice, infondendo nella gravidanza di Leda il germe sia immortale che quello mortale, come parti della stessa unità.

Ecco quindi che Zeus si fa aiutare dalla mitica bellezza e dalla Dea primigena per poter dar vita  al progetto venusiano, la creazione dell’uomo oltre Urano e la sua Deo machina.

Zeus seduce Leda, la moglie del Re di Sparta ,e la feconda come cigno, ma nella stessa notte Leda ,dopo aver  fatto all’amore con Zeus,fa l’amore anche con Tindaro, il marito, e da li’ che si genera poi una commistione e confusione sulle nascite future di 4 gemelli, due immortali Elena e Polluce, concepiti con Zeus, e gli altri due mortali, Castore e Clitemestra concepiti con Tindaro.

Elena è la famosa Elena di Troia , ma questa è un’altra storia, la nascita plurima e particolare di due femmine e di due maschi da origine ad una dualità impressa nell’animo umano, ossia la parte divina e la parte terrestre apparentemente uguali, apparentemente simili essendo nati da un’unica madre, apparentemente generati nel matrimonio come forma legale di istituzionalità

Inoltre i quattro Gemelli crescono insieme, e Castore e Polluce non hanno alcuna rivalità tra loro anzi divengono inseparabili e uniti anche nell’amore reciproco e  nella loro affinità.

Quindi originariamente la parte divina e la parte animale dell’uomo non aveva conflitti esistenziali anzi si coniugava e si univa alla costruzione dell’unità cosmica proiettandola nell’immagine estetica identica.

La  scissione della spiritualità non trova assonanza nel mito di Leda quantomeno nella verifica concreta   della fratellanza universale espressa dai due Gemelli Dioscuri , dando  vita  alla compiutezza  che ciò che è  diviso sostanzialmente è unito  almeno nelle sembianze  dell’immagine,è quello che nella Bibbia viene enunciato  come…. e creò l’uomo a sua immagine e somiglianza.

Immagine e somiglianza sia femminile che maschile, plasmata e fatta  corpo dalla fecondazione di due uova , uova  cosmiche, uova venusiane, uova inviate dallo spazio, uova piovute dal cielo, uova germinate  dal simbolo di un uccello, che rappresenta qualcosa che viene portato dall’alto e che proviene dall’etere,dallo spazio,dal cielo.

Ali, uova, donne e gemellaggio fanno capire come nel mito di Leda abbiano avuto senso le supposizioni dei greci che una volta che il  pianeta Venere nel simbolo di Aphrodite,  formatasi dalla caduta in mare di un oggetto di fuoco, come il fallo  di Urano sanguinante e quindi di colore rosso, abbia fermentato nel mare per impatto di caduta, provocato da un arnese a forma di falce, che fa presupporre che mentre nasceva Venus vi fosse la Luna con la sua falce in cielo, quindi la Luna come portatrice di nascita e di annuncio celeste, l’astro notturno.

Quella mezza Luna fu poi impressa e donata alla prima genia terrestre nel simbolismo dei Gemelli costellazione governata da Hermes, che guarda caso ha come simbolo il cerchio con la croce di Venere sormontato da una mezza Luna.

Mercurio,Ermes, figlio di Zeus e di Maia, è l’allegoria del  famoso androgino che in un connubbio di forze solari e lunari  guarda alla vicina Venere o Aphrodite come al pianeta apportatore di corporea sovranità terrestre,  togliendole quella  parte notturna e  celestiale, e imprimendole caratterstiche di ragione e illuminazione  chiare  come la luce  solare governatrice  dellla Terra.

La  reggenza in Terra è determinata e resa sovrana da Aphrodite la quale dona il suo specchio, altro simbolo al mito deputato, con l’avvento della sua genia nei Gemelli, ora Giove, meglio Zeus, essendo  un pianeta troppo lontano  dalla terra si deve  affidare ad Aphrodite ,per far nascere una figliolanza degna di essere chiamata  divina.

Senza la sensualità e la bellezza dell’atto divino che giunge improvviso non si possono avere esseri umani degni di essere chiamati ad essere rappresentazione di immagine della cosmogonia e del creato.

Gemelli identici ma  diversi nella loro sopravvivenza assumono le sembianze di Aphrodite e del sistema  solare grazie alla venuta  di qualcosa portato dal lontano spazio gioviale  con l’ausilio del pianeta Venere.

Il  tramite tra Zeus e Aphrodite  è  Hermes  che funge  da ponte galattico tra i due pianeti.

La leggenda vuole poi che Castore, il gemello mortale, sia ucciso in un combattimento e che Polluce  chieda a Zeus di farlo morire per stare unito al fratello morto, Zeus esaudisce questo desiderio e immortala i due Gemelli nella costellazione omonima, dove però Polluce essendo  immortale è la stella più luminosa.

La leggenda narra  anche che essendo Polluce immortale doveva trascorre  un giorno nell’Ade e un giorno in superficie perchè non poteva morire.

L’unità con il divino con la nostra parte di spiritualità si realizza nel mito di Leda .

Proseguirò questo esame del mito cercando insieme a voi di vederne i risvolti anche mercuriali dello stesso ,tenendo presente la profezia dei Maia, il quale nome deriva per l’appunto dalla madre di Hermes.

Dico solo che essendo il calendario Maia e la loro conoscenza della suddivisione del tempo  e dello spazio basato anche sulla  sapienza  delo zero come calcolo numerico,  questo popolo astronomico nella data del 21 12 2012 nulla poteva presargire di catastrofico in quanto superare  la stessa  disposizione della suddivisione che gli stessi matematici maia adottavano.

Numerologicamente e per la legge dello speculum ha più senso  la data 20.12.2012 che letta da destra  a sinistra e viceversa , da sempre la stessa visione anche se  diviene 21.02.2102 che letta da destra a sinisttra riporta ad essere 20.12.2012 il 21.02 potrebbe essere  letto secondo la precessione degli equinozi l’inizio dell’equinozio di primavera nel segno zodiacale dei Pesci che inizia per l’appunto il giorno 21 febbraio al verificarsi della concidenza numerica del 2102, stando ai movimenti della precessione  potrebbe essere proprio intorno a quella data  la  verifica terrestre  della nuova Eras dell’Aquario come costellazione.

Si noti che le costellazioni non coincidono con i segni zodiacali in vista della precessione e dei calcoli siderali che vengono presi a risultato per le angolature celesti mentre l’Astrologia si fonda su calcoli presi dalle stagioni tropicali facendoli sempre coincidere con la data di inizio dell’equinozio di primavera nel segno dell’Ariete il  21 marzo.

Accenniamo ora attraverso l’inno di Omero dedicato ad Hermes  l’equivalenza della sua nascita così ben descritta da Omero…

La nascita di Hermes è avvenuta ad opera di Maia, una delle Pleiadi, figlia del Titano Atlante, il sorreggitore della Terra.

Hermes il Dio dei poeti, protettore  degli armenti,protettore dei ladri,ispiratore dei poeti, colui che interpreta e sa dare logos ai messaggi occulti,lo scopritore dei misteri,l’ermeneuta, colui che attraverso i simboli e le parole sa dar vita alla chiarezza dei messaggi che provengono dal cielo, Hermes lo  psicopompo, l’unico che insieme a Persephone e Hades può varcare la soglia degli inferi e ritornare alla Luce, Hermes suonatore e inventore della lira, domatore di cavalli, corridore, alato dalla testa ai piedi, infatti ha un copricapo con le ali e i sandali alati.

Hermes lo sportivo, Hermes il precoce, Hermes  che porta notizie, Hermes legato  al mito di Apollo e di Delphi,Hermes il medico con il suo caduceo bastone su cui sono attorcigliati due serpenti.

Hermes è il pianeta Mercurio , pianeta più vicino al Sole, quello che ha la chiarezza divina della nostra stella madre, riconosciuto nella creatività artistica e nella sua mobilità rende la persona nata  sotto la sua egida estremamente eclettica e mentalmente fervida.

Il poeta deve avere un Mercurio astrologico ben posizionato nel quadro astrale ed esserne portatore della sua ermeneutica.

In linea di massima chi è un comunicatore deve avere la protezione di Hermes ed essere consacrato dalla sua benevolennza, non solo anche chi voglia trattare arti esoteriche o decifrare enigmi e rebus deve avere nel suo quadro astrale di nascita il pianeta Mercurio in posizione dominante.

Chi è dedito al commercio, agli affari e anche al gioco, deve avere un buon Mercurio.

Torniamo alla madre di Hermes Maia, e ai Maya e alla loro venerazione per il pianeta Venere e alla loro attitudine all’astronomia e alla matematica e quindi al computo del tempo e alle datazioni dello scorrere dello stesso.

I Maya facevano risalire la nascita della loro civiltà al pianeta Venere e  computavano i cicli della sopravvivenza  del mondo secondo delle datazioni ben precise ,ad ogni nuovo ciclo  che iniziava, facevano coincidere grandi cambiamenti soprattutto climatici, evocando e riassumendo ciò che antiche leggende riportavano  sempre come epoche in cui scompare qualcosa e si formano nuove etnie e conformazioni geografiche, come per  altri abitanti della terra anche i Maya conoscevano  la fine di una civiltà altamente tecnocratica  sparita ed inghiottita dalle acque, il mito di Atlantide.

Questa è un piccola e concisa spiegazione della civiltà Maya che calcolava il tempo suddividendo l’anno in 18 mesi di 20  giorni   a cui  sommavano 5 giorni aggiuntivi relativi  all’approssimazione temporale misurata  secondo la rotazione della Terra intorno  al Sole, e già questo  ci spiega  come conoscessero la particolarità di un sistema planetario eliocentrico, inoltre avevano considerato importante sommare all’anno terrestre anche la rotazione del pianeta Venere rispetto al Sole e alla visibilità dello stesso pianeta rispetto alla prospettiva terrestre, calcolando il ciclo di rotazione che Venere compie intorno al Sole pari a circa 224,40 giorni, quindi ogni circa 580 giorni il Sole ,la Terra e Venere ,si incontravano ipoteticamente alla fine del   ciclo di rotazione dei due pianeti, visibilmente evidenziato  dall’ elongazione di Venere rispetto alla Terra .

Maia ninfa divina nata da Atlante, etimologicamente ad Atlante se togliamo la lettera e finale e aggiungiamo la radice ide abbiamo la parola Atlantide.

Maia madre di un Dio precoce svelto e capace di svelare i misteri più arcani, un Dio  solare e neutro nella sua essenza, un Dio gemellare simile ad Apollo per alcune prerogative di potere.

Mercurio dotato di ali a cui i Maya davano il significato  di un uccello piumato dal corpo per metà serpente, quel serpente del cadudeo Mercuriale e quelle ali dei calzari e del copricapo di Hermes.

Bene per  adesso fermiamoci qui e poi proseguiremo nel ragionamento mercuriale.

This week’s installment is brought to you by the Full Moon of Gemini, Uranus direct, and the planet Venus.

Synopsis:

The flow is abuzz this week, and everything feels like it is on the move.  For quite some time we have been dealing with macroscopic energies, which has allowed us to manage our lives essentially unaffected by what’s going on.  Like the jet stream above, it might be moving and contorting to its own rhythms, but except for the occasional shower leave us untouched. This week, we get thrown into the mix, and it’s bound to be an interesting ride.  And it is my opinion we might find, at least for the moment, that it is considerably less unpleasant than anticipated. 

Tuesday is the big day, when Uranus goes direct, Venus enters Sagittarius, and the Full “Cold” Moon of Gemini all happen within a single day.  Yet, as alien as this might sound to some of you, like cinnamon in an apple pie, they all add a delectable spice to our daily lives.

The holiday season is upon us, and this always speeds up the pace.  Places to go, and people to see, parties to attend, and presents to buy always fills up the schedule.  And this year is apt to be little different.  There might be less lavishness thrown about as people are generally cautious, but in spite of that – or perhaps because of it, there is a greater spirit of warmth, joy, and comity.  This may not be the year for sipping champagne in a ballroom under crystal chandeliers, but for sipping on eggnog in a small cozy fire lit room full of good cheer with loving family and friends.  L’chaim!

As we return from our Thanksgiving celebrations The Flow is in perfect alignment with getting our heads around returning to work.  As might feel unusual from a long break off, returning to work does not feel ominous, dreadful, or unpleasant.  With the Moon in Taurus, there is almost a feeling of anticipation of overcoming challenges, moving forward, and accomplishing meaningful tasks.  Unfortunately, the universe has other plans, but today is a good day for kicking back, watching TV or a movie, finishing up any leftovers, and making plans for the week ahead.

What can I say about Monday?  Monday is apt to feel like a colossal cosmic joke, like a ride on a roller coaster, or a trip through a fun house.  All the good feelings get tossed in the circular filing cabinet as what’s up and down seem to spin around and we feel like a sneaker bouncing around a dryer.  Mercury (the geek) squares Uranus (the professor) at 11:52am just in time for lunch, and they are having one hell of an argument.  Unfortunately for us, they’re arguing about the nature of reality, and we have to suffer the consequences – hence the fun house effect we’re likely to experience during working hours on Monday.  The silver lining of all this is that if you really pay attention and listen closely, you might learn some valuable clues about the real nature of things.  For example, being late for a meeting with your boss might be embarrassing, but it might provide real insight into how he or she really thinks about you!

Tuesday

Tuesday is the real climax of this week.  At 6:52am The Geek (Mercury) has a meeting with his Spiritual Advisor (Neptune), and has a much better understanding of things.  However difficult Monday was, by Tuesday morning, things seem to be either back in perspective or smack dab in the middle of a new view of things.  Tuesday morning is an EXCELLENT time for thinking about long-term, perplexing, or difficult problems.  A little bit of thought can be rewarded with new insight, understanding, or wisdom.

Right after lunch, at 12:28pm PST, Uranus goes direct.  Uranus, the professor, magician, astrologer, revolutionary, and agent of change begins to reclaim his turf.  Real movement begins to occur in dealing with some major issues of the day such as health care, the economy, climate control, and the situation in Afghanistan.  Decisions will now be made, plans will now be sketched out, and people will begin to reach consensus on dealing with some fundamental problems in the world.  Since about the time of the 4^th of July, we may have felt as if we were moving backwards on solving these issues.  While none of these will be resolved overnight, now progress on them can, will, and should occur.  Hooray!

At 2:03pm Venus, goddess of love enters Sagittarius.  It’s like Paris Hilton throws a holiday party.  I can think of a few people I hope don’t make the guest list, but no matter who is there, Venus entering Sagittarius is bound to lift the spirits – and celebrate with a few of the imbibable kind.  With both Venus and the Sun in Sagittarius, people just want to have fun, and for the most part, as long as we are not too demanding, the planets should provide.  This doesn’t mean going to Macy’s and putting gold dinnerware on the Mastercard, because to be honest, if there’s one difficulty associated with these energies it’s the tendency to overdo it, and expect things to work themselves out in a tomorrow that never comes.  But if you’re willing to celebrate sans lightshade, so to speak, this holiday season shouldn’t disappoint.

And finally, at 11:29pm we have the Full “Cold” Moon of Gemini.  The Full Moon of Gemini always tends to scatter energies like blowing on a dandelion full of seeds, and this year’s moon is likely to be no exception.  But, this moon is a particularly good time improving relationships of all sorts.  People are likely to be more carefree and easy going at this time, and will respond well to all kinds of offers and overtures.  If you want to get to know someone better, or just improve existing relations, this is a good time for doing so.  The one thing to watch for is overly aggressive and pugnacious behavior.  Take things slowly to avoid accidents, do not get involved if someone tries to start a fight, and by all means, don’t try and start one your self.  If you can avoid these pitfalls, this full moon can be a romantic, magical time for sharing with loved ones and exploring dimensions of harmony.

Wednesday

Wednesday is apt to be a day for adjusting to all the frenetic activity of the earlier part of the week.  I wouldn’t be surprised to hear some discouraging news on the progress front from someone who tries to throw a monkey wrench into the movement for solving some political or social problems, but things will iron themselves out in time.  For the rest of us, Wednesday is likely to see progress dealing with our own issues.  This is the kind of day when ideas (many of them good) appear out of nowhere – driving the car, taking a shower, or waiting for the bus. 

Friday

On Friday at 3:44am, the Goddess of Love (Venus) sextiles the Karma Kop (Saturn).  Today we are likely to experience what we deserve from our relationships.  Be nice, and others will be nice to you, be mean and that’s what you’ll get from others.  On the whole, people have a tendency to be calmer and less likely to jump off the handle, and handle situations more appropriately.  If you have any long-term plans you are contemplating with a loved one, now is an excellent time to enact them.  The solidifying aspect of Saturn will help make them a reality.

Saturday

At 9:24am Mercury, the geek, enters Capricorn.  This is a GOOD place for Mercury – very good.  The seriousness, security, and substantiality of Capricorn is an excellent counterpoint to the often erratic nature of Mercury – enhancing thinking that is stable, cautious, grounded, and real.  For those Capricorns in the audience, it is a time for greater mental acuity, more robust thinking, and better problem solving ability.

Monday starts with a wallop as Uranus suddenly realises he’s been the butt of every bottom joke Mercury has made since July. Chiron dabs Mercury’s shiner with purple stuff that stings a bit. The troublemaker’s still twitchy on Tuesday, so Neptune makes him a nice cup of that calming tea that smells like wee wee.

Venus get Big Love Ideas on Tuesday, which Pluto promises to help her out with later. Venus wonders if her Big Love Ideas aren’t just too Big for one modestly-proportioned, cold planetoid to handle, so abouts-face to appeal to Saturn instead. Saturn obliges, however the results lack pizzazz and the love goddess’s lips set in dissatisfaction.

Mars gives a single triumphant HA when Saturn fails to cop off. Mercury, clutching a steak to his still-sore eye, mumbles into Saturn’s ear that she’ll fancy him in a few weeks, just wait and see.

You awake on Tuesday with unsettling need to do something different, to dedicate yourself to the lost and unfortunate. You set up a soup kitchen, however, the lost and unfortunate don’t like your worthy soup and shuffle off to Greggs. Next time, pour that sudden philanthropic urge into founding a free sticky bun depot. Hell, why free? I’d pay good money for a sticky bun.

Taurus

Early in the week, your colleagues consult their lawyer about that thing you’ve been doing in the stationery cupboard for the past three weeks. They do really like you, but your stubborn disregard for office supplies has stuck together fifteen reams of A4 80gsm Ultra White with an unidentified yellow goo. You’ll have time to make one last willy out of Blutack before you’re escorted from the premises. I must say, you’re remarkably philosophical about it after Tuesday.

Gemini

On Monday your significant other becomes less significant when they leave you for their naturopath, the hairy faker. This puts you in a right mood for a couple of days, but if you ask me you’re better off without someone who drinks spirulina for fun. On Tuesday, you harness your rich imagination to create a lover who laughs at your jokes and listens with interest to every retelling of every 80s Madchester stonehead anecdote. Perfect, just watch out for splinters.

Cancer

Swine Flu Monday becomes Beechams Tuesday. The forecast for the rest of the week is lemsip, lucozade, a fluffy quilt, and Jeremy Kyle.

Leo

Whatever, from next week you’ll start to find a way to sort out something that’s been dicking with you since July. Donna says:  Committed relationships aren’t the only close ties being challenged by Saturn in Libra—so are friendships. Friendships are always an important support system, particularly for those of us with no partner or family close at hand. As we saw recently in Libra Alert: How to Stop Being a People Pleaser, Libra is one of the signs that are especially prone to hiding their own needs and desires for the sake of preserving a relationship.

She kindly allowed me to reprint this beautiful, healing post. Here’s what she says:

I’ve been writing a good bit about personal power on my blog, and I am not sure I ever gave a working definition or an example of it in action. Let’s begin with Personal Power as knowledge and deep understanding of yourself and your purpose. Personal power gives you permission to express and pursue what is important to you. It makes no excuses for who you are or why you need to do whatever you need to do. Personal Power just makes sure you know what is your responsibility and what isn’t.

Adequate personal power prevents you from allowing others to control or define you. With personal power you will not buy into societal trends, beliefs, ideas, frameworks or concepts unless they align with your truth. So in essence, Personal Power is a compassionate space created by self knowledge and dedication to living your truth.

Personal power does not alienate you from others. It just provides boundaries to help you maintain personal integrity. When you function with personal power you understand that other people are very important, but everything you need is within you. All the power, understanding, support, nurturing and wisdom you need resides within.

There is nothing that anyone else can give you. The person in front of you may radiate aspects you think you need, but you would not recognize them if they were not part of your nature. You are inspired by and connected to others to experience your truth. 

You are whole, complete and capable, but you can only learn this in relationship with someone else. So it’s very possible and real to function from a space of personal power in a relationships. Here are some ideas around what a friendship between two empowered people looks like:

Commitment to supporting one another’s truth, but not living it. You support your friend: you love them, you care for them and you share with them. But at no point do you allow their truth to become yours, or their burdens to end up on your back. You realize that your connection with others does not define who you are, what your truth is, or how you should act. You remain connected to your truth and have your own experience of life.

You and your friend have a separate list of responsibilities and duties. At no point do you become responsible for your friend, or does your friend become responsible for you.

You are committed to living and expressing your unique truth in a respectful way. You understand that relationship and connection is important, but you know that you must express and experience your truth and no one else’s. There is nothing else for you to do, other than live your truth. If anything, relationships are a tool for learning and growth that brings you into deeper alignment with the truth and nothing heals more deeply than aligning with your truth.

You allow relationships to be a tool for evolution. You learn from them and allow your experience of them to guide, heal and deepen your expression of truth. And that is all. Growth is all there really is to do and relationships are the main tool for growth. When we misunderstand who we are and what we are here for our relationships will help us find balance. In fact people connect and form relationships with each other to help each other out. To view relationships in any other way removes a sense of equality and is a gross misunderstanding of who you are.

This is only a general exploration of personal power and what it looks like within a friendship. There is so much more to say. Depending on your truth and what you are working on, Personal Power and your relationships may be quite different for you. I hope this helps.

Per non essere troppo scientifica, avendo due anime e due spiritualità, devo scrivere e trovare supporto per la mia materia… l’Astrologia Il luminare in Astrologia governa il segno del Granchio, viene ad essere esaltato in Toro come archetipo di Selene e si colloca tra gli astri del segno dei Pesci.

Una prerogativa strettamente femminile viene ad evidenziarsi nei tre segni considerati per l’appunto segni negativi ossia passivi ricettivi e femminili, segni Yin.

 Ma è poi così tassativo e fondamento universale questo concetto?

Chi mi ha seguito e abbia letto il mio articolo sul Sole ha sicuramente letto che i poli simili si attraggono , allora come è possibile che la Luna sia solo passiva?

Se così fosse non potrebbe esercitare alcuna azione diretta sulle maree , perchè il maschile, come primcipio ,porta ad agire, ad esercitare un moto, meglio un’azione, e siccome Newton ha ben spiegato la legge di gravità e i principi che la sottintendono, ogni corpo celeste che esercita un’azione provoca una reazione.

La reazione può essere di pari entita di forza a quella dell’azione per cui in questo caso i due corpi venuti a contatto non subiscono movimento restando nelle rispettive posizioni, ovvero la reazione è più debole e allora il corpo reattivo viene attratto verso il corpo agente, ovvero la reazione ha una forza superiore che fa si che il corpo agente venga attirato dal corpo reattivo.

L’esempio del cavallo e dell’uomo è simbolico, se l’uomo e il cavallo si trovano su un piano uguale ,uno di fronte all’altro e l’uomo prese le briglie del cavallo fa un’ azione di forza per spostarlo verso di se ,il cavallo può non opporre resistenza e quindi essere tirato vicino all’uomo, può opporre resistenza di pari forza e quindi non spostarsi ovvero può mettere più forza e spostare l’uomo.

Ma in tutti i tre casi la reazione comporta pur sempre un’azione di intensità di forza..

Mi sono chiesta, da ignorante e neofita studiosa, come le  leggi e i principi fisici, la differenza tra legge e principio la lascio alla vostra conoscenza e intelligenza, siano adarrabili al quotidiano e a che cosa serva capire la disposizione dei corpi celesti e il loro moto fisico.

Allora prendendo spunto dai principi della fisica sul moto dei corpi e tenendo presente la legge di gravità, se io uomo muovo il cavallo verso di me e questo oppone una fievole resistenza ,quindi la forza energetica  non è pari alla mia forza di azione nel tiraggio,allora il  cavallo avrebbe un’intensità di forza energetica opposta alla mia, stando alla teoria che gli opposti si attraggano?

In questo caso per la teoria che se un corpo non incontra attriti si muove in inerzia e quindi in moto perpetuo, allora nel  momento in cui io debba attrarre un corpo materiale lo devo fare causando una reazione/ azione inferiore alla mia intensità di forza fisica.

La teoria dei poli opposti in attrazione reciproca su quali basi fonda la verifica e dimostrazione?

Prendiamo il caso della batteria della automobile per farla ripartire bisogna ricaricarla con cavi dove quello  positivo debba alimentare il polo negativo, colore rosso e nero, ma la batteria è un accumulatore di energia elettrica, che poi distribuisce, quindi se dovessero caricarla con parità di polarizzazione il risultato sarebbe che fonderebbe ma non solo nel riavviamento della ricarica si avrebbe un corto per il troppo accumulo di energia.

Quindi la parità di forza in questo caso da un’esplosione, fa combustione, divampa, allora bisogna usare una forza meno attiva ,per dirla più soft, per non creare sovrabbondanza.

Essendo una donna semplice cerco di capire, sbagliando anche, cosa succede nella vita quotidiana

Ritornando alla Luna che contiene l’elemento acqua e determina le maree e quindi i moti ondosi e lo fa secondo me in virtù di essere portatrice di un elemento simile se non uguale a quello del mare, c.d.  liquido chiamato acqua

 Stando sempre al principio che i simili o i corpi uguali si attraggono, la Luna viene attratta e attrae il mare in forza all’elemento acqua, quindi un elemento che possiedono entrambi.

Cosa succede nella loro corrispondenza attrattiva, sempre secondo me, nelle fasi lunari, determinate  in corrispondenza dela Luna con il Sole, che il moto ondoso, qualora la Luna abbia una forza energetica pari o superiore a quella del mare , si innalza e facendolo si rigonfia e si ingrossa , proprio come l’acqua in un vaso dove la goccia lo fa trabboccare, quindi sia il mare che la Luna quando si incontrano danno vita ai moti ondosi dovuti all’incontro del peso specifico delle acque il volume etc.., che sommati ne danno la quantità spaziale, poi per l’increspamento e sul moto si configura anche il fattore aria, ovvero il vento.

Per riportare questi assunti all’Astrologia si devono guardare i rapporti tra la Luna e il Sole e Nettuno e le case deputate all’acqua, la quarta, la dodicesima e la seconda casa dell’oroscopo personale, nochè l’elemento aria Mercurio per il moto esercitato dalle maree sull’anima e Giove se è ubicato in una casa di fuoco o aria.

Proprio come sulla Terra, l’acqua sarà una risorsa cruciale sulla Luna Il trasporto di acqua e di altre merci provenienti dalla Terra alla Luna è costoso. Reperimento delle risorse naturali, come il ghiaccio d’acqua, sulla Luna potrebbe contribuire ad accelerare l’esplorazione lunare.

Si tenga presente che fino ad oggi non sono stati avvistati pianeti che possano assurgere all’equiparazione chimico fisica e dimensionale al nostro pianeta ma gli scienziati sono ottimisti e sperano di trovare la nostra anima gemella presto, fino ad ora i pianeti avvistati sia come dimensioni sia come composizione della superfice si sono dimostrati più analogicamente affini a Giove, il quale presenta una superfice gassosa e una dimensione sferica e stratosferica di notevoli dimensioni. Per chi come me è affascinato dallo spazio notizie di galassie e di possibilità di vita esistono, basta saperle cercare, quindi se gli scinziati stanno ipotizzando altre forme di vita extraterrestri vuol dire che ne hanno già avuto le prove ma devono solo documentarle, se no non ne azzarderebbero neppure l’ipotesi, avendo una forma mentis dimostrativa dei fatti, non si esporrebbero su possibilità che non abbiano almeno una percentualità di essere verificata nei fatti,perfino il Papa sta scendendo dalle stelle e quindi pone automaticamente in discussione ,non volendo, il dogma cattolico che vuole l’ uomo come unico essere scientemente simile a Dio.
