Jaja… gestern war der Postermann zum dritten und letzten Mal im Hörsaalzentrum. Und nachdem mir drei Leute ungefähr fünf Mal gesagt hatten, dass ja der Postermann da ist (neueste Erkenntnis… der Postermann ist da! Oh ja… wisst ihr was?! Der Postermann ist daaa!), bin ich dann doch nach der Schule noch zum Postermann gegangen, um mich beim Postermann umzusehen. Und der Postermann hatte echt viel Poster dabei. Ist ja auch der Postermann. Da wär das ja komisch, wenn der keine Poster dabei gehabt hätte. Aber der Postermann, das war n Ding… der hatte echt ne Menge mehr Poster als ich dachte. Kein so richtig megamäßiges (außer das von Andy Warhol unten rechts… das war nur zu teuer, um mich sofort von sich zu überzeugen, aber wie ihr seht konnte ich nicht widerstehen..), aber viele solche, die man trotzdem kaufen würde. Eigentlich hab ich ja gar keinen Platz für Poster, weil ich ja schon mein eigenes Schwepper-Möchtegern-Drippainting (deswegen ist’s dann auch kein Jackson Pollock geworden) und n Frühstück bei Tiffany-Filmplakat und n Step Up 2-Plakat da hängen hab. Aaaaber… auf was verzichtet man nicht alles zugunsten des Postermanns!?! Jetzt hängt SU2 nicht mehr, wird’s bestimmt auch nicht mehr. Audrey häng ich um, nur weiß ich noch nicht wohin. Aber sie muss dableiben. Der Postermann findet sie ja auch toll… ich weiß es!
Jedenfalls hab ich jetzt n Berlin-Poster an der Wand. Ich war noch nicht mal in Berlin… aber… irgendwann wird das mal noch, inzwischen guck ich eben mein Pop-Art-Poster an… hauptsache es sieht schön aus.
Nächstes Mal, lieber Postermann, wird’s dann ein Roy Liechtenstein… ich will M-maybe!!!

Non so voi, ma io probabilmente non presenterò domanda per il posto di addetto alla comunicazione interna dell’Easa di Colonia, in Germania. Anche se avessi i titoli, infatti, mi chiedo: perché spedire la mia domanda via posta tradizionale, quando da anni spedisco la domanda senza alcun successo? Voi, tuttavia, potreste essere molto più bravi di me ed essere selezionati dall’Agenzia europea per la sicurezza aerea, spedendo la documentazione entro domani, giovedì ventisei novembre. In bocca al lupo.

23.11.09 Beh, nove anni richiesti di esperienza lavorativa forse sono molti per qualcuno. Oltre alla laurea, almeno triennale… Manager di programmazione alla Fra di Vienna (Austria) entro lunedì ventitre novembre all’una. Ora locale, naturalmente, che coincide con quella italiana. Modulo da compilare dell’Agenzia europea per i diritti fondamentali e domanda.

Addetto a programma scientifico, inoltre, al Coe di Strasburgo (Francia), il Consiglio d’Europa. Anche in questo caso molti di noi non potranno partecipare in quanto è necessaria una certa competenza nell’ambito farmaceutico. In bocca al lupo a chi partecipa, anche se queste selezioni sono difficili… E domande entro il ventitre novembre…

Per l’Oami di Alicante, Spagna, detto anche Ohim (Ufficio per l’armonizzazione nel mercato interno, un ente che si occupa di marchi). Domande entro giovedì diciannove novembre. Posso chiedervi se già lavorate per istituzioni pubbliche?

16.11.09 Ci sarà una motivazione ( l’incarico è abbastanza prestigioso), ma almeno dodici anni di lavoro alle spalle sono molti. Questo è, purtroppo, uno dei requisti. Comunque, sappiate che l’Easa di Colonia – Agenzia europea per la sicurezza aerea – offre un incarico di direttore del dipartimento «Formazione tecnica». Per lavorare, eventualmente, in Germania, dovete presentare la vostra domanda entro lunedì sedici novembre. Buon lavoro nel fine settimana per compilare la domanda!

Un lavoro di esperto in infrastruttura del mercato alla Banca centrale europea che dovrebbe aver sede – forse – a Francoforte. L’offerta scade martedì diciassette novembre.

Accidenti. Quindici anni di esperienza lavorativa per diventare direttore della Pmo di Bruxelles (Ufficio di gestione  e liquidazione dei diritti individuali), presentando la propria domanda entro mezzogiorno di mercoledì diciotto novembre. Pur tuttavia, non mi sembrano molti per un incarico direttivo. E voi cosa ne pensate?

Vorrei anche scrivervi qualcosa per chi ha un titolo Osa, operatore socio-assistenziale. Spero di riferirvi qualcosa su un incarico a Catania, in Lombardia o in qualche altra regione d’Italia. Ci riuscirò prossimamente?

13.11.09 Boh, la richiesta è davvero specifica questa volta, assistente alla gestione delle costruzioni. Si dovrebbe lavorare all’Eit di Budapest (Ungheria), l’Istituto europeo per l’innovazione e la tecnologia. Tempo stretto, da oggi, per le domande, da spedire entro venerdì tredici novembre a mezzogiorno (ora di Bruxelles).

Quanto alla specializzazione, ancor “peggio” – o “meglio” in base ai punti di vista – per l’informatico che si occuperà di infrastrutture o per l’assistente finanziario con nove anni di lavoro – se ricordo bene – alle spalle… E che dire del consulente legale?

P.s. Queste domande europee sono ottime per scoprire anche che esistono le cosiddette «Comunità della conoscenza e dell’innovazione» e che c’è un posto per addetto ad un progetto che riguarda questi gruppi…

One of the smallest countries, but also one of the wealthiest countries in the world.

Liechtenstein is sitting between Switzerland and Austria. The size of the country is 1/6 of that of Hong Kong with only 35,000 population.

The GDP per capita is $120,000! Incredible High!! The country is regarded as the Tax Heaven because of its rather low-tax policy.

The most amazing thing about the country is that the country is the the world’s largest producer of sausage casings and false teeth!

In addition, since this is a very very small country, the stamps from this small country become very valuable and they become the most desired stamps for stamp collectors.

What makes the trip really unforgettable is that we met the Prime Minister of Liechtenstein and had a picture with him! Though had only a few sentences with him, I regarded him is one of the most charming person i have ever met!

Thoughts of the trip:

1. Charm

The meeting with the Prime Minister helped me think of the word “charm”! The best adjective to describe man is charming, not handsome! I do believe charm is something not inborn, instead it depends largely on how much knowledge you have, how you speak and how you act! After a year of exchange, i wish i could be more charming.

2. The Absolute Advantage

Why such a small country can be such rich!? Recall my economics knowledge, why does the international trade benefit every country? Because each country should do what it is good at, then import the goods which it is not so good at. This will increase the total welfare of the country. Thus, each country should really find its own standpoint in the world economy.

For Liechtenstein, its strength is the banking industry! It established low tax system to attract “letter box” companies. Moreover, it has the similar law to protect the privacy of one’s wealth as Swiss. Though it is very likely that the country is going to suffer a lot owing to the USA urging the banks to disclose the information of its clients in order.

What about the absolute strength of Hong Kong? Financial Services for sure. What about the 6 important development sectors suggested by our government? Sorry, they will be dead after years. because our government never help a lot in R&D.

3. Principality

Liechtenstein is one of the only few existing monarchies in world in the 21st century. The country has more than 400 year history and ruled by the only family. I am really curious knowing why the princes of the country can all be good rulers, What can the prince guarantee his sons are as smart and capable as him?

The royal family is not just ruling the country, but it also has its royal business!!

Of course, you may say this is only a small country, it is easier to manage. Nonetheless, this small country is the most wealthiest country in the world. The management of the royal family can really a research for students studying Management or Politics.

Couple of weekends ago I had a chance to visit Zurich and Liechtenstein, the tiny little country in the heart of Europe that is even more obscure that Luxembourg. This micro-state has a population of one Elephant & Castle council estate and is the size of three football pitches. But for me the important number was 39, as Liechtenstein was number 39 in my 100 country challenge.
Just as in Switzerland, its natural resources are preserved to the maximum, punctuality is national obsession and prices make you feel like a penniless student again. Where else you’d have crystal clear mountain stream running through the city centre where trout are idly swimming. Where else delay of train departure for 2 minutes is considered national disgrace. Where else would you pay £20 pounds for a noodle soup, in ‘affordable’ rated restaurant.

Vaduz Die Gewinnchancen sind riesig beim Wettbewerb des Vaduzer Verlagshauses. Um in die engere Wahl der Gewinner zu kommen, muss man eine Frage beantworten, ein Onlineformular abschicken und abwarten, was passiert. Die Frage, die man beantworten muss lautet: Wie groß ist Liechtenstein? Drei Lösungsvorschläge sind vorgegeben. Den richtigen also ankreuzen und ab die Post! Bis zum 30. Liechtenstein ist das kleine Ländle zwischen Österreich und der Schweiz. Seit Alters her ist der kleine Staat am Rhein ein Fürstentum. Seit 1806 ist es ein selbständiger Staat mit sehr engen Kontakten zur benachbarten Schweiz.

Aber wie groß ist das Fürstentum? Das ist die Frage.

Desconocía el significado de la inscripción de la puerta cuando tomé la foto pero reconozco que me llamo mucho la atención al encontrrlo en algunas zonas de Suiza y en Liechtenstein. Así que rebuscando un poco por internet he averiguado que es una forma de bendecir la casa bastante habitual también en el sur de Alemania.

Los números son el año en curso (la fotografía es de 2007) y las letras son las iniciales de los nombres de los Reyes Magos (Gaspar o Caspar , Melchior y Baltassar) o el acrónimo de “Christus mansionem benedicat”.

Starker Wind in Orkanstärke über dem Norden und Osten Deutschlands

Berlin Über dem Norden und Osten Deutschlands tobten am Mittwoch kräftige Winde, die teilweise Orkanstärke hatten. Grund dafür sind kräftige Gegensätze zwischen Hochdruckgebieten über Italien und Tiefdruckgebieten über Skandinavien. Diese Gegensätze führten dazu, dass insbesondere die küstennahen Gebiete Schleswig-Holsteins und das Gebiet des Oberharzes von schweren orkanartigen Winden betroffen waren. An den Küsten wurde Sturmwarnung gegeben.

Begleitet wurde diese Wetterlage durch starken Regen, der vor allem in den norddeutschen Küstenregionen niederging.

Im Süden Deutschlands war das Wetter nach wie vor schön. Die Temperaturen lagen im gesamten Land weit über den langjährigen Mittelwerten. Von Italien her kam mit den Winden auch Warmluft nach Norden. Die Temperaturen lagen in Deutschland bei 11 Grad im Norden und 18 Grad am nördlichen Rand der Alpen. Dort wurde das Wetter durch starken Fön beeinflusst, der zusätzlich warme Luft aus Süden in den Raum nördlich der Alpen brachte.

In der Schweiz und in Österreich dagegen setzt sich das sehr milde Wetter weiterhin fort. Mit Temperaturen zwischen 15 und 19 Grad ist es für die Jahreszeit viel zu warm. Dabei ist es sehr regnerisch, und es wehen schwache bis mäßige Winde.

Mesmo sendo um dos menores países do mundo, é considerado um dos mais ricos, e conhecido também pela freqüente lavagem de dinheiro (utilizado como paraíso fiscal). Apesar disso há outros pontos que transformam positivamente o país. O sistema de saúde é desenvolvido e tecnologicamente avançado, com altos investimentos em aparelhagem de última geração. O sistema de educação é complexo e também possui eficiente estrutura, o que explica a alta taxa de alfabetização. A educação universitária é a única que é opcional, as outras são obrigatórias e pagas pelo governo.

Esqui Alpino

Os principais eventos do pais resumem-se a campeonatos de inverno, época em que Liechtenstein se torna centro turístico, com destaque para o esqui alpino (única modalidade que o pais possui medalhas olimpicas) e alpinismo. Outro esporte praticado é o rafting, realizado no verão, nos rios que percorrem Liechtenstein.

The fallout from the recent tax evasion settlement with UBS is reverberating throughout the G-20 community.  As we reported back in October,  the French Governments action directing banks to close branches and subsidiaries in non-OEDC compliant jurisdictions will pressure all G-20 participants to adopt a more uniform tax code and enforcement practice.  The drive to strengthen the respect of tax treaties and the closure of havens to custody assets beyond the reach of national tax authorities signals a new era in multinational cooperation and the eclipse of radical free market tax practices.

The principal drivers for this unprecedented level of cooperation and standardization is the dire need for national tax authorities to recognize and tax revenue streams to help address the burgeoning budget deficits the global economic crisis has has wrought.

Clearly the crackdown on tax evasion is gaining momentum since the global financial crisis has devastated national treasuries.  Enormous expenditures on stimulus programs and dramatically falling tax receipts has created a perfect storm and has created an enormous threat to the fiscal soundness of national treasuries.

Forbes reports that Singapore has become the latest in a flurry of jurisdictions complying with Office of Economic Cooperation and Development standards on transparency and exchange of information for tax purposes.  Fifteen jurisdictions have come into compliance since April 2009.  In addition to Singapore and the sea change occurring in the Suisse banking industry; other  governments that have lost revenue to tax havens are individually taking tough action:

–The U.K. government has informed the Isle of Man that it will reduce revenue transfers of value-added tax receipts to the island by 50 million pounds next year, 9% of the island’s revenue.

–French banks are starting to close down their operations in tax havens.

–In Germany, the hiding of funds in Liechtenstein bank accounts has prompted a backlash against tax havens.

–In the United States, White House advisor Paul Volcker in December is due to report on ways of eliminating revenue losses to tax havens.

This heightened regulation and standardization amongst  G-20 tax authorities is quickly closing any regulatory tax arbitrage opportunities for global investors.  The closure of preferential tax domiciles will heighten the power and reach of national tax agencies enforcement capabilities and the scope of their examination reach.  The IRS is stepping up its enforcement and institutional assets to assure that private equity and hedge fund industries comply with all the anti-money laundering laws and stringent tax codes.

When I was much younger, most if not all of the product labels read “Made in America”.  Not so today.  We have labels from all over the globe.  Embarrassingly, on some items I don’t even recognize the country on its label.  Countries such as Liechtenstein and the Grenadines.

My family likes to visit various dollar stores.  Last month I searched a dollar store in hopes of finding a product or two with “Made in America” on its label.  Nothing.  Nada.  Zilch. 

That’s okay.  I still bought a few dollar items, but that got me thinking.  What does my “label” read and how about your “label”?  Made in America?  Made in Africa?  Made in Asia?  Where? 

If you really think about it, we weren’t made in America, Africa, Asia or elsewhere. We were made by God with heavenly hands and placed here on earth. The Bible says in Genesis 1…..”He created us in His image.”  That’s our “label”.

I have heard and read that some claim to be self made.  Sort of a Clint Eastwood attitude.  You almost can hear Dirty Harry in his own words saying that he got up early, pulled up his boots, dusted off his hat, worked the land, did things his way on his terms, no need for help, don’t depend on anyone, just “git r done”. 

Honestly, that couldn’t be farther from the truth for my “label”.  My “label” has many people’s influence, impartation, teaching and guiding, opportunities, smiles and words of encouragement, times and places where they chased me down and were instrumental in turning me back on the right track, loved me, graced me, mercied me, and – well you get the picture.

I am not self made.  Very far from it.  If I had a “label”, it would read:   Made by God.  Developed and improved by many others from around the globe.

Gestern war ich erstmals auf einem Barcamp – und zwar beim Barcamp Liechtenstein 2009. Für all jene, die nicht wissen, was ein Barcamp im Detail ist: Hier gibt’s die Beschreibung.

Das Barcamp Liechtenstein hatte keine veröffentlichte Themenspezialisierung. Umso überraschender war für mich (und auch andere), welche Themen nach der Begrüßungs- und Vorstellungsrunde vorgeschlagen wurden. Es ging häufig um Nachhaltigkeit, soziale Themen, Wirtschaftsethik und im Besonderen Bankenethik, Mikrogenossenschaften, neue Gesellschaftsordnung aber natürlich auch um vermeintlich technische Themen wie SCRUM, Twitter, oder Social Media Marketing.

Die Runde der Teilnehmer/innen war nach meiner Wahrnehmung überaus bunt. IT Experten, Social Media Experten, Studierende, Hochschuldozenten, Forscher, Unternehmer, Psychologen, Buchautoren aber auch Physiker, um nur einige zu nennen, die mir spontan in Erinnerung geblieben sind. Diese “Diversität” war für die Diskussionen allerdings überhaupt nicht hinderlich. Es wurde offen, respektvoll, engagiert und (mehr oder weniger) strukturiert diskutiert.

Hier beispielhaft die “Nachhaltigkeits-Diskussion” am Samstag Vormittag:

Besonders wertvoll waren für mich die persönlichen Kontakte und Gespräche. Ich habe viele Menschen kennen gelernt, die ich bisher nur “über das Internet” kannte aber auch andere, die ich noch nicht kannte. Karsten Sauer beispielsweise hat mich mit den Worten begrüßt: “Ach, Dich gibt’s ja wirklich!” Das fand ich witzig und auch irgendwie symptomatisch. Und auch die Gespräche mit Oliver Gassner, seines Zeichens Web2.0 Vordenker, GTD und XING Spezialist und Barcamp-Profi (Liechtenstein war sein 26. ! Barcamp), Andreas Grabher und Dietmar Walser waren hochspannend. Leider konnte ich mir die Namen der vielen weiteren Gesprächspartner/innen und Diskutant/innen nur schwer merken. Aber ich hoffe, dass ich ihre Kontaktdaten noch eruieren werde und dass die Diskussionen bei Zeiten weiter geführt werden.

Mein persönliches Fazit:

• In Summe war das Barcamp für mich ein voller Erfolg.
• nette und interessante Menschen kennen gelernt
• interessante Diskussionen, einige wertvolle Inputs
• Top-Räumlichkeiten, reibungslose Organisation
• Ein vorher festgelegter und klar kommunizierter thematischer Fokus wäre meines Erachtens ein Vorteil gewesen.

In den nächsten Tagen werde ich zu einigen inhaltlichen “Learnings” des Barcamps (z.B. SCRUM, GTD, Wirtschaftsethik, Nachhaltigkeit) noch im Detail schreiben.

Im Herzen Berlins liegt das legendäre Galerienviertel rund um die Auguststrasse und dort begann 1982 der Boom der neuen deutschen Malerei mit dem Einzug der Galerie EIGEN + ART und den Künstlern der Leipziger Schule in die Berliner Auguststraße 26.

Dieses Galerienviertel hat sich heute jedoch von der geschichtsträchtigen Auguststrasse über die Torstrasse bis hin zur Brunnenstrasse in Berlin Mitte um weitere Galerien vergrößert. Clearly, as my post of several days ago failed to mention, the key to happiness is not simply going for a walk. It’s a good start, however, and I daresay if you threw your arms up in the air and said “I’ve had with being miserable, I’m going for a walk”, the walk would make you feel a heck of a lot better, especially if you just kept on going right to the edge of your town and then to the next town and then to the coast (if you have one*).

The other solution to happiness mentioned in my first post was that, prior to donning a pair of stout boots and stepping out into the wilderness, you should turn off your internet browser. On further reflection I feel that this kind of drastic action could have serious implications. Firstly, it could damage the profits of major telecommunications companies, and you wouldn’t want to do that. Secondly, staff at Google, Yahoo!, and msn would have to go back to doing what they did before the internet was invented…namely writing ‘10 print “I am ace”; 20 goto 10′ on their BBC Microcomputers. Thirdly, Amazon would have to relaunch itself as a real bookshop, one where you can actually go in and read the books, NOT JUST THE PRELIMS PAGES. (Sorry, I hit caps lock there by accident.) In other words, a mass walk out by internet users, (as seen recently by British postal workers) could be severely damaging to lots of hardworking people sitting on beanbags in Silicon Valley^. So keep browsing.

To return to my original question: how not to be happy. It’s easy: play miniclip 8-ball pool for 37 hours straight. The resulting self-loathing can keep you on a high of lowness for days. “Why didn’t I do something more productive like work on my blog?” you will scream. More on the key to happiness later.

*I should add that no offence is intended to my Swiss readers here, or to any other residents of landlocked nations. Of course you could, if you are Swiss and miserable, keep walking into France or Germany or Austria or Italy or Liechtenstein, providing you have your passport or ID or whatever. Also, it’s best to budget for a cab ride home. And tell someone you’re going out. Forrest Gump didn’t, and look what happened to him. He grew a beard and ended up on a desert island talking to a basketball.

^Usage fans will be keen to point out the difference between silicon and silicone. ‘Silicone Valley’ is not correct, if you mean the place where all the IT companies are. Silicone Valley is a different place, noted for its unusual geography, where the hills on each side of the town have been been artificially enhanced to impress neighbouring communities. I’d like to credit my adolescent inner-child for this piece of trivia.

Zuflucht in Liechtenstein

Vaduz Wer in der Vergangenheit zuviel Geld hatte, konnte es in Liechtenstein “parken”. Das hatte den Vorteil, dass man es nicht in die Steuerkassen seines Heimatlandes zahlen musste. Auch viele reiche Deutsche nutzten diesen Vorteil aus. 1998 gab es sogar einen handfesten Skandal in der deutschen Politik, weil eine der grossen deutschen Parteien viel Geld in Liechtenstein geparkt hatte.

Für die betroffenen Staaten waren diese Gelder weg. Sie konnten nicht verwendet werden, um Schulen, Krankenhäuser und ähnliches zu finanzieren.

Deswegen machten Regierungen Druck. Unter anderem verlangte Bundeskanzlerin Merkel schon vor Jahren von der liechtensteinischen Regierung, dass man dort Regeln schaffen sollte, die es Deutschen unmöglich machten, ihr Geld dorthin zu transferieren.

Nun hat Liechtenstein ein solches Gesetz erlassen. Demnach ist es jetzt möglich, Informationen über Konten ausländischer Bankkunden an die jeweiligen Heimatländer weiter zu geben. Das gibt jenen die Möglichkeit nachzuprüfen, ob jemand Geld außer Landes geschafft hat, das eigentlich der Fiskus hätte bekommen müssen.

Das Fürstentum Liechtenstein wurde daraufhin von der UNESCO von der Grauen Liste der Steueroasen gestrichen.

Acest referat este o cercetare asupra artei și culturii postmoderne. Sunt puse in discuție atât teorii cu privire la postmodernism( dacă acesta este o mișcare nouă sau o continuare a modernismului, ce este și ce nu este postmodernismul etc) cât și idei cu privire la arta postmodernă(mijloace de exprimare ale artei, arta digitală, televiziunea etc).

O scurtă privire asupra postmodernismului

Această cercetare a pornit din dorința personală de familiarizare cu arta și cultura postmodernă in mijlocul căreia trăim. Cercetarea a pornit de la întrebarea -”Ce este postmodernismul de fapt?”-și a continuat cu studiul câtorva cărti(indicate in bibliografie) și al câtorva site-uri(indicate in siteografie),și s-a concretizat cu acest referat.

După moartea modernismului, aproximativ in anii ‘70 , arta trebuia să urmeze o nouă directie.Totuși nu a existat o intoarcere spre vechile stiluri (clasicism, romantism, sau realism) ci era nevoie de noi forme și conținuturi. Totuși postmodernismul nu merge departe de modernism ci e mai degraba un fel de continuare logică a acestuia.

“Pe la sfarșitul secolului al XIX-lea, lumea artistică a ajuns și a trecut granița intelectuală și culturală a contextului sfârșitului anilor 1960 și 1970. A absorbit universul absurd al existentialismului care pe atunci era la modă, eșecul reducției pozitivismului, și căderea socialismului Noii Stângi. S-a conectat la greii intelectuali ca Thomas Kuhn, Michael Focault si Jacques Derrida, și a luat indicații din temele lor abstracte despre antirealism, deconstructie și din pozitia lor puternic impotriva culturii vestice. Din aceste teme, postmodernismul a introdus patru variații asupra modernismului. “

Mai întâi, ca și filozofii postmoderni , artiștii acestei perioade au devenit antirealiști respingând orice formă de realism. Postmodernismul a reintrodus conținuturi dar numai cele ironice și cu referire la sine însuși.

În al doilea rând postmodernismul a stabilit mai multe deconstrucții ale categoriilor tradiționale decât a făcut modernismul.

Cea de-a treia caracteristică a postmodernismului este tendința sa spre distrugere (ex, opera L.H.O.O.Q. a lui Duchamp în care Monalisa lui DaVinci este reprezentată cu barbă si mustață) .

Postmodernismul permite oricui să expună conținuturi atâta timp cât acestea vorbesc despre realitatea socială si nu despre cea naturală sau obiectivă.

Conform lui Andreas Huyssen postmodernismul timpuriu are patru faze. Prima dintre acestea se referă la postmodernismul anilor ‘60 definit de un tip particular de imaginație care punea in evidentă un acut simț al viitorului și al noilor frontiere, al discontinuitații, al crizei și al conflictului dintre generații. Acesta amintea de primele avangarde europene de felul dadaismului și al suprarealismului. A doua fază a postmodernismului includea un atac iconoclast împotriva “artei instituționalizate” (Peter Bürger). În cea de-a treia faza partizanii din occident ai postmodernismului împărtășeau optimismul tehnologic al unor grupări din avangarda anilor ‘20. Cea de-a patra fază este definită de încercarea de validare a culturii populare fată de “arta inaltă” modernistă sau tradiționalistă.Tendinta “populistă” din deceniul al șaptelea și-a dobânidit in bună parte energia în contextul unei contraculturii și a unei abandonări aproape totale a tradiției americane intemeiată, până nu demult, pe critica culturii moderne de masă.

“J.F.Lyotard a scos la iveală și a identificat o filieră alternativă a postmodernismului, și anume antimodernismul. Înca din anii ‘80, s-a făcut auzită din ce in ce mai mult pretenția de a pune capăt experimentelor, care s-a bucurat de o intensă mediatizare populistă. Conservatorismul antimodernist face parte in mare măsură din așa-zisa “perspectivă” postmodernă, o încâlceală de păreri contradictorii, acesta fiind unul dintre motivele pentru care este imposibil să se ajungă la un consens rațional in privința postmodernismului.”

O alta falsă filieră a postmodernismului este postmodernismul eclectic. Același Lyotard spunea “eclectismul este gradul zero al culturii generale contemporane: se ascultă muzică reggae, se văd westernuri, se mănancă la McDonalds la prânz și se gătește în casă la cină, se poartă parfumuri pariziene la Tokio și haine “retro” la Hong Kong; cultura este utilă doar la concursurile Tv. Același lucru se intamplă și în arta-kitsch, confuzie și stilul “merge orice”. Neexistând criterii estetice, singura unitate de masura rămân banii.Toate “gusturile” precum și toate “nevoile” sunt satisfăcute de piață.”

Adevaratul postmodernism poate fi recunoscut dupa trei caracteristici esentiale: prima dintre ele este dilema reproductibilității. Cea de-a doua este o aură consumeristă care se extinde asupra a tot ceea ce apartine trecutului: obiecte cu design retro, haine vintage, aparate de radio din perioada Art Deco, cutii metalice de biscuiți etc. Cea de-a treia caracteristică a postmodernismului este consumerismul axat pe imagine. Reproducerile iau locul realității sau o înlocuiesc printr-o hiper-realitate. Noi trăim ceea ce deja a fost trăit și reprodus, iar realitatea noastră nu e decât cea a imaginii descompuse in fragmente.

Arta postmodernă

Postmodernismul rastoarna paradigma antropocentrică înlocuind artistul cu un bricoleur -un individ care pune laolaltă fragmente ale sensurilor create de altcineva, nu de el. Artiștii postmoderni folosesc mijloace neortodoxe pentru a “crea”: grăsimea de la liposucție(Evaristti), paie(Kiefer), excremente umane (Manzoni) sau de elefant (Ofili), urină(Serrano), sânge(Quinn), pietre(Smithson), maioneză, hotdog, ketchup(McCarthy) .

“Arta postmodernă este un fenomen unic in istorie. Oricare altă cultură din istoria umanității a produs si onorat cu mândrie pictura, sculptura, arhitectura, muzica si literatura. Dar, arta postmodernă, in teorie si in practică, este o mișcare antiartă. Se mândrește cu distrugerea formelor artei mai sus menționate și cu șocarea audienței.

“Stravechea Mimesis s-a întors pare-se, dar de data aceasta, ca zeiță a răzbunarii. Nu se mai pune problema imaginilor reprezentând o realitate transcendentă: însusi conceptul unei astfel de realități e astazi denunțat ca un efect al iluziei. Oglinda paradigmei postmoderne nu reflectă nici lumea exterioară, a naturii, nici pe cea launtrică a subiectivitații: ea se reflectă pe sine într-o oglidă, într-o oglindă, într-o oglindă…”

“Warhol “papă al artei pop”, refuză ideea, îndelung acreditată, a operei de artă ca supremă creație originală într-un spațiu și într-un timp unice si lansează mesajul postmodern care proclamă transformarea imaginii intr-o marfă, reproductibilă mecanic, parte a unui “set total de acte ale comunicării” in care stilurile, concepute și transmisibile global, pot fi semnalate concomitent, în diverse puncte ale hărții culturale a lumii, radiind în toate direcțiile, de la un continent la altul.”

Plecând de la afirmația lui Warhol “totul e drăguț” artiștii pop au luat imagistica banală și timidă a vieții cotidiene la valoarea ei declarată ca produs comercial, astfel încât subjugarea artei de către legile mărfii parea un proces încheiat pentru totdeauna.

Una dintre caracteristicile artei postmoderne este inserarea imaginilor apocaliptice, caracteristică ce o putem vedea și in televiziunea zilelor noastre (știrile Pro Tv de la ora 17, filmele dar și desenele animate(!) tot mai violente.”Consecinta a fost o criză in relații. logica bunului simt si credința, nu se sugereaza de fel existenta unui moment istoric in care aceste relații să fi fost întemeiate pe o corespondență perfectă, ci a unei diferențe istorice a modurilor de articulare a bunului simț cu credința. Schimbarea e de ordin cantitativ si e parțială, dar efectele ei sunt reale și din ce in ce mai vizibile.”

Lewis P.Thorpe afirmă ca televiziunea nu e o oglindă a lumii, ci lumea este o oglinda a televiziunii.Televiziunea este creatoare de mituri (vedete care nu își merită statutul apărute în urma mediatizării excesive), este un surogat al culturii și dă privitorului senzația că află tot și știe tot.

Trecerea de la Galaxia Guttenberg la Satul Mondial al lui McLuhan a pus în pericol egalitatea dintre educație și alfabetizare. Rezultatul acesteia a fost înlocuirea culturii cărtii cu o cultura a imaginii (tendința de a ne informa privind la televizor). Efectul invaziei imaginii e înlocuirea realului cu aceasta care este investita cu o valoare care nu poate concura cu realitatea.

Termenul de spatiu cibernetic a fost inventat de scriitorul de romane știintifico-fantastice William Gibson în cartea “Neuromancierul” și era definit ca o “halucinație consensuală”. Termenul este aplicat unui spațiu generat de software într-un calculator care creaza experiențe în realitatea virtuală. În lumea virtuală poți comunica cu oameni din diferite colțuri ale lumii, poti face cumpărături sau poți face artă. Arta electronică este considerată limita esteticii postmoderne .”Când tehnologia în ultima ei fază, “ultramodernistă”, se leaga din nou de primitivism sau spaima mitologică “devenită esențială și radicală”, nu ne mai aflăm in fața unei lumi a simulacrului și a hiperrealismului, ci a unui nou orizont al tehnologiei virtuale și al sfârșitului definitiv al fanteziilor realului.”

Concluzii

Postmodernismul este nu o miscare opusă modernismului ci o continuare a acestuia. Practic, postmodernismul a preluat scheletul modernismului pe care a construit noi ințelesuri. Făcând referire la cultura de la sfarșitul istoriei, Heidegger susține că cel mai stabil criteriu al acesteia va fi “starea de spirit”.

Arta postmodernă- fie ca vorbim de arta propriu-zisă, de arta digitală sau de televiziune- este axată pe imagine. Principala caracteristică este reproductibilitatea iar scopul principal este să șocheze audiența. Valoarea artei este data piată (arta este făcută pentru a fi vândută).
