Bad Azz tells RapGodfathers that he belongs in rehab and not jail because of his marijuana addiction. According to WAFB, Boosie’s sentence has been bumped up to 10 years. Huh?!

“If I made a mistake with marijuana, why am I not eligible for rehab?” Boosie questioned. “I’ve been on marijuana since a teenager. I need some rehab. Jail is not rehab.”

UPDATE: According to our political connects: He was sentenced to 10 total. Six were suspended. So four to serve. With good behavior 2-3 he will be out.

A few weeks ago, Hip Hop Vibe reported that Lil Boosie was sentenced to four years in prison. This came because he violated his probation when he was caught with marijuana. Now, the Louisiana rapper is expected to begin his prison sentence. He is set to spend two years behind bars and two under house arrest.

Now that he is set to begin his prison sentence, Lil Boosie is saying that he has a terrible addiction to marijuana. Because of that, he feels that he should be in rehab, as opposed to going to prison. He feels that he will receive better treatment in rehab, thus less likely to break the law again.

The reason that Boosie has stated this is because he was caught with drugs. He said that if this is a drug-related issue, he must need to go to rehab, as opposed to prison. Having drugs in one’s possession constitutes as a felony, which means prison time is possible. Apparently, Lil Boosie is stretching for something that will not lead to him going to prison.

No matter what happens, Lil Boosie is expected to release his next album sometime in 2010. He said that he has a lot of new music coming.

Rofl, SMH, kann ich da nur sagen: Eminems neuer Stiefvater Neal Alpert ist bisexuell (was an sich nicht schlimm ist) UND hat Eminems Mum  Debbie Nelson vor gut einem Jahr verklagt! Der Typ war nämlich ihr Agent und Co-Author des Anti-Marshall Schinkens “My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem”. Und warum wurde sie verklagt? Genau, es ging um Geld (was auch sonst…) Seitdem haben sie sich aber wohl wieder zusammengerauft (und das Geld bestimmt gut aufgeteilt, dass sie mit dem Buch verdient hat) und lieben sich. Am lustigsten finde ich die Begründung für die Heirat:

For those who haven’t been updated on the Lil Boosie drama, here is a quick summary.  Lil Boosie, A/K/A Torrence Hatch was convicted on a third offense for marijuana possession.

However, like the trend of rappers who seem to be doing it, Boosie then violated his house arrest and was ordered to serve 2 years in prison.  At first Boosie said that jail time would be good for him and beneficial to himself in the long run.  However, the closer the jail date approaches, the less Boosie is feeling the beneficiary part of prison, and is now attempting a new approach at the situation.

Boosie has now said that he does not need jail, but needs rehab for his addiction to marijuana.  Boosie does not understand his sentence and claims that he is being judged on his rap alter ego and not the true Torrence Hatch:

“If I made a mistake with marijuana, why am I not eligible for rehab?” Boosie questioned. “I’ve been on marijuana since a teenager. I need some rehab. Jail is not rehab.”

“They’re treating me on who they think I am. They judging me on Boosie Bad Azz, not Torrence Hatch,” Boosie stated to Louisiana’s WAFB channel 9 before starting his sentence. “I had to do these two shows these last two days to feed my family.”

Boosie violated his house arrested to do two concerts for what he said “was to feed my kids.”  This is Boosie’s 4^th (yes 4^th) prison sentence, being the 3^rd for marijuana possession.   At press time, Lil Boosie is in custody at Winn Correctional Center in Louisiana, and serving his two year sentence.  Once released, he will have to complete 5 years of probation.

Ok Boosie, so you got 2 million on your neck but can’t feed your kids…maybe you need this time to yourself.

First and foremost. I hope you all had a great week!

Here in NY we’ve been fortunate enough to still be getting

some descent weather so you know that helps… This was

definitely a pretty big week in music, with the release of

50 Cent’s long awaited “Before I Self Destruct” album things

are really starting to get interesting. As we all know 50 has been

goin’ in on Jay-Z these past few weeks… so for his sake let’s just

hope he sells something close to what Blueprint 3 sold in its

1st week (I think 50 will do about 400-500k, we’ll see)…

C-Murder back in jail for breaking rules of house arrest

Three years after he was placed under house arrest to await retrial on a murder charge, rapper Corey “C-Murder” Miller was jailed on his birthday Monday for allegedly leaving his residence for 10 minutes in violation of home incarceration rules.

Miller, 38, was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center about midday and will remain there at least until Wednesday, when he will appear before Judge Hans Liljeberg of the 24th Judicial District Court. Liljeberg could keep Miller in jail until his trial, set to begin April 20, or release him back into house arrest.

Rappers have been unable to outrun the long arm of the law as of late.  With C-Murder, T.I. and Max B behind bars, Boosie having his sentence doubled and Lil Wayne possibly facing a year, it feels as though no artist is safe from the big house and must be weary of his/her actions.

Rapper B.G. was barely able to escape as he was arrested last Tuesday following a traffic stop when authorities found three weapons in the vehicle and two were reported as being stolen.  He was booked into the Orleans Parish Prison on a charge of illegally carrying a weapon.

Appearing in magistrate court last Thursday, B.G. was able to post bond and ducked the cell, but no further information has been released in regards to another court appearance.

Speaking with HipHopWired, the rapper weighed in on the gun situation and maintains the fact that he was unaware of their presence.

“As far as I know they could’ve been in there when I was in there, I have no knowledge. I plead the 5^th on this one.”

The rapper also shed some light on his feelings towards Wayne, whom he said he hasn’t spoken with since his sentence was announced.

“F*ck man, he in a f*cked up situation, hopefully they give him some house arrest or something.”

In regards to the Hot Boys reunion, B.G. stated that there will probably be a hold on it due to the circumstances, but the record is all rapped up.

Birdman stated the album might be ready for summer 2010.

A parole violation resulted in Boosie’s sentence being lengthened.  B.G. talks about the upcoming mixtape that the two crafted and adds that a person just has to look at the time in front of him/her and just deal with it.

“With Boosie, we just did a mix tape together. I’m about to put this Boosie and B.G. mix tape out in probably a couple of weeks. I’ve done mine, my time, I done mine. You can’t wine about it, you got to do it. You can’t feel like you’re above the law, they’re trying to make examples out of us.”

Louisiana rappers have been hit hard as it relates to the legal system.  Adding himself to the fray as it regards to doing time, C-Murder is dealing with a potential life sentence and Turk is still doing his time.

The rapper also gave an update on Turk who was convicted in 2006 for attempted murder of a Tennessee police officer that he shot back in 2004.

“He should be going to the halfway house soon…They tell me he getting hit with civil law suits but I think he’s going to be alright.”

With trouble continuing to follow rappers, B.G. must continue to look forward with the release of Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood, dropping December 8.

Rapper Lil’ Boosie was sentenced to four years in prison on Monday by a judge in Baton Rouge, La., for violating his probation, according to the city’s CBS affiliate WAFB.

The rapper, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, was placed under house arrest with an ankle monitor after being convicted of drug and gun charges in September. But the monitor indicated that on more than one occasion that Hatch violated the terms of his release.

U.S. District Court Judge Chip Moore revoked Hatch’s probation, and sent him to jail for four years, twice the originally envisaged term. He is expected to serve a maximum of two years now.

Hatch, 26, took a plea deal to a third-offense marijuana-possession charge in September in connection with an October 2008 arrest when police found a bag of marijuana, a blunt and a gun in a vehicle he was driving. The drug charge alone would have landed him in prison for 20 years, with a mandatory minimum of fives years for the gun charge.

After the plea, Moore ordered Hatch to be electronically monitored and to clear all concert dates with the court while awaiting sentencing.

Baton Rogue, Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie has been sentenced to four years in prison for violating the terms of his probation. The rapper, born Torrence Hatch, was to serve two-years of a ten-year suspended sentence and was placed on active supervised probation for his third offense on a marijuana possession charge. The sentence was the result of an October 22, 2008 arrest that uncovered drugs and a gun in Baton Rogue. When Boosie was sentenced in September, Judge Chip Moore warned the rapper to stay out of trouble and to keep away from felons, guns and trouble in general.

At a sentencing hearing yesterday (November 9), Judge Moore double the original two-year sentence to four years, because Boosie’s house arrest ankle bracelet indicated that he had violated the terms of his release several times. As a result, Lil Boosie, 25, was sent straight to prison to begin serving his prison sentence. The Baton Rogue, Louisiana based rapper appeared at the 2009 BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta where he spoke to AllHipHop.com about his original two-year prison sentence.

“It’s just a minor setback,” Lil Boosie told AllHipHop.com. “I am not even a convicted felon and they are giving me time.”  Upon release, Lil Boosie must complete at least two years of supervised probation in order to have the gun charge dropped from his record. Lil Boosie’s album Superbad: The Return Of Boosie Bad Azz is in stores now.

Wow Boosie you are an absolute idiot…2 years wasn’t enough for you?

Rapper Lil Boosie was sentenced November 9th to 4 years in prison after violating probation. Boosie, government name Mr. Torrence Hatch, was supposed to be on house arrest until his sentencing after be previously charged September 2009 to 2 years for drug and gun charges. Boosie was required not only to be on house arrest but also to wear an ankle bracelet, and on more than one occasion it alerted officials of him leaving the premises.

While its said that Boosie will probably due the maximum time of 2 years, what an idiot he is!!!! I would make him serve the entire 4 years, because clearly he doesn’t care about his career and family to do such a stupid thing of not only being arrested for gun/drug possession but to violate your house arrest. I mean, you have a freaking ANKLE BRACELET on you..did it not register that if you leave your house, the can track your ass? SMH!!!!!!!!
