There is an awesome movie from during the summer called The Proposal. In the middle of the movie, the Gammy is chanting in the forest and Margaret joins her. Margaret ends up singing some rap song and shaking her ass like crazy. It instantly became an inside joke between my friends and I after we watched it. I wanted to know what the song is, and I’m sure plent of others want to know. The song is Get Low by Lil’Jon and the Eastside Boyz. Lemme see you all get low. You scared!

This post treats the new album of Kevin Cossom – a singer / rapper signed on Jive.

The album is called Hook Vs Bridge and seems to be a really hot debut !

The last few years he wrote several tracks for acts like Young Jeezy, R.Kelly, Rick Ross, Lloyd Banks and Trey Songz – but the biggest hit in his career so far was Knock you Down by Keri Hilson.

Mtv describes him as “the man, and you probably don’t even know it yet,” and XXL Magazine described his musical style as “Usher meets Justin Timberlake”. So currently he is handled as the “next big thing”.

He also is one of the first artists to be signed on Danja’s N.A.R.S Records imprint, which is a place for artists that also perform outside the box.

About his work on the #1 hit Knock You Down he says:

I definitely get a lot less sleep than before. It’s still new for me. I’m trying to balance it all. When “Knock You Down” climbed up the R&B and pop charts, my workload definitely picked up. [...] I can’t complain. When I find myself complaining, I got to tell myself it’s what I wanted. I still love it. [...]

Sounds like an amazing artist that will blow hard in the future !

It is all about shots shots and more shots and just in time for the weekend. With our second track post since birth LMFAO meet up with lil jon have a hit guaranteed to get the party pumping.

Even more we have a remix of an angry SIMON SAYS and an old remixed Radiohead hit PYRAMID SONG. Though some purists may rage at the idea a classic Radiohead song being given a techno remake by Zeds dead Illuminati, you can be assured today there is no shortage of great music.

I saw this movie twice. Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds make a fabulous fake couple. In this movie, a strict and bossy editor-in-chief  named Margaret is going to be deported to Canada, and at the last minute admits she is getting married to her secretary Andrew.

Their imaginary relationship takes them on an adventure to Andrew’s prosperous parents’ house in Sitka, Alaska. They are there to celebrate Gammy’s 90th birthday. While in Alaska, there are several comical scenes, such as when the eagle takes away Margaret’s phone and she holds the dog in the air for him to take instead of the phone. There is the part in which Gammy is chanting in the forest and Margaret joins her, beginning to sing Get Low by Lil’ Jon and the East Boys. “To the window! To the wall! To the sweat drop down my balls! Now all you bitches crawl!” It was hilarious to see Bullock shake her ass around like that – and I’m not being perverted. I lauged out loud as I watched her dance. That scene has become an everlasting inside joke between my friends and I, with which have watched it three times.

However there are also parts of sadness – so it ain’t all happy joy joy. Margaret describes what it was like not to have a family. She feels like she fits with the family after she tries on the traditional wedding dress passed down for several generations. Oh yeah, she also falls out of a boat towards the middle – she can’t swim. There’s also the part where Gammy has a heart attack. They’re on the helicopter. She’s gonna die… I won’t spoil it, I’m gonna shut my big mouth.

The Proposal combines sadness and laughter and creates an excellent film. Five stars, all the way.

The movie is both a tearjerker
