Thought leadership continues to advance the discipline. And occasionally, we dare to challenge the ‘sacred cows’ of our own discipline. In this post we look at the “burning platform” and “Who Moved My Cheese”. This is done respectfully, in recognition that these were advances in their time (but times change) and that every situation is different (just because we have a hammer does not mean every protrusion is a nail). So here we go:

• The “burning platform” (1) relates to John Kotter’s “sense of urgency”(2), however, considering the pace of change that teams are required to deliver today, operating with an ongoing “sense of urgency” is a pace that is not sustainable. It is the equivalent of idling a car at 5000 rpm for weeks on end – the engine will burn out no matter how well maintained. Instead, a different social contract is required of the employer – employee relationship. Such that expectations are re-set. There is no better time than now when the challenges are clearer to the general population to make this transition – as some industries have been forced to (e.g. automotive). A different, measured pace is appropriate – quicker perhaps a speed walking marathon (with all the attendant training and support), but not a sprint marathon.
• “Who Moved My Cheese?”(3), let’s first remember that for its time this book was insightful. However, it was written more than 10 years ago (1998). The reality is that the intuitive message in this seminal work is that it stinks to have change forced on you with no explanation.

Both external and internal environments of organizations have changed dramatically and Change Management thought leadership has advanced with them. The notion that change happens “to us” is often still true. However, current prevailing thought leadership advocates toward the continuum of engaging users in the solutioning process as the optimal way for expediting adoption (reducing resistance).

The world is moving forward and Change Management is advancing with it – are you?

(1) The concept of a burning platform is said to come from the Piper Alpha oil rig catastrophe, a massive explosion and fire in the North Sea off Scotland in 1988. 167 of 229 men died. All that survived had jumped into the frigid North Sea from a height of more than 100 feet. The choice was that of certain death vs potential death. Hence, the burning platform concept requires creating a reason for change so compelling as to suggest no reasonable alternative.

(2) “Leading Change”, John P. Kotter, Harvard Business School Press, Boston, MA, 1996. “Creating a Sense of Urgency” is the first of eight principles of leading change.  Of note, Professor Kotter continues to publish and expand the body of knowledge on Change Management since this publication.

(3) “Who Moved My Cheese”, Spencer Johnson, Penguin Putnam Inc, New York, 2002. This is a wonderful management parable of four characters – Hem and Haw are resistors while Sniff and Scurry are early adopters – who hunt around a maze for cheese. The cheese is not always in the same place so they have to adapt. The one who adapts most quickly documents his insights in ‘the writing on the wall’. It illustrates different reactions to unsolicited change and provides some advice on how to adapt.

Leggo e riporto con piacere che il Salone della pubblica Amministrazione Dire e Fare, concluso sabato 31 ottobre alla Fortezza da Basso di Firenze, ha assegnato il Premio Città Ideale al Comune di Campi Bisenzio per il progetto La Città Visibile 1989-2009 l’immigrazione a Campi Bisenzio dall’emergenza all’ nterazione.

In the olden days of Los Frios the entire town owned a single pair of shoes. When someone needed to go into the nearby city of San Juan they would take the single pair of shoes sling them around their shoulders by the laces and walk to the city. After crossing miles of rough terrain on foot they would reach the final river before entering the city. The rivers name translates from Spanish into English as, ”Wash your feet here.” There the traveler would wash his feet, put the shoes on, and strut proudly into town wearing the borrowed shoes.

Saturday, September 5, 2009 9:45am I stood near the window of the cafe on the second floor overlooking the waiting area at Caribe Tours. Byron would be showing up any minute now. Eight-thirty had turned into nine and finally almost ten o’clock I was beginning to wonder what had happened to him. I went out front to smoke a cigarette finished up and walked back inside the air conditioned terminal to the waiting area on the first floor. At about eight minutes until ten I finally saw him swaggering in with an overstuffed camping pack on his back. As soon as he removed the floppy brown brimmed hat I was absolutely sure.

A couple of German tourists held him up at the airport, he explained. They split a cab into the city so he could drop them off at Pension Quisqueya where he recommended they stay. The fare for the couple came to six hundred Dominican Pesos, they only had eight US Dollars not even enough to cover half of what they owed, no Euros, nothing, just their word. “We can send you money.” They promised. The card he gave them had printed on it, Byron Holcomb, Young Tree Coffee. It would be nice if they would. With just minutes to spare we boarded up the next bus heading North toward San Juan making our way to Los Frios.

A single electric bulb sent sharp deep golden rays shining from the slats in the windows of Antonio’s house.

Saturday, September 5, 2009 6:30pm At near sunset Antonio, Byron’s farm manager and good friend, led us to the edge of one property near his house where the cell phone reception is clearest. The golden light was spilling onto Byron, Antonio, and all of the children following close behind. Another man showed up and the three of them discussed matters of the farm.

The sunset view from where they all stood looked over Byron’s property in the valley below. You could see the tall shade trees in a dense thicket which formed part of his farm. After wards the sun went down and the misty clouds made ghosts of everyone. A single electric bulb sent sharp deep golden rays shining from the slats in the windows of Antonio’s house. Eventually we walked back in the dark Byron lighting up the path with his blueish LED headlamp.

Sunday, September 6, 2009 6:00pm “Euplina is telling me about the way things used to be in Los Frios.” Byron spoke with a wide grin on his face between one of her stories. I was listening politely but do could not understand most of what she was saying I continued eating the dinner that she had cooked for us rice and beans, boiled plantains and yukka. After dinner we all joined Lin, Euplinas husband, in their living room. His broken leg was propped up on the couch covered with a blanket, underneath crude looking bolts and screws were driven deep into the bone like someone had built a scaffolding around his limb with an erector set.

The couple who appeared to be in their sixties recounted old stories about Los Frios concerned that they might bore us. Byron however could spend hours with Lin and Euplina, and he has, having lived in Los Frios for two years as a Peace Corp volunteer. “The first time I met Lin,” Byron likes telling this story, “I thought he was going to shoot me.”

These days Lin who used to break wild horses and mules is recovering from a motorcycle accident from six months ago on one of the muddy steep roads. Euplina offered to heat up some milk for us then disappeared into the kitchen. Byron is like a son to them and he admires and respects them as if they were his own mother and father. He laughed again translating what Euplina had just told him, “She says that some older people complain about the passing of the olden days, they say back then there was no delinquency in society. But she also says, there wasn’t much of anything else either.”

Monday, September 7, 2009 9:00am Antonio was busy pulling up a plant from the ground, it is a tuber or root called rabano it grows the way potatoes do. “He planted this particular root because I like it so much.” Byron proudly told me, “Whenever Antonio pulls up anything he plants two or three more.” After inspecting the root they throw most of it away. “The rats have eaten it.” 

I watched as Antonio hacked away at the thickest branch of the rabano that he had pulled up holding it in the air with one hand slicing off arm length pieces with wedge shaped incisions at either end. The machete was then driven into the ground to dig a shallow hole to insert the branch. Scattered around I could see where other branches had been planted some rabano, mostly yukka, another root that is planted in the same manner.

Our synthetic woven sacks and tin buckets used to collect the coffee were placed on the ground, filled with what we had picked all morning.

Tuesday, September 8, 2009 1:00pm We had been picking coffee all morning, eight workers in a pack scouring each tree by hand, careful to leave the unripe cherries, picking only those that were ready or beyond ready. When coffee is left beyond its optimal time to be picked as a red cherry it will eventually dry on the branch in the sun, it gets shriveled up like a raisin becoming black and hard. Our synthetic woven sacks and tin buckets used to collect the coffee were placed on the ground, filled with what we had picked all morning.

The meal that morning was similar to what we had at every meal on the job, boiled plantains and yukka, rice and beans. For the most part we ate quietly, resting. Byron showed up after most of us had already started eating. “¿Como tú ta?” He asked, everyone replied, “bien” or “muy bien” One of the workers then explained in Spanish how bien is always the answer you will always hear from a Dominican when you ask how they are doing.

Local wisdom dictates that it is best to accept the present state and focus on moving forward. “I learned that lesson early on” Byron later told me about an experience he had years ago. He was visiting, sending his condolences to a Dominican family, friends of his from the area and there they were getting ready to bury the deceased when he greeted them. He says he was shocked and surprised that they could answer him saying things were good.

Thursday, September 10, 2009 1:45pm There were a million tiny pine trees all sprouting tiny little pine needles in a single tassel on a single branch each separated by the tiny round pot it grew in. In a single glance the whole life of the pine flashed before my eyes, trees at every stage of life. A bed of pine cones was laid out in the sun to harvest their seeds they crackled like rice crispy cereal, a steady smoldering snap, crackle, pop.

I returned from wandering around the property and found Byron again. “How much longer?” I asked wondering when the Sur Futuro coffee meeting would be finishing up. ”Two more hours.” he said confidently. “Really?” I asked as more of a question of the existence of an itinerary at all. “It is always two more hours when you are in the Dominican Republic.” He qualified.

Running my hands through my hair it felt course and dry, dusty and ridged.

Thursday, September 10, 2009 5:00pm Traveling up the steep clay and mud road on the bed of a four wheel drive pick-up truck there were about seven people in the back and a few more crammed into the cab. A young man on a motorcycle by the side of the road got the attention of one of the passengers sitting in the back sliding his pointed index finger along the bottom of his neck. The young woman began sobbing.

We got off the truck at Lin’s house he sat a plastic lawn chair on his patio resting his broken leg upon a second chair. It looked like an infection had been spreading. The day before he had to have it re-set because it was not lined up correctly, painfully it had been rebroken. Byron spoke for awhile explaining the significance of the Sur Futuro meeting we were just returning from. Running my hands through my hair it felt course and dry, dusty and ridged.

Lin had already heard about the death, the news of which was just reaching the young woman on the truck. Her younger sister who had been living in the United States was tragically shot when a gun accidentally went off. Lin’s father, Ramoncito a shrinking man with leathery skin who had been quietly standing nearby now joined the conversation. “Machetes are for planting yukka, guns are only for killing.” Byron translated for me.

The sun was setting making the clouds a pinkish salmon tangerine color against the clear blue patches of sky.

Thursday, September 10, 2009 6:50pm We climbed the steep hill to the top where Boliviar’s house is. From up here there is an unobstructed view of the mountains except for the tops of the pine trees and a few small bushes that form a green fence around the small dirt yard. The sun was setting making the clouds a pinkish salmon tangerine color against the clear blue patches of sky. We sat down on five simple wooden chairs Boliviar, his wife, his daughter, Byron, and myself, leaving his young boy standing by curiously watching the conversation.

It was about a copy of a birth certificate that Byron needs to square away some legal paperwork concerning land he has purchased. Byron and Boliviar dance around the subject as I watch a rooster poking his head out of a sack in the shack that is their kitchen wiggling in vain for his freedom as flames dance in the fire pit nearby. On the way back Byron was counting the amount of times has had to ask Boliviar about this paperwork while I was counted the pine tree lined peaks in the distance.

the conversation eventually turned to the weather, the flooding to be more accurate.

Friday, September 18, 2009 9:00pm “I have some terrible news,” he began. I ran into Byron a week after we had returned from the Dominican Republic. This sounded serious, I thought someone had died. “Well, not terrible” he clarified. We had run into each other at the Castleberry Hill art stroll in Southwest downtown Atlanta. “That makes it sounds like something really bad happened.” I was a bit relieved. He continued, ”I got laid off from Counter Culture.” He was still absorbing the shock of it. “What happened?” I asked, this seemed so unexpected. He explained that the company came to the decision to cut four full time positions and he happened to be one of them. He had already begun to tap his network of contacts in search of a new job.

There was not much else to say about the subject that would help and the conversation eventually turned to the weather, the flooding to be more accurate. “The Krog Street tunnel was completely under water.” Someone else in the group was saying. “One poor guy had just moved his family back into their home in cabbage town after finally finishing months of repairs from last years tornado.” His house was now a disaster once again, he has decided to call it quits, sell it for cheap, and move out.

In the DR till November 24th Byrons status update reads. It takes foresight to endure present hardship for an uncertain future yield. In environments so removed from rituals of perseverence time is perceived as a unit that mournfully slips away. “There is no such thing as not enough time.” Byron told me before he left to spend seven weeks back in Los Frios patiently harvesting this years crop of coffee. Agriculture, it is said, provided the means for civilization, that uniquely human phenomenon. Perhaps farming was the first step, the very first human act of faith, it seems an appropriate place to start again. (a)

La tapisserie est d’abord une technique. Les métiers à tisser de l’Antiquité étaient fabriqués avec un cadre de bois horizontal complété de certaines pédales qui permettaient de soulever les fils impairs et pairs. Les tapisseries se tissent à la main sur des métiers spéciaux à chaine verticale (tapisserie de haute lisse) ou à chaine horizontale (tapisserie de basse lisse).   

La matière première principale et la plus souvent utilisée est la laine, un peu de soie et aussi du lin. Au XXème  siécle, on a commencé à utiliser des matériaux synthétiques. En Europe, la grande période de la tapisserie fut le Moyen Age. Elle était alors perçue comme un art utile, situé sur les murs des résidences royales et des églises, et sa fonction de base était la décoration monumentale. Il existe plusieurs types de tapisseries : la tapisserie classique, la tapisserie industrielle et la nouvelle tapisserie.

Dans la nouvelle tapisserie sont utilisés des matériaux conventionnels et aussi non-conventionnels : la laine, le lin, le sisal, la fourrure, la ficelle, le cordage, le bois, le métal, la pierre, le plastique et quantités de fibres synthétiques. L’artiste peut faire variations de texture à l’infini, parce qu’il y a diverses possibilités d’entrelacement des fils et des matériaux utilisés. En utilisant des matériaux différents, on peut jouer avec la structure, la spatialité, le volume de la tapisserie ; aussi, la technique de la tapisserie peut être utilisée dans une installation, une sculpture, de la céramique, etc.

Quelques-uns des artistes qui ont utilisé cette technique, cette forme d’art, au fil des années, sont les suivants : Victor Vasarely, Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Joan Miro, Goshka Macuga, Pae White, Joel Andrianomearisoa (voir la vidéo de TV5 monde), Chuck Close…

Choose the ‘Files’ Tab and click on the ‘Support File Search path’ Node to expand it.

Click once on the first path you see to select it, click again to edit it – But Don’t edit it! Just right click and choose copy.

İzlediğim o güzel ve spoiler dolu açılışa dair bir sürü şey karalamıştım. Az önce blog’da yaşadığım bir problem nedeni ile hepsini kaybettim. Tekrardan aynı şeyleri yazmak istemediğim için kısaca özetliyorum. İdare edin arkadaşlar…

Metal kolunu havaya doğru kaldırmış Ed’in metal yumruğunu yere vurmasının ardından öfke içerisinde ayağa fırlaması ve karşısındaki Humonculus’lara doğru delice koşması esnasında gözümüze takılan o enfes sahneyi kaç kişi fark etti?

Envy’nin önünde duran Humonculus’ları tanıdınız mı? İşte orada… Lin… Ya da Greed mi demeliyim? Karşınızda…

Lin’in bu değişimi önümüzdeki bölümde -henüz izlemedim ama 27. bölümün bir geriye dönüş, flashback bölümü olacağını okumuştum bir yerde- gerçekleşeceğini düşünüyorum. En fazla bir ya da iki bölüm içerisinde göreceğiz.

Açıkçası açılış parçası ile görüntülerin uyumunu çok beğendim. Yepyeni karakterler ve geçmişin izlerini açılışta bir arada gördük. Bolca Hughes ve Kimberly yer alıyordu. Elric kardeşler’in ve Humonculus’ların babalarını o karizmatik pozları ile izledik. Açıkçası çok güzel bir açılış ile daha karşılaştık…

Ha, now I’m back with he review! What? I did say today, not when today. I do have a little of a life! I made  a quiz. . .

But let’s gooo.

It starts with that something that looks like lightning flashed down, far away from Greed/Lin, and it also seems like that earth is shaking you get to see some of the other characters, all with a surprised(could not think of a better word) look on there faces.

Then the scene changes to Greed/Lin and Bradlys fight. Greed/Lin twitches when the flash appears and looses focus and bradly is able to take the control over the fight. He attempts to throw Greed/Lin over railing and into the water but he falls in the proses.

Greed/Lin does get a grin on the railing but with Bradly hanging on he cant get up and he looses his grip.

But in the last second Ran-Fan manage to take Lins hand. He tells her to let go, that mer aoutomail can’t hold that weight, she says that it’s her duty to protect him. Greed tells her to take care of the old man.

And here. Comes one of the greates moments in this chapter, I just have to have the whole page. Looks better that way. : )

She tells Lin that it’s to late, meaning that he is already dead, of at lest bond saving. Of course she’s sad! It’s her grandfather. I have come to like Huu (of Fuu that I usaly call him. ) more this lates chapters He’s kinda cool, for being that old. And when Lin opens his eyes wide, I know that I sqiuked(?).

What’s that expression on his face called? Not surprised right? Well, he must have been surprised over that Ran-Fan cried. But I bet that he’s upset about Huu as well. Despair maybe? no, not quite the right word. Let’s move on. . .

After that Ran-Fan called over to the Briggs that just arrived at the scene. One was helping Ran-Fan to hold up while that other one was taking a shoot at bradly. But before he got to doing that Bradly throw (the rest) of his sword towards him. It didn’t hit him (the shooter) but he got distracted and missed Bradly. But Bradly still lost his grip on Greed and fell into the water.

And this panel make me think that this is not the last we get to see of him. But, isn’t that hole a little to small for a grown man, not? But by the look on his face! He could kill with that look!

Lin gets over the railing and hurries to Huu, Yelling/asking if there is any doctors that can use alchemy nearby, that he got a philosophers stone to use.

“This country’s the capital of alchemy, right? Isn’t there anyone!? why?”

He just gets more desperate and gets shot trough his head, Ran-fan tells him to get down. And he does, but the way he goes down is like the way desperate persons do. In manga/anime anyway. He kinda sinks down. Like it’s the end. Nothing more to do.

And the pics with Lin looking like it’s the end of the world is many in this chapter. Don’t think that I can count them on my fingers. . .

But I get him. It’s just like he says in the panel above.  He wanted that body, that immortal body, so that everyone would be safe. So that he could save them. Make them immortal.

After his little breakdown he turns to Bucaneer, who’s not feeling so great either, and says that he’s sorry and can’t save him either.

Buanner responds by telling him that he has nothing to be sorry for, that they where able to land a blow on Bradly tanks to him, and that thanks to him Huu didn’t die in vain.

And then the briggs send their last bomb(?) away and yells that they can’t hold much longer. Then Bucanner asks Lin to protect the gate, just like “their queen” (Oliver) told them to, cause he is the only one who can.

Then I think that something light up inside of him. When he looks at the briggs dudes and Ran-fan, who has a sad look on her eyes. (the only thing that can be seen) And he knows, that he is the only one that can get them out of there alive.

Lin awakes and Tell Greed to give him power. Greed, having the afternoon of decides to give it to him.

That look on Lin’s face, look likes the faces of those who is out after revenge, Hey! It’s just like Roy looked when he was facing Envy!

Anyway, he orders Ran-Fan to protect the people there and when Bucanneer asks if Greed will help he replies by “Yeah. You have my word, and the Xingse always keeps their words.”  And then he goes Greed/super armor.

Before attacking the mass he kindly asks those do had a family, lover or doesn’t want to get hurt to back of. And he also tells the women to step down, he prefers not to hit women.

But, as expected, they doesn’t listed to his warnings and they attack him. And of course Greed attacked without inhibition. But, it seemed like he didn’t kill anyone, not on purposes anyway. Well, Lin is not he one that would like to kill people that doesn’t really know that what they’re doing is wrong.

They solders don’t know that the military is corrupted so of course they’ll attack the weird/intruding one!

He doesn’t even give in to it when a truck tries to run him over. He just stand there and the truck goes nowhere.

Okej, here’s the deal. It’s late now and I have review over half the chapter 30 pages and I’m tired and will have to get up kinda early tomorrow so i will end this now and call it part one. I doesn’t really want to do that but I think that it will be better if I wait. And this is over 1000 words!And I usually writes that much for the whole chapter so I think it would be too long id i continued.

But I might have time to write on the morning, probably not, but I will have the second part ready tomorrow evening/night.

Take a look at that image.  So very soothing and as you stare it makes you think sometimes of what life is all about, about all these random thoughts that sometimes pop into our head on the way to the grocery mart, work, or just driving for long periods of time.  Your mind begins to drift to what was, is and could be.  After working in healthcare for 7 years and seeing life begin as well as end I wonder is this all there is?

This blog is going to be a venue for all my thoughts of grand subjects as described above down to very specific everyday things such as my hobbies and how-to’s.  The how-to part is also one of the reasons I began this blog as Google search engines cache WordPress pages too.  Not to mention, the WordPress is completely awesome.  I feel like I’m working on a Mac, but online.  I love the drop downs and the simplicity of it all.  WordPress seems so far to be the best blog I’ve used.  Before this was xanga, and before this was livejournal.com which i know is still very much alive because my college creative writing teacher had her entire syllabus on it.

The last reason for this blog is to try something different.  English teachers in high school and college always told us to write write write – then when finished with one composition notebook to write write write again.  The unending process of jotting down one’s thoughts as they materialize help faciliate brain growth and creativity.  I’ve fallen victim to the twitter based society of our time where as soon as one thinks one uploads.  Much more on that at a later date but I still will be using twitter.  Follow me, will ya? www.twitter.com/caleb_lin

There’s so many things going on in this world that we can’t all be a part of so this is my attempt to share the part which involves me.  I’m have this feeling of wanting to end like how Gossip Girl does thanks to all the influences at my volunteer squad.  MrWordPressor out.

Check out this video made during the opening of the UCLA/Getty Conservation Program’s exhibition this spring. The exhibit, which was held at UCLA’s Young Research Library, featured Native American objects from the collection of the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum. Students from the class of 2010 worked on the objects as part of the course entitled “Ethnography and Conservation” taught by Prof. Ellen Pearlstein. In the video, Prof. Pearlstein and several of the students discuss the exhibit and the work undertaken researching and treating the objects, as well as preparing the exhibit itself.

Glattony; Ed ve Lin’i tabiri caizse yuttuğunda sahte kapıdan geçerek bambaşka bir yere gelmişlerdi. Buradan hiçbir çıkışları olmadığını düşünmeye başladıklarında ise Envy’nin de Glattony tarafından yutulduğunu fark etmişler ve İshbal yıkımının sorumlusunun Envy olduğunu öğrendiklerinde ise onunla, kısa süre sonunda da Envy’nin gerçek formuyla büyük bir savaşa girişmişlerdi.

Böyle bir savaşta yenilmek kaçınılmazdı…

Edward, Envy’de hapsolan ruhları gördüğünde kendi karamsarlığında kaybolmuş bir şekilde yutulurken her şeyin farkına vardı ve Envy’i oradan onları çıkartabileceğine ikna ederek kendisini sindirmeden durdurdu.

Kısa süre sonra açıklamalar ile başbaşaydı ve açıklamaların ulaştığı son nokta; sahtesi ile içeriye girdik, gerçeğini açarak dışarıya çıkabiliriz şekildeydi.

Ve işte o anda… Kaderin onu ulaştırdığı o anda Edward Elric yıllar sonra ilk defa tekrardan kapıyı açtı. Envy’nin bedenine hapsettiği ruhların bir kısmını feda ederken Lin’in geçmesini sağladı ve kendisini kapının önünde, arkasında başka bir kapı ile dururken, iki kapı arasında bembeyaz olan o boşlukta buldu.

Ve işte o oradaydı…

Alponse’un zayıflamış, ruhsuz bedeni orada oturuyor, sanki kapının açılmasını ve ruhunun oradan gelmesini bekliyordu. Ama orada ruh yoktu… Orada Ed vardı. Kardeşi… Yinede… Beden onunla gelemezdi…

Kapı Ed’i içeriye çekerken Al sadece ona bakıyordu. Belki bir gün ruhu gelip onu alırdı; ama bu gün, o gün değildi…

İşte o müthiş anda Edward demir yumruğu ile üzerine kapanan kapıyı tekrar açtı ve bir gün onu geriye almak için geleceğine dair tekrardan yemin etti.

Anime ilk başladığında bazı kişiler animeyi hiç beğenmediğini defalarca dile getirmiş, onu lekelemeye çalışmışlardı. Şimdi ise animenin geldiği nokta bu… Mangayı bile filler’e dönüştüren, sindirmemize izin vermeden, sert yumruklar atarak, bizi duvardan duvara çarparak ilerleyen bir anime için çok söze gerek yok…

Heute sah ich mir die Gaspard Yurkievich Show im Carousel du Louvre an, die zwar schön, aber doch eher nicht weltbewegend war. Aufregender waren da schon die Zuschauer, für die es sich immer lohnt, eine Modenschau zu besuchen. Unter anderem traf ich Mahret, die ebenfalls mit Kamera bewaffnet auf Inspirationsfang ging. Verliebt habe ich mich in einen silberenen Blazer, den eine Dame mit einer lässigen Levi’s kombinierte, die auch bei uns im Laden in der Männerabteilung als Limited Edition  zu haben ist. Wenn ich wieder in Frankfurt bin, werde ich gleich mal schauen, wie mir die Hose steht. Nach einem wunderbaren Zwischenstopp mit einem Gläschen Champagner bei unserem Frankfurter Lieblingsbrand LIN, bei dem ich die neusten Glitzerschals für die nächste Saison auswählte, machte ich mich auf zu American Retro, die für diese Weihnachten noch ein paar neue Stücke vorstellt. Das silberne Paillettenkleid stand sofort auf der Einkaufsliste!
