Two-time Tony Award Winning Actress Christine Ebersole knows how to entertain whether it’s Broadway, cabaret, television, or  feature films. On Broadway, she has won two Tony Awards for “Lead Actress in a Musical” for “42nd Street” & “Grey Gardens” and was nominated for “Lead Actress in a Play” for “Dinner At Eight.” She made her Broadway debut in “Angel Street” in 1976. La Dra. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) tiene un pasado con Owen (Kevin McKidd), el cual indudablemente creará futuros problemas para Owen y Cristina (Sandra Oh).

En una entrevista con TV Guide, Kim Raver analiza al nuevo triangulo amoroso, cuenta cuanto tiempo estará y sobre la posibilidad de su regreso a 24 para reunirse con Jack Bauer.

P: Cuentanos sobre la Dra. Teddy Altman

Kim Raver: Ella es excelente en lo que hace. Viene llegando de Irak. Ella y Owen estuvieron en Irak juntos. Yo llegó al Seatle Grace y hay algunos intereses de por medio.

Kim Raver: Yo definitivamente tengo una debilidad romantica por Audrey y Jack. Si este es el último año, esperaría que hubiera una especie de reunion. Ese además es un programa en que que nunca sabes hasta que sabes que no sabes, ¿Sabes? Crees que es una cosa y luego es una cosa completamente diferente. Pero que si ¿he filmado algo aún? No.

No han terminado de grabar aún, asi que tendremos que esperar y ver que pasa.

Schreibe einen Brief an ihn. Ewige Zeilen, die ich ihm vermutlich nie zeigen werden und gerade jetzt, wo ich es “ausschreibe”, weiß ich doch, dass ich es tun werde, da ich die Konfrontation hasse, sie aber auch mich und es also unumgänglich zu sein scheint.

Denke an den hübschen Typen von Lipstick Jungle, Robert Buckley, ein hübscher junger Mann, ein Mann, bei dem ich sagen würde, dass das sogar mein Typ ist. Und das sage ich im Jahr vielleicht max. 2 Mal bei Typen…

Denke an meinen Exfreund. Eigentlich war er nix für mich, aber gleichzeitig doch perfekt – die Zeit war einfach noch nicht reif für das uns.

Denke ständig an Sex, der mir je denn mehr fehlt… Ich weiß, Du legst nicht soviel Wert auf Sex, aber er ist für mich der gewisse Unterschied, der unsere Beziehung von meinen Freundschaften trennt. Habe jetzt auch gelesen, dass das Sexualhormon bei Männern in längeren Beziehung nachlässt, um “das Rudel nicht zu gefährden”. Aber es wird gefährdet. Und wie.

Und ich schreibe und schreibe. Habe über den jetzigen Teil das Datum gesetzt, vermutlich, weil ich mir vorstelle, dass da noch mehr kommt. Worte, die mir sonst fehlen. Wenn wir reden. Oder schon geredet haben.

1) Arrested Development — This show was hilarious! There were rumors going around about an Arrested Development movie, but I haven’t heard anything about it in a while. There is an Arrested Development Documentary (see trailer below) but I think if people didn’t watch the show, getting them to watch a documentary about the show is a bit of a stretch. Thankfully you can still catch season 1 of this show on hulu (but not seasons 2 or 3).

2)Lipstick Jungle — I miss my girl TV night! I used to watch this show on my husband’s late night at work. I’ve been watching Eastwick since then, but it’s not nearly as juicy. This show is also up on hulu but only for another year. (PS I also enjoyed the book though it has a completely different tone from the TV show)

3)Traveler — A short-lived action-packed show with interesting twists and turns that they ruined by airing during early summer and then quickly cancelling. Lame.

Idag fikk eg endelig sovet ut!! Kjempeglad og fornøyd, det var jammen meg på tide Sov heilt til 12:30. Når eg våknet lagte eg meg ein lett frokost og stakk ner til bassengkanten for å lese sitt psykologi og sole meg. Solte meg i 1,5 timer før det begynte å komme litt skyer og eg fant ut eg skulle gi meg for dagen. Etterpå lagte eg middag og såg 3 episoder av Lipstick Jungle.. elske det programmet !! ♥ Har ikje så veldig mye å gjør her i Spania for tiden.. går for det meste i soling, lesing og soving. Me begynte som sagt med den beste foreleseren først og etter det har det bare gått nedover … Foreleseren vår i psykologi var så fæl at du kan bare glemme at eg ska på skolen mer denne uken.. ånei du! No chance in hell.. Akkurat som om me blir mer motiverte av å ha så sinsykt dårlige forelesere? Eg tror de har misforstått en liten ting .. Trodde de skulle engasjere studentene med å ville lære någe eg, men kanskje det e eg som har misforstått? Ikje vet eg ..

I kveld blir det vel kanskje ein episode til med Lipstick Jungle før eg hoppe te sengs.. Nå ryke snart batterien på pc’en og så e vel kanskje på tide eg komme meg opp i leiligheten..

R: Lo siento, pero Raver definitivamente será un obstaculo para Cristina y Owen. Lo que no debería sorprenderles, es que ella no será el primer obstaculo en el camino.

Se rumorea que se verá chispas entre Yang y el nuevo del Mercy West, Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) en el episodio del 5 de noviembre, una semana antes de que Teddy (Kim Raver) llegue.

General Smelectric announced weaker-than-expected earnings on Friday, causing the stock to plummet 4%.  Despite lower revenues and a $1 billion pre-tax loss in General Smelectric’s Capital/Leaky Faucet unit, CEO Jeff Immelting tried to reassure investors.

“We’re staying disciplined in our investment approach,” Immelting said.  “By focusing our expertise on government lobbying, windmill manufacturing, and hoping more old people get sick, we’re sure to come out of this recession strong.”  CFO Keith Caslove cited high expectations for the post-recession future: ” Our internal estimates suggest that 2014 will be a boom year for us.”

Immelting and Caslove also discussed the rumors surrounding its beleaguered media unit, NBZ Universal.  While they offered no specifics as to General Smelectric’s plan, many analysts were tipped off when Immelting only referred to NBZ in the past tense.  “It has been a solid performer,” Immelting said, choking back tears.  “I really enjoyed Lipstick Jungle.“

Caslove added that while NBZ has been a core piece of General Smelectric in the past, “Realistically, it’s always been on the chopping block.  Kind of like Robin in Top Chef.”  NBZ revenue was down 20% versus last year.

Gillar du Sex and the City? Då bara måste du läsa den här underbara boken som utspelar sig i New York med fyra vackra och till synes framgångsrika kvinnor i huvudrollerna. De här damerna gör i stort sett vad som helst för att uppnå högre status, men vänskapen överger de inte.
Humor blandas med en bra handling och den här boken blir aldrig tråkig.

Con la muerte de George O’Malley al comienzo de temporada, el hospital Seattle Grace ha experimentado un vacio…o debemos decir “una vacante”?

Gracias a la fusion, los nuevos residentes serán abundantes muy pronto.

Y, como les dije anteriormente, Kim Raver es la ultima adquisición del programa, y la ultima en unirse a la repleta fila.

El credito de Raver, incluye a 24, Third watch y mas recientemente Lipstick Jungle, serie que fue cancelada, luego de 20 episodios, por una sorpresiva baja en la audiencia.

La adicion de una conocida actriz como Raver, puede implicar un aumento en la audiencia, la cual ha estado algo menor a lo normal en estas ultimas temporadas.

Luego de alcanzar un pick en la tercera temporada con una cantidad de 21.3 millones de televidentes por episodio, los rating de Grey’s Anatomy han ido decayendo, y se han mantenido en el rango entre 13 y 15 millones (dependiendo tipicamente de quien esta por morir), aunque aun se mantiene entre los programas top 10.

Nota interna: este sitio alcanzo su pick maximo con el gancho de la temporada, estrenada en sony, en el cual obtuve 12.724 visitas en un solo dia.

Es probable, que Raver no tenga mucho tiempo en pantalla con las dos mujeres más fuertes y lideres del programa, como resultado de la salida de Ellen Pompeo y Katherine Heigl, quienes se perderan un trozo decente de tiempo en esta temporada.

Con estas dos literalmente fuera de la imagen, la tarea de Raver será continuar con la tradicion del programa, y ser una mujer fuerte y lider… Para mejor o peor, dependiendo de si les agrada o no.

El casting de Raver viene acompañado de las noticias de que Jesse Williams de Greek y la actriz veterana Martha Plimpton se uniran al elenco por un episodio multiple.

Grey’s Anatomy esta teniendo un resurgimiento en esa 6 temporada, o tan solo esta tomando medidas preventivas y tratando de mantener a la audiencia?

Dao el triangulo amoroso entre Cristina-Owen, la cirujana Raver servira como el antidotopara un programa que puede estar sufriendo una falta de personajes de peso?

Grey’s Anatomy ha enlistado a la ex de Jack Bauer y protagonista de Lipstick Jungle para entrometerse en el romance de Owen y Cristina, según Entertaintmen Weekly.

Fuentes confirman que Grey’s Anatomy ha contratado formalmente a la heroína de 24 Kim Raver, para unirse al nuevo elenco del Seattle Grace, como una cirujana y una posible interesada en el Dr. Owen Hunt.

En Agosto, Kevin McKidd dijo algunos spoilers de Grey’s, diciendo que algo grande iba a voltear el closet de Owen en esta temporada de cambios.

“Algo llega al hospital con el que él estuvo conectado en su pasado, no es su ex-comprometida, sino que alguien que no esperábamos,” dijo el actor en una entrevista con E! Online.

“Creo que se puede volver algo dificil, por decir menos, pero tambien emocionante e interesante.”

“Esperemos que haya a Owen y Cristina mas cercanos, al final de cuentas.”

Ok, now that the fall season of television has started, I will give my review on the new shows that I have watched.

Melrose Place

Despite the negative reviews that MP 2.0 has received, I am loving the new show.  The cast dynamic is excellent, and shock of shocks, Ashley Simpson-Wentz can really act.  If I were to compare it to the original Melrose Place Season One, the new Melrose Place wins hands down so far because the storylines are more interesting.

Modern Family

The pilot episode of Modern Family was okay but after attempting to watch the second episode, I found myself bored with Modern Family.  None of the characters are really that funny, and Ed O’ Neill seems like he’s playing an older Al Bundy.

Cougar Town

This show has a great premise and the pilot episode was hilarious but the show seemed to go downhill in the second episode.  Courtney Cox is great in this show.  I have to say that it is interesting to see her play a divorced woman in her 40s.  They need to lose the neighbors and the ex-husband.  Those characters bring nothing interesting to the show.

Flash Forward

J.J. Abrams has done it again.   Flash Foward pulls you in from the first moment and you are on the edge of your seat the entire hour.  I also love that ABC has put up the Mosiac Collective website that was created on the show is up at the Flash Forward section of ABC.com.  This website brings an interesting synergy to the show.

Glee

Aside from Melrose Place, this is the best new show of the season.  There is so much about Glee that makes it a hit.  Glee uses biting satirical commentary when it comes to high school cliques.   Hearing some of the hit songs from the past 20 years performed in a much different way is interesting in itself.  Also, Corey Monteith (Finn Hudson) is very hot.

Eastwick

Based upon the book, The Witches of Eastwick by John Updike, Eastwick is about three women who come into great powers and soon learn those powers come at a price.  Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, and Jaime Ray Newman are impressive as the three main characters, but let’s hope Eastwick does not fall prey to the curse that befell the other shows Lindsay Price was in, Coupling and Lipstick Jungle, both of which were cancelled.

Wir haben Mittwoch.Nein haben wir nicht,wir haben Freitag, aber nur mal angenommen wir hätten Mittwoch.Außerdem ist 20.15 Uhr und nicht 22.15 Uhr,wie jetzt gerade. Also angenommen wir hätten Mittwoch und es wäre 20.15 Uhr, was würde jede Frau ( und natürlich Mann) mit Geschmack genau in dieser Minute tun?Genau! Sich vor die Flimmerkiste schmeißen, das Telefon ausstellen und jedem sagen, dass man absolut NICHT gestört werden möchte. Denn es ist, wie es vermutlich alle mittlerweile wissen, Mittwoch-Abend und es laufen die mit Abstand besten Serien der ganzen Woche. Nicht nur irgendwelche Serien, nein, es laufen DIE Serien.

Desperate Housewifes. Ein absolutes Muss, wenn man mich fragt, Lügen,Intrigen,Liebe, alles was Frau will.

Und dann geschah das, wovon Frau nur träumen kann: ProSieben schenkte uns eine andere, noch viel heißere Serie, von der man nicht die Finger lassen kann: Lipstick Jungle! Und wieder ist diese Serie ausgestattet mit Lügen, Intrigen, Liebe und was vorallem für mich eine totale Bereicherung ist, jede Menge Sex und heiße Typen!Was will man mehr?!

Kann ich euch sagen:

Ich will genau diesen Mann!!! Allein die Vorstellung, von diesem Mann geküsst zu werden, seine Arme um deinen Körper zu spüren…ahhh…einfach traumhaft!Aber Schluss mit den nicht ganz jugenfreien Fantasien und zurück zur Realität, denn in der müssen wir schließlich leben. Ich jedenfalls bin bereit für meinen ganz persönlichen Kirby…und wer weiß, vielleicht taucht er schneller auf als man denkt. Und in der Zwischenzeit, tobe ich mich einfach weiter bei anderen Adonissen aus…vielleicht entpuppt sich ja einer von denen als wahrer Kirby…so auf dem zweiten Blick…

Die Hoffnung stirbt ja bekanntlich zuletzt.Aber nicht vergessen: Wer zu hohe Ansprüche hat, geht am Ende leer aus, und das meine ich wörtlich!
