My new idol nih Penyanyi sekaligus penulis lagu (nasyid) ini lahir di Iran, bulan Juli tahun 1980. Album yang telah diluncurkan oleh Sami Yusuf sejak tahun 2003 adalah “Al-Mu’allim” (2003) yang berisi 8 track nasyid, “My Ummah” (2005) yang berisi 14 track nasyid, kemudian “Without You” (2009) yang berisi 11 track nasyid. Selain itu, Sami Yusuf pernah membuat soundtrack film The Kite Runner pada tahun 2007. Walaupun album OST The Kite Runner tidak terealisasi, namun “Supplication” (lagu yang dibuat oleh Sami Yusuf) menjadi much-loved element di film ini
