This morning we said “Adios” to our tiny apartment in lovely Madrid.  Thanks to Mr.Squish, we were up long before the necessary time.  The metro trip to Airport terminal 1 cost me 8 euros due to a 10 trip ticket which only produced 9 trips, the purchase of a new (wrong) ticket, then the right one, then the required extra fee for going to the airport (which it turns out was the ticket I bought in the first place, but now had to buy another).   797 more words
