My friend recently took her son fishing!

Right here in Kingston…. ok ok it was Old Harbour

but my point is really that she didnt have to go onto a boat to let her son experience or go for a 2 hour drive or longer.

I especially like the idea of not going on  a boat and still being able to fish.

Little’s Hobby Hut Fish Farm is located just off of Old Harbour road.

According to my friend you can bring your own fishing rod or you can rent from there.

You stand on a nice sturdy pier and just fish. You pay for only what you catch.

You also have the option to have the fish cooked there.

Doesn’t this sound fabulous.

In my friend’s words- “We had a great day and the smile on my son’s  face was…. priceless.”

I look forward to sharing this fishing experience with the children.
