Another one from Kingston! this time Blak Randy takes the stage; Enjoy

(On the 7th November 2009 I travelled down to Surrey with Jon and filmed another of his Drop nights. It was the first time operating both cameras on my own, pretty hectic but I managed fine! I have so much footage that I have been able to edit quite a few little videos out of it!!)

Boy Futur est un jeune homme à surveiller de très près. Il y a pas grand chose à dire sur ses prod, elles ont toutes ce petit truc qui fait que ça marche. La dernière fois que je l’ai croisé il m’a dit qu’il bossait sur un live, et bien vous êtes chanceux car le voici ce fameux live, 35 min de plaisir tolal! Je ne peux que vivement vous conseillez d’aller le voir en live si il passe près de chez vous. Il sera le 27 novembre à l’Esca à Huy pour la soirée de son label Liege’s Burning Down Rec.

I haven’t found too many live recordings of Topspeed floating around, so I thought I should post this as soon as I found it.  Earlier this week, Speed performed his turntable trickery for a gang of people at the Melody Inn.  Flawless per usual, this is more evidence as to why Topspeed deserves to be a Grand Master.

Fin d’une semaine agitée. Je ne serais finalement pas de la partie à l’I Love Techno, dommage j’aurais bien voulu revoir quelques trucs. Je me console en pensant à la Soulwax-mas qui se déroulera le 19 décembre à la LottoArena d’Anvers. On y retrouvera 2 many dj’s live, Soulwax live mais aussi Tiga, Erol Alkan, Mixhell et Aeroplane. Un beau petit programme dans une belle salle. En cadeau un mix assez particuliers de boys noize intitulé “radio soulwax mix” enregistrer le 28-09-09 (vous aurez le cd si vous achetez l’album “Power”). Une playlist pas si surprenante quand on voit  l’essential-mix qu’il vient de sortir.

This is an absolute mammoth of a clip from YouTube (clocking in at over two and a half hours).   This is the full set from New Order performing at the 2006 Personal Fest in Buenos Aires.  My god, it’s good!  despite taking about five minutes to get started, it’s well worth checking out.

simply great is the only way I can describe this performance from the funky metal rockers known as Incubus.  Enjoy!

In the summer of 2003 a band I loved in my youth called Radiohead headlined the pyramid stage at Glastonbury Festival.   I remember sitting watching this on TV and being totally stunned by just how good this performance actually was! And, amazingly enough I’ve been able to find the entire set on YouTube (which contains almost 90 minutes worth of music with pretty much zero filler – all the bands big hit songs are right here in this concert) Enjoy!!!
