New Super Mario Bros.  Wii släpps på fredag. Nu börjar recensionerna på spelet komma ut och det ser riktigt riktigt bra ut. Gamereactor gav det en 8:a och en 9:a i andra åsikt. Loading gav det en 9:a. Och det ligger för tillfället på 87 på Metacritic.

När Nintendo utannonserade New Super Mario Bros. Wii på E3 i år blev jag lite skraj är de sa att fyra personer kommer att kunna spela tillsammans. Jag tänkte då att det inte skulle vara så optimerat för enspelarläget men det verkar ju av recensionerna att döma vara riktigt bra även det läget.

Jag har ju bara en Wii Remote och inga av dem jag känner gillar Wii särskilt mycket så kommer nog bli svårt att samla ihop ett gäng och spela det. Och så inget onlineläge.

Men det nog bli kul att spela ensam också, om jag inte hittar någon i Göteborgstrakten som också gillar Mario och vill spela med mig?

På fredag släpps det alltså och förhoppningsvis kan jag få lite tid över så att jag kan klämma in det här mellan alla andra spel som jag vill spela.

2. Ketikkan : Del C:\Windows\Prefetch\*.* /Q

3. klik Save atau Ctrl + S ;

4. Tutup Notepad ;

5. Klik Start > Run .. > Ketik gpedit.msc > OK ;

6. Double Klik Windows Setting ;

7. Pilih Scripts (Starup/Shutdown) ;

8. Double klik Startup ;

9. Pilih Add ;

10. Ketik c:\cepat.bat > lalu OK ;

11. Klik Apply > lalu OK ;

12. Sekarang Double klik Shutdown > Ulangi langkah no. 9 s/d 11 seperti pada Scripts untuk Startup ;

13. Setelah selesai tutup Group Policy ;

14. Restart komputer kita ;

15. Selesai.

This article from FTS on Fat Loading left an impression on me, and it just intuitively made sense to me. If we’re constantly feeding our bodies high levels of protein – with the goal of helping the body repair muscle fibers – the body’s metabolic engine will become very efficient at using protein for energy. It will do this by producing more protein-utilizing enzymes and building up those nutrient pathways. It will use protein as a main source of energy, since it will be “primed” to break down those kinds of nutrients.

Conversely, by limiting our fat intake as we’ve been told to do for so many years, our bodies have become less efficient at using it as an energy source, actually slowing down the fat-burning processes that we’re trying to enhance!

So the idea behind fat loading is to force the body to produce the fat-burning enzymes – in effect, to get it to “remember” how to use fat for energy. This is accomplished by ingesting high amounts of dietary fats in tandem with high levels of amino acids. The dietary fats enable the body’s fat-utilizing processes. The amino acids serve to appear to the body as a large volume of food – but because they have little caloric value, they do not provide much energy when burned, and the metabolism will shift over to the next freely available resource – the dietary fat you just ingested.

What this is supposed to do is kick-start the fat-burning metabolic processes that are most likely not running at their highest in most people, due to mostly sedentary lifestyles (sitting at a desk 8+ hours a day) and high protein intakes.

Obviously we still need to keep our protein intakes high, assuming that we’re exercising regularly and intensely. According to this research, fat loading should only be done once a week – the day after a leg workout is suggested to be ideal.

Idag kunde jag smyga in på Reset Media-redaktionen och hämta upp nya numret av Level, färskt från tryckpressarna. På sidan 21 gör nämligen jag Level-debut med en miniliten pyssel-artikel. Kikar man in på Loading hittar man också en Pysselblogg under redaktionsbloggarna. Vi får helt enkelt se hur det här artar sig, men det var på tiden att det dök upp ett tjejnamn i tidningen, om än bara på ett litet pysselhörn.

Givetvis bloggar jag vidare här också, men jag gillar Level och hoppas kunna inspirera massvis med gamers med rolig, fiffiga och fantastiska pyssel! High five på det, eller vad?

Workers loading wagons at Henley and Sons Cider Workshop at Newton Abbot in Devon.

Newton Abbot is a market town in Devon, England on the River Teign, with a population of 23,580 (2001 census).

Newton Abbot has a racecourse and boasts three country parks: Decoy, Stover (situated well away from the town) and Bradley. Part of Newton Abbot’s heritage is the historic Cheese and Onion Fayre, originally held from the 5th to 7th of November in honour of Saint Leonard, but now celebrated at the beginning of September. The town grew very rapidly in the Victorian era as it was home to the South Devon Railway locomotive works. This later became a major steam engine shed and was retained to service British Railways diesel locomotives, although it has now closed and is the site of an industrial estate.

The Newton Abbot Cider Bar is a gem which shouldn’t be missed by anyone visiting this lovely part of South Devon.

I’m currently sitting here – at work – waiting for a series of desktops/laptops to finish scanning/installing/updating and I’m wondering why people do it. Why do people work? What else do we get from it?

Now, obviously most people work because they need money. I realise that, it almost goes without saying, but surely there are other reasons as well. I also understand that it is no doubt different for each individual. So what other reasons are there? Pondering over this I came up with the following list:

* Money – for necessities
* Money – for luxuries
* To keep ourselves busy, combatting boredom
* For the comradeship and the company
* To feel useful
* To fulfill our desires to ‘achieve’

Alright, so the list isn’t exactly exhaustive, or necessarily in order, but it’s a start. A spark to (hopefully) ignite some interesting thought. Also, one of the computers needs my attention…

Tadi sore waktu sy mau sempatkan diri ngapdet blog yg lain dan itung2 berlatih seo pelan pelan, ternyata membuat sy lmyn darah tinggian juga, hampir aja stress dan maki2 komputer sy. xi.xi Apalagi kalo bukan kesal akibat loading lambat dan super lambat.

Klo gak salah, td ada 2 blog yg mau d apdet bentar, krn memang sy tau klo blog itu masih kesulitan banget untuk di index. Jd sy putusin de buat ngapdet kedua duanya. Walah, ditengah jalan kok susah banget mau login aja. Kayak sesak napas gitu. 1 blog aj sy itung2 lbh dari 10 menit baru bisa dibuka. Yah, berhubung dah emosian. Di tutup aj lgs browsernya, gak pake logout. Maklum rasa kesal lg muncak.

Pdhl niat cm ngasih bantuan aj, biar bisa keindex. Tpnya gak disambut dgn baik. Entah yg salah internet sy ato si penyedia blog gratis itu, sy ga tw pasti de. Namun kykny, sistem mreka yg kacau gitu. Internet sy lumayan cepat juga, walapun ga kencang2 banget.

Udahlah, entar mala dosa lg bicarain orang lain, sy cabut dl yak. Postingan ini murni gak ada niat jatuhin pihak tertentu, cuma pelampiasan rasa kesal akibat loading lambat aja. Itung2 juga menambah jumlah post. Bye

For about the last week and a half the internet access from my house has suddenly started to run with all the speed of a geriatric and infirmed snail.  It’s taking a minute or more for each page to load and that takes all the joy out of internet surfing.  It’s a good thing I’ve had plenty of cleaning to be getting on with because on some occasions I’ve undertaken two tasks at once – uploading another of my photos to the web and then going off to do a bit more housework while the computer sits there, apparently contemplating the meaning of life, the universe and everything.  I’m not a computer geek, as well you know, so my only technomabobble solution was to clear my cache.  I only know about this because Googlemail sometimes bleats on about my need for a clean out and I’m forced to pay attention and follow their instructions.

So.  Yesterday I went about purging myself of all the crapola that secretly gets salted away on my computer as I surf.  I had a quick look through what was there, hoping to just delete the obvious rubbish because, of course, a complete purge means having to sign in all over again at all the many password protected pages that I use.  [I'm not one of those people who uses the name of their pet guinea pig at every single site from bangra beat to on-line banking so remembering every sign in combo is a complete pain in the proverbials].  My cache list made for fascinating reading – for someone like me who is already mentally stunted from hours spent staring at half-loaded pages.  Who knew that I needed a cookie installed for on-line wrestling?  (?!?) Or that cookies were needed for any number of diet sites (there’s an irony in that statement, isn’t there?) … especially as I’m not aware of ever visiting such sites.  In the end it became too hard to sift through everything, trying to identify whether or not it was needed, so here I am, having to sign in everywhere again.  That’s OK I suppose – it’s exercise for my poor befuddled brain.  However, you know what alarms me?  …Well two things actually:

a]  When I’m visiting sites like my Hotmail account, I can hear a stream of that ominous tap, tap, tap, click, click, clicking going on in my machine that means that plenty of crapola is being dumped on my machine, to replace the crapola I just got rid of, and

b]  My internet access is no faster.

Any ideas anyone?  Technical assistance would be greatly appreciated, especially if you are able to couch it in words of strictly one syllable. When it comes to technical matters, any more than that and I involuntarily start to glaze over.

so its time to launch whole bunch of stuff for the FALL …. this time we have something “special”, when i say special because i think the idea is very “new” and really different but it doesnt mean it will sell or people will like it, so you guys tell me….proof to me that you guys do like fresh and new concepts but not always dorabob or dora ’s back….PLEASEEEE…

On my way to meet with a printer, I drove past the Replogle Globe Company in Broadview, IL. I’ve driven past it many times, and have always loved the look of their loading dock with it’s bright blue and yellow paint. Today I made a photo of it.

Straightness is perishable in bars. Straightness is often lost during handling operations, loading and unloading.

Correct handling preserves straightness.

Straightness is critical for holding position and tolerances on today’s highly engineered medical, aerospace, automotive and electronic parts.

Here are six ways that bars can lose their straightness.

Six Ways Bar Straightness Can Be Degraded

1) Mechanical damage to an end.   If the bundle is struck by a lift truck, or if the bars catch on a rack or table while being hoisted with the crane, this can cause the ends of the bars that are caught to be deflected out of the bundle and bent.

2) Improper blocking and support at mill or on truck. Cold finished barstock, especially smaller diameters, really needs to be supported at multiple points along its length. This reduces the possible radius that the bundle can sag or droop between supports. The mills that I’m familiar with, (PMPA Tech members) are pro’s and know the best way to support the product and to package it securely. Reputable mills put more bands on smaller ID bar bundles to preserve straightness when needed.

3) Truck loading  and securing. The binders used to secure the bars onto the truck can cause a permanent deformation if they are not matched up with the blocking beneath the bars. I saw a trucker once use a 4 foot piece of pipe as a “cheater” to secure the binding chains ‘one more notch.’ You could hear the wood  underneath the bundle being crushed. Chains are always bad news for cold drawn bars- nicks, and gouges and ‘low spots.’

4) Improper unloading. Putting a spreader bar on so that there are multiple points of support for the bundle is critical, especially with the smaller diameter bars and small bundles.

This is bad...

 I have seen shops unload bundles by using a single “hitch” at the approximate middle of the bundles. This causes a permanent camber over the length of the bars. Jerky crane lifts rather than smooth movements can magnify this effect.

5) Hand unloading or using a forklift. Small diameter bars especially can be bent by the way they are manually pulled out, lifted, and carried, instead of being placed on a table or rack. Using a forklift can also cause bars to be bent.

6) Frequency of handling. If you are buying from a service center, the number of times that the material has been handled can double or triple,  compared to a direct shipment from the mill. Given that you may be buying non-bundle quantities, it is a fact of life that the number of lifts and handling increases dramatically with the additional destination of the service center, as well as in the act of splitting the bundle. 

When you encounter bar straightness issues, characterizing the way the bar deviates from straightness can help you determine which of the above factors might be the cause.
