A FOOTBALL steward has been banned from every ground in Britain for a year after throwing a flare onto a pitch.

The court order means Michael Smith, 21, will lose his pitch-side security job with SPL side Falkirk.

He was arrested at a high-tempered derby match between rivals Linlithgow Rose and Bo’ness United when cops spotted the smoke bomb being hurled onto the pitch.

It wasn’t hard for officers to trace the arc smoke back to Smith, who was fined £1,000 and branded “mindless” by a Sheriff today (Thurs).

A Falkirk insider said last night: “This is exactly the kind of thing we employ stewards to stop other people doing, never mind doing it themselves.

“It’s completely stupid, but stewards are never the brightest anyway.

“We’ll be speaking to police, but it will be an instant dismissal.”

Smith’s antics forced last month’s game at Prestonfield Park to be delayed while police cleared the 15-inch long flare from the field.

Fiscal Depute Alastair Learmonth told Livingston Sheriff Court that Smith had been seen in the ground’s away end among the Bo’ness supporters.

Culpable and reckless

He said: “The ground was mainly made up of adults with young children.

“The flair appeared to come from over a wall and landed on the pitch.

“The game was delayed while a police officer went on to the pitch to retrieve the flare.

“Mr Smith was traced and made a full admission to throwing the flare.”

Smith, of Stewart Avenue in Bo’ness, Falkirk, pled guilty to culpable and reckless conduct and breach of the peace by throwing a flare into Prestonfield Park on October 10 in court yesterday.

He got the flare from a paintball centre, according to defence agent Darryl Lovie.

Mr Lovie said: “If anyone should know better, it is Mr Smith as he is, somewhat ironically, employed at Falkirk football stadium on Saturdays as a steward.

“Whether or not this conviction will affect his ability to do so remains to be seen.

“As I understand it, this device can only give off a plume of smoke; there was no fire, and if this item were to strike someone, it wouldn’t cause injury.

“It is normally used for paintballing, and while paintballing is a controlled environment, this is not a dangerous device or explosive.

“That’s not to take away from the fact that clearly this occurred in a largely populated football match.”

“Mindless behaviour”

He also said Smith had just left a full-time job with Scottish Widows, with the aim of going to college to become an engineer.

Now jobless, Smith claims he wants to start a racing car business when he finishes studying.

Sheriff Douglas Kinloch told him: “What you did was reckless and caused disruption.

“This is the kind of mindless behaviour that spoils the enjoyment of people who like to spend an afternoon being entertained at the football.

“It is very sad that this was carried out by someone who works as a football steward and should therefore have known better.

“There will be a substantial fine, but I also consider it an appropriate and just punishment to impose a football banning order.

“You will be banned from attending any football matches for one year.”

A Falkirk FC spokesman said: “I can confirm that Mr Smith is employed by the club as a security guard.

“Once we get confirmation from the police, we will be dealing with this internally.”

So late! But I still wanted to participate. I was doing so well.

My photohunt contribution.

In einer Rede zu BRD, Demokratie, Sozialstaat unf Finanzkrise, wählte der Schauspieler sehr treffende Worte, was ihm die NPD mit tosendem Beifall dankte.

Er sprach davon, dass das System, das die BRD zur Zeit praktiziert, keine Demokratie sei.
Er lobte die DDR für gewisse Einzelleistungen, aber betonte dennoch, dass er sie nicht zurückfordere.
Er versprach, dass wenn er die Macht besäße, einen Finanzhai, wie Josef Ackermann sofort verhaften ließe.

Der gelbe Mann Westerwelle kritisierte Sodann sodann insofern als dass diese Wortwahl “sonst nur” von der NPD gebraucht werde – es klingt nach einer negativen Kritik, denke ich.

Jedenfalls handelt es sich hierbei um eine klare Sache:
Der Bundespräsidentschaftskandidat der Linkspartei und des Bündnisses 90/Grüne hatte sich zu allgemeinen Fragen des Staates, der Gesellschaft und der Geschichte in gewissem Maße NPD-konform ausgedrückt.

Selbstverständlich muss der Herr Lafontaine dem etwas nachsetzen, um ja nicht den Anschein zu erwecken, seine Partei hätte irgendwelche inhaltlichen Gemeinsamkeiten mit den Nationaldemokraten, so kommentierte er die als positiv wertbaren Kommentare der NPD wie folgt:

Womit er nur Guido Westerwelle gemeint haben kann…

Der Name, mit dem wir unsere politische Ordnung bezeichnen, heißt Demokratie, weil die Angelegenheiten nicht im Interesse weniger, sondern der Mehrheit gehandhabt werden.

Und seiner Meinung nach werden die Angelegenheiten nicht im Interesse der Mehrheit gehandhabt, weil die Kürzung von Sozialleistungen, das Sinken der Löhne und so weiter, nicht im Interesse der Mehrheit liegen kann, weil ja die Mehrheit unter eben diesen Entwicklungen leidet.
Die NPD begründete ihre Unterstützungserklärung damit, dass es sich bei der Demokratie der BRD um ein “vermachtetes Parteiensystem” handle.

Womit der Lafontaine sicher nicht Recht hat, ist, dass die politischen Geschäfte nicht im Interesse der Mehrheit gehandhabt werden würden, weil Genanntes nicht im Interesse der Mehrheit liegen könne.
Man vergesse nicht, dass die Parteien Vertreter des Volkes darstellen und dass das Volk als Kollektivum entscheidet, wer es schlussendlich vertreten darf. Die Vertreter des Volkes sind zugleich seine Interessensvertreter, beziehungsweise sie sind es einiger Gruppen, wie z.B. der Arbeiterschaft, der Angestellten, der Unternehmer, der Bänker, der Ausländer, der Armen, der Reichen, der Alten, der Jungen und so weiter.
Jede Partei tut vor der Wahl ihre Linie kund, um somit auch jedem potentiellen Wähler mitzuteilen, wessen Wahl die beste Wahl für den Wähler ist, womit also der Wähler über seine Stimme jedem Abgeordneten das Recht einräumt, ihn so zu vertreten, wie der Abgeordnete, beziehungsweise dessen Partei es versprochen hatte.
Wenn die Mehrheit der Deutschen nun eine Parteienlandschaft erstellt, die so aussieht, dass Parteien, denen man ageblich extreme soziale Kälte vorwirft, insgesamt eine politische Kraft bilden, die stark genug ist, um zumindest 50% der Bevölkerung zu repräsentieren, dann repräsentiert sie auch das Interesse der Mehrheit.
Wenn die Deutschen also seit Jahrzehnten dieselben Versager wählen, dann muss sich der Deutsche wohl für sich persönlich dafür entschieden haben, dass dies seine beste Wahl ist und wenn dies im Interesse des Deutschen liegt, dann ist es so.
Es ist ja schlussendlich der Deutsche selbst, der mithilfe seiner Stimme dem sozialen Kahlschlag durch die bürgerlichen Großparteien Kraft verleiht, ihn auch durchzuführen.
Die Pflicht des Deutschen wäre es nun, richtig, in seinem Interesse zu wählen, doch dagegen sorgen die Medien.

Also, Herr Lafontaine: Handelt es sich beim System der BRD um eine Demokratie oder nicht? -Oder müssten Sie nun der NPD klein bei geben, um nicht gleichzeitig Ihren Kandidaten zu verprellen?

Nichtsdestotrotz, es ist schon lange allgemeinhin bekannt, dass die Linkspartei der NPD nicht allzu fern liegt, was sich auch am Vergleich der im Wahl-o-mat aufgestellten Thesen messen lässt.
Nicht umsonst erreicht die NPD im Osten die höchsten Pronzentpunkte und das nicht nur vereinzelt, sondern relativ flächendeckend – zusammen mit der Linkspartei.

Loading an image (or any file)  into a database via JPA is quite easy actually, here is some code to help you out.  Please note that this is quick dirty code, and you might consider a lot of changes were you to use it.  But the idea is there, and will allow you  see how it goes.

Firstly one needs to create their entity class

This post is in a series of post on how I’ve written enterprise scale applications end to end. I will work from the bottom up, from database to user interface.

This series might take a while to finish, since there are many layers to the application and I’m writing this entirely in my free time at coffee shops. As I write this, it seems this entire series could become a small book.

Let me make some assumptions about this software application.

1. The application has multiple tiers.
2. The middle tier is written on the .NET framework.
3. The database is SQL based. I’m using SQL Server 2008.

With these assumptions, I will walk through one way of how to write an end to end application that should scale. I say ‘should’ because I have not load tested the completed application. I will include code, and at the end I will provide a full Visual Studio solution that can be downloaded and run.

The next post in the series will be on writing a Data Access Layer.

So, ich glaube ich sollte euch mal wieder auf den neusten Stand bringen. Ist ja schon etwas länger her, dass ich was von mir gegeben habe.

Also die Hochzeit letzten Samstag war sehr schön und sehr Tränenreich. Und das nicht nur bei Braut und Bräutigam, sondern auch eh *hust* bei mir. Ich kann mich irgendwie nicht beherrschen manchmal bin ich einfach hoffnungslos romantisch *g*.
Vor der Kirche dann Spalier gestanden mit Blumenbögen.
Dann begann die Hetzjagd in die Turnhalle um uns da umzuziehen und zu schminken. Hat dann auch ganz gut geklappt. Nur schon komisch wenn dich hinterher alle angucken weil du wie ein Zebra aussiehst…
Ich habe leider noch kein Foto wo ich ganz drauf bin sondern nur von meinem Gesicht, aber da könnt ihr mal sehen wie ich aussah. Nach 8 Abschminktüchern und einer gefühlten halben Stunde später war ich dann wieder sauber….

Es ist leider ein bisschen verwackelt und es war auch nur die Handykamera…

Ja den Samstag gings mir auch noch gut… Sonntag ging eigentlich auch noch… Montag dann nicht mehr…

Ok, ich machs jetzt kurz. Montag und Dienstag war ich noch zu Hause, Dienstag dachte der Arzt es wäre eine Lungenentzündung. Mittwoch kam ich ins Krankenhaus und es war eine Nieren-Becken Entzündung. Bin jetzt seit Freitag wieder zu Hause und mir gehts wieder gut.
Ich hab mich auch an irgendeinem Tag gefragt warum ich jetzt kein Handy habe mit dem ich twittern könnte, war schon ziemlich langweilig da
