I’ve missed you the past few days but had to catch up on sleep. Yesterday I let one of my colleagues use my hand cream and “he” couldn’t stop going on about it: ” it’s amazing, my hands feel so soft, so silky, it sank right into my skin”. I thought I better share it with all of you…

I been using L’Occitane products for years. I love their Shea butter hand cream and foot cream.

They are doing limited edition hand creams at the moment in Ylang Ylang, Rosebud and Frangipani. All made of Shea butter.

and while I’m at it I have to recommend their Almond Apple Velvet Concentrate. I love the smell and texture and it makes my skin feel silky.

Bom dia pra todo mundo, um monte de luz, alegria, e surpresas maravilhosas. Esse é um post que eu queria apenas falar isso mesmo, repassar energias boas e receber também. Os tempos são de calma, mas não vamos esquecer que sempre é tempo de amor. 

Porque tanta rasgação de cupcake açucarado? Porque CUT é amor, são sorrisos de alegria independente da cor do batom, são vocês e eu e nos todas misturadas hehee.

Aconteceu uma coisa que me fez pensar em outras coisas até chegar no sorteio de hoje. Vamos a elas. Lembra que eu falei da L’Occitane? Foi por isso, vendo como as coisas (boas  ou ruins) acontecem em cadeia, que eu pensei numa coisa diferente pra esse sorteio, seria um especial fim de ano. Mas na verdade é um especial Bons Sentimentos. 2010 está chegando e precisamos começar a trabalhar nosso lado bom e amoroso, porque isso tudo vai voltar pra gente no ano novinho.

Então eu proponho uma sorteio especial dessa vez. Vai ser assim: cada pessoa que ganhar, vai ter que dar um presentinho pra sortear na próxima semana. Vai ser uma rede de amor, finalizando na última semana do ano, e com um sorteio por semana.

Pode ser qualquer coisinha, uma sombra que você comprou e não usa mais, um presente que você ganhou e não combinou, alguma coisa perfumada… O importante é embrulhar, fazer uma cartinha, qualquer coisa que você faça com amor já tá valendo.

A cada semana eu vou tentar colocar mais presentes nessa sacola. Tenho umas coisas mesmo na fila pra sortear. Essa semana, trabalhando o desapego, eu vou dar pro sorteio uma coisinha minha mesmo, que eu nunca usei. Um demaquilante caréeeeezimo da L’Occitane!!!

Denna makalösa Hand Cream från L’Occitane är nog det absolut snällaste mot mina händer just nu. För dom blir alltid nariga, fjälliga och spruckna när det är kallt och hur mycket vantar och krämer jag har så blir det envist ajaj ändå. Men no more. L’OCCITANE Ultra Comforting Mask 75ml

I’m not sure why I really want to write this, but I keep thinking about it so here it is, just so I can have some peace and stop thinking about writing posts! (｀Д´) ムキー!

The Ultra Comforting Mask is from L’OCCITANE’s Shea & Organic Cotton range for sensitive skin. A friend recommended this range, particularly their Ultra Comforting Cream, to me but I have too many moisturisers waiting to be finished. I’ve used the Ultra Comforting Cleansing Milk in the past and thought it was a decent cleanser (but maybe not for combination-oily skin) so when I was looking for a soothing, moisturising mask I picked this one. (o´・∀・｀o)ﾆｺｯ♪

I like the concept behind the Shea & Organic Cotton range. The products are formulated with the minimal number of ingredients using (as far as possible) natural products, and contain no perfumes, colourants, preservatives or alcohol. Because there aren’t any preservatives, the products have a life of 6 months once opened. I don’t think it’s a problem finishing this mask in 6 months, but I wasn’t able to finish the cleanser. (ﾉω･､) ｳｩ･･･

The Ultra Comforting Mask is a creamy mask that is designed to soothe and moisturise the skin. I was originally afraid it would be thick and greasy, but the texture is actually quite light. What I like most about it is that you don’t have to wash it off. +.ﾟ(*´∀｀)bﾟ+.ﾟｲｨ Once the five minutes or so of masking time is over the instructions suggest just removing any excess with tissue. I usually find that my skin has absorbed most of the mask so I go straight on to my skin care routine.

I’m not sure if it’s visible in the photos below, but the mask is a little grainy. It’s not a problem though, because I don’t feel any graininess when I spread it out (and my skin is too sensitive for many scrubs).

I’ve been using this mask daily because my skin has been very sensitive and dehydrated. I use a generous amount each time so one tube isn’t going to last too long.

After using this my face feels softer and more moisturised. I’m now able to use Retin-A every night, which is a huge improvement because before I started using this my face would feel sore when I used Retin-A consecutively for two nights. But I also get burning/stinging sensations each time I use this, especially when my skin is particularly sensitive. So I’m not sure if the mask is good for my skin! (。=｀ω´=)ぇ?

While the packaging also says it’s meant to reduce facial redness, I haven’t actually noticed an improvement. But nothing I’ve used in the past has worked, so it’s not really the mask’s fault. (´･ω･｀;A)　アセアセ

WHENEVER I feel like I am circling the financial drain, I like to think about all the things I will buy when I have money. This may not be the most productive thing to do – I’ve heard that it would be wiser to focus on the things I already have in my life – but it cheers me up. I am particularly excited about these grandiose daydreams, because unlike previous times when my spending has gone a little over budget and I would have to worry about working to earn back the money to buy things, now it is holiday season, which means that there is a possibility that even if I maintain my couch potato lifestyle (which I am actively avoiding – I filled out 2 seasonal job applications today for my month-long winter break!!), I might still get new things because Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza/Winter Solstice is just around the corner! So here is my current list of things occupying my daydreams:

Diquinha para quem vive correndo como eu mas não abre mão de hidratar o “corpitcho” depois do banho: o Huile de Douche, da L’Occitane, a base de óleo de amêndoa.

Eu nunca fui fã de óleos de banho, acho bem melecados, mas esse me chamou a atenção porque, em contato com a água, ele se transforma em espuma. Ou seja, cumpre dupla função, sabonete e hidratante, de uma só vez, além de proteger a pele da água quente (que é o que detona, né?).
