Sekarang gw udah buat aplikasi,,namanya Folder Locker. Aplikasi cemen sich, tapi cukup ampuh nyembunyiin file dari para newbie. Aplikasi ini portable, ringan, dan Open Source, dan yang paling penting, GRATIIIISSSS…!!!(Orang indonesia biasanya seneng denger kata gratis…hehehe).

Cara makenya tinggal klik aja file “Folder Locker.exe”, nanti akan terbentuk folder “Rahasia” tapi beratribut hidden, nah untuk munculinnya pilih no 2 (teken 2 di keyboard, terus teken enter) saat muncul seperti ini:

Kalo udah dipilih,nanti bakal diminta password untuk ngebukanya, password defaultnya “buka” (tanpa tanda kutip), terus teken enter. Sampe keluar kaya gini:

Nah baru dech sekarang folder rahasianya udah kebuka, sekarang masukan file-file rahasia atau penting kedalam folder “Rahasia”.

Kalo udah, sekarang tinggal dikonci. Pilih no 1. Masukin Password (Password defaultnya “kunci” tentunya tanpa tanda kutip pula), dan…tadaaa…….. Lho koq ilang??? Lho koq ilang??? Lho koq ilang???Piye iki???
Emang gitu,nyantai aja kalee. Folder tadi dihidden lagi, dan ga bakal bisa diakses lewat explorer. Iconnya pun berubah jadi gambar gembok. Orang yang awam masalah komputer pasti bingung dan ga tau. Oh iya, folder dan aplikasi tadi jangan dipindah-pindah tempatnya ya. Folder Rahasia dan aplikasi Folder Locker harus jadi satu folder, kalo enggak, ntar ga bisa dibuka/dipake lagi. Kalo mau ngebuka ulangi langkah di atas tadi. dan kalo mau ngapus foldernya, password defaultnya “hapus” (tanpa tanda kutip). OK dech Selamat Mencoba.

Aplikasi ini saya buat sendiri, jadi masih banyak kelemahannya. Kalo ada saran,pertanyaan atau kritik tentang program ni, comment ya…!!!

Bitlocker es un sistema de protección de  datos diseñado para proteger toda la información que tengamos en particiones de disco duro o en memorias Flash.

Adicionalmente tenemos el Bitlocker to go que nos permite poder colocar una contraseña a nuestras unidades removibles como las Flash drive, permitiendo asi tener una seguridad sobre los datos que tengamos.

En las  versiones que está disponible esta función es Windows  7 Enterprise y Windows 7 ultímate.

¿COMO FUNCIONA?

Bitlocker To Go extiende el cifrado a los dispositivos portátiles tales como las memorias USB y a discos removibles  y  Bitlocker extiende esta seguridad a discos duros adicionales o a particiones.

Esto quiere decir que podemos colocar una clave de seguridad a nuestras unidades y dicha clave no podrá ser burlada a menos que se conociera dicha clave.

Si alguien quisiera robarnos información que utilizamos en nuestro Pendrive, al tener esta función de Bitlocker solo si se conoce la clave podría tener acceso a los datos.

COMO UTILIZAR BITLOCKER

Para inicializar localmente un dispositivo removible, puede hacerlo desde el Panel de Control o desde el Explorer, botón derecho del Mouse, en “Turn On Bitlocker” o “Activar Bitlocker”.

Paso # 1: Inicializar el dispositivo removible

Si el usuario lo desea, puede proteger el acceso al dispositivo removible con una contraseña.

Si opta por la contraseña, el Bitlocker le indicará si es o no segura.

Paso #  2: Guardar la llave de recuperación.

Guardar clave es requerida en el caso de que el usuario pierda o se olvide la contraseña de ingreso. Este archivo se puede almacenar o imprimir. En el caso de que lo almacene, recuerde no guardarlo en el mismo dispositivo, ya que no podrá accederlo en el caso de no contar con la contraseña. Almacene los datos en lugar seguro.

Paso 3: Confirma el cifrado del dispositivo

Una vez que está listo, puede proceder al cifrado del disco removible o pendrive USB.

Paso # 4: Cifrado de dispositivo

Una vez finalizado, en el Explorer de Windows, podemos observar que el S.O. nos indica mediante un candado que el dispositivo está cifrado.

Usando el dispositivo removible:

Si retiramos el mismo y volvemos acceder, nos pedirá la contraseña de acceso que definimos en el paso # 1.

¿Qué pasa si usamos Vista o XP? ¿Podemos usar esta funcionalidad?

No importa la versión de sistema operativo que tengamos, porque siempre nos pedirá la contraseña que nos permita accesar al contenido de la unidad que se haya realizado el cifrado de la información.

Si colocamos el Pendrive, veremos que la raíz del mismo posee los siguientes archivos:

Ejecutamos el Bitlockertogo.exe y aparece una pantalla como esta:

Esta funcionalidad permite que pueda cifrar el pendrive en un MS Windows 7, pero también pueda acceder a su contenido en MS Vista o XP.

Si Usted posee una Pc con Sistema Operativo MS Windows XP, cuando se ingrese el pendrive al puerto USB, debe aparecer la pantalla como se visualiza en la imagen anterior. Una vez que ingresan la contraseña, aparecerá otra ventana que nos permitirá copiar o acceder a los archivos alojados en el pendrive.

Observaciones:

Adicionalmente para poder generar el cifrado Bitlocker debemos de tener el hardware adecuado y para ello debemos de contar con un chip en nuestro Motherboard que se conoce como “TPM chip 1.2”, este chip todos los Motherboard de gama mediana o alta de Intel, los posee como todos los Motherboard con procesador  i7.

So remember the locker incident?? WELL! I went back to the lockers today and this time stood in front of MY locker and MY LOCK IS GONE!

I’m really trying to figure out what happened. So in the summer, they had us reserve lockers over our intranet thing. I really thought I picked locker #348. Then I never put a lock on the locker. Then I kept getting a bunch of harassing emails telling me that if I didn’t put a lock on the locker, they’d assign it to somebody else. So I got a combination lock and slapped it on the locker. Then I ignored it for weeks. Last week I went to put a book in my locker and found locker #348 with a tiny padlock on it! And I’m standing there staring at the thing being all wtf, who stole my locker!

Then I came here and blogged about it.

Then I checked the intranet and discovered I’m actually assigned to locker #346.

So then today! I went to my locker, my real locker, and my lock IS gone! Someone took my lock off my locker!!! What the hell!

I never use it and there was nothing in it so there’s no big loss there. But still. They hounded me to put a lock on the damn thing, then I do it, and then they pull my lock off!

…..Although…..

Is it possible that I put my lock on #348 and the real owner of that locker reported it to whoever takes care of the locker situation and they cut my lock off because I put it on the wrong locker?

FML.

Após testar o Polo I-Motion (dividido em partes I e II), o segundo automatizado a  parar em minhas mãos foi o Idea Adventure 1.8 Flex Dualogic Locker. Os automatizados estão causando o maior “rebuliço” no mercado, e já que o Idea passou por minhas mãos decidi trazer um pouco das minhas noções para você, leitor.

Entre sexta-feira (30/10) e domingo (1/11) percorri 630 quilômetros com o Idea, dos quais 550 km foram em uma viagem feita exclusivamente para ver como ficou o casamento do espírito “Adventure” do Idea com o câmbio Dualogic,  uma união de dois mundos distintos. É de nosso conhecimento que poucos dos que optam pela linha Adventure da Fiat realmente trafegam em situações fora de estrada, mas não podíamos deixar de avaliar o modelo em uma das situações que condizem com a sua proposta. Simples assim.

Também é válido dizer que o Idea possui outra proposta se o comparamos com o Polo, mas não esqueçamos, o foco é o câmbio.

Além das rodovias, o Idea foi conduzido por estradas esburacadas, serra e muitos quilômetros em trilhas leves de terra. Acabei retornando para casa com uma surpreendente satisfação, e com o carro tão sujo quanto um Beagle ficaria ao deparar com um divertido playground cheio de lama, barro e terra.

Mantive o câmbio do Polo como modelo de comparação para ver como a transmissão automatizada da Fiat se saia, e fiquei surpreso.O Dualogic me agradou muito na cidade pelo funcionamento mais suave. Na estrada seu comportamento foi ainda mais exemplar. As trocas foram rápidas e agora que o convívio com o sistema automatizado virou cotidiano, não houve muitos trancos ou surpresas. O funcionamento agradou pela suavidade, precisão e boa agilidade, características um pouco menos frequentes no sistema da VW, em minha opinião.

Nas estradas de terra o Idea foi posto à prova e não escapou de poças de lama ou terrenos de baixa aderência que podem ser observados nas fotos e no vídeo baixo. Confesso que estava com receio de como seria o comportamento do câmbio automatizado durante o teste, que incluía sequências de subidas íngremes que costumam forçar o sistema de embreagem, mas que ainda assim, seriam facilmente superados por um Idea Adventure Locker com o câmbio comum. Será que o automatizado vai dar conta? Já imaginou ficar sozinho com o carro enguiçado quase no meio do nada? Com uma boa dose de frio na barriga, coloquei o câmbio em “D” e rumei para o meu conhecido traçado off-road.

Felizmente o câmbio não reclamou das situações vividas e carregou o Idea com um vigor que eu não esperava, sem queimar embreagem em momento algum. Em estradas não pavimentadas, o maior ponto negativo do sistema vai para a falta do controle da embreagem, que é o fator que mais limita o desempenho do Adventure em situação “off-road-light”, especialmente em subidas com o piso em baixa aderência. O segundo ponto negativo é quando o câmbio decide passar para a 2° marcha sem ter noção de que a ladeira que está por vir só irá ser superada em 1ª marcha. Nesse caso, utilize o modo manual para evitar surpresas e não haverá  mistérios.

Muito provavelmente, no entanto, tais limitações para situação off-road sequer serão percebidas pelo proprietário do Idea Adventure Locker Dualogic, uma vez que, como já foi dito,  poucos dos proprietários realmente irão colocar o carro em estradas assim. Uma coisa que chamou a atenção e também pode ser observado nas filmagens são os impactos que se escuta da embreagem e das engrenagens da caixa de marcha, que ocorreram algumas vezes que as rodas patinavam e paravam.

O consumo foi de 8,9 km/l na estrada rodando com álcool. Pouco, mas vale dizer que apesar de eu não estar utilizando o ar-condicionado, realizei testes de aceleração e o trânsito estava pesado, não fluindo com muita facilidade. Nas estradas de serra da filmagem, o consumo aumentou para exatos 5,5 km/l. Compreensível se atentarmos ao fato da altitude elevada que o Idea estava (chegando a um pico de 1 700m) e as condições da estrada.

Os pneus de uso misto tracionaram muito bem tanto na terra quando no asfalto, e os ângulos de entrada, de 29°, saída, de 48° e altura livre em relação ao solo de 18,5 cm são mais que suficientes para que o Idea Adventure circule à vontade em trilhas leves que a maioria de seus proprietários sequer sonha visitar, mesmo com o Dualogic. Mas vale enfatizar: o modelo só deve circular em trilhas leves, uma vez que sua tração é apenas dianteira e o sistema Locker colabora em situações complicadas, mas não faz milagres. Essa afirmação pode ser averiguada no vídeo abaixo.

Realmente gostei muito do Polo I-Motion, mas o Dualogic do Idea insiste em não me deixar com saudades do câmbio automatizado da VW.  Paciência…

Down the street from my apartment is a great little gem called the Liquor Locker. Right on Main Street in Westport, this place is the bomb! Good prices, good people and some great choices in wine and liquor. Johnny boy, the man behind the counter, or out front smoking cigars or in back having a little sippy sippy of a nice Chardonnay is an expert in all areas alcoholic.

This dude knows everything about anything in this shop and even some stuff you wouldn’t want to know. Like how his dogs snore at him while he is sleeping. Weird, I know, but whatever. Jesus Fucking Christ!  Alright, folks, do I even need to tell you how this one ends?  Fire Commissioner and utterly clueless asshole James Johnson orders a firefighter to take the American flag off his locker and suspends said firefighter when he respectfully refuses.  Wait for it…wait for it…

Well, of course they reinstated the firefighter and allowed the sticker of the American goddamn flag to stay put.  And how did our clueless bureaucrat attempt to extricate his head from his ass?

No, there was never an intent to desecrate the American flag.  We just decided to criminalize putting it on your locker, insist that you scrape it off, suspend you when you declined, wait about 10 seconds for the news media (including the DrudgeReport) to report the story, wonder what all those people outside the firehouse holding signs saying “The Flag Is Not Offensive” are doing, and then do what anybody with an IQ above 50 would have done.

Administrators, quit making goddamn asses of yourselves!  Quit enforcing so literally rules that were never intended to prevent the kind of behavior your subordinates are engaging in.  Christ!

Paysinger and Reed take down Jake Locker in 2008

This Saturday, the (5-1) Oregon Ducks go up to Seattle to face the (3-4) Washington Huskies. A game that, to the untrained eye, looks to be already won by the Ducks. But let’s backtrack.

The Ducks and Huskies began playing each other in 1900, but the rivalry really came into its own in 1948, when UW convinced schools in the league to vote against sending Oregon to the Rose Bowl.

While Oregon is down in the all-time record (39-57-5), the Ducks have won the last 5 meetings, including a 44-10 home blowout last year when the Huskies went winless.

But the Huskies have shown promise this year at home with a new coach at the helm. Their home-opener against LSU came down to the wire and they upset USC 16-13 in week 3. There other home game was a strong victory against Idaho.

With new coach Sarkisian, a PAC-10 veteran, I am expecting a big effort out of the Huskies this year, but will it be enough?

The Ducks are 3-0 in PAC-10 play with a defense that has only given up one touchdown. The offense has been rolling, averaging almost 40 points per game (PAC-10). Also, an important note, the Ducks are coming off of a restful bye week which will produce fresh legs and the expected return of starters TJ Ward and Jeremiah Masoli.

On a personal note: I’ll be going up to the game with my pops. I’m stoked. Go Ducks!

Being I haven’t done a “how-to” post yet this week, let’s take a look at Groups.  Groups are one of those topics that some faculty require in all of their classes, while others don’t use it at all.  However, it’s one of those things you should know how to do.  Groups can be helpful in discussions, dropbox, lockers, even in the gradebook.  Here’s how to create groups:

Go to the course you wish to make groups in and click on “Groups” under “Course Administration”.

Then, because you likely haven’t created any new groups, you will need to click on “New Category”.  Please note, this is not the group itself, but rather the reason you are creating the groups.  If you are creating groups for class-wide activities, then you can simply name your category “Class Groups”.

Once you have clicked on the “New Category”, you can name your category as well as a description of it.

Next, you need to select the “Enrollment Type”.  This is really asking you what kind of groups you want to make.  You can create a number of groups, groups of a certain size and choose whether students can pick their own group.

Lastly, directly from here, you can create one of three areas where your groups can interact.  So, you might want a group of students to participate in a closed discussion area.  Maybe, you want them to turn in an assignment in the dropbox, but want them to use the Locker to exchange files first.  Any combination of the three you can set up.  Of course, if you just want the groups and will determine how to use them later, you can not check any if you wish.

One last note about groups, instructors have access to all groups.  This means if you set up a group, you are still able to go into the group and participate as the instructor.
