“The fourth issue of Kadokawa Shoten’s Nyantype magazine is confirming on Wednesday that the AIC anime studio is replacing Gonzo on the animation production of the second anime season of Strike Witches. As recently as April, Gonzo was listed as the anime studio for the second season. Like the 2007 video anime and the first television anime season (2008), the tentatively titled “Strike Witches 2-ki” is based on Humikane Shimada’s mecha-girl illustrations.

Most of the main staff will tentatively return from the first season, including director and anime character designer Kazuhiro Takamura, the series script supervisor “Striker Unit,” and Takaaki Suzuki (the staffer who helps develop the setting of the story’s world and military matters).

The North American anime distributor Funimation announced in April that it acquired the rights to release the first Strike Witches television anime season. Crunchyroll and BOST TV had streamed the first anime season when it premiered in Japan last year.

The copyright notice for the new season is ‘© 2007-2009 Humikane Shimada/Kadokawa Shoten/Gonzo/501st Joint Fighter Wing.’ “

Well…. I think many of us can agree that this means GONZO is officially screwed. They have just lost one of their most profitable anime series, or at least the second season, which either way is pretty bad for the GONZO especially considering their current financial status. However it looks as though AIC has officially gained the rights to produce the second season, before it was thought that GONZO would lose the rights to the second season, but it was later confirmed that they still had the second season of Strike Witches. But jut because the Strike Witches franchise is being brought over to a different Studio doesn’t mean I’m really all that worried. Mainly because it looks as though the staff will be mostly be the same as the previous seasons, which means there really shouldn’t be any real decline in quality, and AIC produces some pretty good stuff. But it’s been a while since the second season was announced with no official release date, I wonder when the second season will come around…

Moe goodness overload in this entry as Fate Testarossa’s Nendoroid version finally gets a full glance plus update as to where you can pre-order her.

In-line with the upcoming 1st movie of the ever so popular “Magical Lyrical Nanoha”, Fate Testarossa not only joins the Figma line along with Nanoha but she got her chance to be yours/ours as a Nendoroid version too.

The amazing thing here is that Arf, who we all know as the familiar who accompanies Fate throughout the show is added in this release although she’s in her puppy form (NOTE: she also has her wolf-like form).

So far, the said nendoroid will come with Arf and “Baradiche” in Scythe form plus some moe faces for enthusiasts to enjoy.

Hace ya tiempo había escuchado de esta serie, pero no le hice mucho caso ya que creí que era puro fan service, sorprendentemente me dejo bastante facinado, por que a pesar de que su contenido es en esencia ecchi y fanservice, logra mantener una historia que por momentos roza la genialidad.
Aoki Daisuke es un chico de 23 años que entra a una escuela primaria como maestro, es un novato el cual apenas comienza, y no muy bien, ya que el primer día, al abrir la puerta del salón, encuentra aun grupo de niñas cambiándose de ropa, lo cual hace que piensen que es un pervertido, ahí mismo se encontrara con la chica que cambiara su vida de la forma mas drástica.
Kokonoe Rin es una niña de unos 9 años (tomando como referencia que va en 3er grado) que al conocer a su maestro decide acosarlo de una forma un tanto descarada, además de auto nombrarse su novia, ella junto con sus amigas Mimi Usa y Kuro Kagami le haran la vida de cuadritos a Aoki, es ahí en donde comienza a desenvolverse esta historia bastante hot xD.
Kodomo no Jikan es una serie de 12 capitulos mas 4 OVAs producida por Barcelona Studio, y adaptación del manga de Kaworu watashiya, la animación es bastante buena, y bueno, el tema central es controvercial, por que la edad de los personajes esta bastante desnivelada jeje, pero quisiera resaltar este punto, ya que aqui es donde la serie muestra parte de su genialidad, mostrándonos a personajes, que si bien, en este caso son niñas de 9 años, su comportamiento psicologico es bastante maduro, incluso poniendo aprueba la madurez de los adultos, las escenas son fuertes, y de alguna forma tocan fibras un tanto sensibles, no quiero hacer spoiler, pero en uno de los OVAs vemos una escena de Kokonoe con Mimi bastante erótica pero ala vez cruda y triste, y es que la carga emocional de los personajes esta tan bien definida, que el comportamiento de cada uno se justifica bastante bien en su forma de actuar, creí que no seria tan buena, pero en realidad sobrepaso mis espectativas, el manga aun no lo eh leido pero me daré un tiempesito a ver si puedo.

En conclusión Kodomo no Jikan nos trae una muy buena historia dentro de un genero que a veces parece ser pan con lo mismo, y no es que me queje pero una buena historia nunca esta de mas.

Woops. I know. I Know I SUCKKKKKK! But as of late I have been extremely busy finishing my second year of University. I have been making a lot of jewelery and learning some new sewing projects (Here’s to making my own bloomers from now on!).

I say that my return to blogging will be brief because in less than a week’s time I will be in El Salvador until December and in San Antonio Texas for most of January. When I get net access I will try and update on traveling to Central America and what a Lolita should know.

It turns out that Lolita are like owls, found on every continent on earth save for Antarctica. I had a look for the possibility of their being any Lolitas in El Salvador (Central America’s smallest but most densely populated countries) and lo I found some! When traveling and if you do want to meet up with other lolitas it’s good to just ask communities like egl on livejournal to see if separate forums or communities exist.

The only problem with travel to El Salvador is that you must be very careful how you dress even in normal people boring clothes. Nothing too flashy or expensive looking though nothing that makes you look like a mutton headed backpacker because it makes you a soft target for criminals or potential kidnap and ransom victims. Finding the local Lolita community to hang with is a good safety tip but if your not sure always have your travel buddies/family close by. Save your AP OTT neon icing dresses for home and opt for casual lolita, country and classic as it will attract LESS attention (lolita is intrinsically attention grabbing). Sensible shoes are a must so leave the 6 inch Mana platforms at home, opt for smaller hair bows and veto the jewelery if you can because nothing says tourist and pickpocket bait much like accessories.

A part of me is sad about traveling there because I love accessories and will have to wear dull “comfortable” clothing out of necessity though as soon as I get to the US I will have more opportunity.

Before I do leave I will update a few more times with some posts I have been thinking on expanding on for a while now. Mainly on the subject of ERO Lolita and doing it right for both ladies and the fellas and an upcoming documentary series by my friend on the subject of Lolitas and the growing Lolita subculture in Australia.

Regular readers of this blog are probably no stranger to hentai. In fact, you may have seen a few regardless of your gender, and you definitely know of the perversions in the world of anime, manga, eroge, and especially doujin. However, to many non-anime watchers, their first thought to hentai is probably, “WTF, cartoon p0rn!? Disgusting… No thanks, I’m normal and I like normal real p0rn please.”

It is often hard to justify watching hentai to those unexposed to it.

However, hentai certainly does have some merits over live action in certain aspects. First, most hentai actually have real stories. Be it about true romantic love between two individuals, or a ridiculous harem of classmates, or even the systematic breakdown of a woman, anime undoubtedly have more depth. They make you care about what (who) the characters are doing. Comparatively, live action p0rn has no real plot beyond, “I’m here to deliver a package. Cue the sleazy jazz music.” The audience are never invested into the characters as much as when watching a good hentai. People often say that sex is much better with the person you love. I suppose that extends to pornography as well.

Secondly, budget is not as much of an issue in hentai as it is in live action. With live action, cost is much higher with a larger cast and more renowned stars, and thus good adult films are often limited by the budget. Most productions will find it hard to produce a harem of beautiful women, and ultimately sacrifice both storyline and character qualities due to financial concerns. Obviously with hentai, this is not a problem. In addition, without much more effort and cost, anything can be made into reality simply by drawing it out. Hentai can therefore theoretically cater to a larger variety of fetishes and even the darkest desires of any audience. From the absurd futas to tentacles, loli sex to extreme sadism, anything is possible.

Further, we all know Japanese people have the wildest imaginations. (And they are really really weird)

Although this imagination is a pro for hentai, I suspect these are also the reasons anime has such a bad image in some people’s minds.

“A television anime adaptation of Bow Ditama’s Kiss×sis romance manga has been green-lit for next spring. The story follows the “forbidden” love between a boy and his two stepsisters. The manga has already inspired three original anime DVD volumes that are bundled with the limited first editions of the third, fourth, and fifth manga volumes. (The fifth manga volume will ship in Japan on November 20.)

The manga has been running in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine since 2004, although it will move into the sibling publication Monthly Young Magazine in its debut issue on December 9. The new magazine was previously a bimonthly magazine called Bessatsu Young Magazine. In addition to creating Kiss×sis, Ditama created the Fight Ippatsu! Jūden-chan!! manga and anime, the Kibun Kibun manga and anime, and the art in the Mahoromatic manga.”

WOW~! Is anyone else besides me not shocked by this? I’m sure that all of us who are watching the OADS knew that there was eventually going to be an anime, I just knew there was going to HAVE to be one. But I’m really interested in how the television version will be handled since the OAD was(and is) very…ero… I hope AT-X airs it though out of all the channels around, and maybe there’ll be a few more other channels just to boost up DVD sales, like Queens Blade has been doing.

Fight Ippatsu! Jūden-chan!! which is written by the same person hasn’t aired on any other stations as of yet, or from what I’ve heard, but that may be wrong, and the “complete” DVDs are coming out soon to too sure when though, but it’ll be interesting to see what’s so “complete” about them…escpecially since I’m expecting it to have something to do with MORE fanservice.Bow Ditama sure has been getting a lot of anime as of recently Juden-chan, the Mahormatic OVAs that just came out recently, the OAD of Kissxsis AND now an anime. It’ll be interesting to see just how far the anime will go.
