A brief respite
Meditating in the sand
with a companion

Burnt sienna cloaks
gliding over
streams of sand

Fighting winter winds
up the mountain path
freezing in the snow

Sudden stardust
propels me to the heavens
flying unburdened

My light reverses
sprinkling over time and space
reborn in sand
