During the month of July in a store in Soho, customer Shenick Alcine claims A$AP attacked him in a drug-fueled rage and now he’s begun to take legal action against the Harlem emcee.

Recently, the Purple Swag rapper struck a plea deal that stemmed from that July scuffle with a pair of amateur photographers.

The incident involving Alcine was allegedly caught on the camera by the two with their smart phones.

Lets hope Rocky can get back on track in 2013.

A$AP Rocky releases another track off his debut album LongLiveA$AP which features a myriad of rappers spitting over an old-school 90′s New York style beat. It’s safe to say everyone went in on this one. LongLiveA$AP out January 15th.

Welp hip-hop goers; A$AP Rocky has finally released date for the much delayed solo debut album ”LongLiveA$AP” as well as the cover art for it.  The album has had a couple 2012 making it one of the most anticipated albums of the year.

Rocky made an appearance on MTV and announced that the album will release January 15, 2013. The reason for the delays were do to uncleared samples and the final mastering conflicts. Although he did release his group album in August of this year with A$AP Mob “Lords Never Worry” which did not meet to many fans standards

It is looking like the Harlem native is somewhat of  a perfectionist and is looking to build his buzz and fan recognition and also making sure the album sounds the way he wants it. Lets hope that he can keep the NEW release date for his solo album and hopefully us as fans will not have to wait to much longer!

A$AP Rocky stopped by the LALeakers studio to talk about his favorite and least favorite Kanye West albums with Justin Credible. Rocky says that Graduation is his favorite album and also likes Late Registration and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. His least favorite album is 808′s & Heartbreak.  No love for College Dropout? That’s probably my favorite.

Recently, ASAP Rocky brought his LongLiveASAP tour to Los Angeles with a show at the Hollywood Palladium. Rihanna was also in the building as she came to the show to support ASAP. With RiRi watching, he went ahead and performed his verse from the ‘Cockiness (Remix)’ and started a mosh pit. Backstage, Rihanna talks about why she got ASAP to join her on the Diamonds tour.

A$AP Rocky will accompany Rihanna on the North American leg of the Diamonds world tour, kicking off on Mar. 8, 2013. This should make for a pretty dope show, and while Rihanna’s fourth album will be released on Nov. 19, Rocky’s album “LONGLIVEA$AP” is looking for an early 2013 release.

Whether you were weathering Hurricane Sandy over the last few days or going about business as usual, you may have missed that both ASAP Rocky and Kid Cudi have pushed back the release dates of their upcoming albums. ASAP Rocky’s LongLiveA$AP has now been pushed back for the second time. Originally planned to drop on September 11th, fans murmured of the possibility that there would be a surprise on Halloween. Now we know that this isn’t the case. Rocky is awaiting legal clearance on samples used within the album. He’s not the kind of artist to leave his fans hanging, though. Expect a new mixtape to hold you over some time in the holiday season. Also expect LongLiveA$AP to hit the market in the early months of 2013.

Kid Cudi took to Twitter himself to update his fan base on everything currently crowding his plate. Indicud will drop in early 2013 with a definite release date still undecided. Cudi also revealed that Indicud will not be a double-disc project like he was considering making it to be, but will contain as many as seventeen brand new jams. After the release of Indicud, his focus will turn to helping out with comrade King Chip’s debut album, and then finally to the long-awaited Man On the Moon 3.

I personally have grown very agitated by the fact that nearly every major hip-hop album that has been released in 2012 (or was planned to be released in 2012) was delayed at some point or another. The ones that come to mind are Cruel Summer, good kid, m.A.A.d city, O.N.I.F.C.–as well as LongLiveA$AP and Indicud. My main concern is that the final product is worth the wait, but patience is a virtue that most of us music fans don’t really want to have. I don’t know about you, but I would almost rather not hear a release date for an anticipated album until it can be affirmed for sure that it will be ready for it’s planned time of release.

While on tour young A$AP Rocky dropped by Power 106 in Los Angeles to get in some time to meet with L.A. Leakers Justin Credible, DJ sourMILK and Fuzz Fantab to dish out a couple of bars. Rocky went in over Meek Mill x Kirko Bangz track “Young & Gettin’ It.“ On record Rocky has said that his debut album LongLiveA$AP has once again been pushed back to early next year…Stay tuned for more up-to-date info.
