You son of a bitch.  You would, wouldn’t you.  This isn’t the Mushroom Kingdom and you certainly aren’t Mario so put away all your dirty gold coins.  Not cool dude, not cool at all.

“Loose Change” was not easy for me to dismiss.  I watched it twice.  9/11 is an occurrence that is kind of hard to dismiss—especially if you were caught in the midst of it like me.  Three days after we received this assignment, I connected with a very dear, old friend via Facebook.  My friend lives in Nigeria.  On September 11, 2001, he lived in New York. 

After all of the pleasantries, he went on to tell me via our Facebook exchange, “isn’t it wild, but my fondest memory of you occurred on 9/11”.  Now, that’s a hell of thing to remember about a person.  What my friend Michael is referring to has to do with him connecting with me via AOL instant messenger.  Through AOL, I found out my friend was alive, and as a result I was able to let his family in Washington, DC and in Nigeria know the same. 

There was no “truthiness” in that, only truth.

For me, “Loose Change” only widens the gap of not knowing what happened that day.  If “truthiness” is the term used to define the “Loose Change” documentary, okay I guess I like the other hundreds of thousands of people I will have to go with it.  Do we really want to know what happened that day?  Adding insult to injury, if the journey into Wikipedia is much more complicated then 9/11, we’re really in trouble, aren’t we? 

As I have said in previous posts, Wikipedia is a collaborative effort.  Don’t get me wrong, like the idea of crowd-souring knowledge into one large encyclopedia, but we have to draw the line somewhere.  We should all trust Wikipedia enough to quench our curiosities, but know we can’t stop there.   Besides from what I’ve learned, Wikipedia’s “truthiness” might be to our detriment—just ask newsman John Seigenthaler.

Here’s my truth, I am more inclined to trust Encyclopedia Britannica over Wikipedia.  Perhaps, it’s generational, or maybe it’s because I know encyclopedias have been around longer, for the most part are proven, and have expert oversight.  Attempting to make Wikipedia an expert-led encyclopedia at this point in time defeats its original purpose.  If we invite the experts in, what happens to the crowd? 

Damn, just one more thing to haggle over.

Just a quick money check after these few days…Damn Facebook BeJeweled game! I curse the creator! School, study, Care Plans, Laundry, Dishes, Bills, the Outdoors….all forgotten for a computer game that I can’t win.

In June I published a post, Shot fired overhead; Glenn Beck shows his Operative stripes to spread the Infowars report on the blatant CIA PsyOps attempt to vilify 9/11 Truthers as domestic terrorists.  Glenn Beck demonstrated his true colors during his interview of a self-described former CIA operative when he spewed the blatant lie that 9/11 Truthers were complicit in the murderous act of James Wenneker von Brunn who shot and killed Stephen Jones, the guard at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C.

No amount of CIA propaganda will put the genie back into the bottle.  The fact remains that high-tech explosive materials were strategically planted within the towers before September 11th, 2001, some detonating in sub-basement levels just seconds before the first plane hit.  That media coverage of the international scientific study at the University of Copenhagen, that confirms the presence of nano-thermite in the WTC dust, is widespread in Europe is not the scope of this blog post.

This post is intended to document on this blog site another such PsyOps effort by the CIA, again aptly reported by Infowars.com).  This time the PsyOps effort is attempting to hijack the recent Fort Hood tragic shooting rampage to make it out to be reflective of the 9/11 Truth Movement.

A career Neo-Con hack with intimate ties to the CIA has shamefully exploited the tragic massacre at Fort Hood last week to smear anyone who questions the official 9/11 story as a gun-toting terrorist intent on mass murder on a par with crazed killer Nidal Malik Hasan.

In an opinion piece, UPI editor at large Arnaud De Borchgrave disgracefully claims that, “There are tens of thousands of Hasans all over the Western world — from Brussels to Berlin and from Burgos, Spain, to Birmingham, U.K.,” before making the case that anyone who dares doubt the government’s version of events on 9/11 is an extremist hell-bent on metering out “jihadi violence” like Hasan did when he gunned down scores of his colleagues.

“For them, Sept. 11, 2001, was a conspiracy cooked up by the CIA and Mossad, Israel’s external intelligence service,” writes Borchgrave.

Borchgrave’s bellicose hit piece harks back to the November 2007 hearing of the Homeland Security Subcommittee’s “Terrorism and the Internet,” which was broadcast on C-Span and chaired by California democrat Jane Harman, sponsor of the infamous HR 1955, “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007.” During the hearing, a powerpoint demonstration from Mark Weitzman of the Simon Weisenthal Center ludicrously equated Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, an organization consisting of professionals who are investigating the collapse of WTC 7 and the twin towers, with violent Islamic terrorists.

Borchgrave outlines his argument with the usual turd-load of ad hominem drivel and half-baked strawman claims. At no point whatsoever does he present any evidence that Hasan embraced 9/11 conspiracies, which would totally contradict separate reports that Hasan is linked with members of Al-Qaeda.

“Even though al-Qaida’s Osama bin Laden and his No. 2 Ajman Al-Zawahiri have both taken credit for Sept. 11, countless millions are convinced they had nothing to do with the attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon,” he writes.

If Borchgrave had bothered to do one iota of research before spewing his vitriol, he would have discovered that on numerous occasions immediately after the attacks, Bin Laden explicitly denied responsibility for 9/11.

In a statement released to the Arabic satellite channel Al Jazeera and reported on by CNN on September 17, 2001, Bin Laden said, “I would like to assure the world that I did not plan the recent attacks, which seems to have been planned by people for personal reasons. I have been living in the Islamic emirate of Afghanistan and following its leaders’ rules. The current leader does not allow me to exercise such operations.”

Asked if he carried out 9/11 by the Pakistani newspaper Ummat on September 28, 2001, Bin Laden responded, “I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle.”

The only person to “take credit” for the attacks was a dubiously fat Bin Laden lookalike who appeared on a videotape that was broadcast on December 13, 2001. Freedom Of Information Act requests attempting to validate the tape’s authenticity filed with the FBI, CIA, Department of Defense, and CENTCOM were met with a refusal to release any records. The FBI’s Most Wanted page still fails to list 9/11 on Bin Laden’s rap sheet because “the FBI has no hard evidence connecting bin Laden to 9/11,” according to FBI agent Rex Tomb.

The tape was allegedly found in a house in Jalalabad after anti-Taliban forces moved in. It featured a fat Osama laughing and joking about how he’d carried out 9/11. The video was also mistranslated in order to manipulate viewer opinion and featured “Bin Laden” praising two of the hijackers, only he got their names wrong.

This Osama also uses the wrong hand to write with and wears gold rings, a practice considered abhorrent to the Muslim faith.

A German TV Channel One investigation found that the White House’s translation of the video was inaccurate and “manipulative”. One of the experts employed by the program to study the video concluded that the translation was “Very problematic – at the most important places where it is held to prove the guilt of Bin Laden, it is not identical with the Arabic.”

“Prof. Gernot Rotter, professor of Islamic and Arabic Studies at the Asia-Africa Institute at the University of Hamburg sums it up: “The American translators who listened to the tapes and transcribed them apparently wrote a lot of things in that they wanted to hear but that cannot be heard on the tape no matter how many times you listen to it.”

In his hit piece, Borchgrave recycles a number of strawman issues that aren’t even embraced by the majority of the 9/11 truth movement in a pathetic effort to equate questioning 9/11 with Holocaust denial, which routinely serves as the last refuge of those who are losing the argument and have to resort to intimidation in an attempt to demonize the target of their attack.

Borchgrave’s motivation for smearing people who question the official version of 9/11 as crazed killers would be something of a mystery if not for the fact that, as a result of his dutiful lifelong propaganda in service of the U.S. military-industrial complex, he was tapped for recruitment by the CIA on two separate occasions and has remained in close contact with the Agency throughout his career as a journalist.

Borchgrave considered his “key, best sources of information” in the world the heads of “intelligence services in Washington, London, Tel Aviv, and Pretoria, each of which I stay in close contact with.”

Borchgrave was also affiliated with CAUSA, an “educational organization” created in New York City in 1980 by members of the Unification Church at the suggestion of Rev. Sun Myung Moon (owner of Borchgrave’s primary employers, UPI and the Washington Times), that sought to propagandize in favor of the Contra leadership during the time when they were being armed and funded by the CIA during the Iran-Contra scandal.

Borchgrave dispensed with any of the tenets of a true journalist more than 30 years ago by acting as an apologist for government deception and disinformation. In 1978, he told the Covert Action Information Bulletin that it was acceptable for authorities to oversee “management of the news” in order to “put the best face possible face” on what they were doing.

Borchgrave infamously peddled a hoax story in a crude attempt to generate support for the war in Iraq in 2003. According to SourceWatch, “Borchgrave was instrumental in laundering a story about a recanting peace-activist who “saw the light” in Iraq before the war. Although Joseph went to Iraq to protest against the impending war in 2003, while in Baghdad, he changed his mind, and now favored the war. It transpires that this was a hoax, there was no “Kenneth Joseph”, and the details can be read here.”

Borchgrave’s TV appearances are handled by Benador Associates, a public relations firm that provided enthusiastic Neo-Con cheerleaders for the war on Iraq during the now exposed Bush-Pentagon military propaganda program.

In May 2006, Benador were disgraced when it emerged that they had planted a fake story that later appeared in the National Post of Canada claiming that “Iran’s government had passed a law requiring Jewish residents to wear a yellow insignia — reminiscent of the policies of Germany’s Nazi regime.” The story was planted with the aid of Iranian exile Amir Taheri, who was later brought to the White House to consult with George W. Bush as an “expert” on the situation in Iraq.

According to the PR group’s founder Eleana Benador, planting fake stories in the media is a noble pursuit. “As much as being accurate is important, in the end it’s important to side with what’s right. What’s wrong is siding with the terrorists,” she told the Nation, who exposed the PR firm in an article entitled “Bunkum From Benador”.

As a result of his doting fealty to the U.S. war machine, some commentators have accused Borchgrave of being an outright disinformation agent, peddling his own brand of bunkum on a regular basis.

Again from SourceWatch, “William Preston and Ellen Ray wrote a history of disinformation in the U.S., and observed: “The greatest assistance in disinformation – especially during the current Administration – is always forthcoming from the Reader’s Digest. In 1977 the Times exposed Digest editor John Barron as having worked hand in glove with the CIA on a book about the KGB. Other fraudulent journalists like Robert Moss, Arnaud de Borchgrave, Daniel James, Claire Sterling, and Michael Ledeen, among others, seem to pick up disinformation themes almost automatically. In fact, coordination between the development of propaganda and disinformation themes by the covert media assets, the overt propaganda machine, and the bevy of puppet journalists is quite calculated. A theme which is floated on one level – a feature item on VOA about Cuba for example – will appear within record time as a lead article in Reader’s Digest, or a feature in a Heritage Foundation report, or a series of “exposes” by Moss and de Borchgrave or Daniel James in some reactionary tabloid like Human Events or the Washington Times or Inquirer. Then they will be called to testify by Senator Denton’s Subcommittee on Security and Terrorism, repeating one another’s allegations as “expert witnesses”.

“After that they are given credibility by the “respectable” Cold War publications like the National Review, Commentary, and the New Republic. And finally, since they have repeated the theme so many times it must be true, they are given the opportunity to write Op Ed pieces for the New York Times or the Washington Post.”

The fact that the truth movement is being attacked and equated with terrorists for suggesting high-level government involvement in 9/11 by a man who has more spook connections than James Bond and less journalistic integrity than the average National Inquirer hack should serve as a badge of honor.

Borchgrave’s inane rantings have provided us with the perfect opportunity to expose him and his ilk for exactly what they are – intellectual prostitutes for the establishment with no credibility, no facts, and an agenda completely focused around lies, deception and bias.

… and those who believe that the American government plotted the 9/11 attacks; often, for example in the extremely popular movie “Loose Change”, the collapse of the World Trade Center and a third building nearby is used as an argument to support the thesis that there was a George W. Bush-led conspiracy behind the attacks.

Do you not think that if the Bush administration hid their case so successfully such that the Democratic opposition (the people most likely to want to throw Mr Bush out of office) did not manage to use 9/11 against him, the authorities could just as well have bought Taliban airforce bombers, hired suicide bombers and attacked themselves or an ally, or just blown up the underground in New York (think London or Madrid, but blaming al-Qaeda), instead of hiding explosives inside the WTC or whatever you are accusing the government of have been doing?

If you really think that 9/11 was a set-up, do you not think that the Bush administration could just have used a couple of more aircrafts to ensure the collapse of the WTC, instead of doing something such advanced and such unpractical as hiding nanothermite in one of the most public and busy places in the world?

Fråga oss inte varför, men nu har svensk media fått för sig att 11 september-konspirationer är det som ungdomar av idag kallar “the shit”. Att det sen är fyra år sedan det hela stod på toppen i och med släppet av den första versionen av Loose Change är ju en helt annan sak. Hur som helst, lagom till att TV4:s Kalla Fakta visar ett avsnitt om den svenska 11 september-rörelsen publicerar man en opinionsundersökning (pdf). Resultatet av undersökningen pekar på att unga idag är misstror den officiella förklaringen runt 11 september-attackerna. Naturligtvis är det ingen slump att nyheten om ungdomars misstro kablas ut i våra svenska tidningar (DN, SvD, Aftonbladet, Expressen) samma dag som man sänder avsnittet.

Och naturligtvis finns det inget intresse av att ha en helt saklig förklaring, eller “debunking”, av fenomenet. Istället är det mer intressant att flörta med den här typen av rörelse och framhålla att det kan ju vara så att det ligger en konspiration bakom. För om systerkanalen sänder en “dokumentär” (och vi använder termen extremt löst) och man redan påvisat felen som lyfts fram där – ja, vem vill då titta?

Så, för att göra det jobb som TV4 borde ha gjort mer av presenteras här nedan en enklare genomgång av programmet och förklaringar till de påståenden som förekommer genom programmet. För den som själv vill se programmet så återfinns det på TV4 Play. Låtom oss börja…

Första konkreta påståendet kommer från Vaken.ses grundare, Mikael Cromsjö:

Det finns ju väldigt… väldigt konkreta bevis just att 11 september var nån form av insiderjobb. Och eh… det kan man se till exempel i analyser av resterna från World Trade Center, att man kan hitta spår av sprängämnen där.

Vad herr Cromsjö åsyftar är den “undersökning” som Harrit et al. gjorde på damm som ska komma (ej verifierbart) från World Trade Center. Där hävdar Harrit et al. att man hittar indikationer på att så kallad “nanotermit” skulle kunna ha använts. För det första är termit inget sprängmedel, så herr Cromsjö har fel i detta. För det andra så är det endast Harrit et al. som påstår sig ha hittat termit i resterna, ingen har kunnat verifiera deras påståenden, ingen har fått reda på vem som granskat deras resultat och resultaten har ej heller publicerats i en vetenskaplig tidsskrift. För förhållandevis komplett genomgång av hela cirkusen kring “nanotermit” och professor Harrit rekommenderas den här artikeln på bloggen 11 Settembre.

Härnäst är det TV4 som kommer med ett påstående som inte är direkt kontrollerbart, då källa saknas:

I New York är sanningsrörelsen stark. En opinionsundersökning har visat att varannan New York-bo tror att regeringen kände till attackerna i förväg.

Som sagt, svepande påståenden som det här ovan är naturligtvis svåra att kontrollera. Dock kan vi göra vissa antaganden, baserat på vilka som undersökts (New York-bor) och reslutatet (hälften tror på statlig inblandning).

Högst troligt är det Zogby-undersökningen från 2004 som TV4 hänvisar till. Intressant att notera är att undersökningen var beställd av ett antal av de så kallades sanningsrörelserna:

SPONSOR: 911truth.org is a coalition of researchers, journalists and victim family members working to expose and resolve the hundreds of critical questions still swirling around 9/11… The Zogby International poll was also cosponsored by Walden Three (walden3.org) and 9/11 Citizens Watch (911citizenswatch.org)

Inte ett problem i sig kanske, även om det är ironiskt att åberopa något som är beställt av den egna intressensfären (“vem tjänar på det”-argumentet är vanligt förekommande inom rörelsen annars).

Efter detta kommer nästa påstående från TV4:

… att FBI fortfarande inte har efterlyst Osama Bin Laden specifikt för 11 september-attackerna, bara för andra terrordåd i Afrika.

För att vara lat tar vi och citerar från vår lathundsartikel om 11 september-attackerna:

Skälet till att Osama Bin Laden inte stämplas för 11 september-attackerna på FBIs webbplats är på grund av Bin Laden ej har formellt delgivits misstanke utpekats som misstänkt för detta brott. Han är eftersökt på de formella anklagelserna om delaktighet i bombattackerna mot två av USAs ambassader.

Denna hantering är i enlighet med hur FBI jobbar. ”Kelley [anm: tidigare delstatsåklagare i New York] said the issue is a matter of legal restrictions and the need to be fair to any defendant… If I were in government, I’d be troubled if I were asked to put up a wanted picture where no formal charges had been filed, no matter who it was”.

TV4 fortsätter:

Det påstås också att vicepresident Dick Cheney personligen förhindrade att militära stridsflygplan beordrades upp för att kontrollera eller skjuta ner det kapade flygplanet på väg mot Pentagon. Påståendet byggs på ett vittnesmål från de officiella förhören.

… varpå ett klipp spelas upp från “dokumentären” Loose Change där ordväxlingen återfinns. Som vanligt när man har att göra med konspirationsförespråkare så väljs och vrakas det friskt kring vad man citerar. Till exempel älskar de att ta fram Minetas kommentar kring “does the order still stand?”. Men vad de inte drar fram är vad som sägs strax efter:

MR. MINETA: And so I was not aware that that discussion had already taken place. But in listening to the conversation between the young man and the vice president, then at the time I didn’t really recognize the significance of that.

And then later I heard of the fact that the airplanes had been scrambled from Langley to come up to DC, but those planes were still about 10 minutes away. And so then, at the time we heard about the airplane that went into Pennsylvania, then I thought, “Oh, my God, did we shoot it down?” And then we had to, with the vice president, go through the Pentagon to check that out.

…

MR. HAMILTON: But there very clearly was an order to shoot commercial aircraft down.

MR. MINETA: Subsequently I found that out.

Alltså; ordern man pratar om handlar alltså om det precis motsatta mot vad manhävdar från foliehatthållet. Det fanns alltså en order om att skjuta ned planen. Men att Tv4 kollar upp sådant är ju naturligtvis för mycket begärt, fler klick bort på Google.

Och apropå att kolla upp saker, Tv4 tar sig an den ack så uttjatade WTC 7-kollapsen:

Men Loose Change lägger störst vikt vid mysteriet kring byggnad 7 i World Trade Center. På eftermiddagen den 11 september, nästan sju timmar efter tvillingtornens kollapser, rasar också 47-våningshuset ihop. Utan att ha träffats av något flygplan.

…

I regeringens utredning fanns ingen förklaring till byggnad 7-kollapsen. Losse Change presenterar en egen. Det handlar om en så kallad “kontrollerad rivning”. Enbart sprängmedel kan orsaka kollapser som den här, och tittaren får själv jämföra med andra, kontrollerade rivningar.

Det här är en äkta face palm-stund. Att lägga fram kollapsen som ett “mysterium” (inklusive ominuös musik) är förbannade dumheter. Det enda mysteriet är väl varför det fortfarande anses vara en konspiration kring byggnadens kollaps. Varför? Därför att byggnaden stod i vägen för rasmassorna från WTC 1 (se t.ex. detta foto) och brann kraftigt under dagen.

Vad som är både tragiskt och komiskt är det faktum att TV4 verkar läsa rakt av från Loose Changes manus, för de har inte direkt tittat i NISTs (myndigheten som utredde kollapsen) rapport. För den som orkar är det bara att läsa kapitel 4.2 (sidan 47) i rapporten (pdf-varning), det kapitlet sammanfattar orsakerna till varför huset kollapsade. Annars tar vi bara och klistrar in sammanfattningen från NISTs hemsida:

The extensive three-year scientific and technical building and fire safety investigation found that the fires on multiple floors in WTC 7, which were uncontrolled but otherwise similar to fires experienced in other tall buildings, caused an extraordinary event. Heating of floor beams and girders caused a critical support column to fail, initiating a fire-induced progressive collapse that brought the building down.

Vill man förkovra sig i WTC 7 rekommenderas Debunking 911s sida om just denna byggnad och konspirationsteorierna kring huset. Där avhandlas rastider, påståenden om sprängningar och så vidare. Föga förvånande finns det ingen grund i att försöka sammankoppla vanliga rivningsmetoder med husets kollaps.

Tyvärr gör Kalla Fakta inte saken bättre när man försöker göra det enkelt för sig och likställa 11 september-konspirationerna med killarna bakom “dokumentären” Loose Change. Förutom att man använder sig av det något konstiga uttrycket “… har filmen klickats 150 miljoner gånger” så är det en blåögd, intetsägande intervju av regissören (eller vad man nu ska kalla honom) Dylan Avery. Men inget konkret i detalj, så vi går vidare.

En kortare intervju görs med David Ray Griffin, en pensionerad teolog, som lägger fram teorin att det skulle varit sprängmedel som sänkte byggnaderna. Det skulle, enligt honom, inte finnas några andra sätt. Detta påstående föranleder Kalla Fakta-gänget att besöka Malmö där Niels Harrit (se ovan, om nanotermit) föreläser. Återigen, läs den här artikeln för en genomgång kring påståendet om nanotermit.

Denna gång blir man dock lite glad, för TV4 visar sig ha kontaktat kvinnan som var redaktör för den tidsskrift som Harrit et al. publicerade sin artikel i, Marie-Paule Pileni. Hon förnekar att hon såg eller fick besked från granskarna av artikeln innan publicering, vilket gör att den inte kan sägas vara vetenskaplig.

I still found the article badly written. And it is not objective.

Och om man fortfarande tror att Bentham är en seriös publikation kan man ta sig en läsning om hur en artikel fylld med nonsens kunde få publiceras… för pengar. Utöver redaktören har Kalla Fakta kontaktat två icke namngivna sprängämnesexperter som får uttala sig om artikeln. Omdömena är inte direkt positiva, för Harrit et al. det vill säga:

Med tanke på nanotermiternas låga densistet skulle det innebära volymer motsvarande flera kontor proppfulla med nanotermit. Hur skulle man kunna föra in detta i byggnaderna obemärkt?

Och med detta påstående så vidtar programmets avrundning.

Sammanfattning

Det började halvdant, blev påtagligt sämre, men slutade på en klart mer informativ ton. Så kan man sammanfatta Kallas Faktas program om sanningsrörelsen. Eller… var det ett program om sanningsrörelsen? Njae, det kan man knappast påstå.

Med snabba hopp mellan Vaken.se, David Ray Griffin, Loose Change och Niels Harrit får man känslan av att det är en liten klick som styr över alla truthers på nätet. Detta är naturligtvis långt ifrån sanningen. Istället handlar det om en rörelse där man är måna om att lyfta fram det som kan uppfattas som legitimt (Harrits professorstitel t.ex.) och/eller hamnar i blickfånget (Loose Change). Det finns inga formella ledare för den här rörelsen, istället handlar det om en löst sammanhållna grupperingar där extremhöger och -vänster samsas med islamister, UFO-förespråkare, allmänna konspirationsteoretiker och helt enkelt vanliga tvivlare.

Erfarenhet säger att det inte hjälper att påpeka felen för de hårdast troende. När t.ex. BBC konfronterar David Avery, mannen bakom Loose Change, med det faktum att han inte citerar ett helt uttalande i sin film och på så sätt ändrar innebörd är hans kommentar “jaja, det får stå för honom [anm: den som citeras]“. Vad man däremot kan hoppas på är att folk som känner sig tveksamma eller undrande ser till att kolla upp påståenden, kolla upp kopplingar och utpekade samband. Se om de stämmer och om man har, som ovan, citerat korrekt.

För det är vad det handlar om här, se om saker och ting stämmer och att tänka kritiskt. Det är vad vi skulle vilja hävda det största problemet idag med dessa rörelser (inte bara “sanningsrörelsen”), de som tror på konspirationen gör sig inte besväret att kolla upp källor. Istället tror man på det som rapas upp på det otal konspirationssidor som finns ute på nätet. Man inser inte att citatet är kringskuret för att ta bort det som motsäger konspirationsteorin, man inser inte att man drar slutsatser som inte stöds av materialet. Kritiskt tänkande är, i den rörelsen, en enkelriktad gata. Åt det “officiella” hållet gäller total blockering, ingenting släpps igenom. Kraven på bevisningen är abnormt, för att inte säga omöjligt, hög. Åt andra hållet, den väg som konspirationen färdas, är å andra sidan helt vidöppen. Här godtas okända vittnesmål, hörsägen och analyser gjorda av glada lekmän.

Para muitas pessoas, as teorias de conspiração são a verdade que ninguém quer ver. Algumas delas fazem sentido, já outras parecem roteiros cinematográficos tirados de filmes de ficção científica.

Por que essas teorias existem?

Na minha opinião, algumas teorias mostram o nosso sonho de fazer parte de algo grandioso,  já outras realmente podem apresentar a verdade, quando a teoria oficial de algum acontecimento contém falhas e/ou informações dúbias.

A teoria da conspiração é ridicularizada ultimamente,  já que muitas teorias se mostraram absurdas, entretanto há teorias bem lógicas, que nos fazem pensar. Um exemplo de teoria lógica é sobre os atentados de 11 de setembro (atenção, só porque é uma teoria lógica não significa que seja a versão verdadeira – links aqui, aqui e aqui) .

Na minha opinião, as teorias de conspiração tem uma importância significativa, mostrando que a população não aceita tudo o que os meios de comunicação “enfia goela abaixo” (tá, muitas pessoas ainda são bem alienadinhas, mas a parcela de contestadores está aumentando).

Pretendo falar bastante sobre teorias conspiracionistas, é um assunto que gosto muito, visto que mostra um modo diferente de ver os fatos. É importante filtrarmos as informações que recebemos diariamente, só devemos tomar cuidado para que a desconfiança não nos domine.
