Aca no desperto demaciados ruidos el asunto,solo los necesarios,criticos que ni siquiera quisieron ser mencionados dicen que Leonel recibio una sopa del amargo chocolate que ofrecio en su sexenio a los opositores y despues a los amigos entre ellos RODIMIRO AMAYA.

Eso de que Yuan quiso meter a la carcel al ex gobernador por andar en carro robado suena a burla maniaca pues existen motivos mas valederos y fuertes que podrian tener en prision al nativo de Santiago empero independiente a esto la gente ve un pleitesillo entre “Psicopatas y Gangsters” de la politica sudcaliofrniana.

Les gusta hacer enojar a su patriarca político Leonel Cota Montaño.

Es la segunda ocasión en que el ex gobernador Leonel Cota Montaño es agredido en la ciudad de Loreto por la policía municipal en un lapso de dos meses. La lógica nos dice que una vez posiblemente se valga, pero dos en una ciudad tan pequeña no puede ser casualidad.

Lo que se observa es que Narciso Agúndez Montaño no ha metido las manos para defender al patriarca político de la familia y es que hace un par de meses, en sesión cerrada del Consejo Estatal Perredista celebrada en La Paz, Leonel Cota Montaño arremetió contra el alcalde de Loreto Yuan Yee Cunningham a quien calificó de malagradecido y traidor.

La humillación sufrida por el alcalde perredista fue debido a que los policías municipales loretanos habían interceptado en el mes de septiembre a Cota Montaño conduciendo un automóvil con vidrios polarizados.

de los asuntos generales, frente a su primo Narciso y los principales funcionarios estatales y municipales, increpó abiertamente y de frente a un disminuido Yuan Yee Cunningham que dada su ignorancia y novatez no tuvo argumentos retóricos para defenderse de la regañada y humillación.

Y es que los municipales en aquella ocasión, detuvieron a Leonel Cota Montaño y lo remitieron a una sub comandancia donde por poco lo encarcelan.

Desde luego que en esa ocasión Narciso no intervino a favor de su alcalde. Prefirió guardar silencio pues en el fondo, la increpación de Leonel parecía justificada.

Pero la historia se vuelve a repetir, tal y como nos ilustra hoy sábado el periódico “Tribuna de Los Cabos”, que da cuenta del sainete de la noche del viernes de Leonel Cota Montaño y los policías municipales de Loreto ocurrido después de la inauguración de las oficinas del Frente Democrático Sudcaliforniano en la capital de las californias, aproximadamente a las 9 de la noche cuando concluyó la reunión política.

Y el método fue el mismo, los municipales detienen a Leonel Cota para revisar “si su carro no tiene reporte de robo”.

De acuerdo al director de la municipal loretana, Flavio Amador Hernández, uno de los automóviles de la comitiva leonelista tenía reporte de robo, presuntamente el conducido por un sobrino del ex gobernador. Por eso utilizaron dos patrullas para interceptar. Luego de un alegato Leonel se enfila en su automóvil rumbo a Nopoló donde, según cita el periódico dijo: “no hay nada irregular, todo es causa de este sicópata alcalde”. Remata diciendo que Yuan Yee “es un gángster de la política”.

¿Se trata esto de la venganza de Yuan Yee Cunningham contra su maestro?, ¿Lo hizo el alcalde por consigna de Narciso Agúndez Montaño?… El tiempo lo dirá.

Si è svolto ieri a Loreto il convegno dall’accattivante titolo «Fede e tecnologia: una convergenza a sostegno della preghiera», organizzato dalla Delegazione pontificia per il Santuario della Santa Casa. L’occasione (oltre che per fare il punto della situazione in merito) è stata anche propizia per presentare quello che è già stato definito il ‘Facebook della preghiera’, un social network d’incontro e dialogo tra fedeli di tutto il mondo, per pregare ovunque e in qualunque momento della giornata e ispirato proprio al santuario di Loreto.

Come spiegato dallo stesso arcivescovo Giovanni Tonucci presentando l’iniziativa “all’inizio, un anno fa, si è sperimentato il rosario elettronico, un piccolo apparecchio che io stesso porto con me in macchina. È stato un successo, così si è pensato di aprirsi a nuovi orizzonti, attraverso i cellulari: in fondo anche l’uso della corona per recitare il rosario fu un primo passo tecnologico, e ora ne compiamo un altro a sostegno della preghiera…”.    Vincenzo Coccoli di Euro Digital Equipment, l’azienda che ha realizzato il Rosario Digitale (qui una sua breve intervista) aggiunge che “si tratta di un innovativo progetto digitale di supporto alla fede, concepito per mettere contemporaneamente in contatto più persone e dar loro la possibilità di aggregarsi in gruppi di preghiera”.  L’applicazione è accessibile gratuitamente all’indirizzo www.prexcommunion.com (dove sono  presenti i contributi registrati di monsignor Giovanni Tonucci, che lo introduce ed impartisce la benedizione finale) e a pagamento dai cellulari più evoluti o dagli Smart-Phone. Vota Cinquant’anni e non sentirli. Si è svolta ieri mattina nell’aula magna dell’Università cattolica la celebrazione dei cinquant’anni del riconoscimento dell’Oftal di Milano, voluta dall’allora cardinal Montini. Numerosi i pellegrinaggi organizzati nel corso dell’anno, principalmente a Lourdes ma anche in altri luoghi mariani come Fatima e Loreto e in Terra Santa. L’ultimo viaggio verso Gesuralemme, partito pochi giorni fa, ha portato sui luoghi della vita di Gesù un gruppo di disabili.

Ma il cuore dell’opera Oftal resta la grotta di Massabielle. E per ricordare l’attività di accompagnamento dei malati a Lourdes e le prospettive per il futuro, sono intervenuti il vescovo di Pavia, Giovanni Giudici, amico dall’Oftal fin da quando era parroco a Milano, e i vaticanisti Luigi Accattoli (Corriere della Sera) e Andrea Tornielli (Il Giornale).

Alla manifestazione hanno portato il loro saluto il presidente della Regione, Roberto Formigoni, e il presidente della Provincia, Guido Podestà. Formigoni ha ringraziato gli oftaliani per la loro testimonianza, ricordando che «l’impegno nel volontariato e nella solidarietà sono iscritti nel dna dei milanesi e dei lombardi». Podestà ha insistituto «sull’esempio di valore per i giovani» offerto da coloro che accompagnano i malati in pellegrinaggio. Nel suo intervento, il vescovo Giudici ha ricordato l’importanza dell’essere «insieme nel compiere il gesto del pellegrinaggio».

Accattoli ha parlato del ruolo del laico nella Chiesa e di come la testimonianza più importante sia «quella dell’amore e della carità» e ha fatto notare come la valorizzazione dei laici sia «l’insegnamento conciliare che ancora aspetta di essere pienamente applicato». L’Oftal è appunto un’associazione ecclesiale di laici. Infine Tornielli si è concentrato sulle sfide con le quali si confrontano i cristiani oggi nella società, ricordando l’ideologia della tecnica, l’emergenza educativa, il confronto con altre religioni e culture: «I cristiani oggi spesso si sentono minacciati ma devono sempre riconoscere che è Dio che guida la storia.

Oggi c’è bisogno di testimoni che mostrino l’abbraccio di misericordia e di amore in un mondo che è fatto di isolamento e solitudine».

Hemos captado informacion todavia extraoficial en el sentido de que ya se viene preparando para diciembre otra gran cerrera ilegal en el TASTE LOS DIVISADEROS DE LORETO y participaran en ella cuadras del estado,del municipio y se cree que al menos tres de talla internacional acudiran al evento.

Se habla de la cuadra de San Pedro y de un tal Lenel dizque dueño de los mejores caballos del estado practicamente cruza de pegaso y venado.

El borrego dice que las apuestas a cruzar seran de MILLON DE DOLARES ARRIBA y llegaran gringos de TEXAS,CALIFORNIA,NUEVO MEXICO,ARIZONA,ARKANZAS,etc.etc.

Afirman los decires que en COMONDU los corredores locales estan haciendo su vaquita para traerse por lo bajito unos DIEZ MILLONES DE PESOS y entrarle con 100 mil dolares en favor de una yegua loretana de la cual se espera gran actuacion porque esta recien traida ,costo 2 millones de dolares y viene de ganar en los mas afamAdos tastes de la republica.

No se sabe aun de quien es ni donde esta pero eso es lo que salio de ciertos caballerangos muy metidos en el tema.

Desde hace varios meses se vienen sucediendo similares situaciones con adolescentes de otros rincones de la provincia de Santiago del Estero, por lo que la alerta se extendió a distintas áreas educativas, cuyas autoridades están trabajando junto con los docentes en la elaboración de estrategias para prevenir y actuar en estos casos.

The majority of action is taking place within the Branch leagues, this weekend but there are also two ESB Irish Junior Cup matches getting underway this Saturday when Cork C of I II take on Galway II and Pegasus II take on Randalstown II the winner of each will go on to join the rest of the teams in the next round on November 14th.

Firstly to Leinster Men and Pembroke who had their closest match this season against YMCA where they just secured the victory at 2-1 will be keen to keep their winning ways on tack when they play hosts Fingal on Saturday. Railway Union who will be licking their wounds after a four nil defeat to Fingal will have a chance to redeem themselves on Saturday when they take on Monkstown who will be buoyed by their 5-2 win over Clontarf last Saturday. Clontarf who have yet to register their first points this season will have a tough job to do it this weekend when they take on the Glens who have a perfect three from three so far. Meanwhile Three Rock Rovers who dropped their first points last weekend against the Glens will be keen to re establish their winning ways when they play the UCD Students, finally Corinthian and YMCA should provide an entertaining battle at 3.30 in Whitechurch Park.

Over to the Leinster Ladies and Hermes will be keen to finally get their League Campaign underway when they take on UCD on Saturday. The Hermes girls have just one league game so far under their belt where they dropped points against local rivals Loreto. Railway Union who have been on goal scoring form of late play Glenanne who are searching for their first league points, while Corinthian will take on Pembroke Wanderers. Loreto who have a perfect three from three so far will face Trinity who have taken six from a possible nine points so far and finally on Saturday Old Alex will face Bray at 2.30pm. Sunday also offers hockey fans to catch more Leinster division 1 action when Hermes are back in action against Pembroke and Glenanne take on Old Alex.

In Ulster Men’s Hockey the One 1918 Premier League action goes full steam ahead on Friday and Saturday – Lisnagarvey will take a trip to face strugglers Bangor (Saturday 31st, 1pm, Bangor) while Banbridge face a tougher test away to Annadale’s young guns (Friday 30th, 8pm, Annadale). Cookstown have the only remaining 100% league record but this weekend they face a difficult away trip to face in form Instonians who will be hard to beat on home turf (Saturday 31st, 1pm, Shawsbridge).

The remaining fixtures are all crucial in terms of the relegation battle as Raphoe travel to north Down (Saturday 31st, 2.30pm, Comber) and Kilkeel travel to Mossley (Saturday 31st, 1pm, The Glade).

On the women’s side of the Ulster Premier Division this weeks fixtures are hard to predict with a few close encounters, firstly looking at the battle between Ards and Lisnagarvey, the match could go either way but the home advantage might just edge Ards ahead. Armagh will be keen to produce an upset when they take on Ballymoney, they are capable of beating anyone on a good day, Ballymoney although they have more experience in their ranks are failing to fire on all cylinders.
The Belfast Harlequins and Randalstown battle will be a close encounter while the Pegasus and Victorians match can only go one way in favour of Pegs against a side who have been struggling of late. Lurgan will take on Ulster Elks who have stuttered a bit lately and Lurgan have recently shown they can put the goals away.

Lettera di informazione del Segretariato Pellegrinaggi Italiani

IL CONSIGLIO DIRETTIVO – MILANO 5 OTTOBRE 2009

Lunedì 5 ottobre, presso la sala riunioni della Brevivet in Milano, si è riunito il Consiglio Direttivo dello SPI.
Dopo la preghiera iniziale, introduce i lavori il Segretario Generale che saluta e ringrazia i presenti dopo questa stagione comunque intensa; è indispensabile dare un cammino e un ‘respiro’, tenere alta l’attenzione e l’impegno. Alcune cose già programmate, altre che ancora debbono essere da noi riviste e prese in considerazione. La commissione per le nuove piscine è comunque confermata dal santuario. Il santuario afferma che proprio per questo e per altre cose, sia il Consiglio Pastorale, previsto per il 7 dicembre p.v., che le varie commissioni stanno stabilendo la nuova quota della cotisation da 3 a 5 euro. Speriamo di chiudere a 4 euro, anche perché nel nuovo progetto il personale volontario sarebbe limitato; è una ipotesi.
D’Antuoni, visto alcuni casi avvenuti recentemente, sottolinea che è necessaria una particolare attenzione al momento della distribuzione della Comunione, che è la cosa più importante.
Comunque noi come SPI, attraverso il Segretario Generale, faremo presente la cosa al prossimo consiglio pastorale; come pure chiediamo una maggior attenzione s ui volo n t a r i e l’hospitalitè, etc.
Prima di procedere con l’ordine del giorno previsto, Franco Belardo, Segretario Verbalizzante, dà lettura del verbale del Consiglio Direttivo del 26 maggio u.s., tenutosi a Pompei, che viene approvato all’unanimità senza alcuna variazione.
In merito alla lettura del verbale, Gozzini informa della questione dei diritti d’autore circa i testi biblici, che la CEI vuole concedere annualmente, si sta verificando la possibilità di avere un mandato triennale, tale decisione verrà resa a conoscenza dell’Assemblea di Loreto 2010.
Circa le giornate di spiritualità a Santiago, tra confermati e opzioni siamo a 70 pax; si decide di effettuare un giro di telefonate per conferme almeno degli associati SPI, che ancora non hanno aderito.

Don Mainini, illustra il programma rivisto con i tempi di trasferimento, come precedentemente concordato in sede di consiglio direttivo a Pompei.
Per quanto concerne il programma dell’assemblea di Santiago, si affronterà quanto segue: presentazione e approvazione del bilancio previsionale 2010; verifica e problemi stagione pellegrinaggi 2009; prospettive e urgenze.
Per quanto concerne l’assemblea ordinaria di Loreto, si prevede il seguente programma di massima.

Dopo cena si prevede un incontro culturale – artistico con ausilio di immagini sul rapporto casa Nazareth, casa Loreto.
27 gennaio 2010: Celebrazione Eucaristica a seguire intervento di don Mario Lusek, ufficio CEI sul progetto di convegno unitario; intervento di un componente del comitato per il Congresso Eucaristico Nazionale, Ancona 2011; interventi dei Rettori di Lourdes e Fatima.
Il Segretario Generale, introduce il punto dell’O.d.G. circa gli incontri tenuti a Roma con il presidente della commissione trasporti europea, l’on. Antonio Tajani, che ha dimostrato buona disponibilità e ascolto invitando a recarsi a Bruxelles per un incontro più ampio con alcuni componenti della commissione stessa. Circa la riunione di Bruxelles, è andato a nome del Segretario Generale, Enrico Tricerri, membro della commissione trasporti SPI.
Il Segretario Generale, illustra il progetto “Siloé” circa l’argomento delle nuove piscine.
Prima di concludere la riunione, il Segretario Generale informa delle seguenti situazioni: la diocesi di Lodi, tramite il suo ufficio pellegrinaggi, ha chiesto di essere ammessa allo SPI, la documentazione fornita è idonea all’ammissione; l’associazione no profit Cieli nuovi, ha inviato un’e-mail per richiede come aderire allo SPI, a mezzo e-mail abbiamo inviato testo con articolo statutario di documentazione necessaria per adesione; l’Opera Calabrese Pellegrinaggi, aveva scritto nel mese di giugno per avere alcune delucidazioni, a cui il segretario generale aveva risposto con lettera in data 11 giugno u.s. Nel mese di agosto don D’Alessandro, scriveva un’e-mail chiedendo il congelamento dell’adesione allo SPI, perché le risposte date non risultano esaustive.
Il Consiglio Direttivo a tal proposito delibera di scrivere all’organizzazione in riferimento, dichiarando che non è possibile “congelare” l’adesione, quindi verrà recessa e informata l’Assemblea che ne aveva deliberato l’aggregazione come membro.
Prima di concludere i lavori don Luciano ricorda che il prossimo incontro del Consiglio Direttivo si terrà il 26 gennaio 2010, a Loreto.
Alle ore 13:30, esauriti gli argomenti previsti all’O.d.G., il Segretario Generale dichiara chiusa la seduta del Consiglio ringraziando tutti i presenti.

Irish International Cathy McKean has announced her decision to retire from the international arena after nine years playing at the highest level. McKean who amassed an impressive 130 caps throughout her Irish career was well known for her passion, pace and determination in the attacking zones.

McKean first pulled on the green jersey in June 2000 against fellow Celts Scotland and before long she was playing a key role in the Irish set up, securing her 50th cap against the USA in Argentina in 2006 and just two year’s later she became a centurion at the 2008 Olympic Qualifiers in Victoria when she lined out against Canada; McKean marked both these occasions in style by netting a goal in each. McKean has played a role in some of her country’s most important tournaments, a highlight of which was the 2005 European Nations Championship in front of her home crowd in Dublin and most recently in what was to be her last international tournament, the 2009 Europeans in Amsterdam in which Ireland finished in fifth position.

When McKean announced her decision we asked her to describe her experience as an International Hockey Athlete and if the commitment was worth it, McKean, 30, spoke with passion “The experience has given me moments of heart bursting pride, stomach tingling excitement, and crushing disappointment” “But yes it has absolutely been worth it. I have no regrets, I loved it.”

Coach Gene Muller, who has coached with McKean for the last three years, was keen to reflect on her decision to retire “Cathy has been a powerful presence on and off the field for Ireland. Over the course of her international career, she has always been a brave and intensely committed hockey player. There is nothing ambivalent about her as a player or as a person. She will leave a powerful legacy especially to the younger forwards who were fortunate enough to play with her. She is a true character and will be missed in our team”.

Sally Ann Fanagan, Irish Manager, was also keen to pay tribute to the forward’s international career “Cathy has been one of the outstanding forwards for her club, province and country for more than a decade. She has also been a great mentor to young forwards coming through the ranks over all that time. Her experience and unique talents will be hugely missed at international level”

Cathy will not retire her hockey stick entirely and will continue to play her hockey with top Leinster side Loreto as they endeavour to defend their ESB Irish Hockey League title this season, although it sounds like she will still be keeping an eye on her former team-mates progress “Irish hockey has been a fantastic experience for me and I would like to thank the Coaches, Supporters, our Sponsors ESB, the Irish Sports Council, OCI and Sport NI and especially my team mates over the last ten years. Although I am sad to be leaving it all behind I have no regrets. The future is bright for Irish hockey and I look forward to supporting the girls in green from the sidelines”

All at the Irish Hockey Association would also like to take this opportunity to wish Cathy the best and to thank her for her unquestionable commitment over the years as an international athlete.

Today is a good day for student democracy. We’ll explain why later.

And to our friends on the right, we’d love if you’d help pass it on! We know you’re not very good at this solidarity thing yet and we know it takes practice, but take the plunge. Try it out, just this once, ‘kay?

An Open Letter from the Left to the Canadian Federation of Students

James Clark recently published an article in the Ryerson Free Press entitled “Manufacturing Crisis:” a clumsy attempt to refute the existence of an organized, national push to defederate from the Canadian Federation of Students.

He opens the article with a quote from Mark Twain: “a lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.” We suppose the implication is that Erin Hale’s article in the McGill Daily last month (along with articles written by dozens of student journalists since she broke the story) is somehow completely unfounded. In fact, Clark goes on to assert that this highly-publicized “rumour” is part of a wild conspiratorial plot by the far-right.

Twain said something equally poignant that Mr. Clark might want to take note of: “get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.” We’ll overlook the blatant ad hominem attacks (towards Brandon Wallingford, Dean Tester, Erin Hale…) and move on to the point:

James Clark is simply wrong.

We’re sorry to break it to you, but a national movement against the CFS is alive and well. Four petitions (Trent, Guelph, Carleton and Western) have already been delivered to CFS-Ontario by bailiff. We’re quite sure more are on the way.

Furthermore, we take offense to the allegation that the petition drive (the one that supposedly doesn’t exist) is “the activity of a small number of conservative dissidents.” As activists from across the left spectrum (from anarchists to social democrats), many of us collecting signatures of our own, we feel it’s about time we came out against the CFS too.

We don’t agree with the right on much, but scandal is scandal, corruption is corruption, and bullshit is bullshit, no matter where you stand politically. The CFS has alienated real activists by highjacking our campaigns, stamping glossy brands on our hard work, and attracting bad press across the country. So here’s the truth. The real student movement can’t be put on a pin or a sticker, can’t be sold to us in a bus ad, and can’t hide behind superficial and obsolete rhetoric. The CFS has been a driving force behind the active and ongoing co-optation of legitimate social justice organizing for too long. We’re fed up.

While masquerading as activists, they close journalists out of meetings, litigate ruthlessly against their critics, attempt to quash a democratic referendum process (anti-petition petitions? seriously?) and sell shamelessly corporate CFS-Services contracts to our unions behind closed doors. Don’t blame journalists–the CFS “manufactured a crisis” for themselves. While quick to pay lip service to marginalized and disenfranchised communities, evidence of actual progress is hardly forthcoming. It’s clear to us that the CFS is more interested in profit and self-preservation than any of the progressive, democratic values they espouse. The irony, of course, is that for all this talk of a united “Student Movement™” arguably the most open-source, multi-partisan and member-driven one we’ve seen has been against the Canadian Federation of Students.

Moreover, we consider the adoption of progressive campaigns by the CFS deeply problematic regardless of whether or not we agree with their stance. The reason is simple: the CFS has a clear mandate to provide a voice for all students–on student issues–at the federal level, and no matter what we think about Palestine, copyright, gender, Cuba, abortion, or land claims it is unrepresentative to speak for all students on such divisive issues. Some of us have dedicated our lives to these causes, but it’s inappropriate for a federal lobby organization to adopt these campaigns while matters of urgent importance to all students (rising tuition, accessibility, corporate control of university bodies, declining subsidies) go completely untouched.

This isn’t a question of right versus left; we’re happy to work together if we share common goals, and initiating a democratic referendum process is one of them. There are some things we can all agree on regardless of ideological differences: freedom of speech, freedom to dissent, and freedom to vote on where our money is going.

And to our sisters, brothers and lovers on the left who are not yet convinced, we implore you to do some serious research and introspection. To quote Margaret Mead, “what people say, what people do, and what they say they do are entirely different things.” Wake up: we’ve been sold a lie.
