For the week of November 22nd to November 28th 2009, there were 80 homes that closed escrow in the Greater Greenville SC real estate market. High list price for these sold homes (including Condos and Townhouses) was $1,210,000, Low list price was $16,000, Average list price was $154,386, Median list price was $135,450, and total list price volume was $12,350,881.

High sold price for these 80 sold residential homes was $1,075,000, Low sold price was $8,200, Average sold price was $146,425, Median sold price was $131,450, and total sold price volume was $11,714,051. High Days on Market (DOM) was 616 days, Low DOM was 0 days, Average DOM was 82 days, and Median DOM was 57 days.

There were 28 residential homes that went under Pending or Contingency Contract status in the Greater Greenville area during this period. High list price for these homes was $499,900, Low list price was $18,900, Average list price was $158,882, Median list price was $125,300, and total volume was $4,448,700. High DOM for these Pending and Contingency contract homes was 432 days, Low DOM was 6 days, Average DOM was 97 days, and Median DOM was 57 days.

133 homes were newly listed in Greater Greenville during this period. High list price price for these homes for sale was $1,800,000, Low list price was $19,900, Average list price was $207,151, Median list price was $155,000, and total new listings volume was $27,551,208.

Kahlan (Bridget Regan) requests the help of night wisps in order to find more confessors. The night wisps find Annabelle played by guest star Aimee Teegarden (“Friday Night Lights”) who seems to be held captive in a tall tower. Richard (Craig Horner), Flynn (Michael Whalley), and Kahlan go on ahead in order to seek the girl, while Cara (Tabrett Bethell) and Zedd (Bruce Spence) head to Pomora to investigate the place that might hold the Stone of Tears. “Touched” is the fourth episode of Season 2 of “Legend of the Seeker”.

**POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD**

Richard, Kahlan, and Flynn are able to locate the place the night wisp spoke of and find that the girl they seek, Annabelle, was taken shortly after her father was poisoned by one of the servants, Tharla. The housekeeper explains in detail the origin of Annabelle’s parentage. Annabelle’s father was a D’Haran soldier who was confessed in battle by a confessor named Josephine. Before her father, Lord Callum, was confessed he was betrothed to a duchess whom he loved dearly. Although once he was confessed, Josephine took Annabelle’s father as her mate. Josephine died shortly after giving birth to Annabelle and thus releasing Annabelle’s father from her magic. Once Annabelle’s father was released, he realized all that he lost before he was confessed and he vowed that his daughter would not be given the chance to use her powers on another so he hid her from the world. Here are the rest of the episode highlights:

• Meanwhile Annabelle is brought to a cave. Tharla brings Annabelle to a sorcerer in exchange for money. The sorcerer conducts a test and uses a quillion to absorb some of Annabelle’s magic. He then uses some of the extracted magic and mixes it with his own blood. He dips a quill into the mixture and sticks someone with it and instantly that person became confessed. He orders the confessed soul to kill Tharla. Afterward Richard and Kahlan arrive to save Annabelle. Richard and Kahlan tell Annabelle to run (out of the cave) while they deal with the sorcerer’s lackeys. One of the lackeys follow Annabelle but Flynn knocks him out. Meanwhile in the cave, Richard and Kahlan continue to fight the baddies but the sorcerer escapes. Outside Annabelle and Flynn look longingly at each other, she touches his face and long and behold Flynn is suddenly confessed just as Kahlan and Richard rush out of the cave.
• Kahlan explains to Annabelle that she is a confessor and that she needs to go to Aydindril in order to be trained how to control her powers. Richard and Kahlan tell Annabelle that her father never told her of her powers and sadly he has died. Annabelle realizes that Tharla poisoned her father so that she can be sold to the sorcerer. Richard explains that the sorcerer wanted to take Annabelle’s powers but she’s safe in their company.
• Zedd and Cara are in Pomora and they find that the Stone of Tears may be buried in a tomb and the rune (the symbol on Flynn’s hand) is the key to the tomb. Darken Rahl has sent his men to try and open the tomb but they’ve failed countless of times. Now the tomb is guarded by banelings as Darken Rahl believes that the rune bearer would show up to the tomb someday.
• Richard, Kahlan, Flynn, and Annabelle have made camp for the night. Richard and Kahlan talk about how getting Flynn to Pomora may be difficult now that he is confessed. While Flynn and Annabelle chat about her dreams to see the world. Annabelle discusses with Flynn how she doesn’t want to leave his side but Kahlan said that she had to go to Aydindril while he assists Richard in Pomora. Kahlan declares that everyone should get some sleep. Flynn fetches some firewood but he comes back with a arrow stabbed in his shoulder stating that the sorcerer has returned. Richard and Kahlan investigate but find nothing and when they return the horses are gone and that Flynn and Annabelle have fled.
• Richard and Kahlan go looking for Annabelle and Flynn. Meanwhile Flynn and Annabelle come across some bad men and she confesses one of them.
• Zedd and Cara head to the site of the tomb and they see banelings guarding it. Zedd explains to Cara that the only way to get rid of them and ensure that they don’t rise from the dead again is to burn them. Cara acknowledges the plan and tells Zedd to use his wizard’s fire on them, however Zedd is hesitant which Cara notes because it occurs to him that Cara might use her Mord Sith powers to turn his magic against him. He shares his notion that Cara may want to steal the Stone of Tears but Cara defends herself and says that wasn’t her intention. Suddenly the banelings spot Zedd and Cara and Zedd has no choice but to use his magic to get rid of the banelings with Cara’s help.
• Richard and Kahlan find Flynn and Annabelle sitting around a camp fire with a bunch of men. Richard suggest that they need to head toward Pomora, but the men attack Richard and Kahlan while Annabelle and Flynn run toward the horses. Flynn tells Annabelle that no matter where they go, Richard and Kahlan will find them. Richard and Kahlan are still engaged in battle when Annabelle confesses Richard. Kahlan tries to stop it, but it is too late. Richard is confessed!
• Kahlan attempts to kill Annabelle in order to release Richard from her magic but Richard stops her. Kahlan then threatens to kill Flynn and convinces Annabelle to instruct Flynn and Richard to go with her to Pomora.
• Later they all meet up with Zedd and Cara in Pomora. Kahlan explains to Zedd and Cara the dilemma of Richard being confessed while the rest of them are out of earshot. Kahlan then takes Annabelle away from Richard and Flynn while Zedd casts a magical shield to hold back Flynn and Richard. Richard pleads with Kahlan not to kill Annabelle and he offers an alternate plan. He suggests to find the sorcerer who tried to take her in the first place, and use his quillion to take away Annabelle’s powers which would spare her life and possibly release the hold she had on Richard and Flynn. Cara chimes in and says that they are going to great lengths to save Annabelle while putting them all in danger and volunteers to off Annabelle herself. Kahlan stops her and says that Richard once went through a lot trouble to save her (Cara’s) life, so they are going to give Richard’s plan a try. Cara then asks Kahlan what will they do if the plan fails, and Kahlan responds that she’ll “do what needs to be done” but per Zedd’s suggestion – they’re going to the tomb first.



• The tomb opens when Flynn faces his rune bearing hand toward it. Inside they find a locket similar to the one Flynn opened in the episode “Baneling”, which is how he got the rune inked on his hand in the first place. They decide that Richard should be the one to open it, but they to find the quillion so that they can use it to drain Annabelle’s powers away and thus release Richard from her magic.
• Kahlan decides that she and Cara will go after the quillion, but before they head to the sorcerer’s cave they needed a story that looked convincing. So Kahlan has Cara use her agiel on her. Afterward Cara carries Kahlan on her shoulder to the sorcerer’s cave and offers the sorcerer the Mother Confessor in exchange for money. The sorcerer is wary as he believes that Kahlan might be dead. Cara assures him that she’s alive and that he can check for himself. The sorcerer takes a closer look at Kahlan, but is caught off guard when Kahlan springs awake and she is able to confess him while Cara holds off the sorcerer’s guards. Kahlan then instructs the sorcerer to call off his guards and give her the quillion.
• Before they take away Annabelle’s powers, she suggests to Kahlan that she (Kahlan that is) should mate with Richard. Since Richard was confessed, Kahlan’s powers wouldn’t work on him and hopefully she could bear his child and continue the line of confessors. After everything is said and done, then they could use the quillion on her (Annabelle) and Richard would return to normal. Zedd actually advocates the idea as strange as it sounds.
• Annabelle instructs Richard to make love to Kahlan. Kahlan is nervous as she waits for Richard. They kiss and make out a bit but she stops him and asks him if he was doing this because he was told to, and he answers yes. Kahlan then decides she can’t go through with it.
• Kahlan explains to Annabelle she couldn’t go through with it because Richard would never use magic to force someone to do something against their will. Annabelle tries to rationalize the situation and states that Richard would want to be with Kahlan if he wasn’t confessed. Kahlan responds that since he was confessed she couldn’t make that decision for him or make him a father without his blessing. Kahlan further explains the reasons why confessors don’t chose someone they love as their mates. They use the qullion on Annabelle and it works. Both Flynn and Richard are released from Annabelle’s magic. Since Flynn’s job was done he volunteers to escort Annabelle to where ever she needs to go and they ride off together.
• Kahlan takes a moment to realize that she is the last confessor when Richard approaches her. Richard reassures her that she is not alone and they have one another (including Zedd and Cara). Richard then takes a moment and expresses to Kahlan that he understood why she couldn’t go through with “the plan” but part of him wished she would of. Kahlan tells Richard she wished she could’ve too.
• Zedd and Cara approach Richard and Kahlan. Zedd hands Richard the locket. Richard opens it and it appears to be a compass. A compass that may lead them to the Stone of Tears!

I made this lot with mods. Its red, black and white which is why I call it ‘newspaper‘. This is one of my favorite ones that I have built/designed so far. I haven’t uploaded it to The Sims 3 site because I kept getting a network error and even if I could, people would have to download all the mods that I have to actually enjoy the house like I did.

Well I haven’t played the game since my save files have totally disappeared. I’m still trying to figure out why all of my save files just magically disappeared off my computer. Save file recovery programs couldn’t even find them either. Its like the save files never existed. All it left me was the ‘BACKUP’ files and I’m sure you can’t use those. What’s weird that it didn’t delete any of the lots that I’ve created, even all the Sims I created was still there, just the save files were gone for all of my games. If that isn’t a reason to stop playing The Sims 3, I don’t know what is.

I’m not much of a landscaper but I might open up the game and do a little landscaping around the house. It does look a bit plain but its not bad…I guess. The pink and white house that’s in some of the screen shots was made by me of course and you can go here to download it. Its not made with any mods so you shouldn’t have a problem downloading it. My boyfriend said the game reminded him of Mirror’s Edge because of the random places where there are red walls.

What’s black, white and ‘read’ all over? A newspaper….Lol.

Kahlan (Bridget Regan) receives a message (in her dreams) from a dream catcher warning her that she will soon be the last of her kind. She takes it as a sign to visit her sister, however, Cara (Tabrett Bethell) tries to discourage her notions from straying from their mission. “Broken” is the third episode of Season 2 of “Legend of the Seeker”.

**POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD**

Cara shares that while under the rule of Darken Rahl, Cara and her sisters killed everyone on Valeria (the island where Kahlan’s sister went to). This information sends Kahlan in a fit of rage and thus bringing on the Con Dar. Richard sends Cara away so that she can escape Kahlan’s wrath, but once Kahlan calms down she vows she would kill Cara the next time they met. During all of the commotion, Flynn (Michael Whalley) runs off so now Richard, Zedd, and Kahlan must find Flynn. Meanwhile Cara returns to her hometown village and seeks her sister. However the local townspeople discover her identity as a Mord Sith and they capture her and put her on trial for her past actions. The townspeople call upon Kahlan, the Mother Confessor, to serve as the judge for Cara’s case. It is up to the Seeker to speak on Cara’s behalf in order to ensure a fair trial as Kahlan’s judgment may not be sound in lieu of the news that Cara killed Kahlan’s sister Dennee. Here are the rest of the episode highlights:

• Kahlan decides that the jury for Cara’s trial will be made up of three of the town’s elders. If convicted, the result would be death by confession. Confession works differently on a Mord Sith, and if confessed – it would result in death.
• Meanwhile, Zedd goes in search of Flynn who is pick pocketing in a village but is caught by a portly tradesman/merchant. It is the tradesman idea to find the Stone of Tears and sell it. Flynn goes along with the tradesman’s idea in order to avoid going to jail.
• Richard tends to prove that Cara has changed and that she is a different person than the one who use to serve Darken Rahl. Also that Cara is a victim of the Mord Sith herself because as a child, before one becomes a Mord Sith – they are first broken.
• Those who’ve attended the trial relive the tale of how Cara became a Mord Sith. Including how she was taken from her family when she was 9, tortured, and finally her admittance of killing her own father which is the final test before one becomes a Mord Sith. Before Cara killed her father, the Mord Sith reveal that her father sold her to the Mord Sith.
• Richard tries to relate the torture he suffered when he was captured by the Mord Sith (Denna) to the people at the trial to show that Cara was manipulated by the Mord Sith which turned her into what she is today because the torture she suffered as a child gave her no choice in her fate. Cara’s pride prevents her from showing her real emotions as she sticks up for her fellow Mord Sith sisters, but Richard quickly points out that her sisters were the ones who beat her and left her for dead. Richard continues to try to get remorse out of Cara and to prove that she is sorry for killing her father, and that the Mord Sith took her life from her. Cara continues to hide her true feelings when the trial is interrupted by Cara’s former school teacher who pleads on her behalf and recollects for everyone Cara’s docile manner before she was taken away by the Mord Sith. The trial is put on hold as Kahlan requests to talk to Richard in private. Kahlan reveals to Richard that she didn’t trust the school teacher because she could not read her. The only people Kahlan could not read were Mord Sith due to their training. (The plot thickens…)
• Cara reveals the school teacher was a Mord Sith and not just any Mord Sith, but the woman who “trained” her to become a Mord Sith. The school teacher is arrested and it is revealed that she was responsible for the disappearance of 12 girls from the town over the years.
• The elders have made their decision and they have decided to sentence both the school teacher and Cara to death by confession.
• Meanwhile Flynn and the tradesman are drinking by a fire. Flynn keeps yammering on and drinking when all of a sudden he becomes paralyzed. The tradesman slipped something in Flynn’s drink because he wants to chop off Flynn’s rune bearing hand. Before the tradesman gets ready to chop, there is a noise in the bushes. Flynn starts to call for help but the tradesman gags him to investigate the sounds. When the tradesman disappears into the bushes and out of Flynn’s site…we find out it was Zedd in disguise! Zedd then comes out of the bushes and pretends to save Flynn.
• The school teacher is confessed by Kahlan first. The school teacher admits some facts about Cara’s father. She admits that she tortured Cara’s father for weeks as they wanted him to tell Cara that he sold her to the Mord Sith. Cara’s father wouldn’t admit to such a lie so the Mord Sith burned his throat which took away his ability to speak. So when Cara’s father was questioned in front of her (Cara) in regards to whether or not he sold her to the Mord Sith, he wasn’t able to speak the truth. The school teacher dies afterward.
• Cara is saddened but she instructs Kahlan to confess her because she felt (Cara) that she deserved it.
• Kahlan places her hand on Cara’s throat, but Cara then sheds a tear. Kahlan looks at her and takes her hand away and tells the townspeople that she has seen Cara’s remorse and she has decided that Cara doesn’t deserve the fate the town has deemed on her and has overruled their decision.
• The townspeople are upset and decide that they will take matters into their own hands and they attempt to kill Cara. Richard and Kahlan fight off a few townspeople but they cease fighting when one of the townspeople point a crossbow right at Kahlan demanding her to confess Cara or else he’ll kill Kahlan and then Cara finally. In a swift move, Richard breaks Cara’s restraints and Cara kicks the crossbow out of that guy’s hands. Richard then corners him and announces to the townspeople that the Mother Confessor’s word is final!
• Kahlan is off collecting her thoughts when Richard approaches her. She asks the whereabouts of Cara, and Richard tells her that he and Cara decided that it would be best that Cara went her separate way so that Kahlan wouldn’t be reminded of what Cara has done. Kahlan is conflicted because Cara saved her life. Richard thanks Kahlan for being fair and for sparing Cara’s life even after learning the fact that Cara killed Kahlan’s sister Dennee. Kahlan recalls the thoughts that ran through her head when the crossbow was pointed at her which made her think of the dream catcher’s message. If Kahlan dies, the line of the confessors will perish. Richard reassures Kahlan and tells her that he wouldn’t let anything happen to her.
• Zedd and Flynn rejoin Richard and Kahlan. Flynn is all hugs for everyone seeing that he thought he was going to die by the hands of the tradesman (who was Zedd in disguise).
• Cara packs her things and her and sister have a heartfelt moment and Cara promises her sister they will see each other again.
• Kahlan and the others approach Cara. Kahlan asks Cara to rejoin their quest because if something ever happened to her, she wanted Cara to protect Richard. However, Kahlan states she would never forgive Cara for what she did.

Greater Greenville South Carolina Real Estate Market Conditions, Homes Sold, Listings and Homes for Sale – October 2009

In October 2009, there were a total of 596 residential single family homes including condo and townhouses sold in the Greater Greenville real estate market. This number is only one home less than the 597 homes that were sold in September 2009, but is 89 homes higher than the 507 homes sold in October 2008. Average price for these sold homes in October 2009 was $157,747, Median sold price was $137,000, and total sold price volume for October was $94,017,472. Average Days on Market(DOM) for October was 95 days, which is 7 days less than 105 days average DOM for September 2009. Greater Greenville includes Greenville, Simpsonville, Greer, Easley, Fountain Inn, Mauldin, Taylors, Travelers Rest, Piedmont, Landrum, Marietta, pelzer, some parts of Spartanburg County, Anderson County, Pickens County, Laurens County, and Oconee County).

Year to date from January 1st to October 31st 2009, there has been 5643 residential single family homes sold in the Greater Greenville real estate market. Average year-to-date sold price was $167,185, Median sold price was $140,000, and the total year-to-date sold volume was $943,423,701. Year-to-date DOM as of October 31st 2009 was 102 days.

As of November 10th 2009, 12 Month average units sold in Greater Greenville was 523 units. Average sold price was $168,633, Median sold price was $141,529, total sold volume was $88,183,958, and average DOM was 104 days.

There were a total of 6657 residential single family homes Actively for sale as of November 10th 2009. This is 88 homes less than the 6745 homes that were active as of October 10th 2009, which means that Greater Greenville inventory was reduced by 88 homes last month. Average list price for the active homes as of November 10th was $263,791, Median list price was $185,000, total list price volume was $1,756,057,797, and average DOM was 154 days.

The decrease in inventory, and average days on market can be attributed to the help $8,000 Home Buyer Tax Credit. This tax credit was supposed to expire on November 30th 2009, but has been extended April 30th 2010. The Home Buyer Tax Credit has also been expanded to move-up buyers who have occupied their home as a primary residence for at least five years. These move-up buyers will be eligible for a $6,500 tax credit.

Universal is facing a potential PR mess for its decision to digitally remove the names and images of the only black couple in ‘Couples Retreat’ on the film’s UK movie poster.

According to England’s The Daily Mail, a Universal spokesman said the updated ad was released “to simplify the poster to actors who are most recognizable in international markets.”

But some are calling foul on the complete removal of actors Kali Hawk and Faizon Love from the film’s poster. “I think this was an ill-conceived move,” Mediawatch-UK director Vivienne Pattison told the Mail. “We celebrate diversity in Britain and we could have coped with seeing the same poster used in America.”

In the U.S. version, all eight principal stars, including Hawk and Love, are seen standing knee-deep in water with their names displayed above. For the UK version, a different backdrop is shown with only the six (white) actors and actresses on display.

“Any discrepancy between the posters is cause for alarm because it makes racist assumptions about target markets,” says Ann Simonton, founder of the non-profit organization Media Watch. “But this is a somewhat common response to how advertisers target audiences. So much of advertising depends on our ignorance and it’s important for the consumer to remain ignorant. When they eliminate diversity, it maintains this false view of our world. It’s sickening to think about what the industry’s motives are, but it’s important that they be called on it.”

Daily Mail film critic Jason Solomons weighed in over the weekend, noting, “We don’t cater much for the black cinema-going audience in this country, which is a great shame, so it seems strange that when there are black stars in a major feature film, this fact isn’t promoted. And, in terms of business decisions, this seems a pretty counter-productive one.”

For its part, Universal has acknowledged the omission, saying it regretted offending anyone and is abandoning plans to use the revised poster in other countries.
But you have to wonder: If they regretted offending anyone, why would they alter the poster in the first place?

Richard (Craig Horner), Kahlan (Bridget Regan), Zedd (Bruce Spence), and Cara (Tabrett Bethell) begin their search for the Stone of Tears, however, Zedd and Kahlan are still getting use to the idea of a Mord Sith joining their quest. Zedd reassures Kahlan that if Richard trusts Cara, then they have to trust the Seeker’s judgment.

**POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD**

Richard is observing the mark of the Keeper on his chest when Kahlan comes and asks if the mark hurts. Richard says that “it’s nothing”, but Kahlan points out that when a spirit sends you a message from beyond the grave, it isn’t exactly something you can ignore. Richard is determined and reiterates their mission is to find the Stone of Tears and repair the veil. Here are the rest of the episode highlights:

• Richard, Kahlan, Zedd, and Cara head to a death camp in order to search for the Abbot. Meanwhile at the death camp, D’Haran soldiers are executing people and one particular D’Haran soldier questions the D’Haran General (aka The Butcher) their purpose for continuing these acts when the war was over. More hangings are about to take place when Richard, Kahlan, Zedd, and Cara storm the camp and fight and kill many of the D’Haran soldiers. Richard talks to the locals and they inquire about the Abbot of Ulrich but no one seems to know where he is. Richard then talks to one of the D’Haran soldiers and he tells Richard that the General had the Abbot executed which he tried to stop but he failed to do so. Since the Abbot is dead, Cara suggests they leave but Richard says that they can’t because the people there were scared and sick and tells Cara they should bury the bodies. When the General’s body is buried, the General wakes up in the Underworld and is greeted by Darken Rahl (Craig Parker) informing him that the Keeper would like to make him an offer.
• Kahlan makes an announcement to the people in the camp that those who are strong enough to leave are welcome to and those who are not, they will be setting up a camp just outside of the death camp. The people are scared and they are not sure where to go as Cara discloses some of the places they wish to go are already destroyed. Kahlan advises Cara to be more compassionate.
• A monk approaches Richard as he heard they were inquiring about Abbot Henry whom he was in the same parish with. Richard and Kahlan talk to the monk and they tell him about the tear in the veil and they seek Abbot Henry’s help as they heard he knew the location of the Stone of Tears. The monk mentions that the monks where a locket which is passed down from Abbot to Abbot and when they came to the death camp, the locket was taken. Richard talks to one of the soldiers and he tells them that anything valuable was collected in one box because the butcher’s plan was to leave with the riches to make new lives for him and his men. They open the treasure box and find a dead body in it. The treasure was earlier stolen by a boy claiming he wanted to bury his brother and convinces Cara to lend him a horse in order to do so.
• Away from camp, the boy opens the treasure and finds the locket and opens it. Ink spills onto his hand and it forms a symbol which doesn’t come off. The boy takes some money and hides the treasure in the forest and ventures off. Meanwhile back at camp Richard and Kahlan talk to Cara and she confirms that she lent a horse to a boy who wanted to bury his brother because Kahlan told her to be more compassionate. Suddenly screams are heard nearby and Richard and Kahlan discover many slain people and the monk who found them explains that he came to give them food and it was the work of he butcher [who killed all of those people].
• All of the people gather in the camp’s dungeon for protection and Kahlan locks the door and assigns one of the men to stand watch. No one is allowed to go in or out and she hands hims one of her daggers for protection. Richard assigns Cara to find the boy who took the treasure while Zedd and Richard investigate the butcher’s grave.
• The butcher’s grave along with the other D’Haran soldiers killed were empty and somehow they clawed their way out. Richard asks Zedd if the Keeper or Darken Rahl had the power to bring people back to life and Zedd doesn’t rule it out, but he said that a Mord Sith had the ability to bring them back from the dead. Richard then says that Cara is with them and she wouldn’t come all this way to just revive all of these soldiers with the breath of life. Suddenly a monk appears from the shadows and identifies himself as Abbot Henry.
• Back at the camp, the Abbot explains that when he died he awoke in the underworld and was greeted by Darken Rahl and was given an offer by the Keeper to return to the world of the living at an awful price and Zedd deduces that the Keeper made the Abbot into a baneling which is a dead soul that bargains for life in exchange for killing others. The Abbot only agreed to take the offer in order to secure the locket which was taken from him but just as Richard asked about it, the Abbot was being called back to the underworld (starts decaying) because he hadn’t killed anyone yet. Kahlan tries to ask what to do with the locket but the Abbot explains he spent years learning the rituals that he would need to pass on and there was simply not enough time. Richard says that they need to buy him time and instructs him that he needs to kill someone.
• Richard, Kahlan, and the Abbot head to the dungeon and Richard instructs the Abbot he needs to do this and that he would be killing a D’Haran solider. The Abbot is unsure he can perform the deed and when they open the cell door they find that all of the D’Haran soldiers have been killed.
• The Abbot quickly explains that the one who opens the locket will have a rune imprinted on his hand. They need to take the rune to the Province of Pomora because the rune is a key that would open something but before he says what he dies.
• We find the rune bearing boy with some girls when Cara interrupts them. The girls leave and Cara inquires about the treasure. The rune bearing boy refuses to speak and when Cara threatens him with torture, he says that he can take the pain. Cara then turns on the charm and comes onto the boy and he immediately tells her where the treasure is and tells the boy to take her to it. Meanwhile Richard and Kahlan try to determine what the rune is the key for when Kahlan deduces that one of the resistance fighters had the key to the dungeon (the person she assigned to keep watch) and he perhaps killed all of the D’Harans. Cara comes back with the boy and they realize they need him to come with them to Pomora. Cara locks him up in a room in order to keep him safe meanwhile Kahlan finds the man whom she thought killed the D’Harans but it turns out he didn’t kill them and he returns her dagger to her which is pristinely clean.
• Some noises occur in the night and the rune bearing boy awakes and heads to the door. When it opens a crazed woman starts stabbing him. Richard and Cara check on him but he is found dead. The key to the Stone of Tears was gone! The boy wakes up in the underworld and Darken Rahl greets him and offers him the Keeper’s offer (to become a baneling), which is to kill in exchange for life. Darken Rahl then notices the rune on his hand but the boy begins to disappear and we find Cara has given him the breath of life. The boy is clearly frightened as he tells Richard his run in with Darken Rahl but he manages to tell them who killed him. We find Kahlan talking to a woman, who was a baneling and she was the daughter of a blacksmith that is how she had copies of the keys. The woman took the Keeper’s offer so she could watch over her son William and in the beginning she killed only D’Harans but now she was starting to kill innocent people. Kahlan locks her up but the woman pleads with her to have someone watch over her son. Richard and Cara set out to look for the butcher and his men.
• Off somewhere the butcher and his men are killing people and then Darken Rahl emerges from a fire and gives them the task to find the one who bears the rune. The rune is the key to find the Stone of Tears and with it the veil could be repaired which wouldn’t be good for the Keeper, Darken Rahl, and all banelings.
• The banelings return to the camp and they try to break down the gate because they want the person who bears the rune. Richard instructs Kahlan and Zedd to get the remaining people out of there and just as the banelings enter the camp Richard fires a fire-bearing arrow at them and the banelings catch fire and they die and the whole place burns down as well.
• Zedd hands out the treasure to the survivors so they can begin to rebuild their lives. The rune bearing boy talks to Cara in order to see if they could finish their unfinished business but Cara stings him with her agiel. (Ouch!) Afterward…the crazed woman’s son William is taken by one of the monks so that they can find him a new home. On the way William stops and when the monk checks on him, William’s hands start to decay and he kills the monk. Yikes! William was a baneling!

High list price for these sold listings was $799,999, Low list price was $7,900, Average list price was $153,608, Median list price was $132,900, and total list price volume was $11,520,669.

High sold price was $675,000, Low sold price was $7,600, Average sold price was $146,786, Median sold price was $129,900, and total sold volume was $11,008,975 High Days on Market (DOM) was 515 days, Low DOM was 0 days, Average DOM was 89 days, Median DOM was 51 days.

Also during this period, 54 homes went under Pending or Contingent contract status. High list price was $1,095,000, Low list price was $10,000, Average list price was $190,814, Median list price was $127,700, and total Pending/Contingent contract volume was $10,303,989. High DOM was 592 days, Low DOM was 1 day, Average DOM was 104 days, and Median DOM was 56 days.

Legend of the Seeker 2.01. Marked

Аааа! Завърна се! С ненормално яка коса! И не, не съм гледала само това от епизода. Да видим пък какво съм видяла.

Като цяло беше супер. Косата на Ричард! *flails* Искам да пипна тази коса, по дяволите! Я не ме гледайте така, вие искате същото! Не се опитвайте да го скриете!

Ричард Рал… Ами, признавам си, бях спойлната от половин година сигурно. Така че не мога да имам напълно неотровената от знания гледна точка. Защо имам дежа ву с първия епизод? Там пак разказваха една голяяяма дълга епична страшна история… Да, знам, че е нужно за сюжета, но просто ми се струва малко тежичко да промениш възприятията на зрителите толкова много за толкова малко време. Я някой, който не е знаел, да каже как е реагирал. Ще го оценя много – искам да видя дали аз съм студенокръвна кучка или наистина не е било толкова въздействащо отначало.

Кара… естествено, че първата й сцена в епизода трябваше да бъде такава. Нали трябва да привлечем аудитория и от другия пол – този, който не въздиша по прекрасното тяло (и коса!) на Ричард. Ама че ми е умен той, как хубавичко уби скрийлингчето. Но, пич, намери си начин да се отървеш от тая брада. Като ще Кейлън с ножовете да те отърве, ама се отърви. Не е хубаво да стоиш така брадясал. Или сега какво, дядо Зед с дългата коса, аз с дългата брада? Чакай, пусни и ти коса, по-добре ще е.

Кейлън… Ох, мила, какво червило са ти проснали. Даааарлинг, нито това червило ти отива, нито ревността. И все пак продължава да ме радва като герой. Дано само не разбозавят всичко.

Каризма Карпентър ме радва. Особено ме израдва как я почти удавиха в онова там, джакузи ли, какво се води. Но пък да видим докъде ще я докарат с нейната героиня. От мен да мине, няма да я мразя.

Имам още едно нещо да кажа: специалните ефекти на този сериал просто винаги са ме радвали страшно много. Особено как Зед замрази чудото, какво хубаво беше. Помня, че в абсолютно първия епизод точно това ме заплени към 12 и половина вечерта (сутринта?) – срециалните ефекти и боя (и историята, не на последно място). Да видим какво ще измъдрят да правят съответно отговорните хорица.

The Season Two Premiere of “Legend of the Seeker” has finally arrived! The second season is loosely based on Stone of Tears, which is second book in “The Sword of Truth” series by Terry Goodkind. Charisma Carpenter guest stars as Mord Sith Triana along with series regular Tabrett Bethell and the rest of the LOTS cast.

**POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD**

In the season one finale “Reckoning”, Richard (Craig Horner) with the help of Mord Sith Cara (Tabrett Bethell) defeat Darken Rahl and fulfill the prophecy. People have begun rejoicing on the Seeker’s victory over Darken Rahl (Craig Parker) however the remaining Mord Sith along with some loyal D’Harans are without a leader. A banquet is being held in the Seeker’s honor but Richard although flattered, feels that he and Zedd should proceed with their journey in order to escort Kahlan (Bridget Regan) to Aydindril as that is where the Mother Confessor resides. The banquet is crashed by a screeling but Richard is able to lure the creature away. Here are the rest of the episode highlights:

• Darken Rahl is in the underworld and is greeted by the Keeper and vows that he will expand his dominion to the world above. Also there is no escape from death and the Seeker will belong to him (the Keeper).
• The Mord Sith gather and Triana (Charisma Carpenter) and Cara get into an altercation as she does not approve of Cara leading them as the Mord Sith have pledged their allegiance to serve the House of Rahl. Cara repeats to Triana that Darken Rahl is dead, but Triana rebuts and says that there must be another Rahl as their agiels would not work if there weren’t another Rahl next in line.
• Richard, Kahlan, and Zedd try to track down the screeling but they find a tear in the veil which separates the world from the living from the dead. That is how the screeling escaped from the underworld. The power of orden is what caused the tear and in order to repair it, Richard must seek the Stone of Tears which has been lost for quite some time.
• Back in town some D’Haran soldiers have requested to see Richard. They are not there to fight but to pledge their allegiance to the new Lord Rahl (aka Richard). The leader of the battalion explains to Richard that they have kept a secret for as long as Richard has been alive that he is Darken Rahl’s brother*. He describes that Panis Rahl learned of a prophecy where he (Panis Rahl) would father another child whom will kill Darken Rahl and therefore he disguised himself as a handsome young shepard and had a relationship with Zedd’s daughter who eventually gave birth to Richard. When Darken Rahl heard of this, he killed his father, but [Panis] was revived by a Mord Sith (hmm…I wonder if they are implying that Panis Rahl could still be alive) and the battalion leader sent a message to Zedd’s daughter (Richard’s mother) informing her that Darken Rahl had given orders to have every 1st born son in Brennidon killed. The battalion leader and his men have kept this secret so that one day they would serve to protect Richard…the new Lord Rahl.
• Triana is visited by Darken Rahl’s spirit and Darken Rahl has a special task for Triana but first he commands her to get rid of Cara.
• Zedd volunteers to go ahead and journey to Aydindril in order to find out info on the Stone of Tears. Richard once again wants to search then slay the screeling with the help of the battalion while Kahlan stays behind to protect the town.
• Cara and the other Mord Sith are out and about, but Triana and the others gang up on Cara, beat her up and take her agiel, and leave her for dead.
• Triana and the other Mord Sith head to town and take as many of the young girls with them including Rachel.
• Richard, Kahlan, and the battalion go out to save the children when they encounter Cara. Cara joins them as she wants revenge on her Mord Sith sisters but Kahlan questions Cara’s motives. Richard and the battalion decide to stage an attack to lure out the Mord Sith while Cara and Kahlan go and save the girls. The plan works. Then Cara goes after Triana and kills her with the agiel that Triana took from her.
• On Zedd’s journey he encounters Shota. She saves him time by telling him the info he seeks from Aydindril but she also shares a prophecy. She tells Zedd that he needs to name a new Seeker because Richard Rahl (aka Richard Cypher) will fail in defeating the Keeper. She further tells him that there will be 3 signs which will tell him that she speaks the truth and they are: 1.) Richard will deny that which gives him power 2.) He will embrace the one in Red 3.) He where bear the mark of the one who would destroy all life. She adds that if Zedd doesn’t act then, the Keeper will win.
• Richard, Kahlan, and the battalion return to town with the rescued girls. Zedd arrives and greets them and begins to tell Richard and Kahlan of his run in with Shota when the screeling returns. Richard is able to distract the creature as Zedd casts a spell and freezes the creature. Richard then slays the creature.
• Richard is anxious to begin their journey to seek the Stone of Tears. Originally Richard was going to go to the People’s Palace to declare himself to be the new Lord Rahl but decides against it. This is the first sign…Richard has denied what would give him power. Richard then tells Kahlan that he and Zedd will escort her to Aydindril first, find the Stone next, and he’ll come back for Kahlan afterward. (Aww…). Cara declares that she will join Richard in his quest. Richard is hesitant but accepts, this is the second sign…he has embraced the one in Red.
• Richard, Kahlan, Zedd, and Cara head to Aydindril but before they get there. Kahlan decides to stay with Richard in his journey to find the Stone of Tears. They make camp and while everyone is asleep, Richard is greeted by Darken Rahl’s spirit with a message that his efforts are futile and he will ultimately be for the Keeper. Darken Rahl then lays his hand on Richard’s chest which causes him pain. Richard suddenly wakes up from what seemed to be a bad dream but he holds his chest in pain and sees a hand print seared on his chest. This is the third sign, Richard bears the mark of the Keeper, the mark of the one who would destroy all of life.

*In the books, Darken Rahl is not Richard’s brother but Richard’s father. Check out my Book vs. Show post in order to find out the differences between the show and the first book, “Wizard’s First Rule”. On a random note, I thought the story line they came up with in regards to Panis Rahl disguising himself in order to fool Richard’s mother into having a relationship with him to be rather reminiscent of the movie “Excalibur”. In the film, Uther Pendragon convinces Merlin to cast a spell on him so that he can seduce someone’s wife. Oh well…creative liberties.

Ох, откога не съм писала сутрешен пост… Доста време, не си спомням даже (не че не мога да погледна, но мързел!) Дано докато го напиша този пост, още е сутрин, демек преди 12. Събудиха ме най-гадно, а трябва да ходя да решавам задачи. Да, неделя е, ужас!

Та, така, да кажа за събуждането… Тъкмо си ми вървят надписите на филма (да, сънувах филм, не ме питайте как става този номер. Беше някакъв исторически филм май. Ама аз не обичам историята толкова много!). И ми звъни телефона, ама едно хубаво и силно, от другия край на стаята. Трябваше да си изпълзя от изпод одеалото и да отида и да вдигна. Оказа се онова лудото, което принципно по цяла лятна ваканция ме буди. И сега как ще го обезглавя… Местим се на други, по-пацифистични теми.

Greater Greenville includes Greenville, Simpsonville, Greer, Easley, Fountain Inn, Mauldin, Taylors, Travelers Rest, Piedmont, Landrum, Marietta, pelzer, some parts of Spartanburg County, Anderson County, Pickens County, Laurens County, and Oconee County.

High list price for these 150 sold homes was $529,900, Low list price was $18,900, Average list price $173,613, Median list price was $149,250, and total list price volume was $26,042,049. High sold price for these listings was $493,000, Low sold price was $13,860, Average sold price was $166,175, Median sold price was $142,750, and total sold volume was $24,926,306. High Days on Market (DOM) was 629 days, Low DOM was 0 days, Average DOM was 97 days, and Median DOM was 65 days.

There were also 56 homes that went under a Pending or Contingency contract status in Greater Greenville during this period. High list price for these homes was $599,900, Low list price was $7,900, Average list price was $134,898, Median list price was $118,700, and total volume for these homes that went under Pending or Contingent contract status was $7,554,320. High DOM was 435 days, Low DOM was 2 days, Average DOM was 83 days, Median DOM was 65 days.

The donation is 10% of the referred agent’s commission. “Right now our service is even more critical to charities, and we’ve had so many contacting us,” says
Jaynes-Learned.  “Many nonprofit organizations are really feeling the impact from our current economy.”  Statistics reported for the last three months alone by Guidestar, a nonprofit resource organization, show that over half (52%) of nonprofits have received fewer contributions, and eight percent are nearly closing their doors.  Individual contributions have fallen, and so have grants.

Brokers for Charity intends to encourage change in the way businesses and consumers buy and sell commercial and residential real estate.
